Beautiful, comfortable room. Quiet. Amazing location with a short half mile walk to the heart of downtown. Tons of restaurants in walking distance including several attached to the hotel with late dining hours. Everything I could want! Can’t wait to go back.

Very nice hotel, but the continental breakfast meat needs some help....the bacon is cooked way way way too done! Bacon does not have to be dark brown or black to be done. The staff are both helpful and friendly.

The staff at Fairfield is the best. If you ever have the pleasure, Brett, the general manager, is the epitome of a great hotel general manager. He and the assistant general manager, Jeff, do everything in their power to take care of their guests.

The staff was nice, the room was decent if a little small. The shower was actually pretty great. No fan in the bathroom left it a humid steamy mess though. No pool was a bit of a downer.

Great service, great amenities, great Continental breakfast, green conscious, close to bars/restaurants downtown, only issue was getting the shower water temperature to stay at a constant comfortable level. Overall great experience.

Service wasn't great. The valet took an incredibly long time to take our car. We got 'upgraded' to a room with a 'view' of the car park and the room could barely fit the king bed with room to walk. We left the room at 11am and our room wasn't serviced when we returned at midnight. The room was clean and in a good location, but stay at one of the other Marriott hotels that are right by, they are substantially better.

Area was clean and well kept. Management helped with a fridge and microwave not included originally with the room. Breakfast was great and served early

Went there during the Indy Mini, had reserved almost a year in advanced under the group plan listed then figured about 3 months before the event if there was a room available for another night we would stay so I called the reservation line whom told me there was availability, reserved for extra night at with AAA, no biggie right. Fast forward to day of event for check in, only had room for 1 night only as they cancelled my second night due to not getting group pricing (which was higher)and that there were no available late check outs either, which was different from previous years. So I asked why my second night was cancelled, no one could tell me. So then I was frantically calling around to see if any area hotels were open...NONE. this was my first half marathon and I definitely was probably not going to be up for driving 4 hrs back home ans who wouldn't want a shower after....so luckily I went back down same night as check in talked with front desk around midnight to see if anyone cancelled sure enough someone did and was able to keep same room however the second night I would have gotten my AAA discount which could have saved me 50.00, but they said since it was under the group thing I could not get the savings. So long and short of it, if you plan on running the half always get the second night when you book and if you decide to leave then give them the 24 needed for cancellation.

Little tiny rooms, not too bad of a view. Not too many amenities. Just a fairly average experience, though a little pricey for it.

It is very close to the stadium and zoo, so it might be reasonable reasonable considering that.

A nice clean and modern hotel. Close to downtown, friendly staff, and a great breakfast included. Only needs a pool! It does have a fitness center however which is passable. I'd stay here again anytime if traveling on business.

The website said it had parking. That's a true statement, however, it's not free. Also, there are no mini fridges in the room. In the great USA I thought that was the norm. Don't assume there is a mini fridge. Had to throw our food out:(

We had an ok stay. There was no glaring problems, but we were certainly not blown away. The parking is really hard to find if you do not know were it is. And it is not free. It costs like $32 to park overnight. They do offer valet service for a couple dollars more. The room was small. There was not any microwave or refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was very nice. They have a full spread continental breakfast.

Located right next to IUPUI and close to the heart of downtown Indy, it's easy to walk places from this hotel. However, that means parking is limited. The garage is confusing and expensive ($32/day) but at least they have one. Rooms are updated and spacious with multiple TV's and a space for working. Bathrooms are also spacious. Free breakfast included which had fresh fruit and a variety of options that I wasn't afraid to try (unlike some other hotel breakfasts).

We stay here everytime we visit Indy. They have a wonderful breakfast, nice clean rooms, and they are located within walking distance of many activities and functions that we have attended, including Victory Field and Military park, also many restaurants and bars. And there is a T.G.I. Fridays attached to the hotel right out front next to the valet parking.

This was a great place to stay. The location is great and you can walk down to anything downtown. It was $32 a day to park my car WITHOUT VALET which is a total scam but w.e the staff was very nice and very accommodating. I doubt I'll be back to Indianapolis ever but I appreciate everything the staff did to make our stay enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in town!

This may seem silly but... I've been here 5 nights and all was well the first couple nights. Noticed 2 days ago the house cleaning left my door open. Mentioned they ought to tell them to make sure they actually close the door when they leave. Said they'd fix the door since it didn't actually close on its own. Now that I'm paying attention it never latches shut, still, room 507. Just have to make sure it's shut when I leave, I guess no huge deal. It'd be nice if the cleaning crew did the same though. Was open for hours the other day.

TV stopped working yesterday, asked to have it fixed. Worked today, just came back from dinner, not working. Not sure what's going on but I don't want to watch 4 separate Marriott commercials running in a loop, this is just wrong. Same thing that happened yesterday.

Very impressed and we will definitely stay here again if we come back. The hotel is connected to the convention center so you can get all over downtown without walking outside which is great in the winter! We got our hotel on late notice so we were unable to secure a handicap accessible room the first night. We went down and talked to the front desk about getting an ADA room the second night and it was absolutely no problem. They were very accommodating and helpful. The price is average for the hotels around it but it also offers continental breakfast which is not offered at all of the hotels. Breakfast has a variety of choices such as sausage, egg omelets, scrambled eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, waffles, bread, etc. One thing that really stuck out to us was the breakfast crew. Delisa, Ashlee, and Yeimi greeted everyone as they came to breakfast with a smile! They were also extremely attentive to keeping the counters clean, the food restocked, and the tables clean after someone would get up. We stay at quite a few hotels every year and I have never seen any crew like this one! Also, the hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, and all of the staff was very friendly. They have a very nice ADA room with a roll in shower. They also have a very nice lobby with a fire place to sit and relax and stay warm! Highly recommend this hotel!

Room was itty bitty, shower water pressure was a joke, and parking was expensive. But breakfast staff was friendly and helpful, and it was very close to the start/finish line for the marathon. Will try to stay elsewhere next year.

Great customer service. We were from out of town and they allowed us to check in 2 hours early. This is prime location. The hotel is close to museums and there is even a TGIF Fridays connected to the hotel lobby.

Great experience, very friendly staff. Free breakfast with waffles, bacon and eggs plus bagels and cereal. The suite was nice but tvs were small. We had a issue at check in and they went out of their way to fix it. The location was perfect, Lucas Oil Stadium and downtown restaurants were not more then a 10 minute walk. Museums and Beautiful walking trails across the street. The zoo is also a short walk from hotel. This will definitely be my go to hotel next time I'm in Indy.

Fairfield is a good Marriott choice if you're trying to be budget conscious but still stay somewhere nice. Like that they have smart TVs you can log into your Netflix account with, but the rooms always feel really humid. Found a bit of mold on the pillow case, but they promptly swapped them out for us

This is the second Fairfield we've stayed at in a month and one had mildewed curtains and thus one had mildewed pillow cases. The room seemed fine otherwise. I didn't book the room I thought I had and they were very nice about switching us. Staff super friendly.

I use to work their and they are very racist i never feel welcome their but Manager are employees i didn't get train the next day she put me with this other black girl and she was new too. So she told me to get the cart in the basement to use because the Mexican girl was off and the other Mexican irina came to me and told me to put that back don't touch it and i told herChristina told me but she still wasn't hear that finally irina told Christina that she would have my on cart made up tomorrow so Christina told me to put my cart on the 4th floor with a lady name Rosa she was not happy telling me to go way and that i can't put my cary in the closet with her so i told her that Christina told me to she go say ima take it out so i call my manager and she came told her im going to put my cart in the closet and i told Christina this is the second time somebody coming at me crazy and disrespectful so on my off days my thing would be off my cart like my mop , vacumm, cleaning thing's didn't say nothing so i went to Christina and told her and she act like she was going to handled it but i don't think so because before i started the same lady Rosa got into it with the other black girl about the same issue so if she talk to her then why did it happen again the mexican would only share with each other in the meeting never did Christina say thank you as a whole she would call out names Christina told me that i have to help them so they would like me and that's not the way it should be team and respect you have to gave other a try til they show you different . one day i find 3,000 in room 602 and a blue passport i never hear it in the meeting put they make sure you no what the other due . i put my two week s notice because i didn't feel welcome their and the Manager Brett seen me crying and i talk to him about what was going on and he said he was going to handled it in some area he did put Christina was the bigger problem brett said out his on my mouth that it was gong on before he got their and they fired the other Manager for that reason and that he only been their for a month but it's still going on . took my hours away from me that i work hard for i was already off three days and took another day from me talking about the front desk did the schedule put she lie because i was told by the Brett the front desk don't do the schedule she do . so she let the other black girl go because she start treating them like they lwould treat her and they let Christina let her go by saying they didn't need her because the hours was low and hired a mexican the same day . nobody perfect and no one should feel mistreated by their Manager are employees we all trying to live and take care of I're family so if a person is doing right by their job their no reason to treat them different im a mother of two girls and i hope when they grow up they don't have to experience something so stupid. They only want mexican house keeper.

Nice location, but when we walked into our room we we're instantly"greeted" with the smell of vomit from the night prior I assume. We tried calling down to the front desk and no one answered. Unfortunately, we we're in a hurry to drop our things and leave since we were attending a concert 30 minutes away. Later, when we returned, the smell was much worse and of course they couldn't move us rooms. Then, on top of that, the TV did not work at all. Really wasn't thrilled with this hotel or it's service.

We waited to get a room on a floor with the other couple traveling with us until approximately 6pm, and were never called to inform us it was ready. The room's closet door is broken, and is a bit smaller than what is considered a standard size room. If you're looking to save a buck from booking the neighboring hotels, but won't miss amenities, it's a fine choice.

Great location for enjoying the sights in downtown Indianapolis. We walked along the river, to the monuments, and of course to St. Elmo's for shrimp and steak. There is free coffee and infused water in the lobby and the rooms are fairly cozy.

We stayed there on a Saturday night. We reserved a king bed on a 3rd party website, but were told during check in that only rooms with 2 twins was available. Regardless, the room was great and the hotel was fantastic. Not their thought that a 3rd party website was wrong

Fair hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Rooms are reasonably spacious and fairly comfortable. There's no hotel restaurant or bar onsite, but there is a TGI Fridays connected to the hotel. Breakfast is average - buffet only, served on disposable crockery with disposable silverware. Nothing available to order, and the breakfast room is fairly small so you may not get your own table in busy periods. Fine for an overnight or few days' stay. Other hotels in the area are better if you can get them.

The room was standard quality but parking was expensive and difficult to find due to this property being combined with 3 other Marriott hotels. We also had a room with a view to the back of the 3 other hotels so it was depressing to open the window curtains.

Fairfield is a nice, reasonably priced hotel, and it's our favorite place to stay in Indianapolis. It's attached to the convention center via underground tunnel and an overpass so it's easy to avoid bad weather. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Free continental breakfast (sausage, eggs, fruit, waffle maker, etc). Free WiFi. Great hotel overall.

Awful! We were charged $29 for parking and NEVER told of it until it was on our bill. Then we pull out the sleeper sofa and it was like sleeping on rocks! You could feel the springs and bars-- worst sleeper sofa of my lifetime. It was also slanted. We called and they brought us extra comforters for more padding but you could still feel the bars. The hotel also didn't tell us of the $14 service charge for TGI Fridays room service until after we were charged!! If we would have known that, we would have walked downstairs to get it ourselves! Overall bad experience.

We stayed at your hotel, Saturday Jan 31st. I cannot stress the cleanness of our room, spotless with a clean fresh smell. I read previous reviews, so I was prepared for no microwave or mini frig. I was disappointed that the, “flat screen television with seating area”, was actually a nice television and one desk chair. After a busy day a place to sit and relax before going out for dinner, is a must. Perching on the edge of the bed & one desk chair does not make a seating area. I feel that your PR department, misrepresented your hotel on that count. Room very small, but the cleanness made up for the tight feeling. Breakfast was fresh, hot and tasty, something for everyone. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Room was clean. But seriously...Full beds? Should be two queens. The fold out bed was TERRIBLE! The mattress was very cheap and old. The full beds were way too hard (and narrow) not to be confused with firm. Not any padding on top the coils. The covers seemed made for twin beds, barely hung over the edge. The towels were worn and cheap. The comforter had horrible stains, (I don't even want to know from what). I do try and conserve by reusing towels but the bathroom does not have any racks or hooks to hang them up. For $200 a night I expected more. Breakfast was good and dining area was clean. Staff was nice. Spouse was there for a conference so didnt have choice on hotel but glad room came with free breakfast since we have 3 teenagers.

Good stay overall. Double check your accounts later in the week. They double charged me. It has already been a month of calling and they agree to put the money they owe back to my account. Still has yet to show up. Filing a complaint with the BBB. $300+ is not exactly an amount I like to see randomly vanish from my account after already being charged. I won't be going back because of this experience.
