The casino was amazing but the servers were really white Brenda. Even though I was putting money in left and right every time I would come over they would kind of ignore me even though I spent hundreds of dollars. Other than that the casino itself is cool and there's plenty of attractions nearby

First time staying here as our usual hotel was not yet opened. We made sure to book a Flamingo room as those were the newly remodeled ones. Very spacious rooms, comfy beds, and fairly clean. Great location, center strip, would definitely stay here again.

Well I had a most excellent stay. It was my birthday and it was a last minute decision. I couldn't have pick myself a better room. It overlooked the flamingo area and the Wheel
(Lynq) was right there. Shinning bright. I took myself to dinner at Carlo's and Charlie's, very tasteful dinner; nice place. Very comfortable place all around. Thank you so much.

So far the hotel has been amazing g and super accommodating. The pool randomly closed and I requested a room credit and was given one. Shouldn’t charge resort fees for a closed pool, no pool....not a resort! Other than that great deal on a room with a view!

Looking for a peaceful place while exploring the strip? The Flamingo habitat at the Flamingo will take care of that for you. Tranquil and fun to watch the wildlife. The California Brown Pelicans seem a little shy but that might have been the time of day we were there.

Unfortunately, the website says they are not doing public feedings at this time, so I would expect the wildlife to be more active right after feedings.

I would recommend stopping by for 30-45 minutes to just slow your trip down for a few minutes.

And otherwise great vacation has been stifled by a ridiculous policy of room checks when the guests attempt to assist the hotel by skipping on the daily cleaning.
We called down to the front desk to try to inform them in advance about our plan. They told us they could not assist us unless we informed them at the beginning of our stay.
The following morning the security insisted they had to do a “room check “during the period of time where we would typically be intimate.
This is a very bad policy with very little benefit.

I love this place! The rooms were clean. The view of the ferris wheel from the room is mesmerizing. The pool parties are fun. I enjoyed the burlesque show. The cost is low. It's definitely a good hotel choice. Be careful of the Wyndham hotel staff trying to scam you into accepting there "free gift" when you check into the Flamingo. They will waste your time and they target people who look lost.

I was very surprised at how nice the rooms and Casino was at Flamingo. It use to stay at this hot years ago, but as new hotels entered the Strip, I moved away from
The older ones. The pool and garden area was breath taking with the flamingos and waterfalls. The restaurants were very good as well. Excellent customer service across the board!

I'm kind of disenchanted with the Vegas hotels that charge the parking and Resort fees which end up costing more than my hotel stay sometimes so it's hard for me to write an honest review. However, if you stay here make sure to get a renovated room that is clean and very stylishly modern-looking. the older rooms are under renovation and if you're there during the week you might be woke up to construction sounds. I was disappointed with the service at the Mexican restaurant when we tried to go for drinks later in the evening. The staff does not seem very interested in attending to the guests. They have high pressure sales people all over the casino floor that have a very aggressive pitch and it gets quite annoying if you're staying there over a period of a few days. Also the pool is very nice but is very crowded during the summer and the Cabanas and bottle service seem a little excessive but I suppose that is the current climate with the Vegas pools these days. Pro: great location on the strip..nice renovated rooms. Con: not the best customer service and overbearing salespeople. There are other hotels on the strip I might consider unless you are specifically looking for that location.

We enjoyed our stay here. The Casino looks very nice and I won quite a bit during our stay!! The location of the Flamingo is the tops! Heart of the strip! Easy in and out from neighboring Resorts and attractions! The pool was easily the best part of our stay!! Great pool set up with many pool options!! Great staff and our room was always well kept! I so badly wanted to give The Flamingo 5 stars but, the knock here was our check-in! Our room was over booked and our option was to sit and wait for a room to open up (this was at 10:30pm) or upgrade and pay extra for their over site! Overall a great stay here and I would come back!

It has been a great stay. We are staying in a mini suite and it is very spacious. The room smells clean except with the exception that maybe our next door neighbors were smoking weed. Not that there is anything wrong with that but we are not smokers and the smell makes us woozy. The hotel staff is very nice and courteous. Overall, the Flamingo has never let us down.

There were two methods to check in. They had a kiosk to check in and out which was nice really no line. But to speak with some one the line was a bit long probably. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The room did have a funky smell like of cleaning chemicals. Overall it is a nice and modern looking hotel. They did sure upgrade there room designs

This hotel is super cute inside. I loved the way the rooms are set up and i love the glass bathroom walls. It was really clean inside and the cleaning service was always done really good. The pool downstairs is pretty awesome and a great size. It does have the expected casino downstairs for playing pleasure. Overall this hotel was really nice and really clean.

This is a pretty good hotel, it is located in a good spot on the strip. Prices are reasonable, there are several pools, one area they cut off for pool party and the other areas there was a good size pool along with a area with a small water slide. It was pretty good stay, no complaints here. They also have a little lake area where you can see ducks, swans, turtles, and flamingos. They look so peaceful at night sleeping!

The Flamingo came highly recommended by a good friend and also my doctor. As the Flamingo is now it's much better than 3 stars. Room just renovated 18031, fantastic view of pool. All the employees have been really nice. My first stay in Vegas.
My cocktail server, Samantha is great.
Next summer will be coming back to stay a week instead of 3 nights this time. I am very impressed

It's a cheap place on the strip. Classic but extremely weathered and aged. Furniture chipped and scratched. Our tub was clogged when we arrived. -the maintenance guy was super nice and fixed it really quick!
I would recommend paying a bit more and go to a better hotel if you can afford it. We just stayed here because we were stopping through town overnight on a weekend so not many options. Pool closes at 6pm. Valet parking is like ~20 a night, super worth it if you're driving.
The floor is pretty nice for slots and table games!

Got a standard room with two beds. Good amount of space, comfortable and attractively laid out. The amenities here are just as good as anywhere else and it's got a great location, all with a lower price than some of the bigger joints nearby. The pool area was nice, with a live DJ and lots of room. Sure it's flanked by buildings, but it's still beers and a pool on the strip. I will definitely think about staying here again.

Best hotel (as of yet!) I've stayed at. Beautiful on the outside and in.

Outside garden before the pool area with live flamingoes and birds. Free to anyone. Beautiful but parts by the water/animals did smell. Church is so small and sweet. Perfect spot for an outdoor wedding!

Pool is open for everyone, as far as I know its free! Dress code is very strict! Pool is clean, lots of spaces to sit in and out of shade. Upper area seems more family friendly for kids. The bar staff were so friendly! Best variety of drinks.

Check in and out process was so simple! Included in my stay were coupons for the restaurant and bars in the hotel.

Staff was so friendly and giving. As crazy as it was there you could tell staff was genuine caring to help.

This casino is very fun to play at. We spent most of our time at the bar because we had a very cool bartender who kept our drinks full. If you're looking for a casino that's very low key and with low minimums on bets I would recommend the Fremont. It seems like a lot of locals visit this casino and they have a lot of drink specials. I won quite a bit at the roulette table and my buddy did pretty good at the craps table. They have a really good buffet called The Paradise Buffet. Not pricey and also not the best buffet but for the money, it's worth it. They have all the favorites you want and the desserts are really good. So if you ever by downtown Vegas. I recommend you stop by the Fremont to get some good food, cheap drinks, and try to win some money.

I was pleasantly surprised about the Flamingo. It is not the usual upscale hotel that I stay in when I’m in Vegas but it was very comfortable. I had a beautiful spacious room. The grounds are gorgeous. I enjoyed watching the animals especially the black swan. Great central location.

Stayed June 6-8. New rooms are nice. Slots are loose. Customer service so and so. First time I have had an issue at a Total Rewards Casino. Signed up for an upgrade if available. I was told my upgrade was accepted, keys didn’t work, had to go back downstairs only to get new keys and find out it was not the upgrade I requested. All in all, Glenn at the front counter helped me out as the young lady who registered me was already off, overall experience would have been a 1 Star if not for Glenn. Thank you sir.

I stayed the night with my wife and two young kids before flying out of Vegas the next day. The hotel was very nice and the price was great. The kids loved the pool and the conservatory with all the animals. The location was also great. We were able to walk to many of the other hotels on the strip. While the room was great, we didn't partake on the gambling, so I can't really rate them on that part. We would stay again in the future.

This hotel is beginning to show its age. My room was dated and the housekeepers must not ever clean along the walls, it was very dirty! The carpet in a few hallways needed to be stretched, as it was wrinkling and a trip hazard. The restaurants were good. The steak house and Mexican restaurant were both good. Casinos will take your money just as easily as any other casino.

I went to the happy hour at the "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" bar within Margaritaville. It was a great time. They had 5 cent beer from 5-6pm. I got there a bit before 5pm and scored a bar stool (at which I played Keno for the first time to get my first beer free). Everyone was friendly & passing out beers (taking turns paying for rounds). Handing out free beer is easy at this price & you can make a lot of friends quickly. I met a wide variety of people - from retired couples, to business travelers, to 20-something bar hoppers. The bartenders were very busy (obviously) but also very entertaining. I'd definitely go back.

I've had a great time twice that I've stayed at the flamingo. It's very pink, but very interesting. It's one of those older hotels on the strip. Don't expect anything extravagant, and you won't be disappointed. Join the Caesars reward app and you get additional perks. I would totally stay here again.

Nice location. Average casino, but the payback rate seems to be pretty good here. The rooms are outdated, but I believe many of them have been redone lately. This is one of the less expensive Caesar's hotels. The buffet is somewhat average. They have a food court which is open all night for some restaurants which is very convenient.

Although an aging hotel, the Flamingo is clean and well maintained. I've stayed here five times now. It's nostalgic and has great ambiance. The rooms are super clean, I've never had a complaint. Pricing is amazing. Great restaurants are found in here (miss the buffet though, you should bring that back). I will stay here every time I go. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because our car was bashed in while parked there and they had no help for us. Still, love the Flamingo!!!

Love this hotel! Some rooms are a little more dated but honestly, how much time are you spending in the room. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Bonus that they have an adults only pool that was a hoot! Hotel is perfectly placed in the center of the strip. Staff was friendly and I would get come back!

The rooms here are fine. They look nice and are comfortable and clean. A few minor repairs could have been done to my room, but it didn't detract from my enjoyment. Some additional outlets next to the bed would be very welcome though. We booked a conference room, and everything was handed as we had specified. Plus, the staff member assigned to assist us was incredibly friendly and helpful. He gets top marks! The other staff we encountered were also pretty helpful.

I mean other than the fact the place is very neglected by Caesars Entertainment... It's the Flamingo and its Iconic... love this place soon much... Have had some awesome times up in this joint and have won a lot of money in the Flamingo as well... Flamingo is in a sick location on the Strip and is definitely known to be an affordable party spot... Flamingo gets 5 stars straight up....

The Flamingo is just what you need when you go to Vegas. The room was average and obviously dated, but I never felt grossed out by staying in the room. Most people don’t spend much time in the hotel room anyway when they are in Vegas. Location is convenient, food and gift shops had a great selection, and the workers were friendly. I would have just liked the rooms to be a bit more modern and we also had to try three different times at the express check in machines.

Great location on the strip nearby all attractions. The 'New Room' type I can highly recommend. Stayed before in the normal old rooms and never doing this again!
Beautiful garden with flamingo's and a great pool with large fish. Two swimming pools (kids and normal folks)

Located in the heart of Las Vegas, modern building with spacious and bright room’s, Large and comfortable beds, panoramic windows with views of downtown Las Vegas and some of its iconic symbols. Clean and private.
Areas of exterior with ample gardens and walks, several pools, and of course the flamingos ... birds that we can spend hours to admire and are always beautiful to see again the next day.
Pleasant game rooms, well decorated, safe and well frequented.
Good and varied options of restaurants and shops.
Connexion with Low cost parking car

One thing I love about Flamingo that tends to be that the prices are pretty good for the location on the strip. The rooms never wow me, but I've also never had a problem. The check-in experience is one of the more pleasant I've had, the amenities are pretty good, the casino is big enough that I can do the things I'd like, but small enough that I can navigate with no problem after I've had a few. Overall, a good value.

Recently stayed here and I am not one who likes to be bothered and the check in Kiosk is awesome. Check in and out is so fast and easy. The hotel was very well kept and the room that we stayed was newly remodeled. The location was great right across from the Bellagio. I will say reading some of the reviews I was skeptical on staying here with all the negative reviews, I'm glad this did not change my mind. I will say the "wild life" outside was not that great, it was more like a fish pond. Online it makes it seem as if there is a show (if there was one I did not see it). Other then that I would recommend this hotel. The upgrades, the location, the amenities, great price and not a whole lot of staff bothering you. Again if you are one who needs a lot of attention I.E not enough shampoo or your sheets are wrinkled probably not the place for you.

Been here several times for a convention and have sincerely enjoyed it everytime. The rooms are modern and updated. The location on the strip is hands down the best. It's central to everything. While the casino area is not the most modern, everything else the casino/hotel has to offer more than makes up for it.

Loved it here! Mostly because of the central location. The only reason not 5 stars was given is that the hotel rooms were just a bit run down. Not as glitzy as I was expecting based on photos. But overall, a very positive experience. I love the kiosk check in/out. That was a HUGE plus.

The reviews were great people. I tried this hotel for a couple nights and loved it. The rooms are very nice and calming colors and lavish designs and the service were very welcoming and helpful. Awesome casino and shopping. Had some amazing stores including a bath store my wife Bought many bath bombs and scrubs that are all desert themed. The main reason we came to the Flamingo was to see the wildlife and do a little gambling. The wildlife area is nice, it's February so it wasn't too crowded. The area is a nice getaway in the middle of the strip. There was a variety of games to play and the location is great as it's next to a lot of shops outside as well as centrally located near many other casinos. Overall it was great to visit!

And we did a Bucket list dream of mine, Going to see them perform, which was way off the scales of Fantastic...Superb at Best!! Then we got to meet them after the show!! I have Loved them my whole life and Marie had always been my Idol, they are so sweet, wonderful, and down to earth!!!! They really love and appreciate their fans. They were everything I knew they would be, and more. Donny is still just as Handsome as he has always been, and Marie is Gorgeous beyond words. I would see them over and over again. This particular casino is a little "old school," but a classic. I stayed here because the conference I was attending was on the third floor. I got a discount on the room with conference attendance. The main floor is always lively. There are restaurants in the rear of the casino, including: hamburgers, pizza, Italian, sandwiches, and Asian cuisine. There is an outdoor park and walkway with fish in the stream. There is also a swimming park as well. There are lots of shops, markets, and stores throughout the main floor. Large conference rooms and reception halls are available. My individual room had two queen beds, a bathroom with basic amenities, a closet safe, a desk, drawers, and a flat screen TV. I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't mind staying again. I would like to point out that you get charged a daily WiFi fee and a hotel amenities fee (pool, fitness room, etc), even if you don't use them. I was unaware of this and didn't take advantage of them during my stay, but was still charged for them upon check out.

This is a great, family friendly hotel. The rooms are fairly inexpensive and the beds are super comfy. The hotel is in the middle of everything. They have a pond with lots of fishes and a pelican, they even do a live feeding twice a day which is great for the kids. They also have a lot of flamingos. Food wise they have a few restaurants and a candy shop, I haven't tried the buffet but the little deli they have had great sandwiches.

This is where we stayed our last visit and we have stayed several times before. This place never disappoints. Easy check in and the personal went above and beyond to make our stay a very pleasant one. Lots of good shopping and good food available inside and great location to get to other attractions. The gardens and the fire pit are so very nice and one of the reasons we like to stay here. I will stay again and would recommend this place to anyone looking.

I stayed there for my birthday. It was a good location to get to anywhere you like. They put me in a standard room and I felt it was not good so I upgrade to a better room for $25 dollars extra a night and it was a little better. They put me in the handicap bathroom and it was bad. Every time I took a shower I had to put all my towels on the floor. I couldn’t walk in the bathroom after cause my feet would get soak from the floor. The sink took 5 minuets to go down. I called about both problems and never got a different room or sink fixed. I only give the stars for the location. Customer service has to be better when you spend all your money on a room.

Super customer service! The rooms were great and also had a wonderful message in the lobby! I accidentally left my purse (Kate spade) in the room and I had a wonderful customer experience getting it back. They promptly checked my room after I reported my bag lost and found it while the lost and found department was not in the building at the time. They returned my purse less than a week later with all cards in my wallet intact. I cannot thank them enough. Thanks flamingo!!!

Really nice hotel. Stayed in newer section. Room was clean. Bed was so comfortable. Pillows were like clouds. Small kitchenette with coffee maker and microwave. Utensils and glasses, cups etc... Hotel was clean as was the room. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Flamingos is close to the strip so no 30 minute walk through casino. Although it does have it's own Casino. Would stay there again.

The flamingo is a beautiful resort located in a very good spot of the strip that allows guests to be in the middle of any event such as a fireworks show. It's also very close to a lot of other popular places to visit on the strip. I haven't personally been in any of the rooms so I have no reliable information on that. The service was surprisingly great. There were a lot of nice people there.

Perfect location on the strip. Many restaurants, shows, clubs within a short distance. Good food. Decent prices. But the staff could be more attentive. Our room was not cleaned at all between the previous customer and us. And they placed us on a smoking floor which we didn't not want.

Was pleasantly surprised! Lunch at Flour & Barley was good, but too greasy. From the fridge later that day, it was perfection. Husband won $95 on 1 spin on a slot machine too. Wanted to go through to lol at the animals, but ran out of time. Saw macaws you can have put on your head for a photo (not sure of price) which is..... Interesting. Also saw flamingos and pelicans from inside looking out into the animal area. They looked good. Would certainly come back!

Stayed here over Thanksgiving and man was I impressed. I'm a poker player and gambled at quite a few different casino hotels. This one as a whole is by far the nicest I've been to. Always came to gamble in this hotel when we stayed in Caesars Palace last year so decided to stay there this time and loved it! Probably the best location on the strip and one of the cheapest hotels too. Of course it's not quite as luxurious as Caesars Palace but I'd definitely stay here again. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews about the rooms but I thought our room was rather lovely! So no complaints there. Highly recommended!

The hotel room was decent, and clean, although the tiles in the bathroom were a little dated. I would have given them a better rating if they were more transparent with their pricing. A room sounds like a good deal when advertised for 30/night. However that didn't include the "resort fee" of 35/night,which was higher than the room rate. Ironically I would have been quite happy with the transaction if they had just advertised it as a $70/night room.

I did not stay at the hotel, but we went as a group there several times. I had a blast. List money every time, but it was very fun. Many shows, great table games, on the monorail, good customer service, but nothing spectacular for a birthday, at least in my experience. Spent several hours gambling on about $50. I recommend it.

I stayed here for a small conference that was at the hotel for a week. I got one of the cheapest rooms so I was not expecting 5 stars. The room was facing the Flamingo habitat. The bed was comfy. I didn't stay in the rooms. I was staying at the Hilton next to it, but the Hilton guests get to go to their pool for free. So me and some of the people I went to Vegas with would go there everyday for the few days we were there. The pool area there has the craziest, best pool parties I've ever seen everyday. I also love the frozen drink they sell there, great place to stop during 100°+ days in Vegas.

A good hotel. The bathroom in the room needed some remodeling.... Saturday morning there was no hot water..... But everything else was wonderful. I did not meet a single staff member that was not eager and willing to answer a question and help in any way possible. I would visit again.

Staff is friendly, the lobby is really nice and big. There's big lineups because of so many rooms and people checking in. There is a self-service check-in and check-out, which makes it easier. The room we had was not very nice or appealing. The room looks outdated and everything looks very old. You get what you pay for. Numerous attractions near the hotel and there is a lot of mini shops in the hotel where you can buy things.

I wasn't a hotel guest, so I can't speak to that experience, but as far as gambling goes, the Flamingo is great! On the casino floor I received the BEST service from the waitstaff compared to all other casinos on the strip. It was a busy Friday night and service was still FANTASTIC!!!! Sometimes I was at the penny slots, sometimes I was in the high limit area, but regardless the waitresses always made me feel like I was a valued guest and came by often to keep the drinks coming. I didn't win anything, but after my terrible experience at the Wynn, feeling welcomed was more than enough. Highly recommend stopping by the Flamingo and I would spend more time here in the future.

Nice hotel. Great location right in the middle of the strip. Had a king go room which was fine. We had a fridge and coffee maker which was nice. Pool area is really nice. Buffet not worth the price.

You can tell the hotel is old, but it's in great shape for being so. Rooms were simple but nice. Really liked the garden area you could walk around in by the flamingos. The hotel is in the perfect location in the center of the strip. There's a little alley beside the hotel that has tons of restaurants, ice cream parlors, and things to do like the High Roller. It's practically connected to the monorail as well, so it's easy to get up and down the strip. Really enjoyed the hotel for the cheap price and location.

Room was much better than we expected. Go Room, 1 King, Non Smoking. Stayed Sun -Thurs. We had a fridge and coffee in our room. It had some good extras. 45" or maybe bigger TV + TV in the bathroom, automatic curtains, safe, etc. Some areas could've used some touching up, but nothing that bothered us. Only complaint was the time share people that hung out next to the elevators.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the casino, though small in comparison to others, was great; however I must say I was a little disappointed with our room. Though we had a view of the strip, we didn't have the little things usually included in luxury hotel such as soaps, shampoos, or even a mini fridge to keep our leftover food cool. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 3 was the INCREDIBLE brunch buffet. $20 for some of the absolute best buffet ever! Everyone knows quality goes down when eating at a buffet but somehow Flamingo managed to cook all their buffet food as if they were serving people individually. I had eggs, sausage, hash browns and french toast along with beef tacos and pork taco! They also have an action station where they cook your custom omelettes and pancakes and such. There's also a carving station with fresh meat. On top of all that, BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS! It's all inclusive and wonderful!

Strategic location for the new main strip. Far from the old strip. Service was good but in a 2 bedroom no coffee pot. Check in was not until 1 p.m. so be prepared for a long tedious check in process when your reservations are never correct nor on the same floors we booked 4 rooms and one large suite. The large suite was nice with its pink fuzzy carpet. Pool there was great. They have a club at night $20 all you can drink open until 2. It was okay..but rest of Vegas has much better amenities to offer if you ask me. The golden nugget on old Vegas strip had much nicer rooms. But for a budget and being on the strip it's really all you need!

I love the location of this hotel. The rooms are all very clean and reasonably priced. We rented the suite for a bachelor party this trip. They actually double booked us but upgraded us for free to their largest suite which was 200sq ft larger and came with two more beds. It was amazing with a fantastic view of the strip. Suite upgrade or not I would stay at this hotel every trip because of location and price.

One of my favorite hotels on the strip. The rooms are spacious and clean and our view of the strip made it worth the trip. The vending machines and ice dispensers make up for not having a fridge in the room. The extraction is amazing and I never smelled any smoke in the casino. The thing I can't get past is that every single time I left or entered the hotel I was confronted by a staff member trying to sell me show tickets, if I left the room six times a day I was bombarded six times a day. It ruined my experience and I will never stay there again because of that.

The only reason I didn't give five stars is because are car was based in while parked there and they had no help for us. Still, love the Flamingo!!!

The Flamingo is by far the coolest casino on the strip. I love the fact that it's one of the oldest casino's on the strip and it stays there for a reason, personality. It is one of the few places I found on the strip where the bartenders are personable and friendly all the time and not just when you are tipping a whopping 50% per drink. The overall casino has an older feel to it but still fun. I've never stayed overnight but have heard that the rooms are adequate and it's a decent place to get that little bit of sleep you will need while in Vegas.

Was pleasantly surprised by the Flamingo. Although I still can't get the smell of the casino out of my lungs, the rooms were fairly impressive.
The biggest issue we had when staying here was the elevators. The wait for them was just unbelievable. One time my wife left her purse in the room and I went back for it. Literally waited over 30 minutes for an elevator to come down.
In fact, tell a lie, the biggest issue was that we updated to a better room and they also said we would get an earlier check in. We actually weren't able to get into our room until 5pm! Little bit annoying after paying the extra. The room was definitely a lot nice than the older tower. It was just a bit irritating to pay extra for the room and to be shorted by an hour for our stay. Think it made it a bit more annoying that we arrived at 11:30 and noticed there were people getting the keys to there rooms then!
Other than that, rooms were fantastic. But due to the check in experience, probably wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

We stayed in a double queen strip view room. The room was gorgeous, the view was great. The beds were so-so. There are two great things about this hotel: (1) the location on the strip. It's the best and most convenient. (2) the location of the amenities inside the hotel. Food and coffee are easy to find and the lines are manageable. The bad? All pool related. We went to Flamingo for the swimming pool. If you've got kids, it's a joke. The large pool with the waterfall is reserved for adults only. We didn't know that if you have kids, you're relegated to a tiny pool. And, the water slide doesn't open until noon, so if you've paid for a 1pm checkout, you don't get much time on the slides. So, just know before you go!

I loved the pool!! Me and my husband got a Day-Bed there and it was a fantastic idea... I got good price ($67) because we reserved around 2 months before our trip. Normally they are over $100. Then you have to expend 50 minimum so we got a bucket of 6 beers.

Rooms are clean & modern in appearance. AC works well in the scorching Vegas heat (my room was facing west & 110°+ during stay). Layout & maneuvering the hotel lobby is simple and easy. Food court is great, convenient, & not overpriced for a quick bite to eat (Burgers, Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Pizza). Only issue with the room was lack of power plugs...nothing easily accessible on the wall with the bed & a few outlets on the opposite wall. Also not a fan of paid Valet or Self Parking.

The hotel itself is fine, but nothing to write home about (location is the best part). Perfect place to stay if you don't want to spend too much and be right on the strip. The hotel is in a good location. The only problem was the quality of the hotel. We we're in the "Habit" side of the hotel. The elevators were so slow that some people would wait for 20 minutes to get down. Also most of the level we stayed at smelled like weed. The room was a little run down, definitely needs to be updated.

Beautiful hotel & casino! The entire place is always very clean and has a nice floral fragrance throughout. The beds are absolutely comfortable and the rooms have amazing views! The staff is very friendly and I always love staying here for many reasons.

On another note, I have stayed here many times before and have NEVER had to pay for valet parking. Upon leaving, I was hit with a $50+ parking bill. It would have been nice if we were informed about this change prior to check-in. Like I've said, parking used to be complimentary for total rewards members.

The Flamingo is one of the classic resorts in Las Vegas. There is an old school vibe to the place and it is in a fantastic location on the Strip. In our last time there we saw a show and we enjoyed it a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a great time winning some money at the slots! The only thing I would ask to improve is putting more signs for where to find things like the monorail. They could also update their ventalation system to clean our more of the cigarette smoke from the casino.

Prime location and a great value. I always receive great service from the staff.

Rooms are decently sized and well maintained for the most part. Usually they are a decent value but sometimes creep up significantly for fight weekends and other major events.

The brunch buffet is a good value and the lines aren't too long if you can make it earlier in the morning. The rest of site itself has a decent variety of food and gambling in the low to mid range price point. The steakhouse has some tasty offerings and a great wait staff if you want something nicer on premise. We were a little disappointed that some of the other patrons showed up in shorts, t shirts, and flip flops when the setting and offerings demanded better attire at the steakhouse.

The location is the best part. The site itself is decent value but if you want to go out for a more extravagant experience you are an easy walking distance to several of the top restaurants and clubs. Great way to keep things on a budget if your striving to balance a little of the "high Life" with affordability.

Stayed here a few times now. The suites are really nice. The basic rooms are pretty basic in decor. Best part is the location. Right in the centre of the strip and it has a monorail station out back. Perfect place to stay if you have a convention at the Las Vegas convention centre.

Flamingo is a huge hotel and also a great place to stay at. The room me and my friend shared was the basic one (if I remember correctly) which was fine.

Since we were in Vegas for only 24 hours I was glad we stayed at this hotel. It is easy to get around in the city to other hotels, casinos, shopping areas and more. I felt that we were in the center of everything.

To check out of the hotel was easy, by doing it yourself through a computer in the lobby. We only had a few minutes to check out, so skipping a line and doing it yourself was great and time sparing. I would definitely stay here again :)

Great value for money. Has just been refurbished so room was in great condition. One of the best casino and lobby areas we checked out. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the people in the room beside us even when they were whispering. Our room was as far away from the lifts as possible, and the lifts took a long time to come, they were quite frightening. There was no mini bar or fridge in the room which was highly disappointing. There was a power outage at breakfast, power was out for over an hour and everything was closed other than the pokies. We couldn't use the pool, eat breakfast or use the lifts for our tower. Other than that, bars were excellent and great location.

We stayed at this hotel 4 days. The room was very outdated, with scuffed up furniture. When we first got into the room, nothing was plugged in except for the television. The room was empty compared to other hotel rooms. Did not include a microwave or a small refrigerator. The bathroom was really small, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom, so if you took a hot shower you felt like you were suffocating. Housekeepers were very pushy, and didn't wait until you responded before opening the door themselves. The brunch buffet was OK at best with the exception of the endless mimosas and the omelette station. Only convenience was the hotel was on the strip so the walk wasn't as bad as it would've been coming from other places. Offered a lot of eating options outside of the hotel. Although I gave the hotel 3 starts probably wouldn't stay at this location again because at the rate which I paid, I was highly disappointed in the presentation and the quality of the room. If you're going to spend majority of your time in the room, I'd suggest booking elsewhere and get more bang for your buck because between the resort fee and sketchy wifi and $200 deposit you'd be better off somewhere else.

Overall, it was fine.
Had a GO room with a High Roller view, got a good deal on it and it was comfy with a small refrigerator that you can put snacks and water. Toiletries were sufficient.
The only knocks on the room were that the room climate controls did not really work well, felt stuffy in the room the whole time we were there and despite lowering the temp on the controls, it didn't really do much.
Also at peak times of the day, there is noticeably less water pressure. A couple of knobs on the shower are pretty useless. The property needs to have more dining options, a lot of places just looked slapped together.
I used the kiosk to checkin and had no problems...used online to check out.
That was a definite plus to bypass the main queue. I probably would not stay here again because of the climate controls not working.

Went in May 2016 returning May 2017. Great for the price for being on the strip. Almost everything was within walking distance or a $5-10 dollar Uber ride (much cheaper than the taxi's there). The pool atmosphere is awesome but very crowded. You'll have to fight your 8am hangover and get out there to secure a spot. Rooms and hotel were overall very nice considering price and age of the hotel. Highly recommend, hit us up if you're traveling there May 11-14!

I stayed here one night pre super bowl weekend and loved it. The room was updated since I stayed here last and had a nice, upscale feel while maintaining the nostalgia the hotel has to offer.

I booked and stayed in a "2 Queen High Roller View" room. The bathroom was huge and had a full walk in shower with a separate tub. The water pressure was terrible. I also noticed there was no hook or towel bar near the shower to hang the towel on -- just a minor detail.

The beds were a little too firm in my opinion, but I didn't have a problem with them for one night. The pillows need to be updated to the same standards as the rest of the room -- higher standards that is.

I loved the hotel's atmosphere, casino, and their food court. I would recommend staying here when on a budget at their low week night rates. The room is very nice for the price. Keep in mind, this hotel does charge a resort fee too just as most Vegas hotels do these days. Overall, this is a great location on the strip and a good value at their week night prices.

Have been to Vegas I cannot remember how many times and had never set foot inside prior to staying there. I was pleasantly surprised and would stay there again. Rooms are better than Harrahs and it's center strip. The casino is small but good enough. It's an older hotel but not neglected.

Cons
*They didn't explain there was an extra $50.00 hold per night on top of regular cost and resort fees. I asked specifically for any other extra charges or cost before hand and was told no. I like to be prepared and not lied too.
*You could hear everything through the thin walls, every toilet use, everyone talking in hall very clearly, things in the next room (very well)
*a/c wasn't working
*Leeky faucets
*outdated and does need maintenance (just stating cause that's true to other reviews)
*price per night was too high for the room

Pros
*The beds we're nice
*big are rooms
*great strip view
*Employees were nice
*Fast check out
*Middle of strip

I was expecting this hotel to be a little nicer than it was. I can understand cheap hotels and you get what you pay for, but not wanting to pay higher prices for cheap rooms. The rest of the casino was just fine.

My cab driver from the airport spoke fondly of the Flamingo hotel as part of the old Las Vegas that so many natives wish to preserve (original flashing neon signs, mirrors on the walls, decadent gold trim every which way, etc.). While the outside of the hotel certainly embodies a Vegas that once was, inside, the vintage aesthetic of the Flamingo is confined to the facilities on the first floor. The rooms are simple and don't bare any resemblance to the theme of the hotel. You could have confused them with a room from any Holiday Inn across the country. I had an underwhelming view of a the roof of a section of the hotel lobby. Just about everything smells like smoke, although the same can be said about most places in Vegas. I will say that I enjoyed the Flamingo garden, and the buffet at breakfast wasn't half bad. Overall, nothing really special about it except it's on a nice section of the strip within walking distance of nicer hotels and casinos.

Great hotel, in the center of the Vegas strip. It's one of the cheapest hotels without going off the strip or to one end of the strip. We always had some nice bonuses while staying here (cheap tickets to shows, dinner coupons, etc.) and have been happy with them. The hotel is one of the oldest and though it's been rebuilt the interior does show it's age. But if you're travelling on a budget or just don't care about the room and here for the entertainment then this is the place to be.

Stayed one night to discover Las Vegas. Got a room for 4 people at the Flamingo just to have somewhere to sleep basically. Hotel room was clean and nice, but not luxurious in any way.

Cons:
- Toilet didn't work when we arrived. Went down to the concierge desk and they said they would send someone up. We had to make due and get ready to go out and they said it would be fixed within an hour. However when we came back later to sleep they still hadn't fixed it. No further communication from management that they had even attempted to fix it.
- Couldn't use the pool as it had closed for the season. Couldn't use the gym either since it closed at 7 pm.
- Casino floor wasn't anything special, boring compared to many other casinos on the strip.

Pros:
+ The Flamingo was conveniently located on the strip so we could walk everywhere when discovering the rest.
+ Brunch buffet was really good.
+ Self service check in worked well.

Summary:
= Good for people/groups who just want to sleep there while exploring the strip and don't really expect anything more than a bed.

The Flamingo is a sentimental favorite of mine. I stayed there when I got married, so every time I'm in Vegas I make it a point to stop in and have a visit. I just love that vanilla smell and fresh air that permeates the Flamingo.

The casino where really cool. Staff members also helpful when you need something and smiling. The hotel is one of the cheapest but the rooms are really great. The view was good. Two things where disappointed. There was a closed door between our chamber and another one also we could ear everything as it was on our room. And the second one is that there is no hand soap, no shower gel. It was the first time I didn't have them. This explains why I set 4 stars instead 5.thanks for the trip anyway. Next time I come back to Las Vegas I will book again at the Flamingo.

If you're not spending a lot of time in the room, then this place will do. There was a lack of power outlets in the room, which is tough in today's world of electronic devices and multiple people in the room.

It's located right on the strip, so you can quickly walk to some of the most popular venues. The casino turns into somewhat of a club on the weekend. That's fun if you're into that sort of thing.

The pool was completely bro'd out with (beach) balls flying around. It was entertaining.

This was the second time staying at the Flamingo. As expected we had a great time. Both times we have stayed our rooms had an incredible view and were very clean. The casino has a great assortment of slots and table games. It is ridiculous to see the reviews that are negative because of loud guests. It's Vegas people, the hotel can't control the guests behavior. This hotel is top notch especially for the reasonable rates. We love it and will stay here again next year!!

We were checked into room 6069 on the 6th floor of the lobby tower. We were quite disappointed since we had booked a "deluxe" room. The room had never been updated. Furniture was old and chipped. View was non-existent. Amenities were lacking. Not what we wanted after planning a Vegas vacation. The next day we upgraded our room, at our expense, to the Spa Tower, This was a beautiful room with a gorgeous view and all modern amenities. Just what we wanted. The staff was very cooperative and helpful, especially front desk who took care of the room transfer. Check out your room before you unpack.

Flamingo is a great hotel, resort, casino, spa, and club. It is always good to stay a night to experience the wellbeing on this enterprise. The staff is really nice as long as you keep it tight with the organization. The room service is on time once it comes to cleaning up, and switching up towels in the bathroom of the hotel room. I have to give this hotel a good star rate for the great time I spent with my friends. We were a group of 20 so it's always easy to spend a good time when you are with great people all around the place. All deals are decent just because you go up with a big group, and parties take advantage on that with enormous discounts. I will definitely come back to this place to be honest with you all now. If you are staying there for business, parties, gambling; then I will tell you something reviewers, this is a 4 stars place to stay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
