A little far outside of the city centre. 10 minute walk to train station then 15 minutes on train. Nice hotel but layout is odd. The shower and toilet in the room are too intimate even for married couples. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite good by continental standards.

Sleek modern Bubble hotel - a bit far from old town, but in a beautiful open area surrounded by green meadows and canals. Serene and quiet, with beautiful panoramic views. Hotel provides a shuttle which can take you to subway station: it takes 10 minutes to get to Amsterdam terminal. We actually preferred to walk. Hotel has a restaurant on it's top floor - wonderful. Stuff was very friendly.

Plush looking hotel, but not so plush when your inside. A lot of dust was noticed👎🏾. The picture that they advertise with the shower in the middle has clear glass, in the rooms the glass is partly frosted.👎🏾 plastic disposalbe cups to drink from👎🏾
One of the towels had a hole in it👎🏾. A pillow had a stain on it👎🏾. The bed was 2 mattresses put together they kept separating and were very very soft👎🏾 not a good night sleep. Now for the positive. The breakfast restaurant was very good. A good option of food freash baked bread and very helpful staff.👍🏽

Very nice hotel when I just look at the room and the view outside. There was a great view and overall good food and drinks at the restaurant. Now couple of problems,

1. No kettle to make boiled water, only coffee maker. Apparently people do not drink tea anymore.
2. No mugs but paper cups !! So even if you use the hot water from tap, it goes cold within 2 seconds in that cup.

Other than that it's a great place to stay but the nearest public transport is almost 15 min walk.

To start with the good ones:
+ Good breakfast
+ big room

Major issues (Know it before you book)
-- You can literally hear everything going on in the bathroom. There are gaps to look in the bathroom. Not ideal, if you stay with 2 people.
-- Dirty hotel and room

Minor, but annoying issues:
- No refill of souap boxes
- No cleaning of the room overnight or trash cleaning. My dirty paper glasses stood there for 3 days.
- No place / holder for wet towels
- No board in the shower to put your stuff
- Shower spreads all over the room

Good restaurant with beautiful sunset views. Our stay here was very comfortable and the rooms are equipped with air condition (quite rare for the Netherlands).

Good hotel, food is great, bar staff also. Main reason for 3 * dust was found on table in the room and mainly on all of the items, it seemed that either the room has not been used for 2 months and dust is sitting everywhere. Room service - could be improved.

The Fletcher Amsterdam is in the corner of two highways, the A2 and the A9, in Amsterdam South-East, where also the Arena and Ziggo Dome are. It is just a bit more than walking distance to these, depending of course on how much you like to walk - 40 minutes to the Ziggo dome. Parking at the Fletcher is free so a good place to go to by car. The Fletcher has a nice upscale "Pi in the Sky" bar and restaurant which is also a bit of a party location in the weekend. Rooms are modern, with a small circular shower inside the living area. Main drawback for me was that the room temperature was too high at 22 degrees and the aircon could not get it lower than that.

5 km away from Amsterdam arena, nice rooms at first sight but shower in the middle of the room becomes weird after first amusement pass. Restaurant offer is pretty expensive since meals are very small. At least they are very tasty, however one should consider Sizzling Wok 50m away with all-you-can-eat option for ca. 20euros.

While the design of the rooms is tremendous, the rest was a little lackluster. Toilet door/enclosure was really clunky and amplified any sound, sink was messy. Key card required for every bit of electricity in the room including A/C, so if you're out for sunny day you'd come back to a walk-in oven.

A bit dangerous even was that, as we experienced during the May '18 Amsterdam power outage, there was no emergency lighting on the floors and in the stairwells. Or maybe there was, but for a too short amount of time, in the morning you'd find people lighting their way with smartphones.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

The hotel and the restaurant are very good and have some special characteristics. Everything is well taken care of. Staff is friendly. The location is not great though. It is not too far from Amsterdam center, but public transport to/from this hotel is challenging.

Avarege hotel to stay a single night. I got here and the sheets was not changed and there was only dirty 1 towel, as if the room was not clean before I checked in. The room is on a good size for 2 people, as I'm here with my wife. The staff tough, is really polite and respectful. The bar is a great place.

This review regards the bar area. Nice ambience, but the music sometimes does not fit the atmosphere or can be too loud. Service seems a bit chaotic at times. Furthermore a nice place to chill with a nice view.

We paid for an executive room and when checking in at 3pm was told the room wasn't ready but people with standard rooms were getting their keys and going up to their rooms, only one bath robe and when I asked about the missing one I was told they had run out and offered more towels (why advertise executive rooms with bath robes if you don't have enough?). When checking out I asked when the next shuttle to the station was and told an hour and a half wait....not good customer service really. We did enjoy our stay was nice and relaxing and the room was lovely and quiet but definitely room for improvement

Loved the hotel, the staff, the location, everything. Wish I could spend the rest of my life living in hotels. ;) Only negative thing I have to say about this place is that room service is overpriced. Wanted to spend some nice time with my girlfriend and we decided to indulge ourselves. Would go again and would recommend anyone interested in staying outside Amsterdam to try this place.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel for a 4 days stay in Amsterdam. My only minus is that it is a bit far from the center as you need to take the tube, but the hotel itself has an amazing arrangement in the rooms, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are also very clean and room service quick and helpful. I had a wonderful stay thank you!

I am staying at the hotel for New year (2 nights) In one of the Executive rooms. The room is clean and the view is nice. The room is small and the only thing special is the shower in the room. Also the Toilet door can not be closed completely so be ready to feel extremely awkward while taking a *** .That‘s why the 2 stars. Now what really annoyed me about this hotel is the service. Especially the restaurant. The food is mediocre, I orderd the hamburger for lunch and it had no taste, no salt or pepper. It made me regret not going to the KFC across the street to get a burger that would have been not only cheaper but also more Delicious compared to the burger here. There is just one person working in the service at the restaurant, which is just poor Service provided by the hotel. I actually had to stand up 2 times and run after the guy from the Service to order some drinks. Not staying here again. There are better hotels in this price range in Amsterdam.

It has a shower in the middle and a bit far from the city centre. But friendly staff and nice veiw, what can I say? Just go there if you are in a couple or a 1 night stand.

Nice hotel with futuristic design. Stayed there on a business trip. Friendly staff all around. Shower compartment is not separated from the bedroom (just a big glass cylinder) so if, unlike me, you are traveling alone that might be an issue. 12min walking from Holendrecht metro station.

Very cool, cylindrical hotel. Everything is very stylish and themed. Shower in living room was a clever way to save space, though perhaps awkward if travelling with a friend. Sky bar was a little pricey but a good experience. Friendly staff and an overall excellent experience.

The tube-shaped hotel is in a good location: Amsterdam outskirts, only 20 minutes drive to the city center. The hotel is aesthetically exciting without being tacky. We stayed on the 11th floor in two rooms for 2 nights. It is a lovely and modern hotel and the customer service was great. The rooms are reasonable-sized, clean and coolly modern. Like most hotels, rooms are cleaned once a day and this is when you get all the room service you would get for the day (although the reception will still try to attend to your needs). The room is sound-proof, bed and pillows are soft but the negative side is that the beds are two singles so if you are a couple make sure you ask for double. There is no fridge in the room which is another minus. A cool feature is the shower in the middle of the room, however it means you have no privacy if you share the room with your children, for instance.
Breakfast costs €18 for adults and €9 for children. There are fast food/ restaurants opposite the hotel including Burger king, KFC, Wok Express etc. There is a hospital nearby, around 15 minutes walk away and the train station and shops are 20 minutes walk, however they are a quick drive. I'll use the hotel again ♡

It's a good place to stay though it is a little out of the city. The train/tram station is about 15mins from the hotel but offers direct connections to Amsterdam central station and Amsterdam sloterdijk among others. There is a KFC and burger king right across the road. The rooms are spacious and well kept thought the shower is in glass in the middle of the room!

Lesser known hotel, although it is quite visible for may people commuting from Amsterdam as it is right next to the A2 and A9 highways. Quite far from the center considering all things. But great to meet up with clients because of the view from the top floors (where the restaurant and bar are).

Conveniently located at the A2-A9 motorway intersection at the outskirts of Amsterdam. It is easy to travel with the metro to the centre, or by car to the rest of the Netherlands. The hotel is designed as a standing cylinder. The restaurant and bar are at the top and grant a good view over the surroundings of Amsterdam. Since Amsterdam has not much high-rise, the skyline is not very special. The rooms are shaped like a very big piece of a cake. They have a big panaroma window, a cylindrical glass shower in the middle (shower with a view of you like and dare). The rooms are not particularly large and the ventilation of the shower might be a nuisance if you are sensitive to such noise. The restaurant is modern and classy. If you're hungry, you might enjoy a snack at the lounge more.

The shower was clogged and the water filled the whole room so they moved us to a another room. Bathroom light was switching off automatically too quickly, the region quite dead ... there's nothing practical around but eating at KFC...And the good things: The clean room, And a transparent shower in the middle of the room - amazing. !amazing scenery and comfortable beds ... very.

I stayes for 2 nights in the Fletcher. They rooms are very modern if not a little odd, there is not much privacy so dont get a double if your staying with a friend unless you want to see them in their birthday suite! The design alone is worth the trip but the restroom walls are paper-thin. Also, think twice if you're on foot, expect 15min trips back from the nearest station that gets you to and from Centraal Station (they do offer a shuttle during business hours). Quite enjoyable over all.

The Fletcher Hotel is a modern, well designed hotel. The building is tall and round and the rooms reflect this. The shower is circular, with a transparent cubicle, the floor adjacent to the shower and around the toilet area and washhand basin is water proof and the rest of the room is carpeted. If you're at all shy then the shower may be an issue. The toilet is enclosed in frosted glass and is reasonably spacious. There is a Philips Senseo Coffee machine in the room which can be daunting to use, but in reality is simple and makes a good cup of fresh coffee from ground beans encased in something similar to a tea bag. There are toiletries in the room as well as a hair dryer in side the ward robe which is large. The bed was two twins with memory foam mattress toppers and extremely comfortable.

If you get the chance, eat in the hotel at the Pi Resturant at the top of the hotel. The food here was exceptional, well presented and extremely tasty. It can be a bit pricey but I think that it is worth it.

I enjoyed my stay here of two nights and I have just booked to stay again.

By departure they demanded additional 9EUR "Tax & Handling Fee" not mentioned before (by the reservation). I consider such hidden costs as cheating no matter of amount.
There is no description how to use this extravagant shower. I felt stupid standing naked in the middle of the room and expecting cold rain. Luckily nothing like that happened.
After taking a shower I found large pool of water in the room. The cabin is leaking.
I have spent there only 2 days, so I didn't bother to report it.
The ventilation system is a bit noisy for me. I failed to switch it off.
Good point is the coffee machine in the room (no description as well) - you can have free coffee every morning.
The room is spacious (you only have to watch the wet floor/carpet).
It is clean and tidy. They change towels every day.
Luckily the WC is not transparent.
