What a well managed Marriott property! We enjoyed the well maintained king room and friendly staff here! Special thanks to helpful and informed front desk staff and Patricia, restaurant person who greeted us and attended to our coffee/tea needs. These are the small, big thing that make all the difference. Kudos to maintenance staff who salted the black ice in the back parking area! We recommend this establishment!

This place was absolutely the best ever. I cant remember the last time I've had excellent Guest Services. Marcelo was so friendly giving me a smile and above and beyond service from when i checked in and when i checked out. The hotel is in a good location walking distance from downtown. Really clean and comfortable. Must definitely would go back.

Not bad. Not great. Good location. Rooms and hotel itself are dated. Staff is friendly. Had a room on the highway side so kind of noisy. Would I stay again? No. Definitely a solid 3 of 5.

8

Great location and walkable. Awesome bar staff and hotel staff. Room was a basic level of clean but was not aesthetically pleasing or bright which made it feel dirty. I know that’s weird, but what the room looks like makes a difference in your perspective of it. It didn’t match how beautiful other aspects of the hotel are. Can’t complain too much because the price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and we weren’t planning on spending all day in a hotel room.

I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton In Asheville Aug 9-11. Check in was very quick and easy. They offered us bottles of water during check in. They also have free fruit infused water in the lobby. Parking is free as well. This hotel is less than a mile from pretty much anything cool about downtown Asheville. Restaurants, bars and cool shops are all within walking distance. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel was quiet, so you will get a great night’s sleep. The service was amazing. We called down for extra towels and I swear it took like 3 minutes and someone was at the door. Each room has mini fridge and microwave in it. They also had free toiletries such as soap. Lotion, shampoo and mouthwash. Great hotel, in a great location!

The hotel was overall a nice place. The Rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The best reason to stay here is the location. It is in walking distance to amazing places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

We love this hotel! Recently our client Justin Wells stayed here while performing in downtown Asheville and they loved it so much they were quick to tell us about how awesome the staff was, and the huge comfortable bedroom! Typically our clients don't get much time to truly enjoy a hotel so the little things are sometimes the most important, this hotel has them in mind. On site restaurant, coffeemakers, quiet rooms, free parking, and a fitness center, make this place perfect for an overnight or a week depending on your schedule! Thank you for everything, and we look forward to staying with you again soon!

The Four Points Sheraton in Asheville has everything one could ask for in a hotel in Asheville: Cleanliness, Amenities, and last but not least, location.

First, cleanliness. This is among the cleanest and best put together hotel rooms I’ve ever been in and I travel an awful lot. The beds are comfortable, the towels are quality and there are plenty of them, and the floors and areas are spotless.

Next, amenities. Quality workout room for a hotel its size, and the room had an above-average selection of kitchen supplies.

Finally, LOCATION! This hotel is located directly off the highway and walking distance to downtown Asheville. I didn’t need my car my entire stay, and when it was time to leave I hopped right back on the highway. It’d be tough to beat this location.

On top of all that the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. I would stay here again and recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Decent hotel near downtown Asheville. Rooms were clean and acceptable. Staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant didn't quite live up to the $25 bill for two. It was more equivalent to a free continental breakfast but none the less it was edible. If you're looking for an affordable hotel in town this is a good choice.

I had a great weekend at this hotel. It's close to everything you'd wanna see or do downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. Every member of the staff that I met, they were all pleasant and helpful. There's a pool which is nice in these hot summer months. I didn't take advantage of it, but this hotel tries to promote going green by offering $5 vouchers to local businesses or hotel points if you opt out of housekeeping... so reuse your towels and help save some water and you may be rewarded. I liked that idea a lot. I'm definitely staying at this hotel whenever I make it back to Asheville.

I had to stay here multiple times due to location to the police department downtown. The service provided to me by Jessica was world class. She smiled, looked me in the eyes, laughed at my dumb ass jokes, really made me feel welcomed. I couldn't ask for more!

Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. However, the coffee tasted like cardboard. Also, the menu in my bedroom said they offered room service. I picked up the phone and called room service which rang with no response for minutes. Finally i called the front desk, only to be informed that the receptionist was unsure and perceded to place me on hold for another 5 min and then hung up. When I called a third time, I was informed room service was no longer a service they offer. Instead, they have replaced it with a pick up/2go type deal. Not that big of a deal but I'd rather not eat out of Styrofoam 2go boxes. And it took way to long to get an answer from these people.

Good place other than the dried blood we found all over one of the pillows the next morning! And the fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night with nobody coming to explain to everyone in the hallway what was going on. Best part was the AWESOME water pressure in the 🚿 shower

The rooms were clean and stylish. The location is great with dozens of craft cocktail bars and restaurants within walking distance. It's far more affordable than comparable hotels despite it having better accommodations such as free parking.

8

There are fancier hotels in Asheville, but they'll cost you way more per night. Some other reviewers didn't like how close it was to the highway, but it's not a problem. My room faced the highway and I didn't notice any noise. And the location is still close enough to downtown that you can walk anywhere you want to go. The rooms are clean and in good shape, the staff was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for amazing views and pampering, prepare you bank account for a big hit and go somewhere else. If you'd rather save your money for all the amazing food, cocktails, and craft beer Asheville has to offer, then this is a great hotel. We used to always stay in a high end hotel in the middle of downtown when we came to Asheville, but after staying here for the weekend it's safe to say we'll stay here again and use the savings at the bars and restaurants.

8

Decent hotel, especially if you're on a budget. The gym is small, but you can get a good workout in if that's what you need. The staff is super friendly. It was an anniversary weekend in Asheville for my husband and I. We decided to get a cheaper hotel so we could spend more on eating all the bomb noms around town. The staff picked up these amazing cupcakes from a local bakery and had them in our room for us when we arrived. Talk about service... the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the rooms are "meh", typical hotel rooms, felt a little old, but totally what we expected.

Location was not bad, just about two blocks from everything good. The place it's self looks pretty nice, and is very clean. The rooms are very nice and clean, but just a little dated. The staff was very friendly and kind, giving suggestions on activities and reccomending some great restaurants. As soon as we checked in, our room key did work, they helped us immediately and then called to check on us a few minutes after settling into the room. Breakfast was pretty good, maybe a little overpriced, but convenient and worth it. Would defiantly stay again.

Location is favorable and an easy walk to downtown Asheville. Rooms are average to above average. Amenities and services are lacking compared to any recent hotel I've stayed at. It's a function of location versus hotel experience, unfortunately choose one.

Overall the hotel was nice; however, it really shows its age. The staff were all very friendly. It's very convenient to downtown and the highway. Probably wouldn't stay again, would like something more updated and cleaner.

Very nicely renovated. Haven't stay here in years and the last time it was a mess and out of date. Four Points is a very very nice place to spend s few evenings that is certainly located so you can walk most anywhere you need to go. In house restaurant if you don't care to get out. Rooms have coffee maker and mini refrigerator. I'll definitely stay again when in area. Wonderful and friendly staff too!

Great location close to downtown. Room is nice, includes t.v., microwave, plenty of amenities. Slightly expensive, and could use updating (elevator is ancient, room keys and readers are old and used, etc.). Overall a very nice place to stay for a few nights in Asheville.

Room looked nice, but felt old and smelled dank. Felt like dorm move in day when we got there, with a long hallway full of housekeeping carts, rollaways, old food. Good location near downtown. Nice front desk.

Staff was very accommodating. Called at 8pm so our family could get a quick rest before we headed out the next day. Room was clean, beds comfortable, linens were clean and fresh smelling. Not sure why I saw some really bad reviews. It's not the Ritz, but for a quick night's stay--perfect

The location was perfect. Cleanliness was top notch. Rooms, shower, breakfast, wifi, public areas were less than great. There's barely sweet shop type market in the hotel for snacks drinks etc. It was sorely missed when traveling with kids. But the location was perfect if you're going downtown.

My stay here at Four Points by Sheraton in Asheville was the best!!!! They have clean rooms and clean public guest areas not to mention the excellent customer service and professionalism from the employees. Nice size bathtub in the rooms with automatic body-wash,shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, which I thought was pretty cool!! The manager Stephen Foster went above and beyond to meet all of the needs my boyfriend and I needed for our stay (Thanks Again Stephen!!!) I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to any of my friends staying in Asheville!! Stephen Foster and the management and employees at Four Points by Sheraton in Asheville made our trip to Asheville 100% times better than it would have been staying at any other hotel!!! You can't find a better place to stay for the price and would still recommend Four Points if there was!!!

Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I've stayed here many times and have enjoyed every stay. This time I brought my cat. It was my first time traveling with a pet so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a great experience with an easy checkin. The room was lovely and didn't smell of animals. My only complaint was that at 9am they started hammering outside my door.
This hotel is so close to everything and a very quick walk to restaurants and shopping. Parking is great and the restaurant is good too. I just had a simple bowl of oatmeal but I've eaten bigger meals here before and they have been good.

Short walk to downtown and right off the interstate. Lobby had coffee in the morning and parking was easy. If you are looking for a basic, no frills hotel, then look here. Room was clean and everything worked. Internet was almost unusable due to speed.

6

The location is fantastic, but we were met with all manner of noises at night, so sleeping was a difficult proposition. Between the drunks, elevators, and loud climate system, we didn't get much sleep.

The rooms are clean enough, but I still found hairs on my comforter and some mystery liquid in the shower. The rooms are a bit dated, but do have a fridge in them.

Breakfast isn't free, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Downtown is only a few blocks away, so that is a massive plus.

My biggest complaints were from the noise. I wish the front desk would tell boisterous groups not to yell in the halls. I understand that people are in Asheville to enjoy themselves, but the hotel is here for you to sleep.

The staff was nice and the view of the mountains on the way there was beautiful. The parking lot was really a tight fit for any car and although some things in the hotel had been renovated, the hallway and room still smelled mildewed and kind of like pee. Other than the smell, everything was pretty clean!

10

The hotel was really easy to get to and conveniently located within walking distance to many great restaurants. We were only there for a short night but our room was clean and the front desk agent, Tera, that checked us in was very sweet and kind and super helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the smoking section is right out in front of the hotel across from where you check-in. In my opinion, this is still too close. Because as we checked in, we were still met with a stong smell/wind of smoke from guests.

Michelle Robson

6

The hotel was average. Upon checking in, we were given very little site info. We were not told where the pool was, let alone that it was out side. Luckily, the staff attending the pool let our kids jump in and out just a bit after 10 to avoid meltdowns! When we got settled in our room, we where immediately worried. We placed on the top floor with a wedding party block. A short phone call to the desk and we were on our way to another room. Gratefully, we were in bed by 12:30. After 2 days of driving 12+ hours, the hotel was average, but the customer service was above par!

This hotel has the friendless staff from the front desk to the restaurant. Clean property throughout. Pet friendly close to all that Asheville offers. 5 star service. Enjoying every minute in Asheville.
