We had many problems. The stuff was helpful. We waisted a Lot of time complaining.

We are a family with 3 children we asked for 2 adjoining rooms and got them with sea and bay views. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is located on the boardwalk. Parking is available at the hotel at a surcharge of EUR 16 per day.

I booked it as Astoria Grand Hotel but found it just by the chance ,no Reception on the building and it is without any Sign located next building on the street. Hotel building labeled as Continental , as well as in rooms there is no mention of Astoria Grand Hotel but just Grand hotel or Continental hotel. The room without window but a slot with a bar over the roofs, most pity there is no chance to close the light from but just put a bad sheet over ! On the key to the room no mention or pocket with the name of the hotel and address. I was sleeping bad because it is not a twin bad and so bad mattress with only one suitable pillow, 2 others just the bags with plastic balls :( Only is good is the breakfast ‘ So if you are not intended to sleep it is a good choice of the hotel !

We stayed at the Magnolia hotel, which is part of Amadria Park, but not up-to-par with their other hotels on the property (i.e. beware it is not the hotel you see in pictures on the website).

Excelent hotel with very kind personel. It's located very near to the beach with many shops and cafés and one cute little bakery around.

Good location near the centre of Opatija and beautifull coastal promenade called Lungomare. Nice comfy rooms, congress hall, spa and wellnes centre, pool. Food is ok, choice of fish, vegetables, fruit and desserts is ok. Staff is friendly and very kind, allways on service. Near and under the hotel there is big garage (costs about 15 euro per day) but if you know there is problem with parking in Opatija, this could be very important for carefree weekend break in this nice middleuropean and coastal town with the longest touristic tradition on Croatian part of Adriatic coast.

The free internet was between 3 & 5 Mbs. The paid version was around 20 Mbs.
There was no control of the heat once the bathroom heater was left on by a previous person. The bathroom heater shut off valve was small and hidden between the sink base and the wall. We left the window open all night to correct the situation.
The hotel is near some place that partied way too late. At around 2:00 someone pushed a steel wheeled trash container around for a while. It was too noisy.
The people were great.
The breakfast was OK.

Good hotel in Opatija, as usual. Hotel is close to many other city contents.

- some small renovations is nedeed like the carpet in corridors could be changed or in the rooms

2.5/5 Room I had was not 4 stars as stated. Faucet was broken and I was waiting for it to fall, there was visible mold in the bathroom, and this is the first hotel room I had to walk barefoot or in shoes as you don't even get those cheap hotel slippers (first time for me, maybe this is a common thing). Also, they charged the room twice, but that's another story. Location is nice, and so is the view...

I was there for a conference recently. Our rooms were spacious and clean with a breathtaking view of the Adriatic sunrise. The staff were excellent and go above and beyond to help you with absolutely anything you need. I particularly remember that when their kitchens were closed and I didn't have a proper meal because I was busy working, they helped me order food from another restaurant late at night. They helped me find alternative transportation for my flight from another airport. They organized an impromptu sightseeing trip in Plitvice before my conference started and did so much more. All these things may seem little, but bear in mind that I spoke no Croatian and would have been left to fend for myself. I would highly recommend this Hotel and will be sure to come back to explore more! Thank you Grand 4!

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Visit terrace with sea view and lobby bar for a drink. Hotel is on waterfront so use it for a walk on Lungo mate path.

Sono stata i questo Hotel ai primi di settembre e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta.Bello l'albergo, le stanze dall'arredo sobrio,il bagno pulito, aria condizionata.Sia il buffet della colazione,che quello della cena era ricchissimo e i cibi ottimi, il personale premuroso e solerte.Tutte le sere animazione e musica all'aperto. Ci tornerei subito!
