The are very clean rooms, i would suggest tho that you reserve your room on line it is $45 cheaper that away. Very courteous staff. Had a great experience in my stay here I will definitely be back.

We have been going here for years. For this particular event it was for an 80th birthday celebration. The staff and the facility always are top shelf we will definitely be back again.

This hotel is actually very nice and you can tell immediately upon walking through the front entrance. Great service and awesome rooms. Saw a local band playing tonight at their bar inside. Great music and fun, laid back atmosphere.

Stayed here in passing cross country for a night during the pandemic. Hotel is clean and staff was polite and helpful. Nice place with comfortable accommodations. For Covid19, they seemed to make everyone comfortable at their own pace for what they are willing to do as individuals. Kitchen was open and food was good! Would stay here again.

Nice clean hotel. Convenient if you are traveling with your dog. There is a good, long sidewalk right outside the hotel for walks. Good coffee and pastries across the street at Octopus coffee. We've stayed here more than once and would go back again.

Love the grand vista, always stay here when flying out early the next morning. Free airport shuttle and free parking while you are out of town. Rooms are nice and the bar downstairs has good food and is lively every night of the week!

This is an older hotel and it shows. I usually stay here anytime I'm in Grand Junction. The rates are usually reasonable, but do tend to increase when there are big events going on in the area, like the Palisade Peach Festival.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms have a microwave, a mini fridge, and a single- brew coffee maker. The hotel has a restaurant and bar and an outdoor patio area. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a decent hotel, but it desperately needs renovation.

Great place to stay. Quiet so you can get great rest. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very nice and helpful, if you forget anything they have free replacement items available at the front desk. They are so accommodating it is a great customer service quality! Thank you for a great experience!!

I would say okay is the best this place gets. Not very clean and "under construction" seems to mean a lot of things are broken/ out of order and appears to have been for a long time. Our "no smoking" room smelled a lot like smoke. The pool isn't bad but the fitness center has almost nothing in it and looks like a converted closet. Just seems like the price is way over the value of this place.

Very happy with our stay. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Staff were very accommodating, especially Sylvia at the front desk who straightened out the mess our third party booking agency created. She truly went above and beyond to help us.

Would definitely stay here again

This place needs updating! We got upgraded to a "suit" but it was just a larger room with too much distance to the smallish TV by today's standards.
Most if the outlets didn't work and those that did we're overloaded as you can see from the photo. I didn't even think that things like this were legal in hotels.
Cleanliness was not top on their list. It wasn't as bad as some but I didn't feel safe sitting in there easy chair.

This is the only hotel we stay at when we come to Grand Junction! We stay about 15 times a year here and love it. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, love the indoor pool and the prices. Best hotel in junction for the price.

My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very polite and the hotel has good curb appeal. I would have given 5 stars except for the soap was the smallest soap I have seen, there was only 1 coffee, and 1 coffee creamer, and the breakfast buffet (after you buy your ticket $9.00) does not include bacon or sausage that's an extra you an order from the regular meal. Also the 1 if the 2 elevators was broke down. In all I would stay again.

Perfect for our short stay. Room was very nice the bed was excellent and my wife said that's first time you haven't snored for a long time. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing that keeps it from a five-star visit is the shower head.

Very accommodating, has mini fridge and microwave and I could bring both of my dogs with me. Basically the size of a studio apartment and we slept in a king size bed and it was just my dogs and husband. I loved it here, will definitely recommend.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay. The employees were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The prices were very good.

The decor is dated, and I don't care. I only want a good bed, clean sheets, and strong shower.

Great stay! Staff was courteous. Room was clean. Pool was comfy. For the least expensive hotel in Grand Junction, it was very impressive. Only issue was being able to hear conversations outside our door as if they were standing in the room.

We got this hotel room as a deal through hotwire. And very glad I didn't pay full price. They are obviously getting some very needed renovations, but there problem wasn't the inconvenience on the construction. The problem was that upon arriving to our room, the bathroom had human feces on the toilet, in the shape of a butt crack none the less... Then looked lower and there was brown, assuming more feces on the bottom of the toilet under the seat. There was also hair stuck to the bathroom wall and in the bath tub. I was appalled. Since they obviously don't know how to clean, we cleaned it up ourselves to make sure it wasn't just spread with water and a rag. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels as we travel quite a bit, often getting deals, it should not be a reason to slack on cleanliness, this is a infection control issue. The room itself was nice, as I mentioned, they are renovating. The hot tub did not have working jets, but it appeared clean. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here because of the cleanliness of our room. It was just disgusting. I do hope this improves.

What a nice place. I'm a Marriott frequent traveler and there's one next door, but Grand Vista was less expensive and had everything I wanted. Rooms were very clean and nice, well equipped; staff was polite and helpful; bar and restaurant very nice. If you are on a short stop through the airport coming or going it's walking distance or they will pick you up and drop you off. A good deal!

Visited Bailey's for Taco Tuesday and listened to live music. The taco bar is free with a 2 drink minimum (there is also an option to pay a set price for the tacos if you don't want to drink). Tacos were delicious and the music was great.

The walls are thin so it was a little noisy in the am and woke me up a few times. It should be known to not talk in the halls. Go outside or back into your room. But that's not the hotels fault. The rooms were clean and bed cozy. Tub was weird and a little old. But other wise a lovely place. Food at bar was good but service was very slow. But it was super busy so totally understandable.

This hotel is that rule you get what you pay for.

I have always been confused by the hotel rating model this hotel that I would say it is 2.5 to 3.0 hotel is listed as a 4.0 hotel. This is not a bad hotel, staff is amazing, just that the amenity's do not reflect the 4.0.

It is freeway close and airport close.

My stay was ten days, and the hotel had no washing machine, this made my life a bit difficult. Ironically the cheaper hotel across the way did have washing machines and included a free breakfast.

Would I say here again.. I am not sure, the cost was cheap but so was the hotel.

Good price. Clean rooms. Vegetarian breakfast buffet is an additional 10.95. If you like bacon you may want to order off the menu. Caution there are no bath mats. Tub extrermly slippery. I did fall, I did get a little bangeg up. I did let front desk know. Front desk lady blew me off and said non of the rooms had them. And sent me on my way. But not bad for the price.

Grand Vista is our regular "get away from the kids for a night" hotel and it does the job very well. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the hot tub portion of the pool is always hot. There is a bar, and room service available as well. Given the location the Grand Vista makes an excellent affordable option whether you are arriving by plane or coming off I-70. There is also a business center and fitness center that is more than serviceable. If you're local catering services are available.

Nice and decent stay near by I70. Rooms are of good size and some nice view to mountains. Only problem is instead of two queen they have two full bed (not clear on their booking details). So with kids its bit tight.
Breakfast was also good and have buffet with additional charges for kids above 6yr. We had 2 adult breakfast pass included in booking.

We just stayed 1 night. The staff from the front desk and the restaurant Bailey's were very friendly! There was karaoke happening the Friday we were there, it was busy and people seemed to be enjoying it very much. I thought the food from Bailey's was a bit expensive for pretty average flavors, but it was convenient right by the lobby. My kiddos enjoyed the pool, although it is on the smaller side. On the negative side, you can tell the place needs some updating and maintenance is lacking. The wallpaper in our room was bubbling and the shower curtain was old and tearing. The price of our room made the dated, scratched furniture bearable, but seems other items could be taken care of. Things were clean though and the sheets were soft and smelled fresh.
If we need to stay in GJ again in a room for less than 100 bucks, we would come back.
Oh and although we did not bring our dog, it was really cute to see dogs in the lobby and riding up the elevator!

First impressions are kind of dark and dated. The rooms are ample, but not what I would consider spacious. I had to move the nightstand to access an electrical outlet to plug in my charger for my phone. There is an attached restaurant that has breakfast I don't recall the exact price, maybe $11? It's a full buffet and the quality is actually pretty darn good for a hotel restaurant. Can't speak to the area around the hotel as far as restaurants and feeling safe as I was only there a short time and didn't get out.

Overall clean but the decor and carpet is a little dated and definitely ready for an upgrade. Smelled very strongly of bleach in the lobby but I guess that means it's clean. The service at the bar & restaurant was slow but good prices and good food. Location was good, only 10 minutes to downtown area and 20 minutes to Palisade with nice wineries.

My son and I flew in for the filming of a TV show.. Zomb Squad, and we are staying a week. Matter of fact we leave tomorrow. I requested a room on one of the top floors and when we checked in we were amazed at the beauty of the hotel. The restaurant has great food, room service was wonderful and the ladies who keep it clean did an awesome job! Thank you for making our trip feel like we were home! We will be be back to film full episodes and we will most definitely be staying here again!!

Decent place. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet and cool, and it was easy to get to from I70. The shower head was a bit short for me, as I had to squat to get my head wet. I'm above average height, but I don't think I'm a giant by any means.

Fairly quiet and comfortable hotel. Excellent location off the highway and close to the airport. Plenty of parking. No bell service so have to carry your bags to room yourself. When I checked in no carts were available either. Good restaurant and bar on site.

The hotel is easy to find. The decor is nice. There is a restaurant in the building, which is convenient. There is an indoor pool with s hot tub, though there doesn't appear to be a way to turn the hot tub on. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Plenty of other restaurants close by. The hotel is close to Colorado National Moment and a dirt drive from there orchards and wineries.

Stayed there 5 nights. Overall pretty good place. The "breakfast buffet" was far from a buffet and was $8 for guests. Consisted of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, some fruit, oatmeal, and a couple cold cereals. Pretty much what most other places offer as a contiental breakfast these days. Drinks are expensive at the bar. I think during happy hour they were .25-.50¢ cheaper. Taco Tuesday was great and free. Really liked the music in the bar. Russ was awesome and should be signing all the time there. The food I ordered of the menu was real good. Kinda pricey but seemed to match everything else in town. Rooms were good. Staff was friendly. Overall good stay.

Our family of 9 spent a night in a few rooms. We were treated very well and enjoyed the amenities they offered, such as the pool.

Only reason for the 4 stars is that the fire alarm went off in our room from the steam while my wife was showering. Scared the hell out of her. They told her it happens often. I'm guessing they should find a fix for that. Pretty disturbing to a guest jumping naked and wet trying to grab a towel and figure out what is happening. The siren and strobe lights were really intense.

I stayed with my husband and our four kids in one of their suites. The TV was set to come on and played jazz at 5am, but we think that was a previous visitor's doing. Other than that, it was great. The beds were comfortable and the service was friendly.

Friendly staff, reasonable rates and dog friendly. They go to the extra effort of prepping a welcome letter and complimentary drink at the bar for Expedia VIP+ members. Also conveniently located across from Octopus coffee which is your best bet for a good morning beverage and breakfast to start your day off right.

The bed had a dog bone under it and was cold upon arrival. The housekeeper also wanted to argue about checkout time after we reserved a late checkout. The front desk clerk did adjust our bill slightly due to the inconvenience. A drunk man wanted to chat about hurting people at the bar. Olivers bar and restaurant was okay.l, however I had to wait a bit to order my dinner. Didn't have any drinks so I can't vouch on drink quality and service. Overall it was pretty decent exspecially for the price.

I lost a very special necklace it is diamond heartshaped and very sentimental.. Was in 306 the first night and had to switch to 303 cause my back started spasming due to uncomfortable beds, that being said I know for a fact that my necklace is in 306, moved to 303 fast to where I didn't go through my room. We tossed room in 303 and yet all I heard was housekeeping looked.. I am upset and don't know how I'm going to tell my son I lost it. If you find it please email me at [email protected] hope there are honest people and it returns even if you want a reward I'll do it..

Hotel, not a motel. Big clean rooms, restaurant/lounge, indoor pool, small gym (they also give you day passes to a local gym if you require more equipment). For the price ($54) you won't find better accommodations. Nicest place we've stayed on a 6,000 mile vacation.

We were in Grand Junction for the Tour of the Moon, a bicycle ride through the Colorado National Monument. Because the ride started downtown, that was our first choice in terms of location but even though we booked months ahead, the downtown hotels were sold out. We were attracted to the Grand Vista by other online reviews and our stay was delightful. The staff was attentive. The property was quiet and clean. There's a full service restaurant and lounge on site and the location isn't bad at all. You can be downtown in a matter of minutes. It's obvious that the owners care a great deal about the total experience. We loved it and would stay here again.

So this place has a hoppin' lounge. They had karaoke both Thursday and Friday night from nine to midnight. The man running it was super fun. The atmosphere is so cozy and had a decent selection of craft brews. The bartending staff were rude and grumpy though, and the prices seemed a bit high. But the clientele were so friendly and fun. Best time I've had at karaoke in a long while.

7

Got a great rate for the room. The room was clean, the beds were very comfy and I was very pleased. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
When I originally called, I was put on hold for over for minutes, and I hung up in frustration. But I thought I'd give it another shot, and I'm glad I did.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5: the pool needs some cleaning service, and the breakfast in the restaurant was not very good. Breakfast buffet is $7 for adult guests, but there was no meat, there are not enough tables, and the coffee is so-so.

Next time through GJ, I will probably stay here again. I really liked the beds!!

When we checked in the clerk is a big hurry to get us on our way even though no one was waiting behind us.

The room was decently clean but NOT what I expect for what we paid to stay in the room or a 3.5 star hotel. Going from the bathroom to the sinks there was not a transition piece between the carpet & tile it was being held in place by duct tape.

No continental breakfast... for the amount we paid to stay I would at least expect a continental breakfast. There were not enough towels & wash rags for two adults, the exterior of the refrigerator had not been cleaned in quite some time and the microwave was pretty gross. I ran into several other guests who were carrying their ice buckets between floors because the ice machine on their floors were not working. The hotel claims to have Wifi but we were told it did not require a password and the signal strength was horrible so it was not even worth trying to connect to it.

The lobby is beautiful looking and the restaurants appeared nice but we did not dine in them.

Easily the same accommodations as one would get at a Holiday Inn or La Quinta. There is a full restaraunt/bar but no free breakfast of any sort. There is live music every night. Close to I-70 and Horizon Dr takes one downtown in about ten minutes. Plenty of restaraunts and bars nearby.

Clean and nice place to stay. I come here a lot for work and there is just one deal breaker for me. No coffee in the lobby until the restaurant opens, restaurant is over priced for the food and coffee.
