The new marketplace is so nice! Had dinner at Noodle Art and our dinners were absolutely delicious! Service was excellent and the ambiance was just so wonderful. I especially love the new non-smoking areas in the casino. Our room was on the 29th floor in a corner room with great views of the city!

This was a disappointing stay to be honest, the security picks and chooses rules on the fly, and getting to and from your car in the garage takes quite a bit of effort up and down multiple elevators. The cost for a nights stay insinuates a high end feel but once you're in the room you realize how small and cheap it really is. Furniture is cheap and slapped together, there is zero noise reduction in the construction, on floor 14 you can hear cars and guests. Security stopped me from bringing a cooler of water, ice, and juice, zero alcohol or even pop and told me a cooler wasn't allowed but cases of beer and bottles of liquor was ok. I questioned the policy and instead of explaining why the female security guard began to inform me there was a refrigerator in the room with an attitude as I should have known that. When I got to the room with a few drinks and no cooler the only fridge in the room was a paid mini bar which specifically stated not for personal refrigeration. The second time I attempted to use my room key the key malfunctioned and I had to return to the front desk and get a new set, the front desk girl said it happens often yet it seems as if no attempt to fix the situation was in place. There were many small annoyances that happened in our 12 hours on the premises that I've decided I wouldn't stay here again, or recommend anyone I know to. MGM is minutes away and gives you a much better experience as a guest with a much better casino in my opinion, Greek Town lost business after last night, that is for sure.

The hotel is nice, but priced way above what it should be. Beneath the toilet bowl rim in our room was moldy, there was a card for complimentary bathrobes but not bathrobes, the furniture drawers were shallow and the furniture was cheap. It wasn't outright bad, but it was definitely billing itself as fancier than it was. The bed was very nice, though, which is the most important thing for me. Valet and front desk service was very good as well, although the front desk tried to bill us for minibar items when we checked out and we had never opened the unit (charges were removed).

The rooms are nice! The beds are really nice and so are the views. We walked to Little Ceasers Arena and a few other places from there. Free valet parking for 2 vehicles. Or free parking in structure, if you prefer, for up to 2 vehicles. Friendly staff. A lot of security and police presence in area. We felt safe but not watched. Highly recommend.

Greektown is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and have great views. I only gave it 4 stars because I feel like they could use better signage from the parking garages to the hotel. We were a bit confused and after a very long day clearer signage would have been appreciated.

From check-in to check-out, my stay at the Greektown was carefree. Rhea at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile and light humor. I was even offered a late check-out which paired well with my late night out. the bell and valet staff were friendly and helpful. My hotel room was pristine and the view was superb.

I was only in town for a day, but next time I visit Detroit, I know where I am staying.

When checking in, Chantell went over and above to help make our reservation mix up right! The room was very clean and neat. I had a good view of downtown Detroit. Everything was exceptionally good except the bed. I had a hard time getting comfortable in it. Especially loved the good luck bamboo plant that was in the room!

Greektown Hotel is well located right in Greektown Detroit. Very close to restaurants and bars, as well as 20-minute walking distance to the sporting venues and 10 minute walk to the Renaissance Center. Rooms are nice, decent enough space and quality finishings. Have stayed here a couple times but this was the first with a mini fridge, which we found helpful. Would stay here again even if not gambling - overall good, safe location close to many things in Detroit. Also parking is generally included/free if you're gambling or staying at the hotel.

My experience at the hotel was a good one. The room was small but nice, with an especially nice shower. The free valet parking was also a nice perk. Overall I had very few complaints.

7

Very nice hotel, great view from 30th floor. Stayed overnight with my wife for a night at the casino. Staff is friendly enough, beds were comfy, fantastic TV in the room. My only real complaint with the hotel was the air-conditioning. AC did not keep room cool enough for me, no matter what temperature I set it at. AC vent faces away from the bed and the thermostat is directly beneath the vent. I woke up in the middle of the night uncomfortable because the room would not cool.

The location was great, as was the valet, casino, bars and restaurants. The room had an amazing view and the staff was so pleasant. If you get a chance to stay here I highly recommend it. The price was decent for where your are at and the room itself was a the best one out of our whole week vacation.

Parts of the hotel seem a little dated but it's still very well taken care of. We asked for a regular fridge to replace the mini fridge and it was delivered and taken care of before we even got into the room. Beware, the keys are very easily demagnetized. You've been warned.

11-22-16, very nice hotel and staff. Stayed in rm 2116, king size, awesome view at night. $300 with breakfast at Bistro 555, 3-31-18 was room 2722. Awesome view of the city. Expensive but what else isn't in the area.

The best part about Greektown Hotel is the location. The people mover is located in the casino, which makes travel easy, and right outside the hotel is an abundance of restaurants and night life. The room is decent, but lacks things such as a fridge that can be used for personal things. The bathroom is also somewhat small, but overall a decent room. The least favorable aspect of the hotel was the valet parking and how it was run. The drop off area is small and crammed with the pickup in the back being misleading unless you've been there before. Overall a nice stay.

View of the city was great. Our room was a little dirty. Pile of dust next to the bed and cigarette ashes on the shelf in the bathroom. Staff was nice. Would have liked a smaller less expensive breakfast option than the buffet.

Great Hotel the only downfall is there's no bathtub inside any of regular rooms. They also do not have a spa pool or hot tub. Beds are very comfortable! They have very comfortable robes as well, great views.

A very decent hotel, very well priced and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms. I was staying in Marriott (both of them) before and the greektown casino is much cheaper , have a selection of of restaurant on premise (important during the colder days) , has the casino! The Greek town area is a much nicer and lively area of the city and still it's a walking distance to downtown.

I stay here 4 times a month. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the views are incredible. The staff is always happy to accommodate you with any issues or special requests you may have. The incredible service doesn't end at the hotel, it continues throughout the casino. I spend an average of 15 days a month traveling across the USA and Canada for work and have visited almost every casino out there and can honestly say GREEK TOWN is one of my favorites. Keep up the good work and thank you for the wonderful service.

7

A beautiful hotel with a great and attentive staff. The rooms are very nice and the location offers great views, especially at night. The only reasons for 4 and not 5 stars are the breakfast buffet ending at 11:00 and our reserved room, a Luxury Suite was downgraded to a lesser room without warning. The luxury suite is incredible and we were really looking forward to the room for our first date night, overnight in a year. The buffet should be a brunch on the weekend in a casino, where grown ups go to plate and often play late into the night and don't get up so early. An extended buffet would really be nice.

Had a great time at the hotel.. the view was amazing and the room was acceptable all be it a little small. There were several times I was woke up during the evening by loud guests in the hallway and one morning I was woke up by the cleaning staff knocking on the door even though I had a do not disturb sign on the door... Really made no sense. But all and all the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, so it could have been a lot worse

The Greektown hotel was a wonderful experience, and I hope to visit it again the future. I only stayed for one night, but the rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. It is located in a great spot, with lots to do within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay of you are ever in Detroit.

Was here for a professional event, and it certain fit the bill for a venue. But the casino is an odd place to be if you aren't a gambler. Plenty of other venue choices that are at least equal. Maybe it's cheap because they hope to get you gambling?

The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean. I loved the smell of the lotion in the room. However, the bed was too firm for my liking so I didn't sleep well. We ordered breakfast on the menu you put out the night before and choose a delivery time in the morning. We thought the prices were quite low for room service but our food wasn't of a high quality so that's probably why it was priced so low. There's no pool or hot tub at this hotel - we like to sit in the hot tub after a, hopefully, long night at the casino. We probably won't stay here again unless we get complimentary rooms from the players club. For the price I would rather stay at another close by hotel and walk to the casino. The staff was great but we weren't impressed with the amenities or lack thereof.

It was a very nice upscale Hotel. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The only problem we had was the iron in our was piece of junk and we called the front desk to get a new one to finish ironing for the wedding we were attending. Never got the iron. Fortunately my sister in law was 2 doors down and borrowed hers. The ironing board was flimsy and a piece of junk also. I would have thought a classy place, would have nicer supplies.
Food was great at the wedding. The bar was great. The appetizers were also great. A great time was had by all.

Attended a conference at the hotel. The parking was free and convenient. The food was good for both breakfast and lunch (buffet). We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There is a parking deck attached, free parking. The room was new and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There was no refrigerator for guest use. Instead there was a minibar fridge.

The room was a good size and clean. I wish there were an exhaust fan in the bathroom and that the price for a room wasn't as expensive. It's a great location with all the restaurants and bars around but will only stay at the hotel on special occasions.

Everyone that worked there was super nice. It was clean and lobby smelled good. The room view was nice too. The slot machines leave a lot to desired. There a lot of I'll games that look junky. I really like the rooms at the hotel. They're comfortable and have enough style to them to satisfy my tastes. The interior of the hotel has an intriguing design. Being right near the people mover is a big plus. The area is a bit meh, but i love staying at the place any time I come to Detroit.

Location is easy to get to, it's just off of the express way. The restaurants are great. Good food and you have choices of fancy restaurants or cafeteria if you are not interested in sitting down for a while. The rooms are awesome. We went to The Bistro 5 5 5 and there was a small wait for service. The real issue came when it took an extraordinary long time to get our food. The food what's good for some of us and not good for others. Some some of it seem to be microwaved, the service was patchy at best. There was an event that was being held there but this to me is no excuse for overall poor experience.

Had a room on the 25th floor on the city side. Great view of downtown. Room was clean and comfortable. I wish the windows were sound proof so we didn't have to hear the street "musician" play his bongo drums until the wee hours of the morning. All in all, a nice stay. We'll ask for a room on the river side next time.

Our suite was cozy and well maintained. Housekeeping was quick to bring extra requested supplies the handful of times we asked. Beds were clean and comfy as well. My only gripe might be that we requested a cot bed and it was $20 extra, which seemed odd since many venues include a cot free of charge.

The overall atmosphere was great Vegas-style venue. However there was very little security and few to no technicians for slot machines. So if you had an issue you waited for well over an hour. The hotel staff was great and very friendly however we had no hot water at 9 a.m. to shower before leaving. I let the front desk know and they gave us a credit which was nice but not necessary. So overall they took care of us and we give it 4 stars.

Central to downtown Greektown hotel is perfectly located off the freeway and walking distance to everything in downtown Detroit. It's like the Las Vegas Strip of Detroit. I'm not much of a gambler but I like this casino. Really clean even in the smoking areas. The lobby is beautiful, not sure about the rooms because I didn't stay overnight. The layout of the casino itself is a bit confusing but all casinos seem to be that way. There's never a shortage of things to do in the area tho. Location is awesome.
