Staff were very helpful and happy individuals.
The hotel is big and clean.
Our rooms were clean and spacious. The decour was modern.

I would say that the noise from rooms next to or opposite can be heard at night.
However that's no fault of the hotels as it's beyond the control if you have kids to the mix.

Overall great experience

Located at the end of a street with restaurants and shops and next to a kids playing area. From the back of the hotel you can reach the beach (stones & shells beach). There is 1 big swimming pool which is always overcrowded (specially in the weekends when the local tourists fill in the place) and a kids swimming pool with a small playground next to it. We had a room on the first floor with 2 doublebeds and a big terrace, however the other floors and the old part of the hotel are slightly smaller and with a balcony instead. There are 3 lifts big enough for a family of 4 with suitcases, however people tend to claim the space or don't keep doors open for you. The restaurant is always crowded but big enough to handle all the visitors, however if you arrive late there is a big queue to get a table. Every day they have a different theme (repeated every week) and the usual dishes, where sometimes the meat and/or vegetables are recycled from the day before. Deserts are the same every day except for the weekend when there is a table with sweets for kids and a chocolate/strawberry fountain. It is difficult to get a second round of drinks in the restaurant so it is best to order a 1 litter jar/whole bottle of whatever you drink. All in all it is a nice place if you have kids and if you can handle overcrowded places.

Clean hotel in perfect location. Room overlooking sea pool and entertainment, little noisy but have to expect that from a hotel that is ideal for families. We found the food to be varied,enjoyed the theme night's were hot and delicious. As nice as any we have had in 5 star hotels. Great value for money.

Waw! I've travelled a lot but have never experienced such a good half board (especially dinner)! Polite staff, resort, modern and nice, prices at hotel bars are very low and affordable, everyone is just so nice and happy. Big rooms with balcony. I advise you to look for parking your car on the street because there is much space and by that you can save 24euros.

A great place for a family holiday. Lots of kids activities. Very large buffet selection available. Room and surroundings are nice and clean. Looks like a new or refurbed hotel. Wouldn't say its a romantic couples hotel as its very lively with kids. Did not spoil our stay.

Everything about the hotel is great. I have seen some negative reports but can't understand why. The staff have been great, the food excellent. My only criticism is that the hotel is much larger than I thought. There was still no problem finding tables at meal times or sunbeds during the day. Try it you won't be disappointed with the hotel.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Friendly, helpful staff. We were all inclusive and found that the range of drinks and food included was much better than we expected. Room was comfortable and clean with views overlooking the sea.

I would have given the hotel 5 stars if the spa was included as part of your booking. We were disappointed to find that you had to pay extra for this as I had planned to use the gym every morning. We used this area twice, but noticed that it is in need of a deep clean, particularly around the jacuzzi area.

We had a very good holiday at this hotel from 26 May to 2 June. I was a bit worried about the food before we went, having read mixed reviews, but it was actually better than I thought. Lots of things cooked fresh on the buffet at dinner each night (fish, meat, stir-fry, burgers), plus a carvery, at least one other fish dish, a pasta bar, a salad bar, sea food etc. If you want an English-style cooked breakfast you might not like the sausages or bacon, but there are plenty of other breakfast options (meat, cheese, breads and rolls, pastries, churros, cereals, fried eggs and pancakes cooked to order, etc).
The pool was lovely and the hotel is on a beautiful promenade about 3km from the town centre. It was lovely walking long the sea front. There are plenty of local restaurants and we were half board at the hotel and went out for lunch each day.
The beach is not great for playing or making sandcastles as it is made from broken up shells and so is quite shingley.
The hotel staff were mostly very friendly and spoke some English. The "Animacion" staff who organise the daytime entertainment for kids and adults were great. You could join in with all kinds of things if you wanted to - boules, table tennis, pool, darts, archery, rifle shooting, etc. There was also a table tennis table to use any time for just a two Euro deposit, plus table football, air hockey etc.
Our room was very good and comfortable.
Unfortunately people started putting towels on sunbeds from about 7.30am!!! But there were plenty of sunbeds so although we were there in a busy half-term week we always found places and the lifeguards get more sunbeds out if they are needed. They will also bring you a sunshade if you need one.
The clientele was a mix of British, Irish, German, French and Spanish (from what I could hear) and a wide range of ages, from babies to pensioners.

Well maintained, excellent location, food quality very good however could have a little more choice. Overall a great hotel to stay.

Rooms were good and clean but no bath. There was a fridge though which was very useful.

Excelent stay, it's nearly new. Very good food, coffee at breakfast could be improved. Tiny gym but decent for a hotel, dumbbells up to 25kg. Plenty of seniors and families with children, few young people.

Lovely stay, aircon is centralised so heating or aircon is on for the whole hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Bus stop at the bottom of the street with links to almería and roq. De mar. Big pool and kids pool, swings too. Hotel partially renovated but can still do with further improvements.

This Hotel is very clean and the rooms have nice big beds the bathrooms are modern with nice showers , I had a room over looking the pool with a nice sea view ,, Breakfast , lunch , Dinner was delicious with a great selection of foods and desserts . Plenty of Sun beds and the beer was ice cold , friendly staff 👍. The only thing i feel I have to mention here is the bird show they put on for entertainment purposes was awful and cruel one parrot was so stressed it flew straight into the window with a big bang , poor thing was out cold 👎 .

Stayed for 1 week . Nice hotel , clean, nice spa .
Didn't do full inclusive , but tried the evening buffet once , didn't like eat ...but that's is our personnal choice .

This hotel is wonderful. I travelled with 2 parents both In wheelchairs and we had accessible rooms with huge wet rooms. The staff are wonderful, food is great and the location couldn't be better. Pool is a bit small for the number of people in the hotel I feel but the beach is right there and we prefer that so for us it wasn't an issue.

The hotel is amazing. The food is really really good despite of how many people they have to cook for everyday. Everything tastes fresh. The pool is a bit too warm but the beach is a few metres away if you want cooler water. The staff is very helpful and nothing is too much for them. I'd definitely come back here.

Not as good as most of the reviews . Down as as four star but should be a three the reasons
No kettle in rooms.
Sun beds crammed together and have to pay for towels.
Premium areas not being used due to charge.
Have to pay for sunbed on beach.
Rooms are very nice but two double beds in room take up too much room and make the room too small.

Nice hotel, ask for a room in the new building and with a sea view I was on 6th floor room had two queen size beds, fridge plus all the usual amenities. Free WiFi was excellent. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of new condition sun beds around pool.

The pool and decking are a great improvement.More shelves in the room would be an asset.In the dining room it would be better if the tea bags were beside the hot water.My party did not like the house wine, the other wines on offer were very acceptable.The new bar is very sparse lacking in athmosphere.Otherwise the improvements are good,as usual the food was terrific.

In fact quite a good hotel, nice clean rooms and friendly people. Good variety of food at the restaurant with a lot of themes every week. They have a nice view on the beach and provide quite a lot of entertainement. However, this entertainment can last untill 11:00pm. Can be fun for some people but others do want some night rest. Besides that, great hotel.

Nice, clean hotel in good beach location. Had no issue getting tables at meal times. Didn't use pool or bar so can't rate. Free parking outside but always very busy, more parking is available around the town or along the beach. Helpfal staff. Drinks in the restaurant were nore expensive than bars in the resort as expected. Save money and go to he supermarket. Roquetas de Mar is a slightly dated if not run down resort however and I would not return.

Had a few drinks outside with family in the evening. Really smart, modern hotel with friendly staff. Entertainment team were great too.

Beautiful hotel. Clean, welcoming and plenty of facilities. Across the road to the beach and on a beautiful promenade. Staff all Spanish but communication is possible with most if you are willing to appreciate you are in their country not speaking their language and do your best to find alternative ways of asking. Food amazing and Sun beds galore. Rooms are lovely and spacious. There's a kids club where the staff are great fun! Working hard to make the kids comfortable. I cannot rave about this hotel enough. Highly recommend for families

All staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything you need . . .our first holiday away with out 2 young children has made it extra special

Just back from a fantastic week at sabinal. Great beach just through the gates next to the pool and 2 sunloungers for €7 and main strip of bars and restaurants on your door step. 5 & 3 year olds loved the "wee pool" with slides and the "big pool" for jumping in! Food was to be expected in an all inclusive hotel and yes there was pushing in but it was hardly the end of the world. Would reccommend the fun fair next to the front doors, great value for money and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Highlight of our holiday was the pony and cart ride (organised through hotel reception) driver was great with the kids, let them sit up front and drive, wee ones were delighted. All staff were eficient and chatty and bar que was never very long. Entertainment team was mostly in spanish but made a real effort with us to include in dances/songs etc. We genuinly had a great holiday and would recommend.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week 3 weeks ago. Very nice and clean hotel, and right on the beach. The food was excellent, but restaurant got too busy. People pushing and shoving to get the fresh cooked meats. We were near the back of the hotel, and got a great nights sleep. Very quiet at night. The only disappointments were with..SMOKING!. The outside part of the restaurant, had smokers out there. And also by the pool areas. We only stayed by the pool one day because of it. Smoking should be banned from areas where none smokers are. And especially near food!.

Good location. If you have halfboard or all inclusive you will not starve. 😉 but not every food is perfect. Beds are extra extra large. 😁

I was on a date at the restaurant, and It was so nice, we eat like queens and kings.

Lovely 2 weeks in early May organised by John Galligan Travel, probably the best travel agents in Ireland. Recommend sea view 1st floor - huge balconies.Hotel very busy and sometimes a bit hectic in restaurant at peak times but excellent nevertheless.

we have just come back on the 17th of April once again we had a wonderful holiday the food was amazing the hotel was lovely and the staff lovely to so looking forward to going back this is my 2nd time here and cant wait to make it a third thank you for a fab holiday loved it i will be 60 next April hopefully that were i will be spending it

I visited The New Best sabinal hotel and IT was very good, They great me good but The drinks weren't very good, there was a blond waiter that treaz very bad some clients of the bar

The superior rooms are big and clean. The food is good. Very close to a great beach. The best area I have seen for handicapped people.

Just returned from two week holiday. You are always going to get people complaining, but from my personal experience, a great holiday was had here.
Extremely clean everywhere. Plenty of choice every evening for dinner. Beach is just opposite and you don't have to put towels down at silly o clock. Plenty of sunbeds and space to place towels, if preferred.
The only downside was lack of good entertainment in the evening but, we were happy to stroll around the shops and have a drink or two in the bars.
If you are looking for an all English hotel that serves English food and want to visit an English pub down the road, may I suggest Blackpool instead!!

Opinión sobre habitación superior, ya que no me recomendaron las habitaciones normales por el deterioro que tienen.
Nuestra habitación bien, el mobiliario como siempre en la costa, antiguo y feo, pero tampoco hemos estado mucho rato en la habitación, el baño normal y la limpieza muy buena.
La comida, depende de cada uno, es muy personal, pero a nosotros nos gusta mucho y mucha variedad.
La piscina muy caliente, puede que no te guste, pero se está muy bien, lo malo, no pillas hamacas libres, se supone que no se pueden reservar...
La playa a un paso, de chinos, pero una vez dentro del agua genial.
El hotel está en una buena zona, con parking gratuito, aunque pequeño, pero hay muchos aparcamientos alrededor y por la mañana siempre queda alguna plaza libre para meterlo.

Es la quinta vez que venimos y volveremos Dios mediante. nos encontramos como en casa, el trato excelente, la comida variada y las paellas extraordinarias, no obstante lo mejor de todo el personal y el ambiente familiar. Es muy tranquilo y recomendable para pasar unos dias de descanso y diversion, pues todas las noches hay animacion, baile y espectaculo.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Quist. We had a junior suite, and loved to have a place to relax. The hotel lacks some maintenance, and is somewhat run down. The buffet in "all inclusive" is almost the same everyday - after a week it becomes very tiring. There is no A l Carte alternative on the hotel, and the food in the cafe is NOT impressive.

Excellent hotel had no problems at all would recommend to anyone to go there its right by the beach
