Fabulous stay. Staff are fabulous from the valet when I arrived to the front desk staff. Efficient, fast & overly helpful, which is not all that common these days.

Room was spacious with all expected amenities. Bed was excellent! Only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed and quiet. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was well cooked and beautifully seasoned. Serving size was a bit small and pricy. Otherwise service was excellent throughout, checkout quick and staff excellent.

Company trip staying at The Pullman Melbourne on the Park. Executive suite. Customer service was exceptional. Meals were awesome. Room overlooking the park. Only negative, the access to the executive lounge has limited hours for drinks between 6-8pm.

One of the best hotels I have stayed so far in Melbourne. Staff was really helpful. Good breakfast (hint: book via the website to get $1per person per stay brekky). Paid underground parking. Heated outdoor pool. Recommend!

The rooms are really nice and clean. The staff is so friendly. It's 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by tram to the city, and 5 minutes walk to a 24/7 "7 eleven" store.
One thing though, the bedside alarm clock was still set to the light saving summer time.

This hotel has been bought buy Accor hotel group and branded Pullman. The renovation of the entire ground floor is a success: the bar area is modern and classy. The entire restaurant is more opened that before in terms of space.
Hopefully the rooms will go through a similar refurbishment. The Ac system is outdated and air flows in and out when its not even running.
Gym is alright if not busy. Outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi available.

This was a two night business trip stay, so the hotel was perfectly serviceable. However I would definitely not rate it as a 5 star hotel. The staff were probably the best thing about the hotel, all were excellent, however the rooms were only passable and in need of a refurb - the bathroom in particular. The bar certainly had 5 star prices though. If I had paid for the hotel expecting a 5 star experience, I would have definitely been disappointed and would have complained, probably asking for a different room. My colleagues and I all agreed it was around a 3.5 or maybe 4 star, but was a long way off the 5 stars it claims.

Wonderful experience at Pullman, being greeted by Emily at check in and was given an upgrade and complementary drinks in recognition of my status and the special occasion. Room overlooking MCG, and donuts in the room. Couldn't fault the stay and would stay again.

An elegant hotel, previously know as the Hilton. We decided to stay here for our 20th anniversary. We booked a corner suite to mark the occasion as it was the same hotel we stayed in all those 20 years ago. Customer service was nice & friendly. The food & drinks of a great standard & rooms are well appointed. However, cleanliness could be better as we found a used napkin on the floor of the couches area.

I visited the Pullman for a conference so can't comment as a place to stay. As a conference venue it was clean, well serviced, the food was great and all in all a good event. If you're looking for something quirky, this isn't for you. It's a reliable hotel with nice decor away from the hustle of the cbd.

A nice and quiet hotel to stay. Pullman is just close to a beautiful park nice for running, bike riding and relaxation. Not too far from the city centre and across is a big stadium I believe is a legendary cricket ground. Nice staff and comfy beds...

This hotel is in a great location, it has everything you need. The public areas such as the restaurant, reception and bar, are world class. The rooms are very dated, and I believe are in the process of refurbishment that it desperately needs. Furniture and fittings just seam to be worn out. The bed & pillows were a bit firm for my liking.

Excellent. Great service. First class breakfast. Comfortable room. Above all your staff on the front desk, in the restaurant and room service were friendly, helpful and we were greeted with a smile. The problems we had with the hire car company were handled well by the gentleman on the front door. Well done.

I wanted to write: best place ever, but there is a 200 word minimum :) So i can explain.. Big Corn island is a pretty basic place, but lovely and very authentic. We were looking for a nice beach and some private time.. Well this was a dream come true. Especially for big corn! The guys working there were so friendly, they came running to help us and to be honest. You dont need much else than the view and the beach in front of the hotel. Private white sand beach and clear blue waters.. It felt like a dream!

For dinner: the first place from the hotel has Great lobster with garlic sauce!!

The Pullman Melbourne is nicely located near the city with access to tram. The whole experience was good having stayed in a suite near the top floor with great views. Although the hotel room itself is not the one I expected. I have been on other Pullman in Olympic Park in Sydney and it was quite nice and the building appears new. On the other hand the one in Melbourne felt dated and it was obvious through the carpets and curtains. The sofa bed appears old and dusty. Incidentally my daughter's allergies got triggered which we were not sure if it was due to the ice cream she had with supposedly no nuts or the dust from the room. She ended up staying in an emergency hospital overnight. When we came back to the hotel early morning we asked for a late checkout and we were given a very late checkout. We are so grateful for this consideration. The only other thing is the pool which my daughter was excited to use but was closed for some reason. Overall it was still a pleasant experience.

We had a great overnight stay - the location was suburb as I was heading in for surgery at St Vincents Hospital on Grey Street the following day This was only a short walk away. We loved our corner suite with new modern bathroom and plenty of space. The new extended bar sets the mood as do the outfits the barmen wear! We thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of the 'seafood buffet', which rather than having endless concoctions, perfected tastefully a few. Very refreshing for the old 'buffet' from the past.

Could not use the restaurant in the evening because they only offered seafood buffet and am allergic to seafood. There was no option for a la carte menu therefore had to eat away from hotel which was a shame.
The hotel rooms are nice but a little tired. I understand that a refurbishment project is underway which overtime should improve the rooms appearance and functionality. As they are they, they are spacious and comfortable.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you very much.

We were extremely impressed with the service of the staff and presentation of hotel. We were unaware of the relaunch and opening of the restaurant. On inspection we decided to dine there in preference to going out. Once again the staff were welcoming, professional and interactive. The food quality and presentation was 5 star. We will definitely return.

The Pullman remains my hotel of choice in Melbourne. It's position opposite the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens ensure a lovely 15 minute walk into the heart of the city. A tram stop outside the hotel gets you there in 10 minutes. The renovated lobby & restaurant look great. The reception staff & those working in the restaurant are friendly , helpful & knowledgeable. If you get the opportunity the service in the Executive Lounge is excellent & I highly recommend it.

We saw your Hotel in a deal so we thought we would try it.
We were there in July 2017, both ;liked the location and the room was great.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Loved the Executive Lounge on the 18th floor.
Parking was easy.
Breakfast was great too.
Guess what,
We have booked again for August.
Great place for anyone.

On arrival the lovely staff advised we had been upgraded to an Executive room with access to the Executive Lounge, and all the benefits this entailed this was a wonderful surprise and made our stay that much more memorable.
The location was perfect for our plans for the weekend and the ambiance of the hotel was great, we can only imagine how much nicer it will be once the renovations are complete.
Only a few things stood out that kept us from giving a 10/10 rating, the mattress wasn't the most comfortable, there was no mattress protector on the bed and there were no pillow toppers available.
And a massive thank you to all the staff, they made our weekend getaway an amazing time and a treasured memory.

Reception staff on arrival were pleasant and efficient.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Breakfasts were delicious and staff handled the crowds with smiles and efficiency.
Check out Sunday was busy due to football crowd but proceeded smoothly.
Looking forward to returning once renovations are completed ! The location is perfect whether you wish to walk through the lovely Fitzroy Gardens, explore East Melbourne or use public transport.

even though we dined in a make shift restaurant due to renovations it was well made up for in very good meal and friendly and personable staff.
Rooms were well presented and kept and reception staff (including concierge) were very friendly and down to earth.
Construction works did start early in the morning but as we are early rises this wasn't too big an issue on this occasion. Saying this we respect that renovations need to occur and no time is a good time but it has to be done.

I was extremely happy with the Pullman. My room and breakfast were excellent, even catering for my gluten, dairy and sulphite free diet. The bedroom decor was worn and tired, but very clean and comfortable. The service of the staff was the standout. I suffered a nasty fall on the tram tracks in Wellington Parade outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and caring, calling an ambulance, notifying my husband and telling him which hospital l was in. It was very reassuring. Take my advice and cross at the lights!

We arrived early, hoping to drop off our bags, but our room was ready and we explored the pool and spa area before going to the art gallery. In the afternoon we returned and swam in the pool. Yes, it was winter, but the pool was warm and beautifully clean. I loved being able to have a entrance to the pool/spa area. The room was a little too warm for us Tasmanians and the fresh air from outside was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day. The hotel was a great experience for us and we would not hesitate to stay their again and recommend it to friends.

Having booked a balloon flight for my husband and I for our first anniversary I thought I would book a room at the Pullman on the park as this was the pick up point for our ballooning experience. We arrived on Saturday afternoon expecting a nice but basic room as I had opted for one of the cheaper options, When checking in the lovely man at the desk said he had a surprise for us and that we have been upgraded. We were very excited and told him how nice this would be as it was our anniversary, he then offered us free champagne to celebrate..
We were taken to our room (or should I say penthouse) it was the most beautiful 2 story apartment with stunning views, we could believe how lucky we were. Our balloon flight was terrific and we then returned to the Pullman for a lovely breakfast.
It was an amazing anniversary, and we thank the Pullman on the park for there wonderful service.

We had a slight issue upon check in however this was quickly resolved by the lovely lady at reception. The staff in the club/executive lounge were particularly good. Friendly and attentive, not disinterested as I've found many staff in this environment. My only criticism would be the room service meal prices. I had a sick child and could not go attend the football as planned so had to order in, I found the prices to be a little over the top. Other than that the hotel as a whole suited perfectly for what we required, with the interconnecting rooms and access to the MCG. Already have another future booking and I'm sure we will return again and again.

Room was neat and clean although had to really search to find the air-conditioner. The room actually had an unusual smell about it. It wasn't enough for me to ask for a room change but it was in-your-face when you walked into the room. I like having fresh air so I used the open window but renovations on the train tracks below by council (?) on the Thursday night kept me up at times. Breakfast was okay too given the renovations and staff were pleasant. Nothing outstanding in the stay to make me really want to come back to this hotel over others.

From the check-in to departure the experience was excellent! The staff at the Executive Lounge, particularly Jo on Saturday night (21st May) was outstanding. Matched by the staff on Sunday night when Natasha did a great job as well with my gluten and dairy free partner's dietary needs!
Room (1701) was clean, comfortable and quiet. Table lamp didn't work and reading lamp above bed on one side was a dull glow.
It will be even better when the renovations are complete and the dining room and entry foyer are at the usual Pullman standard.

Old hotel. Comfortable stay. Quiet. Breakfast very expensive for what you get, far better value elsewhere. Dinner was expensive but nice. It was noisy as there was a function on next door and the restaurant was not closed off from it as guests had to use bar from restaurant due to renovations. $16.00 for 6 nuggets and chips was way too expensive especially when there is no Accor discount. $50 parking was a little excessive. Taps for shower were low, (bath taps). Would not be suitable for someone with back issues or an elderly person.

The Hotel is well located and within walking distance to many locations. It does have good access to transport and the facility of parking as we had hired our our vehicle. Staff were always very helpful.
The room was generally quite good, and the house keeping was also good.
The bath/shower was a little dated and could be updated for better access and safety..
Also the TV/Entertainment while good quality it was a little clumsy to navigate.
Overall it was a pleasure to stay at the Pullman

We had a most enjoyable, relaxing stay. Stephanie looked after us for breakfast in the Executive Club Lounge and she was amazing. Decore was quite dated. Room size was very good. Bedding was firm with no mattress topper. Minibar choice was reasonable but could be better. No information in my room on room service other than a breakfast card. Odour in corridors was like something from an old hotel. Jackhammers at 7:15am weren't appreciated although I know this has to be done to improve the hotel. Staff were helpful and very courteous. Fast check out worked well except I was billed on my private card which should have gone onto the booking done on the corporate account. This took several attempts to be rectified and I believe has previously happened with staff from my firm.

Good Rooms and Nice Ambience but Bad Guest Service team. I was staying in the executive Lounge Room category and had access to the executive lounge floor. When i visited the place the second day of my stay in the evening at 6.30 pm, i was stopped by the gentlemen there in a rude manner and told that let me verify where u have access to this place. I was quiet and did not react. Later the gentlemen tells me that he doesn't have me listed on his Room number sheet. I was very disappointed with the kind of embarrassment my wife and i had to face. I requested the gentleman to call the reception and check, on which he was told we were allowed. I fail to understand how can a brand like pull man not keep an updated sheet of room nos which have access to the lounge. If u guys can do it for the breakfast list, then why not the lounge access list is made? Its a nice property but people need to be well mannered and not show racism to indian guest. Thanks

Have the "privilege" to stay here as part of the flight crew for a major International airline. Been to many hotels around the world and this might be one of the worst. Cleanliness : zero. Toilets are not sanitized and have stains all over (super gross) and other people's hair are seen in the bathtub. If I can see it, the staff can also see it, but apparently nobody cares. Rooms are shady, noisy, smelly (cleanliness again), worn out. Buffet breakfast : not worth it, rather go outside and explode the small cafés around the area.

Two stars for the location : fairly central and a nice park right outside.

As a hotel the facilities and rooms are well kept and cleaned regularly. A few minor cosmetic problems (bath enamel showing it's age etc.).

Internet delivered wired or wireless is expensive at 15aud for 24hrs (at 5Mb).

At check-in we were delayed for about an hour while the hotel caught up with late departures (Emirates flight was delayed). While the hotel helped those guests affected they neglected those that would occupy those rooms in thier stead. Could have been handled better.

Older building, but suites are well appointed and in great working order. The breakfast is excellent, the pool area nice, and the lifts are fast. I highly recommend the suites an alternative to standard rooms at the Sofitel. The prestige suite at the Sofitel is nice though as a more expensive alternative. Likewise the suites at the M Gallery Como are a nice equivalent, but more open plan. The separate living area in the Pullman is quite comfortable in its own right, but the kitchen at the Como is a plus.

Attended a Dermatology conference here, very professional and the service was great, the conference rooms were fitted out nicely with water, pens and pads, and their audio system worked well.

Had a lovely 3 night stay. It is outside the free tram zone. There are a few nice places to eat nearby and it is very convenient for watching the tennis and cricket. The building and interior are quite dated but I liked the historic interior. The staff were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Room size was reasonable but not hugely spacious. They were clean however there is no option to not have your room cleaned. The buffet breakfast was excellent - it had a huge range of food. I would return if I visited Melbourne again.

We stayed 4 nights and we loved it, very clean and tidy, with the best service that we could have asked for,we already have mentioned it to family and friends ..what agreat place to stay, train and trams right outside the front door and beautiful parks across the road for walking, the river walk and the CBD are so close..we walked there most days.
Thanks again Murray and Liz Kitching

We stayed three nights, lovely hotel, breakfast was nice, our room was located near the lifts which unfortunately kept me up most of the night each night. Very noisy, returned home extremely tired, which annoyed me considering we chose this hotel to relax.

I've always gotten first class treatment here. The rooms have been excellent (relaxation suite) and the value has been great (I qualify for a government rate). The view from the executive lounge is spectacular. Access to parks, sporting facilities, and river walk is quick and easy. I love it here.

We were given an upgrade to a suite. The room and facilities were well appointed. but was stuffy when we first entered the room and the pod UHT milk in the bar fridge was turned. " room service replaced it with fresh milk". The restaurant menu was lacking, the waitress was pushy and unfriendly. and they tried to over charge us when we checked out. (You got the impression the staff were uninspired and begrudged there work. ) Frankly I expected better.
