Hobo is conveniently located, and modern yet cozy. The hotel staff was personable and helpful. The restaurant had great food, not just for dinner, but also the breakfast which was included with the hotel room. Most of the servers I had were excellent.

Hipster mecca! The hotel is clean and quirky. Prices are above average but what you get is a nice and quirky interior (like the water gun that comes with the bathroom) and personell that is the ultimate breed of hipster. You will get mustaches, tatoos and odd hair styles. The location is top notch. Would recommend, if you're a hipster you'll fit right in.

Original urban hotel. Good value for money in a superb location. Liked the gym, clean with new equipment and you can cast your own music. Liked the free laundry and ironing room although it was difficult to get hold of the washer or drier. Very lively atmosphere at night. Breakfast not so Good lacking obvious choices like cereals, muesli or yogurt.

Up: A very hipster vibe. Staff very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast buffet superb.

Down: bar music too loud, reverberates up into hotel rooms & is extremely intrusive. Don’t stay here if you’re in business as it interferes with being able to focus, let alone sleep

Delicious breakfast buffet! I really recommend this. Great for both catching up with friends and having more of a business meeting, or just a cool working space. The Hobo Hotel is just next to the really cool and popular TAK rooftop bar!

A concept hotel with a very personal touch. The entrance is certainly a change from the usual generic hotel look. The rooms are not as extremely decorated, they're fairly standard with the odd interesting detail added. For instance, my bathroom was equipped with a water pistol.
There's a gym in the hotel.
The breakfast is nothing special, despite what the hotel itself might think about it.

A true hipster hotel. They are challenging the hotel norms with informal and causal clothing, reverse cleaning policy (you must explicitly mark your room for cleaning, otherwise they will not clean your room) and a splash water gun on the room. I appreciate that. The rooms are very quite, but some rooms don't have any windows so make sure you are aware of that when booking. However, I had such a great sleep in my windowless pitch black room.
When it comes to breakfast, it's very limited compared to Swedish breakfast standard. And the vegetarian/vegan options are close to none.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Loved it! The team is super friendly and very knowledgeable about their services (can't get that for granted) and the city. The room I was just about the right size. The bathroom had a fantastic shower I wish I would have used more. Props for the in-room speaker and TV (although I haven't used it). I wish there were a few more outlets below the desk, but I managed to find a solution somehow.

I returned to the restaurant of this hotel as I remembered having an amazing few courses menu here, in August.
This time there was no table, but I was offered a place at the bar, where I could also order food.
I had a great time, got great service from a very professional attractive barman, who explained everything gracefully, made good recommendations and was fun to watch him at work.
I had a local starter of matjes on flat bread and a lovely salad, very unique mix, accompanied by home made bread. At the end I had a 3 rum sorts drink, a speciality of the sportive barman, which swept me off my feet (both the drink and the barman)

Room more spacious than expected. Good atmosphere, great breakfast. Very central location. Good soundproofing deadened the bass coming from nearby nightclub on a Saturday night.

Very nice hotel! The design is beautiful and everything is really clean and welcoming. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The rooms are perfect and well equipped! You can even borrow umbrellas or maps from the hotel! The breakfast is fresh and tasty:)

Positives:
- Great hotel design, wonderful looking rooms
- Spectacular breakfast (I loved this)
- Good positioning (central)
- Very friendly staff (the friendliest staff I have ever met)

Negatives
- I stayed on a business trip and my marketing manager booked a room without windows. I had a bad night sleep as my body clock was messed up, I woke up at 4am, 7am, 9am and 10am and I did not know what time it was because it was so dark! I'd recommend booking a room with windows, its worth the extra cost, and otherwise I would have rated this hotel 5/5 instead of 4/5.
- Tip: install some kind of natural lighting facility.

I had booked an apt at another location and it didn’t turn out to be what I thought; I quickly jumped online and booked a room at the HoBo Hotel. BEST thing that could have happened to make our trip better. Not only are the rooms super stylish and cool but the staff made our experience even better. The front desk gave us great recommendations of local spots and were great! I highly recommend staying here!

We went to the bar in the lobby to see the herbs and plants they use in their food. It was really natural with the decor and general appearance matching the immense amount of greenery. I loved it!!

This is a CASH FREE business - so only card. The drinks menu is classics with a twist and truly are wonderful drinks. The beer on tap and in bottles was excellent.

Felt a little awkward sitting in the small area of the bar as there were only low tables and chairs surrounded by tables for eating and then the entrance of the lobby.

I would recommend for a drink but maybe then move on.

Stayed for the weekend. Our 2nd trip to Stockholm and the Hobo. Why change? You get what you see (or order). No window? Yes. Small rooms? Fine with me. Gym? Yeah! Absolutely sufficient! Everything important nearby. Relaxed atmosphere - very friendly staff. We will come back. Thumbs up!

Quaint rooms with average views. There are rooms without windows! Everything is "environmentally friendly" meaning they don't clean the rooms unless you ask the lights are dim and the staff is minimal. There's many options right in this area that are similar can't hurt to shop around slightly.

Had a classy stay. Fancy bar on the ground floor and you can text or call for service if needed. The sliding door to the facilities has a ~2 cm gap, making your business audible to your friends. Authentic or awkward - your call.

It's a pretty cool hotel. Front desk staff is very nice. Breakfast is limited and can get boring if staying more than a couple of nights.

I stayed HOBO for 4 days and the crews were super kind and nice. Good and cozy interior (and for me, the best thing was a bluetooth speaker inside the room!). However, when I ask them to clean my room in second day, they only changed towels, but did not cleaning the room.

Went to Stockholm for a weekend away w my partner and picked it purely because of its sustainability stance and added quirkiness - we were underwhelmed completely.

Firstly, the only reason I can imagine it sells itself on sustainability is because the rooms are tiny, and there are no windows - this made it difficult to do anything from getting ready in the morning to not dying of overheating during the night (the aircon was awful). To indicate how small this was, we only travelled w two hand luggage suitcases and there was no space for them - I wish I was exaggerating.

Secondly, for a place that is sustainable, their vegan options were dire. I had 2 dishes: one was a literally 50 grams of mushrooms fried in miso and the other some gem lettuce with grilled baby cucumbers and grapfruit added for good measure. I was genuinely starving when I left. Considering dinner (w a bottle of wine) came to over 1800+ SEK, it was 100% not worth it.

Credit where credit due, the staff at this place are incredibly friendly and super helpful when needed so I can't fault that at all.

However, if you're going to spend this kind of money on a hotel, I would suggest the 5* one down the road. We chose Hobo in order to get a unique experience and instead we tried to spend as little time as possible inside. Adding fresh herbs and plants everywhere unfortunately doesn't constitute for sustainability (and that's coming from someone who literally lives her whole life trying to be as sustainable as possible). Providing only tissue instead of a hand-dryer isn't really sustainable either.

Definitely aesthetically pleasing.

Boutique but a little bare bones. I much prefered the neighboring at six hotel for a boutique hotel that also felt upscale. Better breakfast at six too.

Incredible value for money, with a super central location, and small but cozy rooms that have everything you might need in a very well designed decor.

Breakfast is a healthy buffet, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Even the gym is small but well equipped.

Would easily stay here again and recommend as a go to spot in Stockholm.

Awesome quality for the money. In this hotel it's the little details that really make a difference. The auto-dimming bathroom light allows those late night visits to the bathroom without stumbling in the dark. There is even a thermostatic valve in the shower. Shampoo and soap is provided in convenient dispensers attached to the wall. Bed is super comfortable and plush. Interior is well designed and modern. Love the nature sound effects piped into the hallways.
