My family stayed at this hotel this past weekend because we were in town for a wedding. The staff were great, and we appreciated the hot breakfast and all the variety they offered. I forgot a jacket in my room and Antonnette has been very helpful in getting it sent back to my home address. That's the extent of the extra care that I required. The rest of my experience was as expected of any other hotel...Hilton property or otherwise. Decent wifi. Acceptable breakfast. Clean room and warm water.

The hotel is centrally located and surrounded with shopping and dining destinations. The interior is well kept and modern. Abundantly equipped with business stations, meeting rooms, and common areas.

This hotel was fantastic. Staff was amazing and accommodating and friendly. Rooms were clean and freshly decorated.

We had our soccer team stay here. The rooms were good, amenities were as expected and the staff was nice. I will recommend that if you are playing in any sports tournament in Albany that this Hampton Inn is great.

I stayed with my basketball team from Sweden and were there because of playing high schools. So the location I dont really now that much but what I've seen I think it's pretty nice. The rooms were big and good as well with comfterbal beds and a big +for the college basketball they are showing on the tv's in the room. Breakfast is also pretty good not the best hotel breakfast but good as well as the service is okay and that's my thoughts on Hampton in.

Pretty decent hotel. We had some trouble with the plumbing that took longer to take care of than it should have. Overall, I would stay again.

The service is good, the breakfast food is good, and there is an all-day coffee and hot chocolate bar. Basically it is what one would expect from a hotel. The only problem is the pillows are pretty lame.

My stay was pleasant. For some reason I wasn't comfortable in the bed, but that may have just been me being away from home. One of the pillows had a lot of lint and a strand of hair on it, which made me feel like the pillowcase wasn't changed; I did not use that pillow.

One of the staff at the free breakfast buffet was very pleasant to chat with, and he went out of his way to ensure that guests got whatever they wanted if it was available. He even packed up a muffin for me to take with me. I'd go back.

Great all-around hotel. Very clean. Yummy breakfast. Insanely friendly staff. Also, big fan of the night time cookies. If I had to pick a gripe, I don't particularly love the pillows.

I give this location 5 stars, as they had great customer service from the desk check in clerk across to the breakfast crew staff. This location also had a modern decor in the rooms which I really admired.

Loved the hotel in general. It was clean, friendly and modern. The staff always wanted to make sure your stay was as best as it could be. They cleaned the rooms well and made sure all of your items were in place. The breakfast was acceptional and the workers were very friendly. Their pool was on the smaller side but it was a nice touch. I reccomend staying here if you are in the area and need a hotel.

We had to wait for our room to be ready and the front desk staff was keeping us up to date on what was happening. They were very nice and accommodating as we went through this process. That is why I like coming to this hotel and the breakfast can not be beat!

The hotel is located near Stuyvesant Plaza, where you will be able to do light shopping. The mall also has an array of restaurants to choose from. The room we stayed in was clean, with somewhat of a homely feel. The staff is polite, very helpful and made you feel like one of the family.

Had a wonderful night stay. Our room had plenty of space for the pullout couch and a cot allowing us to comfortably sleep two adults and two children. Pool area was nice for a morning swim and we all enjoyed the breakfast with enough options to keep us all happy.

One of the nicer Hamptons. Whatever you do though, do not press both the up and down channel buttons on the TV. The rooms are clean and newly decorated 2016. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were cleaned promptly each morning, and beds nicely made. Free breakfast was OK as well. The hotel was a tad chilly though. Good location with great places to eat nearby.

My family and i have stayed here three different time and all three time we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel. The amazing staff is on call to help you day or night. The staff also have great restaurant recommendation. You just have to ask.

First night in Albany and stayed at a Hotel on Central Avenue. Needless to say it was absolutely horrible!! Left a bad taste in my mouth for Choice hotels. Came here the next day and was greeted by Matthew who was very friendly! Made sure I had all the information about the hotel and all the services offered. Told me about Tuesday and how they do a cook out for the guest of the hotel! Tried it out and everyone was very friendly! Good food and complementary beer and wine!! Rooms were very clean and it just felt comfortable!! Pool was nice, and the exercise room even had free weights. Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in! I travel a lot for my work! I definitely recommend this place! It's formerly a Holiday Inn Express, now it's a Hampton Inn! Definitely worth the money to be comfortable in a relaxed and friendly environment!

Holiday Inn, IHG, told me this was a Hampton Inn, their competition. Is the Googler wrong?

I went up to the holiday Inn for a basketball tournament at the university of albany. The staff was very nice and polite. It seemed that the even hired more staff to make sure that ask the kids on one floor were looked after. The only knocks on the stay was the outdated decor in the room and super slow wifi. Horrible for streaming movies. But I was told by management that they are going to do renovations soon for those reasons. But the personable staff makes the difference.

I was greeted by Marena. Despite have a long line of people to check in, she was pleasant and informative. This was a big contrast to my check out experience. I woke to no hot water and a leak that trailed water into the hallway. I made the best of the situation and took a few pictures to share with the front desk. I went to the font desk to check out and was pleasantly suprised to find no line. Despite not being greeted by Charles the front desk staff, I greeted him and informed him that I would like to check out. I told him my lack of hot water and the leak in the bathroom. In addition, I showed him the pictures and explained that I left the light on in the room to prevent the next person from falling when entering the room. His only response was he would contact building maintenance. In case he, missed it I was checking out! I would not recommend this hotel.
