Pretty disappointed but I don't think. Waited at the desk to check in for more than 10 minutes. They did have some delicious chocolate chip cookies and strawberry flavored water in the lobby though. There is a free breakfast which is a plus. The room was a little too warm and really would not cool down. The worst part was the sheets- the were pilled and very uncomfortable.

The rooms are awesome. Neat and clean, beds are comfortable. Pool is very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. Fresh coffee all day and nice sitting area to relax and read the paper. Plenty of things to do in area as well as restaurants. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and definitely will go back.

Very close to all Hersey attractions. Everything there was just what we needed. Pool for my grandson. Very good and healthy free breakfast. Would stay again.

I had to stay for about a week due to a relative being in the hospital, overall the hotel was nice but the cleaning was not consistent. When the hotel staff cleaned our rooms the beds had hair and bathrooms not really cleaned, ironically they had a 3rd party cleaning company (triple threat something) working as well and when they cleaned our room you could really tell the difference. Hopefully they are cleaning your rooms because they did a great job and really earned the tip.

Very nice and clean hotel. The hotel itself is small and the staff is super nice & welcoming. The rooms are not too small just about the right size. The hotel is located across the commercial area where we bought some food and supplies, this was a plus for us. Standard holiday Inn breakfast was also a nice addition. I'd recommended this hotel if you are around.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It's fairly easy to notice from the street. The hotel staff was very nice and courtious. I would have no issues staying here again.

Location is good, room was fine. The pool was overrun with unsupervised kids.

Not a bad place but there are trains that seem to run every 15-20 minutes past my room no matter what time of day or night.

Rooms- the rooms are good size and the walls offer a decent amount of peace and quiet. This hotel is an older hotel and has been remodeled several times. my room had modern furniture modern lighting but in doing some of the modernization they lacked some key critical components my carpet was full of stains and my PTAC unit was covered in dust and you can tell that the filters have not been changed. They utilize and eco-friendly thermostat which means you walk into a hot room at the end of the day. Our room was right next to train tracks so all throughout the day and the night hearing the train go through town would quickly wake any person from a sound asleep up, make sure that you are on the left side of the hotel.

Staff- the staff member is truly do deserve five star they work extremely hard and take a passion what they do you can see that at all times they had a smile on their face. They did go the extra mile to help me as much as they could as the hotel was

Wifi- the Wi-Fi is incredibly slow and as it is offered for free, you need to input a code which only work for one day. They do not offer a lan connection inside of your room

Bathroom- the bathroom was in need of some help. The sheetrock tape was peeling and rust was bleeding through the paint from the sheetrock edges. Hot water is a very hard thing to come by early in the morning when they are at full occupancy it goes from hot to cold to hot to cold and makes it difficult to take a decent shower. The fixtures are modernized aside from the bathroom walls which had fiberglass put over the old walls and are now bowing out from expansion and moisture

Overall this is a decent hotel which offers decent amenities the breakfast every morning the staff puts their heart and soul into doing it right, the housekeepers do the best they can with the limited tools they have. This definitely is not a business class hotel and it's more for families there is a general lack of peace and quiet in the hotel as it has been remodeled some key components have been looked over I give this hotel a 4-star rating because of the staff members. If it were not for the staff members I would have given it lower Stars.

I have stayed here several times. It is clean and staff is friendly. My room this time was starting to look a bit worn. The fan in the bathroom was not working, and the wallpaper is starting to peel because of it. The cabinet with the refrigerator was broken. I actually think the refrigerator was going out too. I put my ice bucket full of ice in it to help keep it cool. Overall it was fine, but definitely needs attention soon.

Not the best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed in. The staff was pleasant and the lobby was very nice. It was the room that was kinda gross. Huge stain in the middle of the carpet which could have easily been a scene of pure horror or just an entire gallon of spilled chocolate milk. Either way I avoided stepping there. Couple wierd stains on the walls, but those were easily avoidable.

Excellent service from Robert at front desk. Very understanding of our special needs. I will always recommend this location.

Nice place. Good coffee. Good setting and easy to find off the main road. Mess Harrisburg. 15 min drive. Small pool. Rooms very big and comfortable. Very clean. Lots of places to eat near but mostly fast food

Room was very clean and prices were really fair. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. Was right in the middle of Hershey and Harrisburg making both cities easily accessible.

We stayed here to visit Hershey's Christmas celebration. We don't stay in hotels very often. Maybe five nights a year. But we do anything we can to stay in a Holiday Inn Express. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast in the morning is always great, and that's why we keep going.

I had a baby shower in the meeting room on Sept. 24th, 2017. I had met with Sonia & she was wonderful; booked the room. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I was pleased with how the tables were set up; the staff. They let us set up early & we left later than expected. No one bothered us or rushed us out. I would recommend this place to anyone who is hosting a party for 30 or less.

This hotel is nearby Hershey attractions. They were easily accessible to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a Kuerig machine in the room. There was free breakfast with many options - hot breakfast.

The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean, large and super modern. The gym was really nice as well for those who look to exercise while on the road. Great selection for breakfast as well too. A+ and will stay in again the next time I am in the area

This hotel has nice rooms and one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub for guests. There is a freight train nearby but I never heard it from inside the hotel and our room was on that side of the building. It's about 5 minutes to drive to Hershey Park and very simple. Also, there's restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

Was okay.. not the cleanest and not what I expected from our past experience with HIE. Not bad just not what was expected. Was very modern and up dated. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was fine for an overnight stay.

The TV in our room was a 42" RCA flat-screen and the coffee maker was a Keurig. That alone made me appreciate the dedication the hotel had to keeping its guests happy. Factor in the genuinely personable greetings and attention the staff showed toward us and it was my best stay so far anywhere for 2017. This would definitely make me not only stay here again but use the Holiday Inn Express brand anywhere I go. Thank you for the hospitality!

Nicest 2 star hotel I've been in. Definitely a great value at $90 a night for a standard room with 2 queen size beds. Very clean and awesome area. Convenient to hershey park (10 minutes away) and several food options and stores close by. Would stay here again, for sure.

We went to Hersheypark and this was a great location cuz it was only a few minutes away from the park also it was clean and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The people were amazing and friendly and very helpful and I would definitely come back again.

I had my 3 grand children with me on a mini vacation. Holiday Inn Express was very close to Hershey Park and the downtown museum. The kids had a wonderful time. With the pool, they were able to spend some down time before going to bed.
My only disappointment was the fact that I was told there was shuttle service available from the Inn to the park - but there was not. Thankfully, the park was very close

13 Years Ago In 2004, My Wife & I took Our 3 Children to "HERSHEYPARK" Pa. We decided to STAY at the "HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AT HERSHEY" So that WE could visit "HERSHEYPARK" & ride the MANY RIDES & see ALL of the WONDERFUL SIGHTS & EXHIBITS on display at the PARK. Friends of OURS Strongly RECOMMENDED the "HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AT HERSHEY" & even Called for us to get information for us so that we could make RESERVATIONS. When I called to make OUR RESERVATIONS the young lady on the other end WAS VERY SWEET & VERY HELPFUL. I EXPLAINED that I was DISABLED & She RESERVED A ROOM that was CLOSE to an ELEVATOR that would MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR My Family & I. The STAFF at this "HOLIDAY INN" was VERY UNDERSTANDING of My Situation & the STAFF at the FRONT DESK WEREN'T AFRAID to Answer Any & All Questions. We REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY at the "HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AT HERSHEY" & the GREAT DISCOUNT TICKETS & PASSES were DEEPLY Appreciated by My Family & I. The swimming pool was also NICE, CLEAN & Warm. The ROOM we STAYED IN was really CLEAN, COMFORTABLE & COOL. The ROOM'S AC was a JOY bc it was HUMID during Our stay. & Their CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST was DELICIOUS & ENJOYABLE. The STAFF made OUR STAY a VERY ENJOYABLE & MEMORABLE VACATION. (THANK YOU).

My wife and I stayed overnight on our way back home and were very happy with the hotel. The facility was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Excellent deal not far from Hershey Park.

We had a great stay here. The staff was wonderful and the hotel is close to many amenities.

We stayed during their remodel but it didn't impact our experience. The service was on par and the room was clean with nice little extras. The only down side was one of our two queen beds was with unevenly and lacked support.

ok. I was disappointed in the size of the pool. (very small). In general clean and nice staff.

Very nice location that meets the standards of the brand well. As of now (April) They are under fairly large renovations. The place is coming along nicely but there is definitely noticeable construction.

The staff is extremely friendly though, and the rooms are clean and fresh.

Looking forward to a stay once renovations are complete.

Nice hotel, the tub squeeked when I showered. Breakfast was good, coffee good. Fair price.

The room was nice and clean. Service was awesome. The only complaint was the AC didn't seem strong enough to handle the room. I had to crank it all the way down to get the fan to come on. I asked my friend who also stayrd and their room had the same problem.

Front desk was very pleasant and helpful along with fast easy check-in. Overall this place was very clean from the lobby to the breakfast area to the room I stayed in. The morning breakfast had a very nice selection along with huge proportions which was nice to see for a change. The room was immaculate the bed and the pillows were comfortable and housekeeping was great at providing extra towels. I'm not much of a pool person but I tried it and found the pool to be clean and enjoyable. Overall I would definitely stay at this Holiday Inn Express again.

If you have ever seen the movie "My cousin Vinny" the freight train passing by every 30 or so will tell you about it's location. Other than that it was clean, had adequate rooms and good service.

Parking lot is a bit odd, but we loved everything else about this hotel. The location is good for food and getting to the Hershey Park.

Staff was friendly and fast. Hershey kisses at the desk. Coffee /tea available in the lobby. Complimentary breakfast was widely varied in choices and tasty.

Our room was clean, spacious, modern, quiet, and comfortable. No funny smells anywhere, including the air conditioner/heater.

Overall, we would be back.

Holiday in Harrisburg is an excellent place to stay and extremely convenient and close to eateries and shopping. The hotel is also a 5 minute drive to Hershey. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and ready to meet any of their guest needs. The complimentary continental breakfast is excellent and fresh and also served late on the weekends. Late weekend checkout is another great perk offered by Holiday Inn express. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and would definately stay there again.

The Holiday Inn Express was a great hotel with nice clean rooms and very good beds. The location is great with Hershey about 2 miles away and alot of places to eat right near by.

My family and I stay here everytime we visit Hershey. The hotel is very close to the park...exactly 5 minutes away. Rooms are adequate and the price is right. You have a ton of eating choices around you, as well. The hotel has a pool, fitness center, game room and complimentary breakfast every morning. Everything you want for a great price.

The staff was extremely accomodating, our room was spotless, our hallway was nice and quiet, and check-out was quick and easy. Our room had its own keurig with tea and coffee and was very spacious. The next time I am in the area, I will stay here.

Good breakfast (6:30-9:30am) with quickly replenished hot foods and pool open until 11. Also right next to a Taco Bell and Sheetz for snacking. :-) Quick drive to Hershey Park/Troegs/Giant Center/Tanger Outlets and friendly staff. Rooms are pretty standard.

Not only convenient to Hershey Park, but a great staff. I have no idea as to the post about the pool, it was clean and well kept. The only negatives I had were a) the rooms were painted a bright white (so a minor negative) and b) the public smoking area was set up at the stairs leading from the parking lot to the lobby. When we checked in was smoke break for the staff, so the smell was strong, even when the desk clerk hurried in to check us in. Move the smoking area, please.

We did not book online. We walked in and got one price, then had to wait until 3 to check in, then once we checked in we were told a different price and was charged the second price. The first price we got was for the whole stay, then we checked in and got the bill and it was a totally different price for the rooms. The bills were slipped under the door, charged us a different price yet. If you were to use these rooms you are better off getting it in writing before reserving the room and giving them your payment information. Don't sign anything until you read it. The people at the front desk aren't very friendly and were rude and had attitudes.
