Excellent overnight stay. Room was clean and up dated with some 'Ikea' styled furnishings. The receptionist was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. Breakfast had a wide selection of foods from cooked eggs to toast, cereals and pastries. There is a restaurant and small supermarket next to the hotel. Car park big enough for us to park with a trailer. Some lovely scenery surrounding the hotel.
Only down side - no air conditioning, but there was a fan to use in the room.
Would highly recommend for an overnight stay. We will return if in the area again.

Great location that is a few minutes drive to Lucerne. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is pretty nice. Close to a small Coop and a Marche as well as a kids playground. Rooms are nice but didn't have AC so it got hot in June.

Great place to stay for a night! Clean rooms, polite staff, decent breakfast! If you have dogs you can go for a nice walk into the fields, otherwise you can just go for a walk with some fresh air! Next to the hotel is a rest stop, so you can get some food.
The only downfall is that rooms have no aircon, but in fairness is very fresh there all the time and jumper in the evening is a must!

A good hotel with just one problem of distance from the city which makes it a costly affair. There is no free shuttle to the city and a taxi costs around €45

The hotel has a ravishing location. There is a wonderful restaurant cum departmental store nearby, which provides a picturesque view of the Alps.

We have visited this hotel for 3 days with my family 11 people. We we're very happy to stay. Hotel is totally renovated hence rooms are very good. Intirioer is also very good, breakfast is as usual good.we recommend this hotel to stay.

What a view. You have the children play area and park. COOP in campus. Very helpful staff and Manager. No alcohol served since it is on the Autobahn. View is awesome

As a privilege member of Holiday inn, you get discount and it is convenient if you drive across Europe to discover places. Staying in Lucern is expensive , Holiday inn express provides the best of highway hotel + proximity to tourist places

As HI Platinum members, we were very disappointed in this hotel. Our room and was the smallest European room we've ever seen, as well as the teeny tiny bathroom. The beds were comfy, but there was no air conditioning or refrigerator in the room. Also, counter space in the room was virtually nonexistent. Bathroom amenities included 2 jugs of hand soap - that's all. The good things about this hotel: Breakfast was very good, friendly staff, and free parking. We will not stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located if you are travelling on this Swiss motorway. Staff is very kind and willing to help, breakfast is basic but included in room rate, and dogs stay for free. In terms of comfort it's ok, we stayed twice but I have to say that I don't recommend it during the summer because there's no air-conditioning, the rooms get overheated and the fans don't help much. The windows can only be opened very slightly due to "safety regulations" so basically no way to get fresh air in the rooms.
