Very satisfying service, rooms are nice and clean. Location is central to the city. Some rooms are to the back of the building, where some ventilation systems are running and they can be heard from within the rooms, even if the windows are closed.

Beautiful, clean, well managed and friendly efficient staff. The desk staff were especially welcoming! Add the view of the Empire State Building....and it's a perfect spot to stay!

I was impressed with this gem of a hotel. Small, only a few rooms per floor which kept it quiet. Very clean rooms. Staff is friendly. Breakfast included, simple, but hot and good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, pastries, etc. And walking distance to Times Square. Large deli around the corner that is open until 1AM.

Good location and friendly staff. The rooms are small but it's New York so I would expect that. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of seating.

Comfy room , clean and nice for fair price... Haven't tried breakfast (had other plans) but it looked good and was complementary, so overall great place to stay at midtown due to good value for money , cleaneness and great location. Oh and the staff were very nice either.

Great free breakfast with a room. Comfortable beds. Old towels, maid service needed to be called at 5PM because they never came. Room was still not ready for check in at 5PM. Printer in lobby did not work. Good location.

There are five holiday inn Express hotels in Manhattan. I've stayed in three. This was my favorite of them. It's relatively newly renovated. I didn't have trouble waiting for elevators or breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Located close to time square and the subway it is in a perfect location. The hotel is very well kept, up to date and very clean and comfortable. The staff was always very courteous and cheerful which adds to the pleasure of the stay. The room is very well kept and very current. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. I would definitely come here again when I return to NYC.

Its located in a great spot in mid manhattan. Its walking distance from times square and other attractions. The hotel has great complimentary breafast. The rooms were clean, but small. The size is what you expect in any NYC hotel room. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Just a pass...rooms very small...for 20 levels only 2 lifts and 1 didn't work for 2 days so there was always a long wait to get to your rooms..front desk not overly helpful ....breakfast.was nice had all that you needed but if you could get a table you were lucky.very very small breakfast area....beds were very comfy also...location was great though hence the 3 stars....its a 5/10 motel at best....

Stay here was good and the location was very good. The hotel itself was quiet and we didn't hear other residents at night however the noise outside was a different story and disrupted our sleep. The room was a little small but it was exactly what we expected for a city and it was furnished nicely. Plus the breakfast every morning was great and saved us time and money by not having to go to a restaurant. We found the breakfast selection fine but I'd image some people would find this limited as there isn't really much choice. Overall we had a very good stay and would definitely stay there again.

7

Excellent staff, heated bathroom floors, decent views from the exterior rooms and a solid Continental breakfast. My only complaint is that the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor no matter how hard the door was shut or how the shower head was positioned. Relatively quiet location given the proximity to Times square.

It's located in the heart of midtown. Macy's is a block away as well as many other shopping stores. The hotel and its employees are very professional and courteous. The rooms are nice and cosy. And there's lots to choose from for your breakfast.

Very good location and easy to get to most of the shops there. The front desk staff very friendly. They serve breakfast for free and it's a great. The hotel rooms are small and compact. The only thing that annoying you is elevator otherwise everything is fine.

Friendly staff, clean room, typical NY sized room, modern styling, just off 6th Av by a few Irish restaurants. Free WiFi but could be faster but good enough for traditional use.

Best deal in Midtown Manhattan. Prices reasonable, rooms clean and breakfast is included. That is worth $20 a person if you had to go out and buy it. Rooms are a bit small, but I understand that this is NYC and I don't expect large rooms. Elevators can get busy at times during peek hours, but readily available other times. This is the second time I have stayed there and I love it.

6

Too expensive for what little amenities you get. Great that they have complimentary breakfast, but not a lot of options as far as breakfast goes. Location is good since its near the hop on and off tour buses though. Staff is friendly which is a bonus on my end. Also room is kind of dirty despite housekeepers cleaning the rooms. This is 2nd bad experience I had with Holiday Inn so will probably not book with them again.

Holiday Inn Express Times Square South is an adequate hotel at an adequate price. The room was clean but be aware there is no fridge or microwave. The hotel is pet friendly. Parking is offered across the street for $35 a day. The hotel is located in the garment district and is just a few blocks away from the Library and Times Square. No frills but it gives you a decent place to sleep.

The hotel is fine. You can find everything you need. Just some small things quite annoying: breakfast place is too small therefore there is no space in rush hour. Also an elevator is frequently blocked by hotel staff and you need to wait up to 5 minutes...

Great rooms, excellent pillows, those put me to sleep in minutes. I wish breakfast was a tad earlier for those us with a bit earlier days (06:30 maybe), as I was out the door a bit before 7. Excellent place to stay if you want to be close to all the main spots.

Everything was ready on time with a courteous and efficient welcome. Room was clean and all amenities were in order. Location was great being central to top attractions around Times Square. Breakfast was good. Hotel holds on to your baggage after checkout until the end of the day, which was super convenient to complete the rest of the day touring the city in peace.

Stayed in 2 different Holiday Inns in NYC. They were less than a mile apart. This hotel"s facility was much nicer and the bed was much more comfy. Seemed like the rooms were bigger... but the city view wasn't as nice... nor was the breakfast or staff.
Request for a late checkout initially denied... after some back and forth they agreed... but didn't authorize the key... so it was a challenge..
Nice pub next door with nice drink and dinner special.
All in all I would stay here again!

Prefect location , clean rooms and bed facilities. The towels were changed on daily basis. Good and strong WiFi reception.

The staff is not so welcomed , they didn't familiar with Booking's Genius program and didn't agreed to provide late check out as it was stated during booking process , (luckily I am a member of IHG program as well...) The breakfast is average and below , the dining place is crowded and too small. The air conditioning system should be easy to to maintain

-The check in staff was great. -The overnight staff was nonexistent. My keys stopped working at 2am. When I finally got ahold of the overnight worker, he was annoyed to have to rekey my cards. -They have bathroom signs that says basic toiletries are available, but they don't actually have them. I asked for a toothbrush that I was told they never had. -The checkout was a real bummer. My hotel rooms were packaged with parking. The checkout employee didn't bother to listen when she was asked if all that was needed for a stamp for the parking that was included- after she stamped our tickets. 25 minutes & an argument with the parking attendant, the hotel employee admitted she stamped our tickets incorrectly. (The parking lot demanded payment pretty aggressively). I'm actually pretty disappointed. I've never seen ihg properties treat their guests- let alone platinum guests- like that. Happy birthday to me.

Relatively decent sized accommodations. Modern and well appointed. Down side limited number of slow elevators not nearly close to being properly functional for a venue of this size. During peak hours yoyr best option is your own legs via the stairs.

The rooms here are small and way overpriced and the hotel staff are some of the rudest people on the face of this Earth. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and I'm also a native of New York City and they just act like they don't care about you or value your business whatsoever. They are extremely rude and discourteous. They have a very poor attitude and nasty demeanor. They do not treat you like a valued customer whatsoever. I have had a number of issues with this hotel which I have reported to IHG customer service. Most of my complaints were about being overcharged or mysteriously charged for services at this hotel. Including an incident where I was charged almost three days in advance for a one night stay that caused me a huge inconvenience because I was charged over $200. This is definitely well below my expectations of a hotel

Room was smaller than most Holiday Inn Express hotels, however were were in the heart of NYC so it was expected. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. We did not try their hot breakfast because there was a Chick-fil-A around the corner. The hotel was accessible to pretty much anything we wanted. We walked to a Pho restaurant, a local bar right next to the hotel had a band, we did an escape room nearby, and shopped at a Macy's nearby.

Great location. It is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, subway stations and many attractions such as the Empire State Building and Times Square.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good enough to feed us in the morning and get our day started.

Taxi from and to La Guardia airport ranged from $40-$50 due to traffic.

Room was a bit small, but I guess that's normal out there.

Overall, enjoyed it as I used reward points to stay so it cost $0 and would stay there again.
