Nicely located, friendly staff, guides you about the city.

Beyond all the basic stuff that a good hotel should have this one has some extras!
Such as fantastic design of bathroom space with 2 doors that swing 90 degree and create 3 isolated cells for toilet, vanity and shower.
Hotel also offer bottled water and towels at lobby for those who want to enjoy running at the beautiful Drava river bank.
I’ll put a photo taken at room at 6th floor so you enjoy the view as I did!

Suitable stay for area. Room 504 shower needs better drain, after 90 seconds you are standing in an inch of water.

Das Rewe Eigenmarkenseminar fand im Holiday Inn statt. Toller Ausblick, sehr schöne Seminarräume und ausgezeichnetes Essen.

Great place to stay in Villach. Close to train station. Clean rooms, nice view and enviorment.

Located at the center of the city and on the banks of river drau really good place to stay and rooms are little congested but breakfast is really awesome and also the bar, Bar has nice collection of liquors really loved it overall thumbs up for the guys who visit this place.

This is the first time I stay in such a nice hotel in Europe. Other hotels claim to be a four stars but has a service like a 2 star hotel in Asia. The service was nice, room nice, and the breakfast is THE BEST that I had experienced. Price is high for Villach but, worth it.

Very nice stay in this hotel. The room are comfortable and the place for breakfast offers a view on moutains. Just cross the bridge and you are in the old city ...

Love this place. Lift requires access card, rental bicycle, breakfast buffet was phenomenal, and great location.

Great hotel, great food

This is one of my favorite hotels in one of my favorite towns in the world. Very clean, stylish, and hip. It would be nice if the US hotels even held a candle to the Holiday Inn in Villach.

Great check in experience, nice rooms and decent breakfast. Was only here two nights and can't complain.

Excellent Hotel in central location. I've stayed there for a conference and enjoyed the hotel as well as the food they served for lunch and dinner.

The rooms were wonderful and the location is great but the stay unfortunately was not comfortable.
When we arrived we asked the lady at the reception if we can get help with our bags, but surprisingly she told us that she was the only one working right now even though it is noon.

And I spent two nights in a hot room, I barely got any sleep. The air conditioning was very poor, and unfortunately it wasn't cold outside as well. We called the reception and ask for help with this but they notified us that there is no air conditioning in the room even though there was a dial, before checking out I found out that the room of one of our companions were cold and indeed the air conditioning was working.

Plus the internet keeps logging out after exceeding 1000MB of data, which made it very hard to backup my trip photos.

To sum up: the rooms are hot, annoying internet and it's understaffed.
Honestly I expected more from holiday inn.

It was a great stay. The food was delicious, the room was nice, and it had a great view of the river that it's located on. I would stay here again.

Good position in Villach next to the function center. Only critical point was the magnetic card. I had to go down twice to get my card reset.

Rooms have a good view and good standard. Only thing was the grouting in the bathroom.

Moderne Zimmer, schnelles WLAN und ein relativ großes Buffet zur Frühstückszeit bestechen erst zu einer guten Rezension. Allerdings bergt das Hotel einige Mängel; beispielsweise wirkt das Personal noch recht unerfahren und hat einige Probleme mit dem Kundenumgang. Durch die hohen Preise und diesen Problemchen zögern wir dieses Hotel zu empfehlen oder davon abzuraten. Entscheiden Sie einfach selbst, ein allzugroßer Fehlgriff ist es definitiv nicht!
