ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

It was nice to have a full fridge to store things. The breakfasts were good with a nice variety of hot and cold items. The room was clean-although the dining table head a spot on the side where it looked like something had dried on it and have been scrubbed hard enough for it to come off, and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. What was really nice is that when we left the "do not disturb" tag on the door, housekeeping didn't disturb our room at all. The bed was quite good for a hotel of this caliber! One down side was that on a Sunday morning, when we showered around 8 or 9, there wasn't enough hot water for a comfortable shower. Not cold, but definitely not hot. Just barely warm enough.

The hotel was nice. The TV went out due to being hit by lightning. Was out for a couple days. Then we didn't get all the channels. The pool was chilly for being indoors. We asked for extra towels didn't get them til our last night. The room itself was perfect except no bathtub. I have a one year old and needed a bathtub. We had reserved the room with a kitchen as we stayed a week. The women at the desk were always friendly and nice. Even maitnence was nice and would ask if we needed anything. All in all a great stay

Room was very nice and spacious, the AC was a lil far from the bed so we got a lil hotter at night. Pool was nice and friendly staff! Even have beer in the guest shop!

We had a two room suite with all of the associated amenities. Nothing could have been provided to make the stay any nicer.

Online, we accidentally selected a smoking room instead of non-smoking. At the desk, they accommodated us very well and went out of their way to make it work for us to have a non-smoking room. There are a few musty type odors throughout the hotel, and that’s why no five star rating.

They were very helpful. There was a mess up with my reservation, and their willingness to assist me really made our stay pleasant.

We missed breakfast by 15 minutes though...and the breakfast attendant was nice enough to get us yogurt. 👍

A great place to stay while in Colorado Springs. A very reasonable price to stay in a convenient location. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special shout out to Kassandra who made our travel coordination easy - YOU ROCK! Free breakfast daily and an awesome social hour from Monday through Thursday. Can't beat a light meal with free beer and wine after a busy day....Keep up your outstanding service, Homewood Suites Staff - YOU ARE ALL AWESOME!

Great location, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, staff was helpful to make sure your stay is pleasurable. Clean warm Pool well maintained with towels which is nice. Friendly Staff to accommodate any issue you may have... because of the accommodating staff and policy's I give a 5 star otherwise it would be worse, glad they are remolding rooms as some of the carpeting is needed along with the pull outs have seen better days on some. I wish that every hotel would have evening social everyday, but understand...

Stayed for one night. Didn't realize my room was going to have full kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, full size fridge, etc, so this hotel would be great for extended stay. Complimentary breakfast was good, and they also offered rotating complimentary dinner events on weekdays, which looked interesting. Overall, and enjoyable stay.

Make sure to check that you are not booking a smoking room, as they do have both options at this hotel. But it is ultimately on you, like it was me, if you accidentaly book a smoking room. There is not too much special about this hotel except for the staff. I stay at a lot of Hilton Brand hotels, and the hospitality that I received from the front desk at this hotel was above and beyond. It isn't the nicest hotel in Colorado Springs, and is due for some renovations, but the customer service is second to none.
Thanks for the enjoyable night's stay
Sincerely,
Satisfied Guest

The Homewood Suites had all the amenities we needed to make this trip a good one! A pool, a fitness center, and a warm breakfast! The staff were friendly and the room was clean. It was nice to stay somewhere where the sound didn't carry within the suite.

Very clean hotel. We stayed in a large suite with 2 rooms. 5 adults and 4 kids under 6 with more than enough room. Great breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Location was very close to airport and not far off I-25.

I do prefer Hilton but I was given your where the cleaning service clearly doesn't look around. There was quite a few blood spots on the backside of the door and wall and hair clump on the bed.iwasgivenanewroom butaroomwhere the key card was broken and needed to use a physical key. I understand stuff happens but this is not acceptable for a Hilton property.

It was as expected. Delivered exactly what we needed, a hotel room with closed door to living room so we could have pravacy with in laws. We grabbed breakfast before it officially started which was nice. Only downside was roof work started@ 830 am. We were already awake, but still

I stayed there for 2 weeks. I stayed on the top floor, which smelled of cigarettes and weed. There is only TWO washers and TWO dryers for the entire hotel, which you have to pay for.
They offer food Monday through Thursday. The food some days ended up being hotdogs and salads. They do offer beer and wine. The staff running the meals were extremely nice.
The furniture in the room wasn't the best. I ended up asking for a blanket to cover the couch. Everything else was pretty much standard. The room was a really nice size. The room had 2 thermostats. You'd set it for cold and later the heat would turn on. Just about every night it would be over 80 from swtiching on its own. Didn't have an issue with room service. The maids were very nice as well.
When checking in the woman told me she couldn't look up my reward number to earn a free night. So if you don't have your card then look up your numbers before hand.
They do have a nice pool. It is always being worked on. It was closed 3 or 4 times while staying here.
Over all this place needs an upgrade. For being labeled as a Hilton, is doesn't live up to the standards.

This hotel is would be really good for certain people, namely families who want a kitchen and separate living room where the kids can sleep on a pull out couch, dog owners, or people who will be staying a couple weeks and want an apartment type set up. But as a single business traveler the place was just me. All the staff were very pleasant, but the rooms are a bit dated and the carpet dingy (probably from all the pets and kids). On the plus side, breakfast, dinner and WiFi are free. I didn't try the dinner, but breakfast was just ok. There is also an indoor pool, small fitness room and on site sundries shop. Next time when on business I'll probably stay at the Hilton Garden Inn just up the street.

We are getting ready to check in yet, so this review is based just on the customer service experience I have had over the phone. The hotel has been extremely accommodating and friendly! We are going to be staying there for the entire month of June and are looking forward to it!

Overall good. Free breakfast is meh. Waffles are good, but the eggs look dangerous. The rooms are nice. My rooms had stains all over the carpet. I just imagined it was a crime scene at some point. There was a weird smell in the room that took a few days to air out.

The Homewood Suites has always been my go-to hotel of choice for all my travel both professionaly and for pleasure. The Homewood Suites Colorado Springs has been just as wonderful as the rest. The staff has been nothing but friendly and even helped me check in early as my room was not ready when I arrived. And being from Ohio...The view is second to none! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

This was a very nice hotel. Quiet. No bugs. One thing disturbed me though. Our suite was clean to an extent. Meaning the used bandaid on the bathroom floor and the cheap hot red wet & wild lipstick under the bed didn't mean the room itself was dirty. That was a but disturbing when my little girl found BOTH of them. Also, for the price you would kind of expect there not to be marks all over the walls. Either way, we did have a nice stay besides that but for the price you pay to stay there, you would expect it to be immaculate and not have to pick up a biohazard off of the bathroom floor.

Service is good and everything is clean, though the hotel feels outdated. Fitness center is miniscule (no free weights). Breakfast was very good--selection of hot food and fresh fruit was great.

This is an older hotel, not terribly old like back in WWII or something. But it has seen better days. The room is relatively smaller than an average Homewood Suites. I already saw a few cosmetic fixes in the bathroom and such. But it is still a decent stay, better than Hotel 6 or Days Inn and such. There is plenty of parking around. The overall design of the hotel is bad because you may have to walk all the way around to your room, if you aren't familiar with the hotel's layout.

When I went to my room, the card keys didn't work. So I called the front desk and they told me to come back. Then they said that they couldn't find the card keys for the room. This is mind boggling. I thought the purpose of card key being re-programmable. Am I out of my mind or something? Anyway, I had to go to another room.

A terribly average experience. I don't stay at Hilton properties for average. One working dryer at a long term stay hotel and from other guests my understanding is the other had been down for more than a month. House keeping was spotty. Things like not replacing the toliet paper when the spare roll was used or putting a bath mat back in the room.

Decent hotel. We spent 5 days here while vacationing in Colorado Springs. The suite was nice, but with the hotel being completely booked for our stay, the staff couldn't keep up with the demand for towels and cleaning the suite.

Breakfast was disappointing every morning. The usual Belgian waffles, and a sausage choice; be it sausage links, sausage patties, sliced sausage (maybe Italian sausage or kielbasa), scrambled eggs with peppers, Southwest scrambled eggs (I think that's what the label said), never any plain scrambled eggs and no cheese to melt on them. The juices were OK, sometimes cranberry, orange, and grape. Mostly a juice that tasted like Tang.

The evening "appetizers" were not what was listed on the menu provided. I know it's not meant to be a meal, but it could have been much better.

The coin laundry offered left a lot to be desired. One washing machine was out-of-order, as well as one dryer. The dryer that "worked" didn't get the clothes dry due to the door falling off into the maintenance man's hand. Thankfully, the staff allowed us to have our clothes dried in their industrial dryer.

My understanding is the Homewood Suites here is under new ownership or management, and I understand working out all the kinks and quirks. All in all, this was a nice place to stay and will be much nicer when all the quirks are ironed out. I would definitely stay here again

This place has tons of potential. The room itself wasn't bad, but the hotel staff seemed to care very little about the cleanliness of the hotel. On the first day I saw a stack, yes a stack, of dirty dishes and silverware on top of a trashort can near our elevator and there was a piece of dog feces on the floor in our hallway. Since they are pet friendly this wasn't a big surprise. However, when we went for breakfast the next day the feces was still in the hallway and the dishes were still on the trash can. I informed the front desk and they were promptly removed, but there is no possible way the staff didn't see these they previous day. The prices were reasonable and the rooms were clean except for the carpet, which was stained. Again, this is a pet friendly hotel so some stains are expected. Overall our stay was ok, but I would likely look elsewhere during our next visit to Colorado Springs.

I hate to complain about free food but... breakfast this morning was canadian bacon and hashbrowns pretty good but limited. The free dinners ran out quickly. There was something wrong with the tvs a flicker every few seconds making it unwatchable. Checked out due to this. Upon checkout, the reason i am writing this negative review, the girl behind the desk was showing some pretty nasty tracks in both arms. I walked away wondering if she can get into peoples rooms. I called corporate who asked me what i wanted them to do about it. So here we are
