Beautiful, we stayed here recently.. very impressed the service we received. I booked thinking we were going to stay in the actual estate.. the website was a little misleading as it only show pictures of the estate. But that didn't spoil our weekend.

Fantastic Hotel, I stayed in the newly refurbished Towers. Delightful grounds and it has been decorated to beautiful modern yet preserving history. Perfect for conferences, weddings and even for a wonderful escape to the Outstanding beauty of Surrey!

I've stayed here a couple times for business recently. Very nice place. Breakfast could be better for a veggie, but you won't go hungry. Smart bar and good menu there too. Rooms have all you need. I'll have to be careful what I say, I'm back there in a couple days. :)

The mansion is splendid, though it could be better maintained. Many of the most interesting parts are not accessible.
The hotel, restaurant and conference centre are very good but could improve on cleanliness of the rooms.
They even have a games room which is great for parties.

Got a brilliant deal direct from the hotel. Lovely facilities. 4 stars because the courtyard gardens need some love. Particularly, the ponds need a good clean and a couple more water plants. Restaurant is excellent and service exemplary.

2⭐ Room - The 1st room was dusty and very small, rooms are better in a Premier Inn than this place. The 2nd room was a suite and much better although our safe wouldn't work and in our friend's room, they had a cake in their safe!!
1⭐ Cleanliness - even though we had changed rooms, house keeping wasn't very good, our bathroom still had our loose hair on the floor and sinkhole and they didn't even replace our used mugs and spoons
4⭐ Breakfast - very nice, a good range of cooked and continental breakfast with a wide range of cooked eggs
1⭐ Location - Hidden away and not very well sign posted, even with GPS, ended up on a private road, feel sorry for the residents
5⭐ Service at breakfast - superb, friendly staff, offered us top ups on our hot drinks and cleared our used dishes efficiently. The staff gently reminded us the kitchen was about to close and asked if require anymore cooked food before closing this station
5⭐ Lounge - free access to hot drinks and cookies. Very nice touch
4⭐ Appearance - Lobby and downstairs look clean and tidy. Upstairs and bedrooms, if you don't mind the dust and the lack of cleaning. Outside surroundings, lovely mansion and free to have a look around.

My room was very nice. Part of a wedding party. However my friend found bed bugs in their room in the main hotel bit. Management said they will need to confirm that they are bed bugs before they act on it!

A curious mix of convention centre and hotel even by De Vere standards. But it works and there's a good gym and excellent pool too. Loads of parking. Food was good and the room was comfortable too, choose one with air-con.

OK. No more than that. Made a major mess up of our booking on first night, agreed price on phone then tried to charge more when checked out. booked breakfast and then didn't have our booking when we went to have breakfast following morning. All a bit messyreally. It was shame as it could potentially be a realky good hotel staff were nice, kettle didn't work in room and took forever to get it changed. Restaurant was horrific.... Don't go if you want a romantic meal. OK if staying away with work as I was. Functional but no more than that. Not as grand as you would hope if you read the advertising. Also get a good price...phone direct. We agreed £64 per night for a double room.

Hotel was dirty and over priced for what it was. The pictures let you think your staying in a castle or edwardian type place but it is far from that. How ever the staff were friendly and there's also a lot of greenery around it.

Horsley estate is a lovely place rich on history. The grounds are well maintained with a lovely moat. Very good for Weddings, conferences and even just a leisure break. The food was tasty. However, the breakfast chef could not make an omelette! Too busy. Can you imagine that. Overall, the staff were friendly but rooms small for my taste.

Great hotel. I wished I stayed longer to make full use of the facilities.
The rooms are maybe a bit outdated or could definitely do with an upgrade to match the rest of the facilities. They are not very big and the bathroom isn't outstanding either but still clean and quite comfortable in general. I was definitely surprised by the quality of the iron as I went for work and had to iron a couple of shirts.
The breakfast is good which is always a plus and adds value to the experience.
There is a gym and a very nice indoor swimming pool which is open from 6am until 10pm.

Room was very nice although only one bath towel was given for two occupants but this was rectified promptly. Had all the conveniences required in stunning grounds. Will try the pool next time.

Hotel is like a old people's home. The rooms are o.k. but need up dating I've spent less money on b&b.s. for better value. Don't be fooled by the picture you don't stay in the hall. All in all over priced. On the up side the breakfast was very good you can eat as much as you like.

It is a beautiful place to go. I attended a wedding there and it was very beautiful full of History. The only bad thing about this place what's the price of the drinks and the lighting other and that it was lovely

Great setting, dedicated staff with fantastic attitude. Nice rooms with quality beds, good restaurant, excellent surroundings.
If De Vere hadn't decommissioned the sauna it would've been 10/10...

Good venue- attended a masters business weekend here for university and had a great time. The facilities were clean and always stocked. The service was good and the food at the buffet was nice. The service and meal at the Horsley Towers for our evening party was fantastic and the karaoke bar was very fun.

Very nice place, great hospitality. Do have limited phone📱& data signals in some areas! Though that might be due to the castle having 8 foot thick walls in some places & the architects weren't probably thinking about Facebook at the time 😀

Stayed as overnight guest, room comfortable, lovely surroundings, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice gym with quiet a good selection of equipment. Changing rooms small but functional. Nice pool but the facilities would really benefit from having a sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi. Overall very nice if a little pricey for what you get. Well done.

Stayed for business and found the rooms fairly standard but comfortable. Loved the gym and the pool, only ate in the bar in the evening but the food was really good so no complaints! Also enjoyed the breakfast, a really wide choice which was nice to see

Great hotel at a great price. Quite a variety of rooms and prices too. Could do with more plug sockets beside the beds. An absolutely beautiful place in the Hampshire countryside.

Plenty of amenities in a nice environment. Fitness centre and swimming pool can make your stay exciting.bar and restaurant good for everyone.family/ couples /business/ individuals. Price is ok.some rooms may be small. usually there is a closing time at 22:00 for kitchen, swimming pool, fitness, would prefer to stay open for longer. If you plan to stay in the hotel it worths it.if you use it only to sleep you can find cheaper perhaps.

Very good en-suite rooms and communal areas. Great food and plenty of it. Showers could do with a little more burst of water. Decent sized meeting/conference rooms. Great outdoors.

Lovely grounds and position. However, spent the day using a meeting room that was freezing cold and lacked any heat. Also decided against the provided buffet dinner option and walked to local pub. On the plus side the rooms were well maintained and comfortable although again a little cold.

I got married here two weeks ago... it was the best wedding my guest said they have been too they said it was like a royal wedding.. the staff at the towers couldn’t do anymore for you.. worked 14 hours straight just to make our day perfect... the towers room have been updated which are amazing.. all my guest where treated with great respect .. honesty if you don’t have your Weddings here you won’t get the treatment you need for a wedding anywhere else.. I’m still blown away about the staff and the venue.. I want to do it all again and I am next year for my one year anniversary

The estate is now a well run hotel and conference and training centre that allows the general public to book surplus hotel rooms when available.

There's a gym, restaurant and bar available to all residents and which are normally chargeable.

The room l used had a decent sized bed, air-conditioning an ensuite and TV.

There's adequate parking which is barrier controlled and good disabled access.

Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Attended the Devere Horsley for a work event and wow what a stunning venue, from the towers to the fields the views are a piece of art. The staff who helped out at the event were all very friendly as extremely helpful. The inside of the section we were in was well fitted out and worked perfectly for a conference like ours. I can only speak for the parts I saw but I would certainly recommend.

The service at hotel is phenomenal! Yes, it is a 3star property, that too quite old if I may add but the hotel staff is just lovely! I need some assistance and the receptionist (Teodora, god bless her!) was very gracious and supportive. Even the staff at restaurant and housekeeping are very cheerful and courteous. The hotel property is just beautiful, typically used for weddings but I'm staying here as a business traveller and highly recommend it to everyone!

6

The roam was quite small and whilst clean enough had a scent upon arrival. I think there are differences in the rooms though and depends how fully booked the venue is. Standard items and nothing special in the rooms. The food was good and the staff mostly friendly and helpful. I would say the breakfast had no vegetarian alternatives (even to order). I believe the venue is large so I'd try it again (possibly)

Stayed at the hotel overnight in the 'deluxe' room and had a fantastic stay! Staff were very welcoming, pool was lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. Also the estate itself was absolutely beautiful to go around! Only negatives were that the air conditioning didn't seem to work especially well. Would recommend to anyone!

The hotel and facilities are very good. The staff are extremely helpful and look to make your stay the best they can. I personally find the hotel far too warm overnight and with no air con I sometimes wake up with a headache. Food can take a little while to arrive but very nice!

Photos are misleading as you actually stay in a hospital like building next to the estate home not like what the pictures suggested very disappointed. Staff were very unwelcoming throughout our stay and as I work in customer service, the customer service was extremely poor. Overall disappointed with this de vere hotel.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area and the grounds are impressive. The staff is friendly and polite and the food is tasty. However... The reason I've marked it 3 out of 5 is because it is not prefect. The double room we had was tiny. Suitable for one person really. The restaurant told me some of the the dishes are unavailable even through the couple sat next to us was served a meal I asked for earlier on. The room we had was No. 1. It is next to the reception and the fire door. It was extremely noisy all night and in the early morning. Not a good night sleep, I am afraid. On checkout the reception asked for feedback and this is the feedback I've provided. Sadly my feedback was dismissed and I've left with a feeling that the feedback was wasted. Except that, it is a nice place and I would stay there again, just not so close to reception and not in a double room. Upgrade will be necessary to a bigger, comfortable size.

Booked this hotel last minute so didn't pay full price, thankfully.

Although the hotel is clean and tidy we had a couple of issues with our stay. The main one of these being the competencies of the staff.

When ordering food we were informed that the menu was limited to the bar menu and then the items we wanted were not available, we ordered different meals which were nice but while eating our food another couple were able to order the food we originally wanted without a problem ?

The next morning on checkout we were politely asked " how was your stay?" To which I replied that the room was not brilliant and I had a bad nights sleep, I am sure I said this in a clear and easy to understand fashion but this fell on deaf ears ?? Why ask the question if you are going to ignore the answer ??

Our room was number 1 (not in ranking...)which was located next to reception with the reception door banging all night which was very loud in the room.
Then at around 0630 the door stopped banging as it was propped open, at last! Some sleep. Unfortunately 10 mins after that the reception became a hub for what seemed to be the whole team of staff for the estate to which we could hear everything. The room also had a lovely window which when you pull the curtains back opened out on to a busy smoking area where people could smoke 30cm away from the window and look directly in to the room and bed which(which was tiny).

Am sure the other rooms are ok but rather small.
PS, breakfast was ok 😀

Expansive premises with lots of interesting ancient constructions nearby. The facilities for corporate events are very good indeed with good projectors, screen. Rooms could have been slightly better given their high price - they are on the smaller side and I experienced little annoyances like a blown bulb in one of the lamps, hair/body wash not refilled after house cleaning - which does show lack of attention to detail.

Paid £29 on a deal, got a small double more suitable for single occupancy than a couple; personally I'd recommend Premier Inn for better room accommodation. Refreshment stations provide tea & coffee but no soft drinks. Beautiful grounds and the Tower (a 5 mins walk from the main building) where weddings are held is picturesque. On site restaurant quite pricey, drinks reasonable.
