Great location for the hydro rooms spacious but no shower gel or shampoo you will need to have your own, but I would use this hotel again

We didn’t stay just went for drinks & pudding before comedy show.
I would like to say that Scott (Team leader) went far & beyond to make our night really good. He made us feel really welcome, such a gentleman, you really know how to do customer service. 👋👋👋

The room was excellent, but let down by only a blanket on the single bed. Had to ask for extra pillows ( only got one extra) and had to ask for another duvet for the single bed. Staff very friendly, and helpful but food was overrated, the steak was inedible when told staff said would let chef know. No apology. The fish was from frozen pack not fresh the pie reheated from frozen. Needless to say no one in the group enjoyed the meal. If I was to go again I would go elsewhere for a meal. Other than this the stay was enjoyable.

I needed a dog friendly hotel for five nights before I moved into my new house. I was nervous about it. So many dog friendly places are just dog accepting. I needn’t have worried. This was the perfect choice. The staff are amazing. Super friendly and not corporate, which I hate. They all made my dog feel welcome, really welcome. Staying here has made my whole moving situation much less stressful. In fact, it’s felt like a holiday, and I’ve kind of rediscovered Glasgow! I’ve stayed in fancy hotels all over the world but I’ve never felt as relaxed as here. Thanks to all the staff. You’re awesome!

Lovely lovely staff from reception, to bar to night porter.

Clean and tidy rooms too (which is very important).

The only reason I've dropped to 4* is the lack of parking. There is a small car park,; but it seems to get full quickly and the car park next to the hotel car park has a parking limit of 4-hours.

If you eat at the round house, they're happy to add your car to the system to get free overnight parking... ;-)

Un hotel muy confortable. Fui de paso y me sorprendió para bien. Aunque está retirado del centro de Glasgow, cumple con todo lo que buscaba: buen servicio, limpieza y la comida estupenda.

Comfortable clean room. Enjoyed good night's sleep despite room facing road. Reception staff very pleasant. Have stayed there a couple of times and will be returning soon. Managed to get final parking space although it was after 9pm before I arrived.

Basic and clean. However, drainage being done outside and spread to my bathroom. Whilst they moved me the next morning without fuss, it seems they knew all about it and were selling the room anyway. Breakfast was a small hot and continental buffet, and for regular eaters fine. I'm gluten free so not so much choice but this is pretty standard everywhere so won't rate them down for it.. the ladies at breakfast were very friendly and attentive. The venue is a 3 minute walk from the SECC so if you're working or visiting here and don't need luxury, this is a great place to stay.

5

Relatively low cost , comfortable and convenient for local exhibition and conference halls . Rooms small but clean. Flat screen TV in room but badly located if someone working at desk or using the mirror to make up etc. Probably could ask for more but not enough pillows in the room. Free on site parking but on a first come first served basis . Not much to do in the immediate area after a show at 11pm but short taxi ride to Glasgow city centre.

Perfectly adequate. The poor guy who checked in before us returned to the desk while we checked in - he was given a key card and room that was still occupied! Glad this didn't happen to us, a little concerning...

Helpful and friendly service. Rooms were clean and newish. Close to the event centre and if you are visiting you can catch the hop on and off tourist bus from across the road. Limited parking for free in the lot. The train station is about 10minute walk away. Not super central but still well situated.

The place to stay if going to concert at Hydro. Staff really helpful as required more pillows and we're ready for when we came back in. If booking online and disabled access room req advised once booking done call hotel and they will allocate suitable room. After excellent 30 Seconds to Mars concert at Hydro pure bliss just walk across road crawl I to cosy bed knowing breakfast sorted and late checkout.

Have had plenty of stays in the past with no problems, but visited for lunch recently and was left a bit disappointed. My chicken katsu curry was a let-down and others with us weren't able to order some staple items due to shortages.

These guys were super-friendly and helpful. Even in the middle of a bank holiday I. T. crash which meant they had to escort every guest to their room every time they came in, the atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming. The room was clean, everything worked perfectly and the beds were comfy. Will definitely visit again, and would recommend to anyone.

The plumbing smelt like poop! The smell was coming from the drains and the water! The water could not have been drinkable with that smell coming from it!

I would add that the wall were very thin and as such I can confirm that our neighbours in room 405 were very satisfied, on multiple occasions and throughout the night.

Over all, I would stay again as it was good value for money (didn't have the breakfast) and the staff were lovely!

Very close to the secc and train station!

The room size was a decent size and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was very good too. So close to the Hydro it was great just walking over the road after the concert.

We had a stay for one night on 22nd January 2018. Arriving after a very long drive the staff sorted us at reception in quick efficient time in a polite and friendly manner. The room was perfectly comfortable with everything we needed and immaculately clean, we had a dring and a meal in the cafe and again the barman and staff were a credit to their job, food was great and reasonably priced too, breakfast was lovely and again the staff were a credit to their job, smartly turned out and polite.
Everything about our one night stay was five star and unusually we had absolutely no gripes and would take a detour to return!

First time staying here but definitely won't be the last. Affordable, clean, spacious room with everything you need. Comfortable bed too. We didn't use the restaurant their menu looked to offer a wide variety of meals at reasonable prices.

The hotel was very basic not as good as a premier Inn. The restaurant had hardly anything available, no rose wine, no mushrooms, no pizza and hardly any white wine options. All night I could hear a strange noise In the water pipes. Also the front reception staff on arrival were quite unhelpful and rude. A Pizza delivery man in front of us was treated quite embarrassingly and he wasn't very helpful when it came to advising us where to park. The bedsheets were also marked and we didn't get any hand towels. The only reason I have given 3 stars is due to the location of the hotel and the staff in the restaurant.

Confusing arrangement for the limited parking available which is shared and charged by the adjacent rotunda restaurant. Poor hospitality arrangement s with only one temperamental drinks machine for whole seminar audience.

8

Pleasant little hotel in a great area for easy access to the SECC or Hydro. A short taxi to the City Center too.

I only attended for a conference but found the place to be of a relatively high standard and had a nice bar/breakfast setup.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, so I would definitely come back if looking for a place in the area again.

4

The staff was very pleasent. After waiting over 40 minutes for our main they gave us our drinks for free which was nice. However the "katsu chicken" had no flavour. A small amount of boiled rice with two chargrilled chicken breast with a bland sauce on top. No effort put in.

5

Clean, well located, ready to get to. Coffee, tea etc all satisfactory. Conference room is quite wide, so those at on the left and right are not well placed to view the small projection screen and room rather bright for the projection. So a comfortable venue for a meeting but AV could be better. Not terrible though.

The position is excellent. A minute's walk from all iconic sporting and concert venues. Close to the Rotunda restaurants. You do pay extra for internet and breakfast in the restaurant is extra. There is an extensive menu or you are in walking distance of a variety of eating places. Plenty of parking just don't forget to get the code to exit the carpark!
Tea and coffee was supplied as well as television and ensuite. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Very budget stay. Was reasonably quiet, but the hose on our shower head was broken. The room was nice and the bed was reasonably comfortable as well. The continental breakfast was nice, and all of the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I'd stay again, if we want to be walking distance from the Kelvingrove Museum or University of Glasgow.

Only attended a meeting there so can't say anything about the rooms but the staff were friendly and helpful. Tea & coffee facilities were adequate, meeting rooms were fine. Chairs were a little uncomfortable for long periods and the projector in one of the rooms needs replacing.

7

The service in the bar and restaurant were good. To be honest I thought the room charge should have been a bit cheaper and was overpriced. Small basic room which had hairs in one of the beds. If the stay had been for any longer than one night I would have complained.

Check in was seamless, having stayed here before we knew what to expect, good service and nice clean rooms. We were on the 3rd floor, room was very large although not the nicest of rooms it was very clean. Bathroom was large however last time we stayed the room was very modern however this one wasn't however as it was just for one night it did the job. Breakfast was really nice, good choice both at the continental area and cooked buffet area. Would stay here again based on the location, cleanliness and service.

Food was amazing possibly best food ive ever had highly recomend beef chillie toped nachos 😋 and the rooms were good shower was brilliant only problem only 20 mins free wifi but at same time only £3 for 24 hours so not so bad. Dire. Food undercooked - pink burger, anyone? Sauce and ketchup bottles empty and encrusted with dried condiment. Bar shut at 10pm with no room service on gig nights.

6

Very friendly staff. Decent internet which is included if you book through campanile. Breakfast was great to and a fiver each. Good location for secc. We walked 2 miles into central Glasgow which was fun. Rooms clean and tidy shower is great. Room was air-conditioned. Plenty of parking and you need the coffee to get a car out of the car park. The bed would suit most people but I found it too soft hence the neutral rating for me. But for most people they would find it great. All in all a nice hotel at a good price

My husband and I stayed at the Campanile on 30 May 2015 as part of our 25 wedding anniversary celebration.
The hotel was easy to find and situated near the river
The room was very clean and a good size and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly the bar manager and staff,
There is a very nice Indian Restaurant just across the road, and the area is full of new build used for the Commonwealth Games, which was quite interesting
The only small downside was the internet connection was not free, and the towels could be a bit bigger
All in all the stay was very pleasant

Decent clean rooms and service is good,
Diner restaurant is an absolute disaster:
quantity and quality is bellow any standards.
After my complaint, the manager offered me at no cost onion rings, and again the quality bellow standard.

Next day I had an excellent diner next door in La Rotunda
