Rooms and hallways getting a bit tired now it is a Mercure and not a Best Western, very limited menu in the restaurant but many good restaurants available for a 10 minute walk

I have stayed here many times over the years with different people owning the hotel.

Nothing really has changed.

I do think the hotel is expensive for what it is.

Currently 16 euros per person for breakfast. We are not paying that. Is not the quality or choice as both are good but I don't eat much for breakfast so can't justify it.

The showers are great. The beds are hard which makes you feel like you are on them instead of in it.

I have not had dinner here as the menu is a. Very expensive and b. Poncy food that I don't like or want. There are many cafes and restaurants in the immediate area which have just what I want and like.

The location is excellent and the car park great. It's very quiet here too.

The bar is again expensive, especially when there are so many alternatives so close by.

Will I stay here again? Not sure. I have found other places to stay which I might try before coming back here. My girlfriend has backache from the beds so she will not want to come back.

I would not say don't stay here, just look at your options, especially if your tight like me!

I want to like this hotel which is why I keep coming back but I can't get away from the artificially high prices.

Amazing location, in the river below Dinan, lots of restaurants just a stone's throw away. Dinan IS a lovely old walled town. Hotel was clean and modern with a nice spa and small outside pool. Not charismatic but did the job.

Very stylish and well situated by the river. We enjoyed the ambience in the outdoor seating area when we called in for a cold drink.

The Mercury Dinan is in a great location and reasonably well appointed but cleanliness and maintenance sometimes are to be desired. On our last stop the shower was quick moldy, nothing a quick spray of readily available mold and mildue spray wouldn't get rid off in seconds. Also, a number of things including th aircon were broken. Shame as the location is awesome. If it's a really deal I.e.€60 or less than its worth the stop for the location alone.
