One of the best hotels in Saigon. We stayed for the night after a Seafood buffet with free flow drinks (at La Brasserie). Definitely fixed our cravings for fresh oysters, lobsters, crabs, prawns, and sashimi. Their lamb is good too. Lots of choices aside from seafood (gammon, dimsum, vegetables, desserts, etc).
Hotel amenities are superb. Our room was spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. Love their turn-down service! They replenished our drinking water too. It’s the little things that make such a difference. And oh, I absolutely enjoyed the warm toilet seat. 😅
We had semi-buffet breakfast in the morning. You can choose either a continental, Vietnamese, Japanese, or American one.
Overall, service is excellent. Will come back soon.

Had a great 5 nights stay at Hotel Nikko Saigon. Despite the late arrival and early departure, staff were on top of their game to provide sleek and sharp service. Room were comfortable with iconic Japanese touch and hospitality.

I had my wedding at Hotel Nikko Saigon and it was fantastic. They had an absolute attention to details, food was outstanding and every amenities provided were on point.
The room provided was amazing.
Classy, luxurious and soothing environment.
Location-wise, the hotel is not too far from downtown touristic area, but some transportation is required.
Definitely recommended for business people and for travellers who don’t mind staying a little distance from touristic hot spots.

This is really a beautiful and cozy place for many types of party with polite and professional staffs, cool decoration. The food in the party I participated was delicious and nice arrangement. The location of Nikko hotel and restaurant is very convenient because it is in District 1 and linked to district 5 by Nguyen Van Cu street. I and my friends had lots of nice memory at this place.

What a beautiful and classy place! I had my wedding here and the whole night could not have been better. Customer service is top notch and they really try to do everything to accommodate your needs. As part of the wedding package, they also offer an anniversary buffet dinner. Definitely one of the most memorable experiences of my life! A five-star rating isn't even enough to describe this wonderful hotel.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are super nice and every single detail is cared for. The food is amazing and the buffet is really incredible! No bad things at all to say about this hotel. Every staff member makes this hotel a pleasure to stay in too.

Wonderful hotel located in D1 away from all the other major 5 star hotels. The staff are very polite and attentive. The hotel offers a great breakfast and seafood buffet for dinner. The lobby also has a great cafe and bar with split smoking and non smoking options! Highly recommend for those visiting HCMC.

Hotel main door and lobby is very grand. Did not stay at this 5 star hotel. But went for the La Brasserie Buffet Dinner. Buffet spread is good and very tasty. Mist importantly the customer service by the restaurant manager is very excellent. I am total satisfied. I will visit again. Well done.

Hi
Thanks for lovely food and the fantastic service.
The best buffet during our southeast Asia trip.
We don't expect to have a birthday cake( 2 people who fill years at our family).
The waitress came out with a cake to us and live bands played hbd music. What's a birthday surprise ☺️
Thanks a lot

This short trip I stayed at Pullman, New World and Nikko and by far Nikko is the best hotel even though they are all rated 5 stars. I was so glad we stayed at Nikko last. I loved my stay here and enjoyed the breakfast buffet and seafood buffet. It was totally worth it. It was amazing and will definitely come back.

If you do not like clinical styling, this may not be the hotel for you. But if ice cold precision in every area of design matched with an army of terrific staff sounds like what you're after this is a wonderful hotel. Its also a little out of the main tourist area, so it's well suited to the VN regular or business traveller. We had a minor issue on check in - possibly more due to Agoda than the hotel - but it was fixed quickly and to my satisfaction by the manager. A good chance this will become my regular hotel on our frequent trips to Saigon.

The views of Saigon Skyline are worth admission alone. Come for the view, stay for the Japanese bidet!

La Brasserie Restaurant at Hotel Nikko Saigon is by far the best seafood buffet in HCMC

Food: best seafood buffet in HCMC. Get ready for all the lobsters and crabs you can eat.

Services: Average for a 5 star hotel. Too many guests and not enough services

Price: High

Value: Amazing value. Prices may be high but you get so much more.

Ambiance: Fine dining but it has been over-crowded, noisy and over-booked

Decor: Modern. Clean line. Nothing outstanding

Location: The outer edge of District 1 on the border of District 5 but well worth the distance

Favorite Dish(es): Steam lobsters and crabs. It's a buffet so you will surely find something you like.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. Staff were wonderful and very friendly. We arrived at 11am but the staff were more than happy to check us in early before the 2pm check in time. The hotel is beautiful with fantastic decor. The rooms are clean and very well organized. The one think I would say is that the outlets are a bit dated and could use an update for USB outlets etc. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was no shortage of items for the stay (toothbrushes, soaps, etc.). The gym is reasonable for some cardio and the outdoor pool is also lovely, though it can get busy at times. The housekeeping was impeccable and they even left us chocolates each night for our turn down service. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel indeed exceeded my expectations! I would say it was the best one that I stayed I my recent trips. Everything you see, including the lobby, the room, the bathroom, are elegant. Service is of course as great as any Japanese hotel. The most impressive is the breakfast, delicious and presented in beautifully, with so many varieties and delicious!
And last but not least, it’s a grand hotel with low price!

Off a Main Street, adjacent to a small mall type of shop complex. Hotel is thus quiet in a separate enclave. Spacious interior lobby, excellent staff at check in. Rooms are luxurious, housekeeping excellent and rooms supplies in abundance. Room spacious, plush corridor carpets eliminate noise. Breakfast superb, with numerous stations to cater for any taste. Just outside city sightseeing area, however a drop off shuttle departs every hour to main sites. Nice pool and gym area, well supported during our time there. Can recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Excellent clean modern and quiet 5 star hotel in district one. The hotel is very nice with large rooms friendly staff comfortable beds and pillows, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. The staff are very helpful and attentive. Turn down service every night, lots of toiletries (including bath salt and laundry detergent), beautiful city view, good gym and giant pool. Super quiet rooms with fast elevators.

Elegant hotel with a modern touch. The seafood buffet is the talk of the town. Make sure you don't miss it before leaving Ho chi Minh City. There are about 10 different flavors of lobster you can choose from and if you have an appetite of a Lion, you can try them all. However my favorite is the grilled flower crabs. Absolutely delicious!

WOW and WOW!!!
Made reservations online for one. Quick and professional response.

My server was, Mee(?). At buffets, you don't expect a lot of service, but Mee kept checking what I needed, and what flavors to try and types of shellfish that are more succulent.

It's unlimited food and alcohol!

It's as good as they say it is. Check YouTube for Mike Chen's review.

Very nice hotel in district 1, yet away from the central area. This mean less traffic and near lots of local food of district 3, 5 and 10. So location wise great, unless you have meetings in the main business area of district 1.
This hotel is also attached to a mall called Now Zone, so quite convenient. Being near a huge round about also allows quicker access to surrounding areas.
The staff are great, rooms are also great. Really a 5 star hotel.

An excellent Hotel with a great value for money.

Location is not the heart of hearts but not far from it in district 1 of Ho Chi Minh city.

Service is impeccable and attentive.
Our room, 2214, was brilliant and the views impressive, just a floor below the executive level on the 23rd.

Spacious, tastefully decorated and very functional with good amenities king size bedroom.

I didn’t use the facilities, pool gym and spa so I do t have an opinion.

The food was delicious 😋 I loved the sweet potato, the corn 🌽 was rightly grilled, the chicken and prawns sewers were fantastic with lemon, the salads were lively green and clean and the sauces abundant and per choice.

The bed, mattress and lines all guaranteed a very tight sleep indeed.

We love Nikko hotel and we recommend it without any single doubt.

It’s always a pleasure staying at the Hotel Nikko Saigon.

Great value for money with ultra-clean and expansive rooms. Excellent check-in and check-out service; a wide range of delicious and healthy Western, Eastern, and vegetarian food at the morning breakfast buffet.

We have stayed twice here and will definitely stay again whenever in Saigon!

Friendly and nice staff. No matter you are a hotel guest or a business day guest.
Location is not in the heart of the city but still well accessible to D1 or D5 in less than 15 mins if the traffic is good. But usually it is not.

Excellent hotel located on the outskirts of Saigon center. We were upgraded to a suite and thought our stay incredible with very comfortable sheets and bed. The guest room had an amazing view of Saigon and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. This would be 5 stars but I rated 4 stars solely on the location as it isn’t close to the main tourist attractions.

Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Though, we asked and confirmed several times on check in that our room was non-smoking, we were given very much a smoking room. Upon complaining they gave us a new room, and as there were no rooms left at the level we booked we received an upgraded. I can't help but feel they tried to pull a fast one. Location is a little out of the way but they do offer a shuttle service a few times a day, though we did not use. Walking in the area of the hotel is a little crazy due to its proximity to one of the cities busiest roundabouts. Room was comfortable, with the bed sheets super soft. Bathroom was interesting with Toto bidet toilets and separate 'closets' for the toilet and shower. Would stay here again, it offers great value for the quality.

Location is a bit off center, but for a 2USD taxi ride you're in the center. Service is fantastic, people are helpful.
Rooms are very comfortable, beds are great. Love the large bathroom with shower and tub. Japanese toilets if you don't like toilet paper :)
View from the top is really nice and pool is great (though a bit fresh in the morning).
Breakfast is out of this world with loads of Japanese stuff( nato beats any hangover!)
Maybe a bit of paint to redo in the bathroom due to humidity.
One regret: to have stayed only one night

Located on the edge of district one towards Chinatown, the Nikko is ready to get to and avoids the crush of downtown. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was meeting guests on the Executive floor which had stunning views back to the city. The coffee was excellent. Good hotel for business.

I've been staying here for the past 5 years whenever I visit Saigon for work. I love the muted decor and the high lobby. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The breakfast is a sight to behold and I believe 5% of the total fat content in my body was contributed by their breakfast buffet which includes Japanese, western and Vietnamese food. Their breakfast buffet resembles that of a dinner buffet actually... hmmm.... maybe I've been going down too early for breakfast...

I booked a suite here and enjoyed my time. Unfortunately it was only a quick stopover for me. I'm hoping to come back soon as the staff were great, and the room was very clean and spacious. That's pretty huge considering there aren't very many hotels outside of the resorts that feel more like western hotels. Usually the attitude and professionalism of the staff is what sets the differences apart, along with attention to cleanliness.

There are multiple faults
1. The door of the shower room and the pantry door cannot close.
2. The communication of the laundry service are too bad. I have told laundry service to continues to wash my shirts even any problem of the shirts at the first time. I received a card that they would not wash my shirt at the second time that I use the laundry service.
3. The hygiene sense of the cooks are bad. I see 2 different cooks to use their bare hands to put back the noodle into the bowl when some noodle is out of the bowl.
4. The hygiene sense of the room making is also bad. I saw a staff to use same towel to clean all parts of the toilet after the towel has been used to clean the toilet water when the staff finish toilet brushing.
5. I saw the staff to wash glass cup and spoon in my room and put it back into pantry.
6. The skill of cook does not very well. I ordered a rare steak, but they gave me a over cooked steak.
7. There is no staff to give any towels or they don't prepare towels in lobby when any clients get wet after heavy rain. I just received a oops or oh from staffs.

Update: after they received the comment and I stay one more night, they really take response on the doors

Stay one night in 23rd floor. We got yummy chocolates. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Very comfortable ! The spa called REN was nice and relax too. Cuz our fright was midnight Deperture, they allow us to use shower after check out. We need to take shower after working around downtown saigon.
Staff were so nice most if them speack english very well.
Ao mice to choose thia hotel. If we choose hotel in midtown, we never sleep well cuz of car horns and exhaust gas.

I spent 3 nights at the Nikko Hotel in a Club Room. The hotel itself is modern, clean and classy. All the staff speak at least 2 languages (Vietnamese & English) and the food was exceptional. The breakfast buffet had so many choices that we didn't leave the hotel to mid morning due to being too full. The club level had a great selection for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks. Although this hotel is a little out of town, don't let that deter you from an otherwise excellent stay!

WOW. This is one of the greatest hotel experiences I have ever had. For a city that doesn't have a Hilton etc., the Nikko is the perfect replica of any of those popular 5 star hotels.
