I have been staying in a number of hotels around Stuttgart, Ehningen and Böblingen and the Hotel Bären definitely belongs to the best ones, especially considering more than reasonable price. The Hotel is well connected, the Autobahn and S-Bahn station are quite near. In fact, the railway is right behind the hotel building and this is probably one of the biggest downsides. Sometimes you may hear trains passing by. Truth be told, one gets used to this noise rather quickly. It was not an issue for me, but you have to decide for yourself.
On the positive side, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. The parking, breakfast and WiFi are included in the Hotel rate, unlike in other hotels around. The breakfast is very good and one of the best for the hotels of such level and unbeatable for the money paid. Rooms and bath are clean and neat. Looking to this, even despite the somewhat noisy placement, I would not hesitate to give 5 stars rating and recommend this hotel.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Ich würde freundlich begrüßt, sofort nach meiner Firmen Adresse für dich Rechnung gefragt und das Zimmer war auch super sauber. Typische Schimmelspuren im Bad sucht man vergeblich. Am morgen war Ei leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück angeboten worden.
Ich habe in sehr viel teureren Hotels sehr viel schlechter genächtigt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Schöne Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück. Preis/Leistung ist okay. Nur die Bahnstrecke hinterm Haus stört etwas beim Schlafen.
