Big room, comfortable huge bed, great view, nice breakfast with massive choice. Central located. When I visit Kaohsiung again I will definitely stay here again.

I went to Howard Plaza Hotel for dinner at Hovii. It was quiet on a weekday night. Food was good and the ambience is pretty. Definitely worth another visit if given the chance. Food prices are acceptable and portions are sufficient.

Nice hotel in Kaohsiung with gym facilities and swimming pool. Not far from the MRT around 5 minutes. Service is good.

Fuhua.... As it is called in local language. Very nice hotel right in the middle of city. Well access to supermarkets and local restaurants. Staff is welcoming and very friendly. It has roof top lounges, restaurants, spas, gym, swimming pool, shopping centres, banquets etc all inside the hotel. Rooms are big spacious and well maintained.

Had a bad experience during check-in. Overall, room is ok but location is not really that near to mrt. Got a wheelchair traveller and the journey to either MRT can be quite a challenge.

Highly recommend the executive rooms. These rooms offer late check out at 3pm and free drinks at sky lounge in the morning and at night. Rooms with Good city view. Outdoor pools and jacuzzi are good. Buffet Breakfast is with good range of variety and nice ice-cream.

Great location with easy parking, clean room. The swimming pools is a big plus for the children. Will stay again.

Ok. They don't preserve it well. A lot of stains on the floor and old furniture. I have a non smoking room but it smells really bad after cigaretts.
Breakfast is good, staff friendly.

We were received professionally with smile and hospitality. A fruit tray of House Keeping is customer's delightment. Clean room/wash-room and all necessary amenities in the room was in good condition. Response time of housekeeping was very less which added to the pleasant hotel stay.
Staff at main gate were very helpful to assist local travelling as very few Taxi driver speak english.
Overall experience was very nice.

- Though I had carefully ask the receptionist the address where I had to go to, and she gave me the name in Chinese. The taxi driver took me to a a different one due to the wrong instruction from the doorman. Since then I always asked receptionist to help filling address in google map before leaving the hotel to monitor taxi's route. As a visitor, you have to be very careful there since most people there dont speak English.
- My room was never been cleaned properly as I observed. The worse was in the bathroom where there were some hair strains on the bathtub and the sink never been taken away, and of course I used it once and never again.

Awesome customer service. Big outdoor swimming pool is a plus. Highly recommended

A very friendly young lady Jill checked us in early around 2 pm and gave a free upgrade to an executive room (room 1916) on the 19th floor with a magnificent view of Kaohsiung City. The room was spacious, quiet, comfy with a fridge, a tea/coffee maker, a nice sofa, a desk and a chair and the free in-room Wifi was fast and reliable during our stay.
The complimentary breakfast included in our package was excellent with many choices that should satisfy everyone. The swimming pool looked nice from our room but we didn’t have a chance to use it at this time.
The location of this hotel is not too far away from Kaohsiung Train Station and the metro 美麗島站, we walked from the train station to the hotel for about 12 minutes. Formosa MRT Station was really gorgeous that many thought to be the most beautiful metro stop in the world and definitely worth visiting. The hotel has free shuttle to that station if you prefer not to walk. Overall, we like this 5 star hotel and highly recommend it as a great base touring beautiful Kaohsiung area.
