Staying at this hotel has been a pleasure. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and spacious. We're here for Dragoncon, which is a fifteen to twenty minute walk but the hotel offers a free shuttle to the venue. There's a nice pool and free breakfast in the morning as well. Honestly, just overall a great experience!

Hotel staff is great when you check in but we waited for over an hour to get a lamp for the room. The husband finally gave up and went down to see what he could find. We may have to buy one to use. Had to take a pic with my flash on. Hopefully things will get better. We have stayed here several times and have been content. Fingers crossed. Hotel staff really made up for all the issues we had. Upgraded our room and comped a day. We will be going back in a week and will be happy to stay here because of the dedication of the staff members.

This long stay hotel has some of the nicest and friendliest staff, who were very helpful in finding a room that met my particular asks. It's great to see staff hours after check in and have them remember your name! The room was very spacious and well set up, with a kitchen area, couch/relaxing area, and a bedroom. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet. The place has some wear and tear though, it could do with a remodel. My bathroom had large handprint stains on the wall, some of the light fixtures were broken, the walls in the TV room damaged. Be aware there is no room service. Instead, you order at the bar and they give you a to go box. There is a store that has basics, beverages, snacks and microwavable meals. Overall a good the star hotel.

Location was great. Right across from Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke. Pricey for valet parking $$. Room was not as expected from Hyatt. Housekeeping lacking. Hair dryer quit working, asked for another in person, never received! No handles on inside of bathroom door. Been removed.?. Hoeever, front desk staff very friendly.

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff on every level goes out of their way to be incredibly helpful and kind! It is just across from the Georgia Aquarium and a bunch of other nice sites to see in a short walking distance. The valet parking is worth the extra cost, in my opinion. Our room was very clean and spacious with everything we needed and more. The free breakfast is full of all kinds of food to please everyone in the family. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here! When we arrived we were meet by a professional valet and then a lovely lobby. I was surprised when we got to our room that it had a full kitchen setup as well as bedrooms were separated from living area, all nicely decorated and maintained. This is a pet friendly hotel and can make you nervous that things won't be clean but in our experience everything was very toddy. One of the greatest things that my wife and I picked up on and couldn't stop talking about was when we came down stairs to the lobby we felt as if we were the only guests there! What I mean is, When we eat breakfast each staff member would stop by and greet us help us with our dishes. Or simply have a little chat! It's something I feel you only get at little bed and breakfasts! My daughters loved the interaction and it really made the stay plesant.

Bad maid service. Never received clean bedding and no toiletries. They didn't clean anything. Toilet, shower, and floor not clean. Dishes in dishwasher dirty from prior guest. Front desk over charged room and was rude about fixing. For more than $225 a night I would expect a clean room, disappointed. The best thing was the breakfast, they did a good job and service was great.

We stayed here for one night while we visited the Georgia Aquarium (literally right across the street). It was my first time staying in a Hyatt House, but it won't be my last. Everyone was so hospitable and accommodating. When I say everyone, I mean EVERY employee we encountered. From the Valet, to the front desk, to the complimentary breakfast the next morning, everyone was willing and wanting to be helpful, and did so with a smile on their faces. It was also a wonderful surprise when we got to our room to find out we had been given a suite when we booked just a regular room! This was so helpful since we had two small children traveling with us. The amenities were wonderful! The room and bathroom were beautiful and CLEAN! My only complaint is the comforters could be thicker. Thank you Hyatt House for such a wonderful hotel experience!

Friendly staff, modern amenities, great location. Close to a lot of attractions. Kind of noisy though due to downtown location. Tough to sleep. Needs better sound insolation. $34 per day for parking seemed high also.

We didn't have a bad experience at this hotel, but it wasn't our favorite. Parking is very difficult in the front. The rooms are kind of beat up. They aren't very spacious but you are in downtown Atlanta so I guess you can't expect much. It was quite a walk to get to the things around us and since parking was difficult you felt like you had to walk to get where you wanted. The restaurants or shops were closed earlier than I expected for being in a city. Don't know if I'd stay here again but the people that work there were nice and accommodating.

Everybody in this entire Hotel had the greatest disposition and was very helpful. The entire Hotel was clean. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was prepared nicely and a very good value. The only problem I had was when I set my laundry out for washing it came back a couple sizes too small. The rooms are very nice but there was a horrible smell that came from the drain in the shower.

Our stay was wonderful. We drove in from NYC and at our arrival my friend and I and 3 kids were completely exhausted, we originally reserved a double queen room, but the guy at the front desk saw that there were 5 off us (including my 2 yr old) and gave us the queen suite for no additional charge , i have to stay it was the best thing he did for our entire trip!! thank you again The staff were always pleasant and the breakfast was a hit! it's such a time saver not having to get up and get dressed just to go out for breakfast everyday, we were able to come down eat get back to room and plan out the rest off the day Also i was actually able to get parking for my entire 4 day stay in the front the hotel, there are only 5 spots and i moved my car 2 times and always got back a spot ( lucky me!) so i didn't have to pay for parking

The staff were very friendly. I don't think I encountered one without a smile and a hello or welcome back. The rooms were clean and spacious. There is only valet parking in site but there are other places available nearby. Soamy opportunities were in walking distance. We will be coming back.

We stay here almost every time we visit Atlanta and are always impressed. The staff is outstanding, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The location is convenient to major attractions downtown, the rooms are well sized and well maintained. We stayed in their 1 bedroom room the last time, convection microwave, full fridge, two burner stove top, dishwasher table that can be used for dining and a desk, two double beds and a pull out couch. Just a comfortable and usable space. The breakfast is more than suitable to get you going in the morning and they don't get upset when you take a couple of apples and boiled eggs with you to go for later, not that I would ever do that. The one thing I will say about the area is I strongly recommend using the valet parking rather than trying to find parking on the street, some of the neighbors are less that trustworthy.

The Hyatt House in downtown Atlanta was fantastic. My room was spacious, comfortable and super clean. The staff was especially friendly and helpful too. Parking is valet only which is typical of hotels in downtown. Wifi in the room was free, but was slow, although it did get better in the lobby. For the price, this was a great place to stay, I will definitely be back.

We stayed here for five nights after evacuating Florida from hurricane Irma. We had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff, especially Matthew and Carmen, was amazing. The King Size Suite I booked looks exactly as advertised. The breakfast is great and the staff friendly. The only fault I can find is there is only one mirror in the whole room which is in the bathroom. I wish there was one more. The $26 a day for parking isn't a dream but I do realize I'm staying downtown. They are very upfront with this charge so it not a surprise.

My husband, myself and our 1 year old daughter stayed here a few weeks ago to visit the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke. We stayed a total of 3 days/2 nights. I have to say, the friendliness of the staff was probably some of the best we have had at a hotel. Everyone who worked there that we came in contact with was very friendly, professional and helpful. We were even upgraded from a regular King room to a King suite at no charge which honestly was a life saver to say the least. Our room was overall very clean and we had a nice view of the downtown area. As far as distance to the Aquarium and World of Coke, they were within a 10 minute walk and it was perfect. There were a few food options within walking distance but only a handful were "fast food". I guess that should be expected in a downtown setting but even the closest pizza joint was outrageous. We decided to eat at the hotel for dinner one night and it was delicious. I wish we would have ate there the night before as well because it was seriously worth every penny we paid. Now, I will say that one of the things I felt was lacking was the complimentary breakfast. There was a variety of options but the food was just bland. Not what I expected at all. They had a small "hot bar", bread and cereal area, waffle maker and made to order omelets but it was so crowded that there was a 40 minute wait for an omelet plus long lines for waffles. Can't go wrong with cereal I guess. Also, parking. There were 4 spots in front of the hotel that were "free" but of course, never open. There were a few parking areas within walking distance to the hotel that were about $10 cheaper but seemed sketchy. I don't know if the parking lot at Hyatt place is monitored or not but I guess overall I felt safer knowing my car was right below my window. Every downtown hotel I have ever stayed in, parking has been charged separately so I kinda expected this to be the case in Atlanta too. We would definitely stay here again if ever in Atlanta.

Accommodations were very nice but dead bolt lock on door didn't work. Shared issue with front desk never heard anything else about it. Show floor tenant our door issue and door opened right up. Only lock working was safety mechanical lock, door still would open. Somebody could walk right up and push the door open. Issue wasn't taken seriously at front desk. Nobody really knew how the Locks really worked. Young leadership on hand probably played a part in issue never being resolved. It was a safety issue for me.

Great location if you want to visit the Georgia Aquarium/World of Coke (Walking Distance). Good food also in walking distance. Room was very nice, clean and modern looking. Free parking is a bit sparse to expect to pay around 25 dollars overnight valet. Good breakfast, but gets quite busy if you don't get up early enough. Couldn't find vending/ice machine on our floor and had to go to the lobby. Service was excellent.

The rooms definitely had a worn feeling to them. When we arrived, the dishes were were still in the dishwasher not put away so I couldn't find things at first. The room is really spacious, including the bathroom. I thought the listing said 2 queen beds and their length might be but definitely not width, it was more like a full. The couch was really comfy and cushy, and made a good fold out for our fifth person. The bathroom was not as clean as I would like it (tile grout was discolored and shower train pulled out when I tried to loosen it). Water pressure wasn't very good. Breakfast was super crowded! Standard spread, nothing terrible but nothing good. This hotel is a great budget option for a big group of friends! Don't expect super high quality or spotlessness though.

Great experience, especially the customer service. Miss Whitney at the front desk is an amazing person--genuinely attentive and wonderfully considerate. She delighted me, my wife and our kids. Mr. Ken (housekeeping) and Mr. Marcus also ensured my family felt welcomed and cared for. Rodney, Chris and Brendan on valet were very professional and helpful. Kadeem and Terrell tending bar we're also professional, knowledgeable and very personable. Service matters, and great people have been hired here. For this reason, I look forward to returning with my family--hopefully many times.

Great room, spacious, clean, friendly staff and it's close to some big attractions. We stayed for 3 nights in a suite which has a full kitchen, a separate room with two queen beds and in the living room is nice sleeper sofa couch (a little uncomfortable but it is a sleeper sofa). Nice bathroom, water pressure was kinda low but it wasn't to bad. The aquarium, world of Coca-Cola, and many other things are walking distance. Which is nice bc u don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. Valet was friendly and quick ($26 a night) which they take out of your damage deposit ($35 a night). The free Continental breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and refiled our drinks and picked up our plates.

This hotel is a convenient location to a lot of tourist attractions. However, at night time... you will hear all of the busy downtown night life, which was a major turn off. Also, I didn't like that I had requested a crib for my room but they didn't have any. We were told that the hotel only had 2 and they were already in use. I feel that if you are a hotel that is within walking distance to many tourist attractions, they should have been well equipped with more than 2 cribs. Also, the customer service wasn't great. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The location is amazing; within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium, the Coke Museum, and Georgia Tech. Upon check-in, you get two handy maps of nearby places of interests and restaurants which is super helpful. We booked one room for five people and the room is pretty much a small apartment. There's a large couch, a TV in each room, a kitchen (with plates, utensils, a pot, and storage containers). The bathroom is large and modern-looking, but sharing it among 5 people is a little hard. The sofa is made of a rough material that makes it hard to sleep one, but I just took one of the sheets off the bed and that mostly fixed the problem. If there aren't enough blankets/toiletries, you can always ask the front desk for more. There is complimentary breakfast from 6-9 on weekdays and 6-10 on weekends. I don't recommend the egg; they're very dry.

I am not one to write reviews however I was so disappointed in my stay here that I had to write one even before checking out. First location: Great if your only criteria is to be close to aquarium. I would not step foot outside here after dark. Across the street is club Suite. I have the pleasure of to listening to thumping music and loud obnoxious people way past my bedtime. The room: For 200 per night (with the valet cost) Not super impressed. Bed is comfortable. I didn't however receive maid service at all for the 3 days I stayed. Complained and was told we would receive next day. Nope. Had to find a maid just to get fresh towels. No room service and no laundry bags. BREAKFAST:DISGUSTING. FAKE EGGS. No really they do not use real eggs. Sausage patty dehydrated. No made to order omelet as advertised. When asked was told it was too busy on the weekends for that. The next day we figured we will just have a waffle. No batter. The staff was embarrassed of the food as they should be. Pool area: asked for fire pit to be lit. Was told it was hard to do and they would let me know. It's hard to do? Not very difficult. No fire pit. Pool was cold for a heated pool and need to be vacuumed. There are many hotels in the area. No reason to choose this one. I will not be staying at a Hyatt House ever again.

The location is about 1 mile from where the nightlife is. Didn't use room service but it was offered. Slept in a king suite with a divided living room/ kitchen/ dining area. Room was very clean. Huge shower. Staying on the top floor will give you great views of the city. Complementary breakfast had a huge selection. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel with nice rooms. Ours came equipped with a nicely appointed kitchen. Complimentary breakfast has a great selection. Only downside is the parking costs $26/day. There are nearby lots (within a couple blocks) that are $10/day. I wish the hotel either had free parking for guests or at least matched the nearby lots.

Beautiful hotel, great location and friendly staff make this hotel an amazing choice. Comfortable beds, great amenities in suite, fridge, dishwasher, cooktop make it perfect place for a family. Clean and tidy place in the middle of the city near everything. Bed was comfy and the breakfast was quite good. Not just the normal boring stuff. The gym was pretty small and there is no pool. Also very limited, paid parking. I'd recommend just using uber or lyft if you stay here.

Very nice place. It had a lot of kitchen pots and pans for cooking and an oven and microwave to cook. Plus the front desk had a "mini shop" where you could buy basic necessities from laundry detergent to small microwavable meals. Overall a very good place.

Great place to stay. Very nice décor, excellent service and the staff was very courteous and helpful the entire stay. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was well prepared and offered a variety of hot/cold food and beverages. Love the H-Bar, drinks were excellent and the entrees were very good. Great location to visit all of the major attractions in the downtown area. Plan to stay here again on the next visit to Atlanta.

We stayed there in mid May of 2016 and had a great time, it was a prime location near all the attractions and all the workers were extremely courteous. Rooms were clean and modern and they were fast to fix any issues we had. The free breakfast buffet was one of the best we'd ever had. Just phenomenal. And reasonably priced for the area. Just a great experience.

Less than 5 min walk to Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola and Centennial Olympic Park. Hotel condition is new and quite although most room facing to main road and railway station. The hotel do provide simple kind of American breakfast, juices and coffee. The overall hotel is above fantastic.

Bar has bright florescent lobby lighting that won't dim no matter how late, and they skipped us for room cleaning. But brought more towels and coffee right away when we asked. Great location and our king suite rooms looked really nice and modern inside. Enjoyed the free breakfast, best free breakfast buffet I've seen.

Second time staying here. Decent hotel. A bit sparse and not entirely inviting. Parking is a nightmare. You're essentially forced to valet because there's nothing else other than on street parking. Also the check-in lane is dangerously close to fast moving traffic. Surprised we didn't get into a wreck. Room was clean, but walls were dirty and scarred up. TV didn't work well. Bar is OK but closed early because they didn't have a lot of customers but then a bunch of guests showed up and all were outta luck. Breakfast stops at 9 on weekdays which isn't abnormal but it was a federal holiday with a packed house because of a giant cheer competition in town. Lot of angry cheer moms who couldn't get anything to eat. Staff is nice and the check-in guy was great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are pretty big, comfortable, and modern. Nice bathroom with roomy shower, and the bed was comfortable. Some street noise but not much considering it's downtown. Walking distance to the aquarium and Coke museum. There's a free breakfast, which was just ok, but a great diner down the street by the aquarium if you want something better. The only thing we weren't happy with was the parking. It's $26 per night and they really hide that info on their website. There aren't much other options for parking do it kind of feels like they are gouging their already paying guests. I'd feel less ripped off if it was rolled into the price or more obviously posted.

This is one of the most suitable hotels you can pick in atlanta. It is location in down town .. close to aquarium and all other sight seeing. I booked a suit for one bedroom and a lounge for 200$ / night through trip advisor. Stuff are wonderful.. the swimming pool is outside

Within walking distance of the downtown area. The rates were very reasonable. The room was clean and good size. The bathroom was upscale for this type of value. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Our stay was nice. They upgraded us to a suite which was lovely, and we really enjoyed being able to use that. Breakfast was disappointing as there wasn't actually an omelet station like it mentions online and at the hotel. The food was terrible. Everything was dry and tasted like day old leftovers. We definitely should have gone out to brunch somewhere. The hotel itself was clean and very nice and the staff was great.

The hotel located in the heart of the city. Walking distance to Olympic Park, Georgia aquarium, CNN tower and Skyview. The rooms are great, very nice city view. Furniture is nice and beds were clean. Modern bathrooms with enough lights. The service was great. Continental breakfast was included with lots of options from waffle/pancakes to eggs and cereals. Parking was valet only, but the staff was very friendly. They let us keep the car couple more hours after checking out which allowed us to visit the aquarium.

The hotel was very very nice, especially including the complimentary breakfast. It's not an average hotel breakfast either it was actually very good. The rooms were very clean anf the hotel smelt nice. My only thing was the guys at the front desk he insulted my mother and was very I repeat VERY unprofessional. His name was Lloyd not sure if that's how he spells it but he was tall and bald he also told my younger brother who wasn't staying at the hotel he just came for an hour or so to shutup multiple times, playing around or not it was very unprofessional especially to be the face that all your guest see as soon as they enter the building. On the other hand you night time front desk worker, Granville was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! He was super nice and made being in the lobby like home me and my friend had a conversation with him like we knew him forever. We actually thought he was a manager that's how well he treated guests. Thank you Granville for making the rest of our stay the best stay ever!!!

The hotel is very close (5 minute walk) to the Georgia Aquarium, which is a must see. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly! The room was clean and comfortable. There were some weird things in the bathroom (two colors of white paint that didn't match, raw patched holes in the wall). These weren't major issues though. Overall, a great experience!

Big room, friendly service and extra kitchen utilities that most hotels never offer. When I walked in the room I was really surprised to see a full kitchen. Cooker, fridge, sink and microwave oven. Everything you'd need to live as self catering for a few weeks. The room was large, the bed comfortable and I had a big TV that could be viewed in the bedroom or a size-able lounge. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was always hot and had strong flow. The location isn't great. I attended for a conference hundreds of metres away, but for general touring of Atlanta I would have stayed in midtown. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was OK and there was plenty of offerings, but wasn't great tasting and seemed at the budget end of quality. Overall I wouldn't stay at this Hyatt House again, because I'd the location, but I'd be tempted to stay at another Hyatt House in other cities.

Nice rooms, and the people were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of rules regarding room charges but it's for patron protection so I was fine with it. The door to the bathroom was the most annoying part. A sliding door that is only on a top track. It swung everywhere. Outside of that the bed was superb and it was set up like a small apartment so it was easy to settle in. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay if working at the GWCC or nearby areas. About 15-20 minute walk to the GWCC employee entrance. Right next to the aquarium and only a short walk to Olympic Centennial Park. The hotel is a nice play to stay. Room is spacious and comfortable. The H-Bar has some good eats if you don't want to leave the hotel for dinner. But there are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The complementary breakfast buffet is very good. And the staff is very friendly.

We had a very nice stay. The appearance, amenities and comfort level were all perfect (although I prefer cotton pillows to feather). The pool is excellent with a fire pit, cushioned seating area, and grill with bar top. The downside was the front desk and the breakfast hours. Although the desk agents were helpful, I did not enjoy standing around waiting for them to finish their personal conversations with each other before waiting on me. As to the breakfast hours, ending at 9 on a weekday is ridiculous when you are a hotel. We missed it on our last day which had us leave on a sour note. I would definitely go back but I would hope the breakfast hours have changed by then.

My wife and I came to Atlanta to attend an Atlanta Falcons game. The Hyatt House Atlanta / Downtown is a very short walk to this stadium so it is very convenient if you are attending a game, going to the convention center or the aquarium. The hotel staff was so very friendly and everybody did everything to make sure we had what we needed to be comfortable, from directions to a local restaurant or the best way to travel to the airport in pouring down rain. The hotel room was very nice and well stocked with everything you would need. I would highly recommend that you stay at this hotel if you are ever in the area. You really can tell by the staff that this hotel is very well managed and staffed with caring employees. My wife and I are already planning on what our next vacation will be there so we can stay at this hotel again.
