To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

It serves its purpose as a convenient place to stay whilst travelling to London on business etc. (i.e. it's really near to Euston). There are some issues between the online booking systems and the hotel reservation systems which causes confusion sometimes. I've also found the breakfast area is ridiculously packed and people end up spilling into the bar to eat their breakfast. That said, the breakfast is lovely and worth the wait. I am not giving this 3 stars to say it is bad, but to say it is 'average' currently when compared with other hotels of it's 'grade' in London I have stayed at. Adequate for business travel

Everything you want in a hotel. A nice, clean room, a good bed, coffee/tea in the room, a good bathroom. Friendly staff.
Easy, rather basic of course, but in a good way. The things you need, good quality.
Really easy to get there

Stayed many times and get the same reliable service every time. The room is basic but very well thought through use of space. The public lounge area is generously spacious and comfortable with modern seating. Breakfast is good value. Surprisingly good poached eggs, given the large scale catering.

The hotel is well maintained with functioning plumbing and good wifi. The location is excellent if you are making connections through Euston Station. The food we have eaten at the hotel restaurant (d2 lunches & 1 breakfast) was very good, and there are some great ethnic restaurants and a pub just up the street. I would highly recommend the hotel for short stays or for anyone traveling light. The room is efficient, but small; so if you have lots of luggage, this might not be the place for you. That being said, I find the use of space in the hotel well designed and comfortable and it served my traveling needs well.

Very pleased with the service. Check in was very efficient and while we had early check out for one room, staff said the other room was ready and gave it to us one time at no extra cost! I had late 5 pm checkout but ran late in the city and couldn't get back till 6 pm. We called them to inform them of that and they immediately said " no problem". We really appreciated all of this. Beautiful lobby.

Mostly a great stay - reception area lovely (loved the scent) ! Rooms not of the same standard but adequate. At arrival we were told our twin room would not be ready until 2pm. When we returned it still wasn't ready which was frustrating however, given a free drink whilst we waited. Breakfast mostly great - didn't get a sausage on either day as none left, distinct lack of tea spoons and no peppermint tea! However, enjoyed all I did have. I should say the negatives were only minor.

Stayed for 2 nights for my husbands birthday. On arrival the room had been decorated with confetti, balloons and party hats and there was delicious cake with fresh fruit and chocolates. This was so lovely and unexpected, they really had gone above and beyond for us. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a great location. Staff were great, would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

Loved it.
Don't know what it is about this hotel but it's one of my favourites. The room is predictable and has everything I want; Tea, coffee, TV, great bed.
But what I think I really like about this place is the ambience in and around reception and the bar - everyone is really friendly. It is also so convenient for Euston although we drove here and parked in the hotel car park (less expensive than the other places around that I looked at). The perfect place to centre yourself for a city break.
I have stayed here twice and will stay here again.

This hotel is very well located for anyone wanting access Euro Star and other Brit Rail trains as well as the tube. St Pancras, Euston and King's Cross Stations all within walking distance. Euston is accessible across the road if you use back entrance . Room clean and reasonably comfortable, we walked to Royal George Hotel for dinner which suited our needs for a quick bite of good food quickly. Speedy self check out which makes catch early train a smooth experience. Recommend to anyone planning on lots day rail trips or Euro star travellers.

The staff were amazing. They made my stay with the hotel an incredible experience and it left a lasting impression on me. Everything was clean, it was tidy it was safe the staff are extremely accommodating towards me and my boyfriend and even did a special something for his birthday when I told them, when I checked in I told them that it was going to be his 20th birthday and would they be able to do a little something for him (I had never done this before). Well, the next morning after breakfast he is presented with his very own cake, there are balloons party poppers and streamers and the staff sung happy birthday to him. It was so touching that they cared so much, they didn't have to do all that but they did. Some of the guests joined in on the singing so that was nice. They took my breath away with their hospitality.
The hotel is in an excellent location, you have the train station right next door and then the whole of London is right in front to of you. It was just an amazing stay. I will be coming back for more stays :)

Stayed overnight after travelling to Euston. If you are coming in to Euston the hotel could not be handier; it is literally across the road. I have always found this hotel to be convenient, well run and accommodating. I only used it as a place to lay my head for the night and, as such, it could not be better. Prices, for London, were good and the hotel is modern and well maintained.Rooms are always clean , well maintained and well managed. I would certainly go back if I was making the same journey

I stay here every time I am in London as it is so convenient for Euston station and the service is excellent and there is a nice bar and restaurant. Was on way to France so stayed here on the way out and again on way back. The first time I had a room in the new extension but the second time in the original building and the first room was the better of the two. The older room having a bath and shower and the first the now usual shower cubicle which I prefer.
A new innovation is that if you stay more than one night and opt not to have your room serviced you get a voucher for £5 to spend in the bar or restaurant per time you opt for that. Thought that was a nice touch.

My second stay at this hotel was great. Staff were friendly. I called for direction and had a help from the receptionist girl. Accor online check in check out is excellent time safer. Didn't have dinner but loved the breakfast, variety of food available from the hot and cold buffet. Tables were cleared out quickly. Room is nice and clean with comfy beds. Only downside we didn't have a hair dryer in the room, but that didn't bother too much. Most importantly I'd like to thank reception team for speedy friendly service. Highly recommend and Would definitely stay again.

Second visit to this hotel. It was very busy so they weren't able to give me a twin room even though I had phoned and requested a change from double to twin the week before and was told this would be done. I accept that if the hotel was fully booked then this request wasn't possible. Everything else i found was agreeable. Clean rooms and public areas. Very convenient if arriving at Euston station.

Easy check in with attentive staff waiting to help you . Friendly with humour and giving full instructions. Room, spotlessly clean, quiet throughout the stay. Breakfast was,as always, excellent and very comprehensive. I have always considered staying next to Euston as a bonus since that is my arrival and departure point. Leaving your luggage at the hotel until evening means that on collection you have only a short walk. Also you do not have to wrestle your luggage on public transport.
This was a really hot weekend and the iced 'fruit' water at reception was most welcome. A great stay enhancing a great weekend! [Other Guns n' Roses fans also staying at the Ibis Euston.

Overall, the stay was fine. Not too keen on the reception staff being front of desk, as there was a lot of milling around by customers not sure where to position themselves while waiting. Nice foyer area. The training course I was attending was comfortably situated and the catering was good. The room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Only issue was not being able to control the air conditioning - I was too warm and there was nothing I could do about it.

On arrival I was given a room that I found a bit noisy because I could hear the trains in and out of Euston station . I immediately mentioned this to the deputy manager,Sheila, who provided me with a quiet room where I spent my 10 nights quite happily. She has my gratitude. The whole staff was kind, welcoming and very professional. I got a lot of attention from the manager and her deputies.
The place was like a temporary home to me.
As a long-stay guest,I would have liked the restaurant menu to offer a wider choice.

A very easy check in and check out service. Had a very good meal for dinner which was a lot of food for the money. Also offered gluten free options. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Also it was surprisingly quiet considering we were in central London.

The hotel is good value for money in a good location. Right next to Euston station. It was clean and comfortable.
Only downside was reception was a little bit confusing and there was no real order to guests checking out. The set up made it easy for people to cut in. The staff were helpful and friendly though.

I stay at the Euston Ibis all the time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are normally clean.
However. The change in the registration on arrival process is now beyond a joke. Not having a desk is ridiculous. The staff never know who is next in line and move to the wrong, pushy people. Staff wander around and come and go so there is no order or priority. Credit cards are taken all over the place to check payment details, away from the customer. I have mentioned this concern when I book in but the process seems to be getting worse because now the portable dais has also gone.
There is a desk available so why not use it.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ibis in Euston. Having arrived on the train, the location is perfect, you can literally walk off the platform and into the hotel reception. The rooms are basic but the bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet despite the proximity to the Euston Road and the train station. There is a decent selection of food at breakfast, and it's served until 10am which caters for the late riser as well. The location is also handy for walking down into Soho if the weather is nice.

Had an issue with the allocated room. Booked a double as it was our anniversary and was given a twin. Fortunately as I checked in in the early afternnon a staff member was able to sort it out so we had a double. Not sure if this would have been the case if we had arrived together at 8pm as originally planned.

Room was good, clean and very quiet so had good nights sleep.

This relates to my stay at the hotel on Wednesday/ Thursday 3rd / 4th May ( I do not expect to be automatically sent a survey for this particular stay!)

On early arrival I was told that my preferred shower room was not available. In fact it was presumed that I would prefer early entry to a noisy first floor room directly above the outside smoking area and adjacent to the lift rather than just leave my luggage (as I usually have to do). This was presumptuous!

The room was stuffy and hot and there was no air con (it is May -when will this be available?) opening the window was not an option as the street was noisy and the smell of smoke unpleasant. I did not sleep much!

And then I went to the restaurant for supper. The service was AWFUL. I do not blame the staff as there were just too few to cope.

Your prices are too high to endure this sort of experience and I am a 'gold' customer!

The hotel is extremely convenient as I stay there regularly. However, I am very unhappy with the new check-in system. As a customer, you have to wander around the foyer trying to find someone who can help you. It is not clear where you are supposed to queue for assistance. When you have luggage, it is very hard to keep walking around with your cases trying to find someone who can help. Also, there is no room anywhere for you to leave your handbag etc while you pay. It all feels very trendy but not at all suitable for a hotel lobby. What may work in an Apple store does not work at all at the Ibis. I strongly urge you to revert to having a front desk.

Not as good as usual. I was forced to book a room with breakfast - there was no possibility of booking a room only. Breakfast was an unpleasant experience - there were no normal tables so I had to eat in the bar bent over a low table or with the plate on my knee. If you insist on customers paying for breakfast then please at least have the facilities ( chairs and dining height tables) to cope with the numbers. The roving reception idea takes more time than if there is a fixed desk. It appeared some documents were not available on the tablets everyone carried but in folders which had to be retrieved from the back office. Crowds waiting to check in just in front of the lifts seems badly thought out. Give your receptionists a home where all their materials are in one place and a location where guests can check in privately and in an orderly way without a host of other guests pushing to get served.

I was greeted on arrival by a very pleasant young lady who offered me a room on the first floor, which was ideal, as I suffer from vertigo. When checking out, I found it very easy and my bags were stored until our train departure. Which was a great help. The barman was help in the evening, helping us choose a nice wine and overall a very pleasing stay.

Exceptionally easy check in and check out, very friendly and attentive staff, clean pleasant room. Environmentally friendly. Only criticism is that the room was quite warm at night, the only way to cool it down was to open the window which didn't help much.

Lovely hotel for a reasonable price!! Decent size room with a comfy double bed and ample space for clothing. Ideal location for visiting London as it's a stone's throw away from Euston station meaning no need to cart bags around on the tube!

2017 update... So given this place a miss for a good few months, but was the only place available for a last minute booking... Menu is exactly the same as over 6 months ago, beer was awful and the menu cards are all gnarled and grubby.

2016.... Downgrade of my review. stayed a number of times over the last few months. food & service in the restaurant have both deteriorated in that time. indifferent at best.

Rooms basic but clean. Bed was comfortable.

Food in the restaurant is below average, pre cooked frozen dinner style fare, breakfast is better, hot and has plenty of choice, however they struggle to keep everything available.

Not keen on the ironing room, but it's a small grumble. You can ring reception for an ironing board to be brought to your room though (might not always work)

Fine for business. Would NEVER stay if I wasn't traveling with work.

Really convenient right next to Euston station. Rooms are a little small but nicely fitted out. Food in the restaurant was pretty good and the service was very fast. Both in the restaurant and at the check in desk. Best Ibis I've stayed in.

Very convenient location. Professional front house staff & secure bag drop service. Building a little old so walls a little thin in our first floor room. Slept perfectly fine though, just a surprise & contrast compared to very new/modern looking entrance.

Ah! The joy of Ibis. You know what you are getting. Clean and pleasant accommodation in a modernesque style. And a hearty buffet breakfast. This particular Ibis was as well managed as we have come to expect. And very handy indeed for Euston station. A very easy walk from King's Cross as well - about 6-8 minutes.

Quick, simple and efficient check in. Room on the small side but was clean and tidy. Good power in the shower, though not good for someone over 6' tall. However I did enjoy that shower. Breakfast was decent well cooked in the main, scrambled eggs a bit rubbery. Would stay here again.

This is one of the best budget business hotels in Central London. Located near Euston station, I found it very convenient to travel around London given the ease of access of the Tube, Buses and cabs near by this place.
The rooms are slightly smaller in size but being in London it's expected. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Each room has a private bathroom, a bath tub, a hair dryer, a flat screen TV and a work desk. There is also a coffee maker in every room.
Breakfast in the hotel is also very good. Being a vegetarian I am not sure about the non veg options but nonetheless the food was good. The restaurant gets busy around 8-9 am so ensure you have an early breakfast. The front desk reception staff were warm and welcoming.

Overall 5 stars. The staff were fantastic, especially Marco on the front desk. We were allowed to check in three hours early (which enabled us to get the maximum from our first day in London) and the room, while small, was clean and the bed was fantastic. Shower was compact but more than adequate. Breakfast was good for the price. The location for a weekender in the Captial is perfect, central for the underground network and within walking distance Euston Station.
Will definitely be staying there again. Recommended if you're on a budget.

Great Value, good quality buffet breakfast in the heart of London.

It's right next to Euston station and for basically the same price as a coffee and a meal deal in the station you get an unlimited sit down breakfast. It's a no brainer- highly recommended.

Excellent location, right near Euston station. Lovely room, great service.

Boiling hot when we arrived, no air conditioning although there is an air cooling system but it didn't seem to make much difference, however, nice big open window and after phoning the reception they sent someone up with a fan which made the stay fantastic!

Wonderful service from the waitress in the eating area.

Would definitely recommend staying here. This is mine and my partners new place to stay for our London trips!

Good modern hotel, rooms basic but clean. Bed was comfortable.

Food in the restaurant was nice, breakfast was good, hot and had plenty of choice. (Edit August 2016: Breakfast has been updated and is even better, now offers better selection for continental, and has smoothies)

Not keen on the ironing room, but it's a small grumble. You can ring reception for an ironing board to be brought to your room though (might not always work)

Fine for a night or two.

Visited this Hotel for a three night break in London, checking in on 19/12/2014 and departing 22/12/2014. The Hotel is great. Located next door to Euston Station & a short walk from Kings Cross it is a great location for short stays. The walk into the centre of London and down to the Thames is about 15/20 minutes, which also makes it great for long weekends like I had. When I needed extra towels I rung the reception and more were brought up within minutes, the room was exceptionally clean and the Shower was brilliant. The bed was one of the new comfort beds and that it exactly what it was...comfortable. Lots of choices in the hotel of things to do and bites to eat. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting London, whatever sort of stay you're thinking about having.
