Poped in here for a drink. Very elegant and beautiful setting. The gin and tonic was made perfectly.

Amazing location, very close to local tube stop.
Within walking distance to Leicester Square and convent Gardens.
Lovely but dated Hotel. The rooms are on the smaller scale but for a place to sleep in the city it's a great choice.

A perfect way to spend an afternoon out of the rain. The bar area had plenty of space and sofa areas to sit, relax and have a nice cup of tea. We came to see the Fawlty Towers live theater in one of the rooms and arrived early. The staff were plesent and very helpful.

The hotel is an excellent point in town, close to everywhere. They also have "handy" an android device which you take it with you and use it for internet and calls! Good breakfast

We had a great girlie weekend. Greeted at door by two lovely gentlemen who took our cases and made us feel very welcome. All staff were pleasant. The food was very good and breakfast was more than enough. Our rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Good night sleep and never heard any traffic like we normally do in London. GREAT . We will return again next year. Marie x

Great central location just off holborn. Didnt eat there so cannot comment on that. Room a fair size, some facilities eg safe and iron in room were useful. The bathroom and room itself was clean and tidy. Staff that i experienced were friendly and helpful. Would use again

Affordable afternoon tea. Nice staff, occasional mistake can happen (cold water in teapot when asking for a refill). Good quality scones.

Very conveniently near Holborn station. I attended a social function and we were situated in the Milton and keats room. It was a nicely presented room, very good service throughout and wonderful food provided.

Be careful this hotel overcharges you, I booked my hotel through Expedia for £189 got charged £192 when checking out. Another surprise when I got home they had charged me £10.50 without notice or a receipt. The hotel staff are very difficult understand.
Hotel is four stars the rooms are very nice had a good night's sleep.

Quite a pricey afternoon tea and it was just ok. The smell of the buffet permeates the whole restaurant so you will have seafood aroma in your nose while eating your sweet treats.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Stayed here on business so did not pay for the room myself. The hotel and rooms are clean and the staff are friendly, however, it feels like everything is stuck in the past. The decor of the hotel is very old fashioned and would benefit from a refresh. My room was clean and a reasonable size, however, the double bed was made of two single mattresses pushed together which meant the ridge down the middle was quite uncomfortable. My colleagues in other rooms had one whole double mattress on their beds, so this was a bit inconsistent. Also a colleague was told they had a complementary upgrade to a deluxe room, and we still have no idea what the difference was after comparing rooms. Quite average overall.

Visited for a three course dinner as part of the Faulty Towers Dining Experience. Simple, tasty food, attentive, friendly service and, while bar prices are high, they are what you would expect for central London.

The hotel staff were nice and friendly. I was at the hotel for a dinner show - the food was superb and the entertainment was genuinely funny. It is in a convenient location, right in the heart of London, so it is very easy to get to.

Very good hotel, our room was clean & furnished with two arm chairs. The bed was not what I would call full length. When I mentioned this to the receptionist the reply was that 'they had had this complaint before and and there were plans for new beds'.
If you're much over 6ft it's worth checking that the bed is long enough.
The hotel is well located, 5 mins from Covent Garden. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice.

The hotel is very well situated for central London although on a very busy street. Staff are helpful except for door staff when it comes to getting a taxi to the airport. I paid £73 from Heathrow to the hotel in a London Black cab but £120 in a Mercedes car organised by the hotel for the return journey. Never again.

8

The food served is absolutely lovely, although vegan / fish alternatives could be improved upon. The main issue is the choice (or lack of) drinks. They have few beers on draught, and even fewer ciders. The different floors don't have the same options so you may find yourself travelling from floor to floor to get the ideal 'round' in. The staff are friendly and atmosphere good as well. Just let down by these options.

Good location near Holborn tube station.
For a 4 star hotel the staff are not trained to sell their amenities. You have to ask where the breakfast is being served, and what time. The rest you have to find yourself.

Lovely hotel very clean, well presented. From the moment you check in nothing is too much trouble. Staff are polite and friendly. On check in we were offered an upgrade to a deluxe room at a cost but to be honest i dont think it made any difference to our stay. Our room was at the front of the building, you could here the noise from the bars opposite upto 3am so would ask for a quieter room if stayed again, which we will be doing. Good selection at breakfast.

Went for the Fawlty Towers experience, which did not disappoint. Hilarious! Food seemed good for the non vegetarian but as I as a vegetarian it was ok hence 3 stars. Note: this is not a rating for the hotel but for the in house restaurant. Can't complain about the staff nor the management they were good.

Absolutely love this place. Bedrooms are massive. theres spa swimming pool. Posh restaurant, pub food, computers gym, training classes, executive meeting rooms. the staff are brilliant and the cleaners do a fantastic job. Bed is comfortable and huge, breakfast inc in the price, and whole stay is very cheap.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic, helpful staff. Situated a couple minutes walk from Covent Garden the location also allows an easy walk to Leicester Square. With an Emperor bed and comfortable room size the stay was most enjoyable. Will stay again.

We attended the London Comedy Club, which happens in one of the function rooms. It was a mixed bag with some decent acts and some terrible ones, but isn't actually anything to do with the hotel, so I'm not marking the hotel down.

We didn't see much of the hotel itself, but what we did see seemed very nice.

No complaints. Comfortable bed, clean rooms with all amenities, cheerful staff.
There was construction noise at 7:30am on a Saturday which I didn't appreciate very much but there's nothing the hotel could do about that.

9

For the price, this was a great stay. Room was of decent size, by US standards, and the service was friendly. Breakfast included with the rate was fine, and the wifi worked well. Best of all, the location is fantastic. Walk west on Great Queen St towards Covent Garden and the opera house, and you are in a fun neighborhood. Walk north east a few blocks and you are on two main Tube lines.

Really a good stay at a good rate. It's not the Ritz or anything but it's comfortable and a great value in London.

I haven't stayed at this hotel but I have made use of the bar in the foyer. The bar itself isn't anything special and just a little overpriced, but it's about the only place you'll get a quiet and uninterrupted drink in Central London on a Saturday night. So paying £12ish for two double vodka tonics almost seems worth it. It's worth noting that they stop serving drinks around 11pm if you're not staying in the hotel, and it gets a bit busier once the theatres close around 10pm.
