Service was great all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous and there were so many fun activities :)

As usual, this time also, I was very satisfied with the services of the hotel.. They provided amazing buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and as compared to other hotels, their food is always absolutely superb! Rooms are very beautiful and clean.. Their swimming pools are just wow! Loved everything about the hotel and the hotel personnels are very nice and welcoming.. In short, it was value for money service!! Despite the renovation work going on, we managed to enjoy most of the hotel facilities and are very satisfied!!

We just love Le Méridien, the staff were very helpful, it is the best place to be with your family. We were worried at first because our grandmother is a wheelchair user, the staff were so humble and patient each time we had to move around with our grandmother. The rooms were very neat with a 5* look, food was excellent with a large variety for both dinner and breakfast. We could not take lunch as we were already full up. Thank you Le Méridien and the amazing staff.

Like most hotels in Mauritius, their hospitality standards are not in line with South Africa... However, the staff are exceptional, who really go out of their way to assist. We stayed in the Presidential suite but we found it to be average. Great location situated in Grand Bay.

What an amazing stay at the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and humble. The staff have really gone out of their way to make our stay with them comfortable. They have gone an extra mile to prove that they pride themselves in offering a good service and stay to all clients. Good things first. Large, airy rooms. Great variety and quality of food. Great location on the beach and some complimentary sea activities. Close to other good beaches.
Bad things, very poor lighting in the room. Reception staff could be more courteous. Open facilities like the sauna and steam room and jacuzzi need a lot of improvement. The beach is rocky and not really a great one for swimmers.

I really enjoyed this place. Check the menu before committing to a restaurant Cumin, the Indian restaurant downstairs was my default. there are nice grocery stores down the road. Room service is of high quality but expected room service prices. the fridge was not working and they never got it fixed. The cleaners did miss a step here and there but nothing major and were very nice. We accidentally got locked out they were very helpful in helping us and avoiding any charge well done the maintenance crew. they had a early breakfast for us when out plane was leaving early in the morning. I say well done to the hotel staff.

The resort is amazing for kids & all alike!! We absolutely loved it, the service is very friendly, 4 restaurants allow for a selection to eat. Great place & amazing service!! Loved every minute of it with 2 small kids.

Had a most pleasant and relaxing stay in The Nirvana. Great housekeeping team, friendly waitrons. Highly recommended. All staff members were extremely accommodating as specific needs arise.

The moment you enter, you will know all the money was worth it. Just a bit amazing resort with good food and great service. The private beach is a nice place to enjoy and chill too !

Very good location and very good facilities. But candle light dinner of this hotel is not so good and you will feel that the bed is little moist because of the weather though the bed sheets are being changed every day. Rooms are sea facing and view is amazing. Breakfast and lunch are also nice. One should stay in this hotel.

A very beautiful place. Enjoyed being in the room by the sea beach and the swimming pool. Food was good. Chief chef Mr Khan takes personal care of almost all guests. We even could get Jain food there without onion garlic and liked it too. Rooms r big, staff is courteous

In desperate need of a refurb and some tlc. Paint chipping away, metal framework of door. Handles had come loose, Dirty and stained net curtains. I stayed 2 nights with my toddler, bed was awful and dipped in created a curve. Would not return simply because of clearly over used mattress.

Staff were generally very polite and accommodating especially y when noticing I was with a very difficult toddler!

Room service portions were small for the price paid and surprisingly meals on the kids menu were big enough to feed an adult at half the price!

Restaurants were lovely and had amazing food lots of variation and in different locations of the hotel.

Food is simply amazing, The hospitality is so refreshing. Staff goes above and beyond. Rooms are clean and spacious. Views are breath taking.

The staff at the resort are great, and are trying everything in their power to make you have an amazing time.
The resort is very big, some of the rooms are newer than others, but overall everything is of good quality and plenty of things to do around the resort. A lot of the water activities are free of charge.

We got married with my wife at the hotel.Rooms are great, clean and spacious.You have a very nice sea view. We got great service during a wedding, our 2 cooperators were fantastic and helpful. There is a huge choice of food all day, nice salads in the beach bar. You can have a cocktail in the freah coconut on the beach while watching sunset. You really get feeling that you are in the paradise

Services good. Needs better cleanliness and maintenance. Food quality needs drastic improvement especially vegetarian. The dining area has cats which is disturbing. Battery should be available easily for elderly people as the rooms are very far off. Can improve. May be management needs to put better supervision

Awesome stay. The hotel is self contained and has all activities complementary for guests that costs a decent money through tourist agents at Mauritius. Spent a memorable week in the hotel.

The staff and the room is lovely. But the food is not good at all. I book in for my Brother birthday they organised a cake for him and then they told me they will send the cake in his room which they never send in his room which is not nice at all to do and I never heard of it . Never go back again. The entertainment not great .

Beautiful family resort, excellent access to the beach. Great business centre. Reliable internet. Complimentary activities is a must to make your vacation more memorable and enjoyable. Breakfast was great.. Dinner buffet at the Indian restaurant was not nice and way too expensive. Great pools and cocktails.. Lots of entertainment for young and old.. Will definitely be back here...

Le Meridien Ile Maurice has Spectacular views, nice clean rooms, helpful staffs and great hospitality, variety of food and drink, beautiful garden, clean beach what else one need for a relaxing vacation. There's no pure vegetarian restaurant in the property but it's manageable as the Indian restaurant "Cummin" has variety of vegetarian options, however it will difficult for people who don't eat in non veg serving restaurants. Overall a great stay. Loved the property and the peace.

Fabulous hotel, super kind personnel assisting and helping all the time, working extremely hard. Was there during the cyclone and the hotel management organised our stay with affordable extra nights, programme and amazing support all the time. Hotel is perfect for families with children or couples who want some privacy. Its divided to two areas.. Food was delicious beyond the taste and the sous chef Ali is a top top award winning chef!

I was there for a wedding in December 2017. The service was very good and the staff polite and smiling. The dinner buffet was very well garnished with a variety of starters. For the main course there was a wide choice. Oberall a hood service.

We have just come back from an AMAZING experience at this resort..Top class service, all staff friendly, caring and accommodating, rooms of utmost cleanliness..felt like we were in Heaven.. Thank you to ALL staff at Le Meridian for making our stay so wonderful.. We will def be back and def recommmend!!

Good beach , great view , very windy .Elegant hotel , bit run down due to no repairs recently .Decent food .Indian restaurant is good .The free activities like glass bottom boat , snorkeling , wind shrfind are good .Tip - as soon as you check in to the hotel , it would be a good idea to check about the schedule of free activities and register yourself .Else you would miss them .e.g. sail boat practice happens only Tuesdays and Fridays .this place has an average children's play area but good activities for children like water polo , movie screening etc ..

That is the second time we stayed in Meridien.the most I liked is the room,food is excellent especially Cumin restaurant my husband love his indian good mow he is happy after he haf hid paratha

Beautiful property . Far away from the city and crowd. Beach side property .. clear water and white sand. Hotel also have water sport facility so you can stay in hotel for 4 days. Food is really good, you can easily get indian food so no need to carry with you

we stayed in the Nirvana. had a couple of issues with cleanliness but the staff were fantastic in sorting them out and very apologetic. the hotel is old and the room we had, despite the beautiful, view was more like a business suite. the food was pretty good but we were charged $5 for a bottle of tap water at the restaurant- it was in re usable unsealed water bottles. that was a major disappointment. drinks are very overpriced. quite a few water activities during the day. the sega show was really good!!!
was quite disappointing overall for a 4 star hotel. been to 3 stars which provided better services.

Amazing day well spent with the family! Everyone was very satisfied. Le Meridien team planned activities for us (race, tug-of-war, treasure hunt etc), and we all had so much fun! Food was very tasty! It was an open buffet. The personel was so helpful and even catered to our want to dance a bit before departing! Thank you so much!

Nice hotel in a decent spot on the NW coast. Property is aging but upkeep seems good and you get larger rooms than you would with more modern resorts. Nice pools, quality restaurants, kid friendly. There isn't much of anything within walking distance so be prepared to pay the ridiculous resort prices for food and drinks. $12 for a can of beer?!?

The hotel is situated on a beautiful white sand beach. The property is a bit old but that really doesn't affect your stay as the rooms are spacious and cozy. There are 5 restaurants, a bar by the swimming pool, a diving but, awesome spa and gym facilities, kid zone and a special zone (including an infinity pool) only for the honeymooners and so much more here! The staff is friendly, cordial and always eager to assist you.

You can't see sunrise from here but, watching the sun set and moon rise is an extremely serene experience from its beach.

There are so many fun activities and water sports accessible for free for the guests that you just can't get bored here.

There are 5 restaurants here and all of them serve amazing food. The Indian restaurant is just perfect for the Indian tourists. The head chef personally prepared khichdi for my parents when they got sick off heavy food and it was the yummiest khichdi they've ever had!

Had an amazing time with Le Meridien. Excellent location and the beach view was right in front of my hotel room. Food is pretty good as well. Overall a must place to stay in case if you don't have any constraint in your budget!

Really amazing spot, make sure to stay in the Nirvana section if you don't have kids and want peace and quiet. Service was a hit and miss, but when it was good it was really amazing. Sylvester at the boat house was also very friendly and great at accommodating us.

Hotel rooms were well maintained and cleaned regularly. Food, ambience and view from the room as well as the hotel were beautiful. Food was delicious . Breakfast- a wide spread of English breakfast from pancake to eggs and muffins and also cereal and fruits for everyone's liking. Indian food served seperatly with limited options but cooked well. Dinner was delicious with again a wide spread . They have three restaurant within the hotel which can be chosen for dinner (booked by prior notice at the reception).

I like: location, awesome view, awesome swingpool, outdoor activities (kayak, wakeboard!!!!, Laser boat, etc...).
Food is okay (buffet).
Rooms are big, many furnitures but I found the decoration very poor for such a place... Also during the stay, so many spamming papers very delivered on our bed... I felt almost attacked by those. The kind of paper saying "tomorrow you need to checkout before xxx, if you don't, you will have to pay that xxx EUR). Papers were in French while we had non French speaking guests... Just stop the paper.. please! And it's perfect!
Massage super expensive but I think it's the price for Mauritius.
Overall, it was still a super nice trip!!

Great sea front hotel with good facilities. Lots of activities, water sports. Good restaurants and diverse food experiences. Loved it.

Amazing beach, not too good for snorkelling however you can swim to the reef and snorkel there. There are boat trips twice a day that take you to another part of the reef. Beachfront is about 1km long. The pool(also very long) is heated to a comfortable temperature. The restaurants(4 to choose from) are expensive but you are able to walk to a cafe/shop(500m from hotel) and buy coldrinks, chips and souvenirs for 1/3 of the price. The service is great here, the rooms are big with air conditioning as well as a bar fridge, so you are able to store your own coldrinks etc. Beachvolleyball, wakeboarding, water ski-ing, snorkelling, windsurfing and sailing are all included at no cost. Wifi is free and uncapped and covers the entire hotel area including the beachfront.

Great hotel. We asked for Jain food and we got a great variety in the food that was served. Restaurant staff was warm and inviting. Service was great. View was excellent. Water activities at the hotel were awesome. Candle light dinner was not great, everything else pretty great.

Staff were very welcoming, food was excellent. Beach was nice and free hiring of rubber saddles to go in the water. I requested a firm mattress from the mamager Ahmed and this was provided.

The complimented Le Meridian Tee shirts and Azad left 3 complimentary Tee shirts in the room.

Sam checked us in and brought mini screw drivers from home to change batteries in my son's remote control car.

“Classic Mauritian bad service”

We recently spent some time (not staying there) at this hotel for a friend's wedding and were appalled at the general bad service and low standards. For example, the ladies toilet close to the pool area was filthy, the bar was closed on a Sunday afternoon, etc. The waiting during the wedding dinner was pretty poor on the first night, and somewhat better on the second night.

We tried to book a room there for the weekend, but the hotel was fully booked. Eventually we managed to get a room at the Le Victoria next door, and were grateful that things turned out so, since the Le Victoria has much nicer rooms and much, much better service.

The only redeeming quality of the hotel is that the food served during the wedding was amazing - especially the briyani and the curry burry.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The staff is nice and courtesy. The restaurant LA FAYA has the best service on the property.

This is a place to unwind. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to please us as guests. Wide choice of food and drinks. I found heaven here. Jimmy the manager for foods we fantastic. Views are great. Music every night. Great vibe not only for honeymoon couples.

The Hotel is really well maintained with utmost importance on quality of food.
It gives you pleasure of living in a big palace owned by you.
