Just stayed one night there while traveling through Jacksonville. Service was excellent. Room was clean ,staff was very nice/helpful and check out was a breeze. I also forgot my diamond earrings on the bathroom counter ,went back and the manager personally walked me back to my room I was staying in to check.THEY WERE STILL THERE just knocked on the floor when the maid cleaned the counter. I would definitely stay here again !

I went there to enquire about a wedding that a member of my family is having and wants to use Marble Waters as the venue. The manager was not in, however the hotel staff was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Overall I would say they have a very nice staff and very helpful. Got my wedding booked too.

Fairly nice place with a pool and acceptably polite staff. Inquired about the restaurant on sight and was told it was closed due to renovations. Seems kind of odd for a hotel that's fairly new to be going through a renovation especially because it looks completely finished. My guess is they probably lost money by keeping it open and closed it. Rooms are nice and bed is comfortable. If you want ice on the fourth floor you're SOL, says ice but no machine or vending to be seen. Gym is lackluster with a treadmill, elliptical, some weights, and a couple stationary bikes. No continental breakfast either which I would expect for a hotel with their price point. I'd stay again I suppose though.

Run down for newer place. Really nice front desk attendant. Bed comfortable. Oddly deserted and no ammenities for price. Not especially clean, but not the worst. Way over priced for what you get. About a 60-70.00 room, really.

The Marble Waters Hotel and Suites was very spacious. The room and facilities were nice. I didn't love the bathroom experience as the shampoo and soap were mounted on the wall outside the shower so you had to drip water all over to get to those.

Location is Epic, but from what we had heard they got rid of all the kitchen staff, so the on-campus restaurant was closed, with no morning breakfast. We had to play Seek & Find in order to locate the vending machines. The exercise room was trash. They had like 4 bikes and one treadmill, with a bucket of water to catch a leak right next to the treadmill (an accident waiting to happen). We had to switch rooms because the tub would not drain and the Jacuzzi did not work (not that we cared about that part). This was during end of Spring Break weekend. But you don't go to Jacksonville just to stay in the hotel.

I felt the room was to expensive for what we actually received. There's no continental breakfast, there's no free coffee in the lobby. In fact there is a antique car that is in the lobby and is just in the way of the check in process. There's no soap in the showers, it uses a dispenser near the sink which you really can't reach, the room was moderately clean, the thing that bothered me the most was a $50 hold on my credit card. There's no reason for that particular maneuver when the the room comes with no food, drinks or bar... Just a hassle. The hotel had a feel as if it were going out of business to be frank, despite all the other hotels in the area being full, there were few guests here. I would not stay there again...

Got a room with 2 queen beds.. I honestly think it was a full. Each bed had TWO pillows. Only.. 1 for u and 1 for the person you're sharing the bed with. The "economy sized" shampoo and body wash was attached to the wall outside of the shower and it was pretty much empty. The door to the freezer was missing in the mini fridge so it had a thick layer of ice in it. Not a good experience unfortunately. For the way it looks in the lobby, they should've invested more in the rooms.

Before checking in for the weekend, I called the hotel to ask about amenities and such. James was very pleasant when answering my questions even apologized for not having Starbucks brand coffee. Ms. Faye, the General Manager helped with suggestions on how to get a group rate however, a young lady by the name of "front desk", needs to take some pointers from these two on how to provide top notch customer service.

The room is very basic, comfortable bed, flat screen (of course)with LOTS of channels(my sweetheart was very impressed). The are no safes or hangers in rooms. You share shampoo, conditioner, and lotion with previous guest....

Parking was a fine....

Very remote but awesome location and not a lot of other guest were there. Seems to be pretty new area. Neat rooms, good showers and bathroom and speedy check-in.

Pretty nice hotel. Something a little weird is that they have all the soap in these black squeeze bottles mounted on the wall. The bottle for body wash is strangely located outside of the bathtub. Besides these weird quirks, it's a pretty nice hotel.

Its a nice place but over priced I think and they don't serve breakfast. Also no soaps, shampoo etc in bathroom. Only toilet paper so thank goodness I bring my own. Not saying I wouldn't stay here again but they could tighten up a little.

Okay size room. Very plain and simple. Far from luxurious. Was disappointed not to find individual soap/shampoo for the price we paid. Instead, you'll find tubes attached to wall that you have to squeeze to get soap and shampoo. Very odd I thought. But overall, clean room and king size bed was comfy.

I was sent to Jacksonville by my job and because of Hurricane Irma I was stuck there and couldn't leave the city to go back home, My job booked this hotel and the front desk man aka the do it all man Doni! Was very helpful in assisting all my needs, the cleaning staff we're also very helpful, and the hotel kept us safe and the power rolling during the storm! Great job guys!! Would recommend again!

Location was good. Easy 10 minute drive to beaches. Rooms were ok, nothing special. Restaurant and cafe were closed so nothing to eat at hotel.

It was okay. You get what you pay for, and at $68/night, it wasn't bad. Not as good as Courtyard, but not as trashy as a Super 8.

There was no breakfast because the restaurant was under "renovation", although I saw no renovations happening during my 4 day stay. Judging by previous reviews, the breakfast was nothing to rave about anyway. Beds are extremely small, more like a full sized bed and not a double. Pillows were very flat so you might want to bring your own. Hard getting clean towels, let alone enough towels. There were 4 of us and only 2 full sized towels so I had to request more. The guy at the front desk said he could have them by the morning, which was unacceptable after coming from the beach. I told him I would take whatever towels they have, he handed me 4 hand sized towels. Luckily another staff member came out of nowhere and offered to go and get more towels. Also, our refrigerator was not working the first night. We didn't realize it until morning, but they did have it repaired by the time we got back that evening. There is a Keurig in the room if you're a big time coffee drinker like me. I'm picky about my coffee so I went over to Walmart across the street and got my own K-cups.

The pool area is okay. No tables or lounge chairs if you want to sit poolside, but there is an outdoor living room on the other side of the pool gate. They should invest in actual lounge chairs because it would prevent cover-ups and towels from draping over the gates, which looks tacky from the outside. The pool is 3 to 5 feet deep, however, there is a large fountain in the center. It looks nice but it can be a problem if you like to swim laps in the pool. The Jacuzzi tub next to the pool is nice and relaxing, it helped my muscles relax after wrestling ocean waves all day. There is also a spa tub inside the room, but I did not bother with it.

All in all, I had a great trip! I'm one of those people that just needs a clean place to stay close to my attractions while on vacation. There is tons of shopping and dining in the area that you don't really need to drive. The beach was about 10-15 minutes away and the parking is free. I won't complain about the hotel because there is not a hotel on this earth that can be as comfortable as my own home. So if you're like me and just need a place to shower and sleep, then I recommend it. But if you're looking for a 5 star hotel, then don't stay at a 3 star. Pay $200+ a night so that you can have those amenities. What do you expect when the rates are less than $100? You get what you pay for, and for the price of this hotel, I got enough.

We had reserved a king size room on line as we drove into jacksonville. When we got to the hotel they were out of those rooms, so they upgraded us to a king size suite!!! It was awesome.

The service was great, and it was spacious, plus for a family of 4+ it gave a 2 connection bedroom. Also breakfast was very good. The only problem was that the pool looked slightly dirty and in an unatural color. But the rest of the aspects were above average, and I would definitely stay at this family, secure hotel

The hotel staff was friendly! Allowed early check in if rooms were available. Breakfast was "grab and go" items Yogurt, apples, muffins etc. direct tv available which was nice. I was unhappy about the smell of the water. On the coffee maker in room note reads "use bottle water only". I am not sure what's wrong with the water but, I wouldn't drink it. There was mold on the shower curtain and wall.

Check in was smooth, fast, and easy. Customer service throughout the hotel was excellent. Room was nice and clean. Only complaint was we had one trash can by the TV with no trash can in the bathroom. We stayed two nights and the trash can was not emptied, however our beds were made. Saturday night the pool area had been rented for a party and I was told it would end by 9pm. I called the front desk at 10pm and was told the music was going to be turned down shortly. This was a nuisance, as my mother and I were exhausted from a 5k we had finished earlier in the day and we had a 4 hour drive the next day to get home. The bathroom does have a bubble tub, not Jacuzzi. It did not work and I called the front desk. Maintenance came quickly and promptly. He fixed it and we were able to use it. It was a very good and strong bubble tub. The say they have free breakfast, however it was a 'grab and go' type and did not offer much in the way of food. All in all, we would stay again as we think it has great potential.

This place is around four to five years old. With that being said they need to improve on some things. The restaurant wasn't open at the time and they did not offer any coupon or voucher for area restaurants. There is no early check-in and luggage storage for guest who have just travel long distance. I can't give it two and a half Stars so I'm giving it three. But once they get their act together, this will to a nice hotel..

This is an excellent hotel. They have a very friendly and helpful staff, and their rooms are spacious and comfortable, as well as being very affordable. It is light years ahead of other similarly priced hotels.

I booked a room for one night at this hotel through a travel agency, before reading any reviews. I then decided to look at the reviews and maybe pictures of the hotel. I started reading these awful reviews and I was terrified!!!! Thankfully, I had a wonderful, much needed stay! The jacuzzi tub worked, the bed was clean and comfy, there were towels, the tv worked, and the staff was super nice (one guy even went out of his way to help me with my trash)! No complaints here!

It was very nice and clean. I was a tourist and I just thought the water smelled weird but it could have just been me but they didn't have trash bags in the trashcans in the room, the front desk did not have any towels at one point after they finally answered the phone we had to use the pool towels we also had to ask for rags because the room just finished getting serviced before we walked in. Also we could not check in early because there were no rooms that were clean so we waited hours in the car in the heat. Also staff was friendly kind of they just need to get more organized with things and be clear in communication.

Its a nice hotel but don't let them fool you. It was definitely built on a low budget but they tried to make it look classy. With this being said a lot of things around the hotel look cheap or are broken. The best example would be it looks as if its an eBay knock off of something nice and and won't last. But its ok since its new, so not too many complaints yet but would love to see it in 10 years. The best example is the door lock access system. You're required to have you're card reprogramed every day as it will demagnetize by itself for no reason. Not a major deal but annoying. But there are 42" tvs in each room. Oh and don't expect to have your in room coffee replaced if you're there over 1 night, must cost them too much.

More than disappointing. ..poor housekeeping and maintenence.
Breakfast also a disappointment.
Could be a great place but just a mess.
Sent to an occupied room when we arrived.
Glad they weren't armed! Because they were very suprised and in their underwear!
Not a good value at all.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

We got here late and the guy was nice. I was ready to get in the hotel and relax in a bath before bed. Before getting there my son wanted to play the pin ball machine and it's broke and has been for a while. We then get to our room. It looked nice and the tub had jets and I hot excited for that until I got everything ready and the Jets did not work. The next morning my husband found out from the manager that the Jets do not work in several rooms, the touch screen guise they have doesn't work, and pinball machine is broke.

The AC has issues in our room because it is either too hot or too cold and the thermostat shows 70 and it 63. If you turn it up to 72 is 75 degrees. The pillows are flat and if you ask for more they do not know if housekeeping left any and they say they will check and call back in 20 minutes but they do not. We have one more night here and then we fly back home. As many issues we have had I will not be back.

Great location near lots of stores. Check in was quick and efficient. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Took a while for someone to take our order and our hot breakfast was cold by the time it came to us. Otherwise, would definitely recommend staying here.

Service was great. Hotel provided just what I needed for my particular stay, a nice comfy bed. I'm personally not too particular about hotels, but for what its worth, I was able to get a much needed good night's rest.

Had all the making of a good hotel for me: it was clean and it was quiet and the price was right. Decent free breakfast in the morning, too. Except the coffee... In which case there's a Dunkin Donuts and a Starbucks nearby, on Atlantic.

Mostly good things to say. New beautiful facility, but some things were not done very well. Jetted tub was unplugged. Ladies room front and center by the desk had a big serious EMPLOYEES only sign on it ... Strange. Reasonable price though and staff put forth their best effort.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights this past week and had a wonderful experience. We were very confused why this hotel received so many bad reviews. Everything about the place seemed brand new and clean, from the appliances in the room, to the towels and sheets, to the furniture and the carpets. The bathroom in our room looked as if it had never been used. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us whenever we walked into the hotel. The outdoor pool was spotless and beautiful as well. Don't listen to any bad reviews, this place was extremely clean and accommodating and I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing bad to say at all.
