I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room...
The floors where dirty...
I wish everyone can see the brooms they use to clean the rooms, it’s unbelievable how they can’t spend money on brooms and cleaning supplies...
I was in shock!!!
I ask for clean extra sheets and they brought me some dusty sheets....
The only thing I really liked was that they had this dedicated department for children to go play in the game machines and they where opened late...
I like the fact that they had a small toddler water splash...
The lines to check in was ridiculous!!!!!!
I will definitely not go again!!
Oh and that darn loud music playing too darn early in the morning, you can’t even sleep in late....

Beautiful pool/water park. There's also a pool on the other side of the hotel for the adults. I didn't really care to see the 4d experience because I had to pay on top of my reservation and there was a limited selection of movies which were not new releases. Food options were pretty good, though be prepared to pay for breakfast. Had a good time, would recommend as its own destination to relax and enjoy.

I visited this hotel when it used to be Nickelodeon Hotel and I must say that staff is super friendly, rooms are still nice but the crow of people I found this time in the pool area was not as it used to be, there were a lot of grown ups drinking and talking some language that was not appropriate for little kids as well as they was a lot of women were dressed in their bathing suite. This hotel is not family friendly, it feel more like I was going to a hotel during spring break where kids should not be allowed. I didn't eat in any of the restaurants, the day I wanted to have breakfast the line was huge so I left. Arcade was nice and so was the movie theater. Some rooms have a kitchen, the one we had did not but it was OK for us. Pillows were a little hard, linens were nice.

Rumor has it this place was just bought by Holiday Inn, so there is alot of work being done but limited signage to remind you. Parts of the exterior have been repainted, but rooms completely remodeled. Rooms were super clean but outside pool areas need some major work. All in all, a great quick getaway between the FL parks and budget friendly. Kids should have a blast outside and adults enjoy the poolside bars!

Overall this is a nice resort - several eatery options, 2 pools, plus the water park. The rooms have been updated and are very nice. The one bedroom suite was a great way for our family to relax without being on top of each other.
But, the housekeeping is lacking - dirty floors in our room every day and some days no service until after 5pm. The minimal elevators got frustrating at busy times. The pool side bar closes way too early for summer!

Rooms were very nice! Lots to do there for everyone. You could stay there all day and not run out of things to do. Kids under 12 eat free, so that is really helpful. There are water slides and a separate, more quiet pool as well. Really something for everyone!

The resort is amazing. My husband and I decided it was time to have a real family vacation with our girls. Let’s just say that this property did not disappoint us not at all. The price we paid for the weekend was more than awesome. Everything you needed is under one roof. Pools, food court, arcade, family friendly live entertainment. It was just the best weekend my girls had. We just checked out on Sunday and there to come back.

Room was exceptional clean and well kept. Housekeepers and staff in general are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included on the room rate. The quality of the breakfast provided was above average. Pool and water park facilities are just great. A fantastic place to stay if you have kids and want to stay in the hotel and rest between park visits. Highly recommended

We enjoyed our stay here with our kids ranging 5-11. We had a little trouble when we did early check-in and then didn't get called for our room and then didn't have a room at regular check-in time. But we got our correct room and it was clean with kid friendly decor. It is not huge but fit a family of five and was all we needed. The restaurant was nice with buffet style where all three kids ate free for the stay at breakfast and dinner. That was very nice and the food was pretty good and kid friendly for sure! The pools and water park were very crowded but fun to use. I agreed with a prior review I read that it would be nice for the slides to be open a little longer. Proximity to the parks is great! And there is a free shuttle but we wanted more flexibility so we just drove ourselves. One other thing about check-in that was a little annoying was after waiting again at regular check-in they sent me over to get a welcome pack and I waited in another line and it ended up being a salesperson trying to get me to tour a new property. There was an incentive associated but no "welcome pack". I may have been a sucker but I just don't appreciate being told to go pick up a packet (I figured it was just coupons but at least that would have been useful) and then leaving empty handed with more vacation time wasted. They also need to make sure their employees understand at least a little English. I understand it's Florida and English may not be great but they should at least know the basics like where is ice and where is the pool. That was a struggle as well a few times. But the inconveniences mentioned were pretty minor and did not affect the enjoyment of our stay or outweigh all the good this hotel had to offer. We would stay here again for sure!

Definitely kid friendly and nice, I have no complaints. Pool was nice waterpark was fun for us all. Very packed with kids but this is a kid friendly hotel. DJ was out by pool had everyone dancing, movie by the pool.. so many activities. The only little annoying thing was they try to sell you the time share and that’s annoying to have them talk about more than once. Kids eat free breakfast and dinner was good too different choices at the buffet every night. Lots of fun!

It was nice but I probably would choose to stay somewhere else next time we go to Orlando. The lagoon pool made me so sick about an hour after we left the pool I was ill till we left to go home. Most of the staff was AMAZING but there were some that were just rude and you could tell hated their job. They have a ton of activities for the kids which was really cool but with that being said....kids everywhere. The fan in the main bedroom was broken and I called but no-one ever fixed it, I tried to use it throughout our stay and it remained broken. The rest of my family raved about the oasis pool because it was fairly quiet. I didn't go in because of lagoon pool a day earlier making me sick. They really need 2 lagoon pool areas because it seems that is the main factor when choosing this resort. And clean the pool better. The 4D theater and the staff was great!! The staff at the arcade, great! The pizza place was delicious and staff was super friendly. But unfortunately I can only squeeze 3 stars out of me for this review.

Overall we had a great time, the kids enjoyed the on site water park, arcade and late night dance parties with the staff. My only complaint is that when I booked the two bedroom suite, I listed ages of all of our guest and opted in on the free breakfast ( I make sure I do this every where we stay). Well upon check in we were told that only two adults could eat free breakfast along with the kids. We had three adults and three kids. Also on the website it listed that kids eat free breakfast and dinner buffet, which for the dinner its only true if an adult pays for the buffet. I would still recommend this place!

Would recommend. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Upon arrival we received a free pizza coupon, 250 arcade points, candy, water bottles, and 10% off coupons for the market place downstairs. Our kids and us loved the 4d theater and the laser maze. They are fixing it up and you could tell but it was well worth the visit and price. We couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff made our visit. Rooms are great size.

Room was awesome and place was really cool. Not sure what all the complaints about cleanliness were all about. You kind of get what you pay for and this place was great for the money.
Only 2 downsides were their shuttle service was all but useless for a family with small kids. Nowhere near enough times to accommodate different schedules which was a big bummer and we had to rent a car and pay for parking as a result. The main restaurant was also very expensive for what you got and wouldn't recommend going. Don't be fooled by the "kids eat free"...you are paying for them in your price and it is still over priced.

We love visiting this place!! Our last stay was great as we got to stay close to the water park. The pool was warm considering we had lots of wind during our trip. The slides and other features had very cold water so the kids stayed away from it. The only thing we don't like are the amount of resort fees paid aside from the stay. They should have base pay with tax and not add resort fees over all that.

Amazing family hotel! From the moment we checked in, the hotel has been wonderful. They upgraded our room for free. The water park and pool are so much fun, for the adults and kids! We went with our 3 and 5 year old. The free breakfast was delicious. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great resort for families with young children. The buffet restaurant has above average food and is reasonably priced, but is poorly organized, resulting in long wait times to be seated even while multiple tables are empty and ready to be seated, and long wait times to get drinks. Our room was spacious, but not so clean. We found an old toothbrush and a box of raisins that housekeeping missed when cleaning. Additionally, our bed sheets were torn and frayed, I have no idea how they made it out of the laundry room without being thrown in the trash. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, and I cannot understand why the children's bedroom had no door. It makes the living room unusable after the children go to bed. The amenities were nice, though the waterpark is starting to show its age. A fresh coat of paint would go a long way. The arcade was fun, though a bit overpriced. We also enjoyed family karaoke in the theatre. The staff there did an amazing job with the kids. Overall it was a good experience, and a few small tweaks would have earned it 5 stars.

Except for mediocre breakfast, the property is awesome (but you it s hard to beat buffet at $15 per adult with one child eat for free it s hard to get anywhere else , plus it s conveniently located downstairs)👍👍. Pool area and water park a bit outdated, also we rented a cabana for half a day at $85 plus tax and cabana needs some tlc with a fridge with rust, stained flooring and outdated chairs. Honestly, this property, under great management, could be amazing. We will still recommend to friends though. The daily kids activities at the pool are fun. This hotel is not expensive for Orlando style vacationing and it’s conveniently located nearby all the theme parks. Staff was great, very professional and helpful.

Pros:
Very fun hotel for kids and a TON of activities. Rooms were very cool and recently updated. Location was also a plus. Lots of snack places, good selection of restaurants and bars. Pretty wildlife and rest areas. Loved that there was an overhead fan in main sleeping room. Also enjoyed how dark it got with blackout curtains.
Cons:
Big lagoon needed touch-up (paint).
So many people in big pool and trash (including beer cans) left next to pool where kids were playing. No one was cleaning up trash. (weather was windy) Kiddie area had plastic tops to soda cups laying on ground. One of the workers taking lounge chairs from kiddie pool would leave from one side and leave gates open and then go to the other side to pool and take another chair out and leave another gate to kiddie pool open. It was a little irritating as kiddie pool was next to big pool.

Awesome place to stay with kids. Water park is neat. Rooms are nice. I would describe it like staying in a huge apartment complex with an outdoor water park in the center. We stayed there on a Disney trip and almost didn't have time to visit the water park but my son had a blast when we did make it. I would definitely stay again as long as my son is with me. More exciting for the kids. Also has a small mall on grounds with a movie theatre but we only did the mall in the morning for coffee and breakfast

The room was clean and nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It had a fridge and microwave that were very convenient when you travel with young children. Bathroom was also clean and there were enough towels for us to use.
The water park is huge and fun, I mean, mostly for the kids. They show movies every night at the pool. There's a place right in the middle of the resort where they have a little market, a restaurant, and small coffee and sandwich shops. There's also, 4D movies, karaoke, an arcade, and laser tag. If you choose to stay one day, as in not go to the parks one day, you'll have fun in the resort.

Great hotel. The amenities are wonderful. My kids loved the waterpark. There were lots of lifeguards on duty actively watching out for the kids no matter how many there were which made me feel safer. I actually saw them pull a child out of the water that was in distress. In addition it is right next to all of the Disney parks so it was convenient as well.

Had a great time at this hotel. Myself, my girlfriend and our kids. While we didn't get to experience all the amenities and perks (this was the former Nickelodeon hotel), I found the sleeping arrangements with the separate room for the kids (bunk beds and all) a great deal! The staff was spectacular. I had a minor complaint about a housekeeping issue and it was quickly resolved. The location was ideal, as it was close to nearly every popular attraction you could think of. The king size bed was immaculate to sleep in. A divine experience that must be experienced. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for 3 days this past week. It's hands down the best, off site, hotel for the money. Everything was super clean, easily accessible, and close to all major parks. The staff were fantastic, and the pool was perfect for my son. My only complaint is the fridge never really got cold. I'd give 6 stars, but I guess 5 will do. Can't wait to book our next stay. See you in a month!!

We love this as a little Family Getaway. We love playing in the water slides all day and then just going to our room for the evening. They have a little convenience store. Three or four different places within the hotel to eat from. A Starbucks for those of you like my husband and I who crave Starbucks on a daily basis! A cute little shop with bathing suits and pull a tire in case you forgot something. The rooms are always well-maintained. And we love that there's always lifeguards on duty. We love their bars by the pool they make it very convenient for the parents to enjoy their time will keeping their children well occupied and happy. Great bang for your buck!

This resort is absolutely beautiful! Coming from Indiana, Florida offers a shelter from colder temperatures, and this resort is a wonderful place to do it at. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, and the first thing that struck me was modern interior design. The staff has all been very friendly and personable. The water has been warm, and the fellow guests have been great company! There are plenty of food options available on site, along with a gym and laundry center. It's in a good location for other common vacation spots in the area. Room service comes in and makes the beds, along with replenishing all the amenities.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the 2 bedroom suite was laid out. It really gave my family of 5 a good amount of space. Generous storage in all the rooms. Our room was next to the pool and it was actually very quiet. Would highly recommend if you want to be close to Disney parks, but don't want to pay for a Disney hotel. It was 5 minutes to Epcot and around 10 to Magic Kingdom.

Just returned after spending 2 weeks. Staff-excellent, pools-excellent, short drive to Epcot. Room-clean, comfortable beds. Great place for kids, many activities. Most impressive was the friendly, helpful staff from front desk, house keeping and manager. Much better pools and rooms than the Disney Value resorts.

I was really impressed by the recent remodel of this hotel. The pool area is heated and so much fun for kids and adults. The marketplace is a great place to grab some food or drinks while the kids play. Rooms were clean and large enough for our whole family. Only complaint is the resort and parking fees and the fact that the shuttle to the parks has such limited times.

I stayed here twice. When it was the actual Nick Hotel with the Characters. The outside was amazing, the pools, the smile, the contest, by the pool, the bar. It was fantastic. the 1st time in 2011 was great. Took my daughter 5 years later in 2016, everything was great. BUT, the 2nd time around we had roaches in the room. that was my only issues.

we had to change rooms in the middle of the night. It was horrible, no discount no nothing. Now I see that Another company took over. Seems like all they did was paint, dump the characters which was horrible and now the hotel is still horrible. Should of left it as the Nick Hotel and Resort. So sad with all the remodel and crazy fees people still complain. Horrible management and owners. I'd like to comeback for a 3rd time but without the Characters its just another hotel

So much fun! Great pool, great atmosphere, super close to all Disney theme parks and Disney Springs. We stayed in suite with two bedroom and it was so nice! Laminate floors in the living room and carpets in the two bedrooms. Nice little kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge bathroom is good size open layout in the living room. Three TVs. A table to eat at. We were also able to see the fireworks that were going off at Disney! Overall great stay great staff.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very pleasant, hard working and attentive, asking if we needed anything to improve our stay. I prefer softer pillows and they delivered them promptly. Stayed in a two bedroom and I got the bunk room, which I preferred. The lower bed was just as good as the main bedroom. We came for a business conference but will definitely bring the kids. The water park in the middle is very large and clearly a ton of fun. We were there off season (January) and it wasn't too crowded. It's not a high end hotel but they exceeded my expectations. A great value for what you get.

My largest complaint is with hidden fees and the customer service when trying to find out information on said hidden fees. I booked this room via my Credit card reward points, I was advised of a $25 resort fee at the time I booked. My husband checked us in and was bombarded with all the information thrown at him and told to sign a sign in card. He was not told about tax being added to the resort fee or that they charge extra for parking of over $10 per night. Be aware going in to ask about everything they will charge you for because they don't explain it and I had to talk to 5 people before I could get a copy of where we were notified. Other than that the resort is clean and if it wasn't 36 degrees outside I'm sure the resort extras you pay $25 with tax for would be fun....they charge whether you can use them or not...... Sincerely, Disappointed

We stayed at this Resort just for a single night. We requested an early check-in which they were happy to accommodate. When we arrived at the room 1 hour earlier than standard check in the room was not ready. Had to put the luggage back in the vehicle give them a call and then come back. A little sleep deprived from our Trek to the hotel. We were a little disappointed to be awakened by a fire drill at 9:45 p.m.. The rooms were very nice but the floors were not clean as well as some of the Linens with spots. The staff was exceptionally courteous and offered an apology for the cleanliness. All in all the sweets were very nice with a separated bedroom small kitchenette and living room with hide-a-bed layout. The water park was more geared toward smaller children probably under the age of 12 or so.

This was my parents 2nd time here but my first time here with my daughter. The Staff was excellent. Our room was spotless, fully stocked and had a cool surfing design to it. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our room and the pools. If it wasn't for all the resort fees and having to pay to park I would have rated 5 stars. My son loved the bunk bed and the bean bag the resort provided. Small living room with couch and tv, bathroom and 2 rooms. One of my favorite places we have stayed other than all the fees. Like that there is doors that lead right out to your vehicle instead of having to go up elevators and having rooms inside the building.

This was my family's first time doing something this big and the staff here was very friendly and helpful. I love how they have free shuttles to the Disney parks. And it was cheaper than just going to a weekend beach trip. The only thing I would change is the shuttle drop offs and pick ups. Because the shuttle only picks you up at one of the parks we never got to and park before 10 and nf had to leave and found a little after 7 just to make sure we didn't miss the bus.

I'm not sure why others have complained on the reviews I've read. We got a 2 bed suite and it was immaculate, we rented a cabana by the pool with great service, we weren't even planning to get a cabana but they gave us a great deal on it... Tiffany was incredible at taking care of the whole family, she is the type of employee this resort should be proud to have representing them, the entire staff so far has been super friendly, and very attentive. The only thing is that the pool area could be open later. Very Happy so far!

This is a decent place to stay, but set realistic expectations. This is a value resort, but I think you get a pretty good place to stay for the value. We stayed in a 1br w/kitchen in late Sept for 1 week with 2 adults and 1 7 yr. old. We also had to switch rooms once which I'll get to later.

PLAY POOL AREA: For us it was awesome. Little to no crowd, lifeguards were nice. Pool was clean and it was heated. The water slide area may have been heated some but definitely not as much as the main pool area. Chairs also had several shaded spots. The soft basketball court inside the pool area was good but rims were bent because guest would not stop dunking even though there were signs prohibiting. The pool area was clean, but most chairs were faded yellow, so the new yellow chairs stood out.

OASIS POOL: Some have called this the adult pool which is incorrect. There are limited adult-only hours, but kids are permitted in this pool for most of the day.

ACCESS TO HOTEL AND TRANSPORTATION: This place is 15 minutes from Disney parking lots. Easy in and out once you figure out that you need to use the main gate near the lobby for entry, but there are several gates you can use to exit. The hotel schedules transportation to Disney, but just to Epcot, so you would have to take a Disney bus from Epcot to Magic Kingdom or Hollywood which would add time.

NOISE LEVEL IN ROOMS: Our rooms were both on the highway side, but quiet with no issues sleeping. As for noise from other guest rooms, kids are loud and obnoxious and have no volume control, but if you are staying at this hotel, you should probably expect that and not be annoyed by it. For us, noise from other rooms was very limited. It wasn't like we heard every single footstep. Frig in 4 building room had a super loud rattle that was pretty annoying. Woke me up a few times.

FOOD COURT AND ARCADE: Pretty nice. Pizza and Subway prices were fine. Plenty of seating. We purchased a $20 arcade card on the last day, spent 2 hrs playing games. Good time.

ROOM QUALITY AND ANTS: Room was mostly clean, but floors were dirty...wear slippers. We used Lysol wipes upon arrival, but no major filth. Frig and microwave were also very clean. Our first room was in 13, and the second room was in 4. The issue we had with 13 was ants in the kitchen. Day 1 we thought it was because housekeeping had not run the dishwasher, so we arrived to dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but then after the 3rd day the ant issue was clearly out of control in the kitchen. Pretty much every morning we woke up and had to kill 50-100 ants on the kitchen counter. We even tried taking the trash out each night before bed and putting open food in the microwave but the ants still found something...like the cereal box which didn't fit. These are super tiny ants, not the big ones. The 4 building had no ant issues at all.

KITCHEN UTENSILS: This was not a great situation. 13 room had plenty, 4 room had little (like only 1 fork). Rooms were a mismatch of pots and pans, so this would be an issue if you hope to plan full meals.

Anyway, not a perfect place but definitely worth it for the money. They seem to be working to improve, so I would give them a try again.

After seeing the reviews I was a little worried but me and my family had an amazing time!!!! The staff was always super friendly and the rooms were great for what you pay. We truly loved it. Thank you to the wonderful staff that take the extra mile for guests. Would definitely come back.

I saw some negative reviews so I was leery but we had a great time. The rooms were clean and perfect for a family vacation. Beds were comfortable and I was happy there was a tv in every room. Great for the price! Restaurant was yummy also! The tub could be updated but it did the job.

We just came back and we were exceptionally happy with the hotel. We had read some not so good reviews and so I was looking for the worst. Not so! From check in, to check out, the staff were helpful and friendly. There was plenty to do for the kids. There were activities by the staff at the pool. The water slide was awesome for all ages! The rooms were clean, with plenty of room to move about. We didn't have a chance to go the restaurant, maybe next time. I definitely will go back and I would recommend it to others.

My experience at this resort was amazing. My room was so spacious and clean. The pool and water park was great my kids never wanted to go back to the room. Lakeside Cafes food was amazing breakfast and dinner very nice to my kids very welcoming and Gabriel was an awesome and informative server. I'm going to recommend this place to everyone I know!! Great job!!

Wow, this resort is awesome! There's never a dual moment with fun filled entertainment from pool side dinning, water park, 4-D theater experience, Laser challenge, family rivals games, yoga, live music, the big wave, karaoke and so much more.. This has been the best stay with so many attraction until there's no need to leave the property! I would recommend this resort due to it's friendly staff, family oriented and it's location..

We enjoyed our stay but there were certain things that I thought were insane. Namely that the bathrooms did not have exhaust fans...do you know how humid our room was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 96.7%

Also, the "ADULTS ONLY" pool....what a waste. I understand the value in being able for all 3 adults per day that we saw using the pool to enjoy some peace and quiet but it's a family resort in a family town. Sure, the water park portion provided ample opportunity for kids to run wild but when the other off limits pool was 777' closer.....

Didn't like showing up to a room with only 2 sets of towels when 5 of us were booked for the week. Took several hours most times when we needed something.

For us personally....we figured out quickly that staying at a place with a sweet continental breakfast would have been far more valuable than a splash park we used a couple of times!

*** OH!!! Almost forgot, the floors (in our room) were ABSOLUTELY abysmal! They looked clean but brother, they turned my socks black...that is not an exaggeration in the least bit.

This is our first time staying here and it has been amazing. We have 3 children from 13 to 1 and there has been activities to entertain them all. Truly a great place to spend time with the family away from home. We ate at lakeside cafe. Children had an option of eating free off the menu or for a small up charge eat from the buffet as well. The food was really good. Compliments to chef Chris! The service was even better, Make sure to ask for Gabriel. He was was very kind and attentive.

We came for a quick two night getaway with our children. The hotel room is great and accommodates all five of us comfortably. The pool and slides are great and we enjoyed our time at both. The location provides quick access to multiple off site attractions and shopping. The in house restaurant "Lakeside cafe" is a great place to eat and enjoy. Ask for for John-Paul, Carlos, or Gabriel; they will ensure a great time!

First time trying the buffet... Even though choices were limited, the options available were good, presented well, and flavorful. The desert was the best! Cheesecake was great and the fruit was fresh and sweet. Casey was our server and had a great personality, cleaned used plates and refilled drinks regularly. BTW, kids ate free!

The rooms were very clean, staff was very nice and helpful. Had some trouble at the beginning with the card now working for our door but they were very helpful and credited our room for activities/ food. The pools were amazing, 4 d theater was awesome, they even had family games that were a lot of fun. The food court was really nice, we could just stay here instead of driving into busy orlando, and kids eat free which was really nice! Love this place will definitely stay again😉

Just checked in and in the first few hours we have had such an amazing experience! From check in with Luis at the front desk to amazing service at Lakeside Cafe. The hostess Kaitlynn was very nice and asked if we had any allergies before seating us and immediately went to the chef to have him prepare something special for us. Chef Jose was super accommodating and made us a wonderful veggie dish. He even made a special salad dressing. Casey, our server was very attentive and friendly. She was a fantastic server! Gabriel and Denise came by and said hello to us at our table too even though they weren't our servers. I am overly impressed with the staff and can't wait to see how the rest of the stay goes! So far we are feeling like celebrities.

I'm in LOVE!! The rooms are cozy and really cute as well as clean and well stocked. The staff have been nothing but helpful, friendly and just plain awesome!! The water park is also a blast! The shows were funny and definitely entertaining and everyone involved seemed to really enjoy their job and engaging the audience as much as possible. The slides were pretty dope too lol the lifeguard named Alexander in the slides was awesome with the kids also

Great mini vacation for the family. There really is no need to leave the hotel grounds. Kids 12 and under eat breakfast and dinner for free. During those two meals, you probably would be too busy at the awesome pool/ water park area to notice lunch. But if you do you can order something at the grill right there at the pool. This was an fantastic get away!

The rooms were pretty and very nice. The staff was lovely.

The pool was nice and the hot tub was amazing. The arcade was awesome.

The only major complaint is that the bar in the adult pool area isn't open except for on the weekends, people on a weekday stay don't have much to do in the big adult pool area.

Plus the pool card towel thing proved useless, since there was no one to give them too just a big orange bin full of clean folded towels.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was myself, husband and 4 year old son. My son enjoyed the water park too. Everyone on the staff was really nice. We even had a package delivered during our stay, and they brought it up to our room. We went to two of the Disney parks while we were down in FL, and the hotel is so close to the parks. We were there within 10 minutes of leaving the hotel. The restaurant downstairs had pretty good breakfast...much better than your standard continental breakfast. Although, you do have to pay for it, it's not free. BUT, kids 12 & under do eat free if they eat off of the kids menus. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family, and will be back again for our next Disney trip.

I highly recommend finding other accommodations! After checking in, it took my kids and I from 8pm-10pm (with multiple calls to the front desk and a personal visit) just to get toilet paper in out room. We also notified them that we did not have soap, shower curtain or towels in our room either ( though we did not receive a shower curtain or towels in out room until 9:30 the next morning. When my daughter went to the pool and asked for towels) Upon speaking to the manager, we were only credit 30.00 (resort fee) which still left us with almost a 200.00 bill. Was much better when it was the Nickelodeon hotel.

Great Hotel! Much less expensive since Holiday Inn bought it from Nickelodeon. The pool is nice and warm. The water slides are a blast. They provide interactive activities for children at the pool. For example, trivia games, movie nights, dance competitions, pool parties at night, etc. For those who travel without children, there is an adult pool called the Oasis. The rooms are nice and spacious. They provide free shuttle service to/from Universal Studios. This will definitely be our go-to Hotel when we come back to Orlando

Location is great if you are wanting to visit Disney or Universal. Rooms are great, we got 2 bedroom suite and it came with a King bed and 2 bunk beds. Living room has a big sofa as well. Room was equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave. The marketplace area in the middle or the resort has everything you need buy if you want to have a snack or small easy meal, the fridge and microwave makes it easy. I only went to adult only pool area so I don't know what it's like on the other side but the adult pool was quiet and peaceful. Has a pool and a hot tub. Will return here if I am in Orlando again.

We had a great trip. I had read reviews prior to arriving and became nervous about the hotel. My experience was amazing. Check in was fast and courteous. The rooms were very nice and the layout is great if you have children. The waterpark and amenities are great as well. Well worth the money and I'm already looking forward to booking here again!

We have been here every march for many years. The desk is horrible, you call they do not answer or just say sending right up and never do. Housekeeping awful. Checked in, bathroom filthy in one of our two bathrooms, long dark hair everywhere. We had the exact same room as last year and paid significantly more. First time since going their a noticeable decrease in patronage. Price for 3 bedrooms well above any Disney hotel. We go here for our special needs son. If he didn't enjoy the water park so much, I would never go back. We spent a lot of money for each vacation and every year more disappointing

Stayed here for a week and had a great experience. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. When we 1st got there they stuck us in a handicap accessible room and we didn't like the setup of the bath but they switched us to a poolside room the next day. The bell hop even came to get our luggage for us to take to the next room. The only issue I found, and it was probably because it was spring break, was towels were hard to come by for a couple days. But it got better. Rooms were clean and there were 3 TVs in the suite. My favorite thing was the bed. It was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. So much so that I want to order the bed I had! Sheets were so soft! I'm trying to find the bed we had now. Was a great experience for a week. Not sure if it's the norm but music was played loud at the pool area until late in evening. Didn't really like that as much. Ok with some music and they had games and events for kids and people to watch while in the pool area which was fun but music was too loud at times. I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms and hotel as a whole was beautiful. Location is fantastic but overall experience sucked. To say you have to pay for parking, you have to park like 10 miles away from your hotel room. The parking lot was ALWAYS full. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear people conversation in the room adjacent to you and outside. I would stay here again ONLY for the location and not everything else. I won't book here in the future unless it's the last option.

One night stay, used a free night certificate for a 2 bedroom queen suite. Pools were great, the adult pool was quiet while the lagoon pool was slammed as can be expected on a Friday night. I found it hard to reach housekeeping, the phone had no indication of what to dial. Dialing 0 rang and no one answered, tried a couple times and finally someone did. Breakfast buffet was good enough for $15. There was a lot of noise from surrounding rooms, so can't say I'd recommended for light sleepers, definitely seems geared towards younger kids.

My boys 5&6 loved this place. They could not sleep they were so excited when we got here. Plenty of room to Breath in the standard with bunk beds. A tv in every room. Request a room facing water park makes it more exciting. I could not be happier and staff was amazing from the get. And there is a ARCADE and with holiday inn reward program there is a benefit if you need just a little more time. Great spot.

Only down is.. Rate was quoted 136 then by check out parking and resort brought one night to 200$ just wanted a good honest review for those that take the time to read these. Thanks. Family of four happy campers!

The staff was amazing, the food was better than average, but it was just old and out dated. It seemed like they tried to give the rooms a face lift, but it didn't help with the paper thin walls, extremely slow elevator, and bath tub that didn't drain while taking a shower. You will also find more of the "trashy acting" clientele at this place. You could hear them being way too loud through the hallways until way too late at night. I felt like the windows in the room were open, even though they weren't. The kids loved the bunk beds in the room, though. Unfortunately the satellite TV signal kept going out, and it was a clear night sky:(
They seemed short staffed and overworked too. I'd hate to see their busy season. I would recommend this place if you are on a budget.

The renovated rooms are pretty nice. Two bedrooms are great for families. However, we stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping only came twice. My son spilled crumbs on the rug, and I picked up the rug to shake out the crumbs, and the rug fell into pieces! It wasn't a rug at all, but 8 strips of carpet taped together! It was a great metaphor for the entire stay....on the surface, it looks nice, but the devil is in the details.

We checked in at 4:30pm, and there were no rooms ready, so they sent us to the pool, where there were no towels available. After two hours, we were frozen and hadn't received a call that the room was ready. I had to go back to the desk to get a room assigned and asked to have our bags brought up. The bellman brought the bags up, but didn't leave them because we weren't in the room, so he took them back down to the lobby.

The service was slow in all aspects, like they are just consistently understaffed.

My kids loved the pool and especially the arcade. First services were great, as long as you avoid the timeshare salespeople. Having the restaurants and pizza onsite were a real plus. For the price, it really couldn't be beat. My kids thought it was heaven.

Overall nice place. Rooms have been updated recently, but need a few screws tightened (toilet seat, door handles, etc.). A lot to do for kids, but be aware that there's a strict 40 in minimum height to ride the water slides. Our daughter was just under and she was really bummed. Free shuttle to Disney is nice, and the 4G Theater is a neat thing to have too, but can be a bit much for toddlers.

Still staying here at the moment. This is a nice place. Located centrally in Orlando, close to major roads. Water park is pretty nice, comparable to Great Wolf Lodge, without the insane water slides, though. Great for my one year old. Not crazy about being asked to look at timeshare opportunities more than once, but I get it. Wish there were an easier way to get in at night, rather than holding my arm out the car window showing my wristband. Seems like they could make it so your room key activates the gate. Every person I have interacted with has been very pleasant. Room is pretty nice, set up to hold a large family, for sure, with two bedrooms, one having bunk beds, and a pull out sofa also. Was fortunate enough to get a room that faces the water park. Plenty of TVs to watch, as well. Bathroom is average to above average. Small kitchen sink with a Keurig brewer and microwave were nice touches. Noticed some ants around my kitchen sink, and told guest services, but since he was trying to sell the timeshare opportunities, I'm not sure they will be taken care of tomorrow morning. Overall, a nice place to stay

This is a great place for families with young children, not the best choice for business travel. Extremely friendly, courteous and helpful staff. The room during my stay was clean and spacious. The only complaint is that there is no complimentary breakfast, continental or otherwise, for business travellers. They do offer a $15 breakfast in their restaurant, and there may be free breakfast for families staying at full rate. I only booked this hotel because all other Holiday Inns in the area were full, and then I anticipated what perks I might enjoy by staying at a "resort" hotel. I was disappointed to find out that there would be nothing for my travel needs to match what I would find at a regular Holiday Inn Express.

Great for families with young kids, but not for teens because the second bedroom does not have a door. The pool area is great for children and there's hot tub for the adults, but it only stays open until 9:00. By the time you return from the park, it is closed. The rooms could be cleaner. The bathroom tile needs a good scrubbing. The elevator needs to be refurbished, it is very dirty. Also, breakfast closes by 10:30, so those with teens may miss breakfast

Absolutely amazing place. For the price it is best because the kids have a bedroom with bunk beds and a parents can have a bedroom privately with the door closed. There is no property hotel in Orlando that has that set up. It doesn't exist at that price. I would recommend to have one day just to spend time at this Resort. The water parks the arcade, Batman laser the kids will love it. For the Batman laser and movies I would suggest to buy the unlimited pass because the kids will continue to want to try and see all the movies and play the laser game.

Check in was very slow and there were some fees I didn't know about (paying for parking, resort fees). The manager was nice and refunded the parking for my second car. I checked into this hotel at 4am after a horrible experience at Red Lion Hotel (see review). They were very accommodating and the people at the front desk are so nice. They gave me a room on the first floor close to the parking lot so I wouldn't have to walk too much with my sleeping toddler in my arms. The suite was clean and comfortable. With fees our night's stay cost me $150. When I asked to stay another night they said that I didn't have to pay another night because I checked in at 4am. My experience at this resort turned my night around for the better and I'm very happy about going there. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Orlando.

My family stayed in the King Suite for my son's 10th birthday. This suite had one bedroom, a separate living area, and a full kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay (June 28th - July 13th). The resort fee made the price of our reservation skyrocket, but there was always something to do. My little nephew really enjoyed the pool area. It was so lively and there was almost always music or games being played poolside that just made the atmosphere so grand that we didn't like leaving the hotel to go to the parks. My son really enjoyed the nightly game show and karaoke. Him and I even got to participate in game show and ended up winning a very nice prize (similar to the unlimited package that the hotel advertise: free unlimited soda souvenir cups, pool toys, arcade game card, movie night snacks, a nice big tote, etc.)

The downside of this hotel is definitely house keeping and guest services. We were there for 16 nights, but the house keepers didn't really clean our rooms well. And they came when they wanted to come, sometimes at night. They did not change our sheets. Our sheets were changed only twice, and one of the times was because there was an accident so we literally waited all day for house keeping and when they arrived we took everything off the bed and watched them make the beds.

If we ran low on something we had to call guest services and wait more than an hour for them to bring us whatever we needed. We ran out of coffee often, because they were kinda stingy with the amount of kcups that they gave out. We found ourselves always calling to the front desk for coffee and waiting hours to receive it. But I guest we could've just bought our own kcups, because they were super tight when it came to rationing off the coffee. Even if we requested more than two kcups they would go as far as to give us 3 but nothing more.

The pizza that we ordered our first night for room service was expensive and nasty. As strange as it sound, the pizza was overcooked on the bottom and undercooked on the top. I have paid for expensive pizza before in my normal life, so I wasnt tripping on how much it costed. But at least when I buy pricey pizza it has the nerves to be delicious.

The shuttle service is pretty scarce, this hotel caters more to Disney World, but most of the trips that were made were usually to Universal Orlando. Yet they don't have many pick up and drop off times to the parks like Universal and Seas World. They could also make the 4D movies longer.

Despite the poor housekeeping and bad room service we really did enjoy this hotel. It was always something to do. The atmosphere was so hype and colourful. I felt like a kid, really. Other than the pizza, the food is really good and expensive (They have a Cod sandwich that made me want to smack my mama). But we had a kitchen so we at most of our meals inside of our room. The mall area is super neat, and comes alive at night. It's just a really fun place to congregate, play, or catch a game show. We will be back to spend our entire Christmas and New Years Break there.

Hotel was very clean rooms were spacious and very nicely remodeled. Perfect family atmosphere something to do for every member of the family. Food and drinks are a little pricey but not too bad. Outside snacks and beverages are allowed in the pool area which made it much more affordable for our family. Ive read some negative reviews but this place exceeded our expectations we are definitely coming back on a regular basis. Reason i only rated it a 3 stars is because half the resort is still closed down including second pool and also the check in process is very slow... we had a problem with our hot water and were given a nice discount and were moved to another room. Friendly and very helpful staff. We will be back next month. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Was here on 8/23/16. Here is a real review! Our remodeled room is on 1st floor. Make sure you get a remodeled room if you stay, also ask for 1st floor if possible near water park especially if you have kids. Our room is very nice. Maids do a great job cleaning, very clean was our experence. Not dirty like others have said. A good ethnicity mix of employees and visitors here. Employees spoke good english. In this down season time we did not have to wait to go on slides at all. Water park/pool makes it so worth it! Slides are fun even for adults, my kids love it. Hot tubs are hot, half size basketball court is cool.
Reasons why I did not give it 5 stars. Refresment /mixed drink bar is expensive, no free breakfast/snacks, movies at night time near pool area are on a terrible projection and the wifi sucks in my opinion. Bottom line it is a perfect place to stay if 1. You have kids. 2 if you bring your own drinks/food. 3. If you want a fun place to relax after disney, sea world, bush gardens etc...

Looks great from the outside but our room had a lot of small things. The shower curtain won't stay shut, the slide lock literally fell off the door, and the WiFi won't connect properly (the WiFi problem alone as cost me two damn days of my vacation). I'm here at this resort for a few more days, will update my review when I leave.

Pro: water slides
Family activities
Two pools
Decent price

Cons: wifi won't work properly
Door lock feel off
Slides are nice but on the second floor it's very loud

Just visited there last week. It used to be Nickelodeon but Holiday Inn did a great job renovating the rooms .We had a 3 bedroom and loved it. Lots to do at the resort. Staff is amazing and very welcoming . We stayed for a week and did not want to leave. Last wrath and movies onsite was great for the family. The only thing is it's a little pricey and the parking and resort fee every night is the only thing we didn't agree on,but overall great experience. Will definitely come back again.

Kids had a great time.
I found the rooms sub standard. The safe in the room didn't work.
The gym that you pay for in your resort fee was terrible. Only one machine worked & it was so worn out..
The check in staff unhelpful & not overly friendly. The life guards at the pool were fantastic

I would rate higher, but the condition of the furniture was disgusting. There's too much money coming through this place to have dirty, worn out furniture. This is our second time here and it's the same old nasty furniture. SMH. Thank God my kids don't know enough to care.

Edit: Well, a call to the office just said that all of the rooms are the same and they are going through renovations. Doesn't seem right when we're paying resort prices. YOU GOT LUCKY IF YOU GOT A NICE ROOM.

The room was disgusting, basically falling apart and dirty. It smelled horrible, the cleaning crew skipped coming to the room on the Friday and won't change your sheets unless you ask. The curtains looked gray rather than white. I took pictures but didn't share them, it was just that bad. The pool area was nice, though it could use slight maintenance. The mall area was also nice and the only thing that prevented me from giving a one star review. On a side note, there were signs posted that the hotel will be undergoing renovations, however based on my experience, I'd be afraid to check them out again.
