Stayed at the Kimpton Nine Zero as an overnight guest after arriving in Boston for a travel lay over (took a cab from South station which took approx. 10 min @12:30am). I found the hotel staff to be very courteous & nice. Loved the decour of the hotel & room, it had a very 70's leather/wood feel (loved the black leather chair in the room!) with plad accents in the hallways/elevator bank. The shower setup in the bathroom was a bit slippery, I felt as if I was on a pedestal. Though the bathroom size & fixtures are very nice. The only thing this room didn't have was a view, but I don't typically pick a hotel room based on the view. Overall I'm happy with my stay & will be staying here again next time I'm in Boston.

We booked Kimpton because we heard they were dog friendly and they certainly didn't let us down! Location is great (right off Boston Common) and that staff are all friendly and courteous. We'll definitely be coming back soon.

Large rooms, friendly staff and a small gift shop for last minute grabs make this hotel an excellent choice. Rooms have what you need but if you forgot anything there is a large list of items the front desk will provide. The room was clean and comfortable with ample space to spread out and relax. The shampoo they carried was a bit harsh though so definitely bring your own.

Arrived a few days ago and had a truly memorable stay, these guys and gals have absolutely nailed hospitality, (especially Court who handled our check in), right down to wine hour at 5 every day. The rooms are really comfortable and the aircon just whispers. The restaurant is in the middle of a refurb but there are plenty of great local options. Location next to Boston Commons is perfect for exploring the city on foot and it's at the start of the Freedom Trail. I'm looking forward to the chance of a romantic return trip for two in at some point in the future.

My only regret is I didn't book more of my time in Boston here. Central location, excellent room, and overall excellent staff and experience. There are many well thought of amenities included that other hotels fall short of. Breakfast, evening wine, yoga mat, etc. If you are traveling through Boston this is a great home base.

I love Kimpton. We try to stay at Kimptons whenever we travel. Each hotel is unique and trendy. Nine Zero is no different. It is in the heart of the city and walking distance from everything. The room was large and the bed and pillows comfy. Parking is nonexistent, but this is Boston.

Cute hotel! Room sizes vary but are generally OK. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Amazing views from our corner room. Service is good but not consistent and could be polished. Big minuses are: no make up mirrors, no slippers and no complimentary bottles of water. Best feature: Location location location!

Nice hotel in a very desirable area. No coffee pot in room, but available in lobby. Very nice staff also. Waiting to be seated for continental breakfast just didn't seem to make sense to me when numerous seats were open. Long wait before acknowledged

9

Great decor, incredible location. Court and the rest of the front desk staff are very attentive and informed. Feels like a good mix between boutique and traditional hotel. Wine hour and pretty good continental plus breakfast in the lounge, and a conveniently-located Tesla & EV charger on the side. Booking folks are very helpful, and the room interiors have well-chosen art and furniture. If you get too drunk at the bar, you can go across the street and blame Samuel Adams' grave.

Kimpton hotels are truly my favorite. My stay at Nine Zero was great as always. We enjoyed the complimentary wine hour and the concierge was very helpful with providing recommendations on where to eat and how to get around. Our room was lovely, the decor throughout the hotel was trendy and the service was good too. The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk around and enjoy our short time in Boston. Late after dinner we decided to head down to Highball Lounge (which the hotel has direct access to) for a cocktail. As soon as the elevator doors opened we could hear the music going and were greeted by a bouncer. The place was packed and turned out to be a great time. The DJ played good music and the bartenders and scene were a lot of fun. It was a nice surprise that this place was an elevator ride from our room and at the end of the night we were back in our room in 2 minutes. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Boston!

Nice modern hotel. Great location and staff were very accommodating. I didn't actually stay here but visited friends who were on multiple occasions and the staff never seemed to have a problem with us waiting in the lobby or using their facilities.

We were treated with a thoughtful birthday card, cupcakes, chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle of champagne when we arrived! They had placed in a room with a queen bed when we booked a king bed and changed our room the next day with a beautiful view of the Boston Common and it's festive Christmas lights. The staff were fabulous, and that says it all. We go back the same wkend in December to celebrate our birthdays and wedding anniversary and love it, it's a wonderful time for us!

This stay was one of my favorites. Customer service is superb and attentive. I called before our arrival, and informed them that we were staying at the Kimpton for my boyfriend’s birthday. There was a bottle of champagne and cupcakes waiting for us in our room, with a personalized note from the hotel staff wishing him a happy birthday. Besides the hotel having some elevator issues, our stay was fantastic. I usually like to check out different hotels whenever I travel, but I will definitely be going back to Kimpton Nine Zero. Thanks to all the staff that were incredibly nice and that made us feel welcomed!

My mom and I stayed here Sunday through Tuesday and had an amazing time thanks to the incredible staff members! Thank you all for being the NICEST most accommodating staff - special shout outs to Gabby, Andrew (Concierge), Wendy (Restaurant & Banquet Manager), Ana and the super kind male server at breakfast whose name I didn't catch! We already knew the Kimpton vibe is top notch but the customer appreciation treatment was above and beyond outstanding, we really appreciated the extra effort during the current renovations. I cannot recommend Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel and all of the Kimpton properties enough :)

We stayed here on our recent trip to Boston and loved the stay. They were going through renovations, but I cannot wait to see what it looks like after. Typical Pompton, which is a great thing! Great service, clean rooms and high end decor and service. Would definitely recommend, especially the location to downtown Boston.

We had a great time. The staff was extremely friendly, especially Ben! Wine and sodas (for the kids) on arrival. We had two rooms for our seven people--both were gorgeous. I wish all the minibars had locked, but they comped us some M&Ms when my young daughter thought they were free!

Loved it! We went for a night for my wife’s bday. The staff is super helpful. Shout out to my man in guest services, Andrew, who went above and beyond. The lounge was also a good time, pricey drinks, but a good atmosphere. I would go back for sure.

Oh my gosh. If you are going to stay in Boston, definitely do not hesitate to stay here. Very convenient location, AMAZING room, wonderful staff, great value. I cannot say anything negative or unpleasant about my stay there. Thank you for the restful nights (the bed was super comfortable) when I was there for work. If I am back again, I will definitely book this hotel again for sure!!!

We had fantastic stay at the Kimpton. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Andrew the Concierge was so helpful and provided us with ideas on where to go. Comp wine between 5-6pm in the lobby helped to kick start the evening out. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Boston.

Modern boutique feel. Large rooms. Wine in the lobby at happy hour. Friendly staff. Kimpton members get a credit for the mini bar. Upstairs is a popular bar/lounge. Also in a great location. What's not to like?

Room was on the small side but was a great price. They also offer bigger rooms but I had a roll away bed inside so it felt small. Location is good. Restaurants in the area. Across from a park. But the most important thing is they are DOG FREINDLY!!!

Second time visiting this hotel. Location is great, Front Desk staff is awesome and helpful. The room I got on my visit was spacious and settling. The only gripe I had was that I had to call the Front Desk for a bar of soap. Also, there was leftover plastic tape on the carpet, that I was able to get rid of by pulling it out in 1 shot. Other than that, great place to stay when visiting Boston.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was very courteous, the public areas are well-kept, and the room was clean and spacious (by major city standards). Location-wise, it's great for downtown sightseeing as well as having easy access (via the subway or a ~.75mi walk) to TD Garden. Highly recommended.

Loved it! Great view from the 14th floor. Very central, you can follow the freedom trail on the opposite side down to the harbor. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very clean. It is a bit pricey, but still within the normal range for Boston, i guess

Great location for a short stay in Boston! Very close to the T and only a short ride to the airport. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are a bit small if you're traveling with children (which we were). Best was very comfy. Free iced coffee in the morning was amazing!

Unless you have dogs it's not really worth it. Waited a half hour for our bags to be brought up before we finally went downstairs and got them ourselves. Room was not cleaned properly, there was a straw on the floor and obvious hairs on the shower and toilet. I did let the front desk know but nothing was done. Ran out of complimentary water downstairs. It's in a nice location but the service was not good for a luxury hotel. The picture that they'll do in the room is cute and at least the sheets appeared clean.

The Nine Zero is a nice hotel right in the heart of downtown Boston. The room is pleasant, and the decor is more on the "modern" hip side of things. The employees are nice and friendly, and they were eager to address a couple of maintenance issues I had.

We stayed in a suite for one night at the Kimpton Nine Zero and the interior was nice than my own house. Really enjoyed it. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and helpful given we were carting around 3 young kids. Nice happy hour in the lobby on Saturday evening with complementary wine pours. Bar was extremely nice and bumping on Saturday night. Great location right next to Boston Common and on the Freedom Trail. Overnight valet parking was expensive at $49 but we checked another lot around the block and it was only a few bucks cheaper. Would definitely stay here again.

So far my stay has been quite nice. Upon check-in, there was a handwritten card, bottle of wine, and snack tray waiting for me in my room. The room feels slightly smaller than some I've stayed in, but it feels pretty swanky. It's right next to the Boston Commons, which is pretty cool. This is only my second night of my seven night stay, but so far I'm very satisfied.

Nice room. Not much of a view from where our room was on the 13th floor, but that's not a big deal. Strange that they didn't have a coffee maker in the room, call and they give you one. Great location right on the freedom trail.

Our stay was great! The hotel is conveniently located close to landmarks and public transportation. The hotel made our stay personal after we told told them it was our first trip post baby by placing pictures of our family in the room along with chocolate covered strawberries and wine. The rooms were awesome and the view was hard to beat. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Cool hotel with local touches. We enjoyed the hot chocolate on a cold afternoon! We dealt with the expensive parking. We liked the location and the happy hour and money toward the bar bill at the lounge upstairs. Cocktails were almost $20! Coffee was great in the morning and we had an all out good time.

We were delighted with our stay at the Nine Zero. As part of a birthday celebration for my husband, we stayed there because of it's central location, however the amenities, charming room and view of the old graveyard were impressive. If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... We had the pleasure to stay at the Kimpton for a night but we booked it through a third party. When we made our reservation we didn't get any confirmation email and we were a bit worried... The Kimpton staff was simply AMAZING at answering our emails and helping us figure out the situation. We got an upgrade and a beautiful view over the city upon our arrival. The location is as perfect as it can be. Breakfast was not the best but decent for room service food. It def. became our to go hotel for Boston :)

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Nine Zero for a weekend away and had a great experience. They offer different romantic getaway packages. Ours included a bottle of champagne, a free movie, and a bucket of popcorn. They are very creative in thinking of ways to customize a guest's experience. Business travelers can keep it nice and simple and just enjoy a comfortable, clean room. Couples can arrange a more romantic experience. And I am sure they have plenty of other creative ways to provide a pleasant experience for guests. They offer wine-social hours, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the area. The concierge will take care of everything for you - dinner reservations, etc. Our concierge also ensured us that they had an understanding with all the cabbies so that they wouldn't overcharge us by taking "shortcuts." I never even thought about that, but then again, we were from out of town and could have been easily manipulated. In short, this hotel goes above and beyond to make sure their guests are well cared-for. Excellent experience and we'll be sure to stay there again if we find ourselves staying in Boston again.

Why not 5 stars? Because perfection is near impossible, and whilst I couldn't fault the hotel stay, the staff, cleanliness, bed, room or the things that really are important, the only one pet annoyance was 'the business center'... (and the other was the fact the towels in the room are not fluffy and nice, they're a little hard and crisp - fresh yes - just crisp. I like being engulfed in soft fluffy towels after a shower, that's all!)... But back to the business center - two Apple computers that have a printer... With a sign saying 'oops, they're having an extended break, sorry for the inconvenience' or words to that effect. So the front desk printed out my Bruins tickets for me... 4 days later I go to print out my travel tickets, and the computers are 'still on a break'. The night manager says 'sorry, this is an external company who look after them'... To which I asked why this company was still in the running to be their provider as the stuff was still a pile of useless plastic in the corner of the 3rd floor... Tickets printed by night manager down stairs. Other than that little gripe, setting is excellent, right in the thick of it all. Very walkable to a lot of places. An absolute contender if you need a nice hotel in town. Get a room overlooking the cemetery / common if you can.

Nice hotel. I do not think it had the same "vibe" as Kimpton in NY or Phili, but still definitely had a "vibe." I did not find the bed to be super comfortable, but this is personal and the rest of my party had no complaints. The rooms were clean, room service fast, and staff super friendly, helpful and attentive. Especially the valets, all of them were very nice, respectful, and helpful and I felt no hesitation leaving my car with them. Location was great, spitting distance to Boston Commons and can walk pretty much anywhere.

Hotel is located in a central location, with access to multiple Ts and is within walking distance to most tourist attractions. I booked a queen size room through the Kimpton site. Just a casual observation, same rate was available in HT on the same day, it then dropped to $144 around 8 pm, however. Jackie at the front desk was courteous and helpful. The young lady upgraded me to 1602, with a bird's eye view of the park and Cambridge. The two windows made the room felt bright and cheery. Coffee maker available ion request. But there's free coffee in the lobby in the morning. On the other hand, The gym was slightly small. Wine hour in the lobby was a nice touch, but the wines that I tried seem quaffable. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

On the ninth floor it's quiet and the room is clean. It's very comfortable but the speaker started making a loud noise around 3am. It turned off after 10 minutes but the room next door started banging on the wall where the speaker was making noise. Good customer service, extra hot towels and robes are no problem. Free coffee in the lobby is nice, but the fitness room leaves much to be desired. Overall a good experience and a good downtown hotel.

The rooms are very clean and you can get whatever you need (if you forgot something). The staff are very helpful with guiding any tourist needs/activities. They have a nice wine happy hour daily from 5-6pm. Good time to sit and unwind for a few minutes after walking around all day.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still here. You feel it too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past.

It's an okay Hotel. I have stayed at better I have stayed at worst. It would be nice if I had a dog that they are pet friendly however some people seem to let the dogs bark and whine way too much and so becomes intrusive. They also messed up our reservations which was a great inconvenience and we actually ended up leaving after 2 days and switching hotels for the next two because it was so annoying. Are usually have good experience with Kimpton this left a bad taste in my mouth it is not as nice is there one in Philadelphia or New York I will probably not stay here again

We checked in late and there was no valet person at that time. We leave to get drinks and when we came back the car was still at the exact location i parked it and it was unlocked on the street. I tell the front desk that my car is still unlocked and they said don't worry about it. Parking pass says hotel is not responsible for cars lost or stolen or anything taken from them to not be replaceable Regardless, checkout took forever. I was told it would take half hour to call the car from valet. It took way more than that.

First I will say that I take "online reviews" very seriously and in appreciation of many other travelers that do so as well, I am committed to providing transparent reviews about my travelling experiences. When looking for a hotel in the Boston areas for my husband and I, I literally had a headache. I was going from site to site, comparing Zagat, AAA, Trip Advisor, etc. reviews to get a pulse on the best place to stay for our weekend getaway. I even called Liberty Travel to get help or suggestions from them. They were helpful in doing the analysis for us but at the end of the day the hotel decision was ours as to what we were looking for in the way of things to do, places to go while in Boston. Well I've stayed in Cambridge before and although lovely, I wanted to stay close to the Boston Commons area as I knew there were a lot of options. In my search, the Nine Zero Hotel just kept popping up and what was in our favor was that they were a pet friendly hotel and there was no extra nonrefundable fee..simply sign a waiver (just too good to be true). So because it was too good to be true, I started re-reading the poor reviews they received on Trip Advisor...after reading them I started my search yet again. Just something would not let me shake this hotel.... Fast forward, we ended up making reservations for the weekend at Nine Zero! CUSTOMER SERVICE = A+ THANKS to LIZ and BRANDON for being beyond outstanding . This hotel is conveniently located near everything. We walked to Boston Commons, diagonally across the street from hotel is the Granary Burial Ground, about 3-4 short blocks away is Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market...just so much to see and do within walking distance.....we are planning another trip to put in a dent into touring the area. Here are some pros/cons about our experience: - Pros: 1)Based on the reviews I read, we requested a corner King room ending in 05. Our request was honored. When we checked in and went to our room, although we had a corner room the view was not exactly what I expected. When my husband went to walk the dog, Liz asked him, "are you okay with the room?" My husband replied "it's okay, my wife would've liked a better view considering this is our first time here but it's okay." Without knowing this conversation took place, I received a call from Liz at the front desk and can you believe she came up with three keys and took me on a tour of three (3) rooms to see if I liked the view better? Who takes the time to do that? Amazing. We found another room with a spectacular view of the river and within minutes were settled into our new room. 2) Very clean bathroom with nice amenities 3)Some of the king size rooms have nice CD players so bring your CDs to enjoy a little music. 4)The mini bar is LOADED with lots of options for libations and goodies for the sweet tooth...for a fee of course 5) Comfortable beds 6) Amazing shower experience 7) Wine reception for guests. If you miss it due to being out on the town, upon your return they will ask you if you want a glass of wine to take to your room 8) Amazing Highball lounge attached to the hotel (pace yourself as it's a bit pricey). Board games to add a little fun at your table. Amazing staff...Haley was our waitress and she was outstanding despite the wall to wall crowd. Worth trying! 9) Four legged family members (pets) are given their own beds and there is a bowl of treats greeting them in the lobby 10) Every single person behind the front desk was attentive and embraced dedication to customer service Cons: 1)The King rooms are definitely on the small side. Layout is a bit more open in double queen rooms 2) Pillows are not comfortable...very flat 3) Valet parking was the only option we were aware for $46.00/night 4) Used the mini bar for pack of aspirin (16 count), price list in room showed $7.00 but we were charged $9.50, plus tax at $0.67, totaling $10.17. 5) Comforter/Duvet was very worn Would we stay here again? Absolutely..but what we would do differently is plan in advance for hopes of a better room rate.
