Our ac in the room took until 2 am to start to cool the room. My wife and I slept without the covers for the majority of the night because it was so warm. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday as well, the warm room was less than spectacular.

Nice and different but not equipped for children. No bath tub, no refrigerator in room and not any extra space. It was clean, quiet and the staff was very welcoming. I checked in and went to my room with my two year old. After getting everything settled and looking around and debating if I embarrass myself and anger employees I decided I could not stay. I was at the hotel for one hour at the very maximum before I bit the bullet and went down to ask for a refund and find a different place I was still charged $60. Wasn’t happy about that but it was my fault for not asking.

This was my first time staying at NYLO Plano at Legacy. My friend referred me to them and I absolutely loved it. The downtown loft design was exceptional, everything from the pool area, to the library rooms. I truly felt at home. The staff greeted you upon arriving and leaving. I definitely look forward to another stay!

My stay at the NYLO was wonderful. I was a little frustrated when I arrived and they had no rooms available. I waited for 4 hours for them to have a room and it would have been nice of they were a little more helpful while I waited. That being said the staff was so nice and friendly, the rooms were beautifully designed, and the restaurant was fantastic. The air conditioning in my room made the room incredibly humid which was not my favorite but the bed was so comfortable I still slept very well. Overall I would be happy to stay there again.

The staff at the front desk were exceptionally nice. We arrived much earlier than intended and the clerk gave us our room without delay. The rooms were clean and modern. Love the loft concept and decor. The only thing we did not like was the bathroom was open on top which is fine if you're alone, but with 2 people it allowed the other to hear everything you did in there. The lounge area near the pool was a really nice place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Probably one of the nicest places we have stayed in awhile and very reasonably priced. We will definitely choose this place again!

We stayed for one night, and I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. Very industrial, modern, but comfortable! The waterfall shower was amazing, and the king bed was super comfy. We were charged a $50 deposit that I wasn’t expecting and we still haven’t seen that returned to our account. I don’t know if this is the bank or the hotel, though. Overall, our stay was brief but very enjoyable.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very nice. The pool was great except a wasp kept bothering us. It is a very trendy place and at a great location.
I loved every part of this hotel EXCEPT the bathroom door. Be aware that it slides. It does not latch so it will not completely close at all. If you are sitting on the toilet you can see the bed regardless if the door is shut and there is no vent in the bathroom. I assume because the wall does not go all the way up to the bathroom so one isn't really needed to vent it.

I had a great experience at the NYLO Plano. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean and modern, very affordable, and I really enjoyed lounging by the relaxing pool. I would recommend this hotel to others, but there were a few downsides:
- The pillows were super uncomfortable!
- I went to the restaurant before it closed and they wouldn’t serve me. I admittedly was cutting it close, but my boss had gone an hour earlier and they wouldn’t serve him food then either.
- Upon arrival, you’re charged a refundable $50 USD credit card fee on the room for any incidentals. I did read this online and was expecting it, however the annoying thing is that I’m Canadian and the exchange rate dropped during the days that it took for the the fee to be refunded. So for what I initially paid about $76 CAD, I was only refunded about $71 CAD, so I lost $5 for nothing. This isn’t a fault of the hotel, but a little annoyance that just seems unnecessary - why does my card actually need to be charged and refunded? Most hotels just take down a credit card in case.

The ambiance of this hotel was so fun!! Loved the staff and the room was so cute & chic. The shower was AMAZING!!! The fitted sheets weren't so fitted and the floor of the women's locker room was't as clean as I feel like it should've been and there aren't any FANS in the gym- I definitely could've used an oscillating fan or something in there. But we love love loved it and will definitely be back! Holy Grail across the street is a spectacular pub/bar with THE BEST bar food!!

This was my first stay at NYLO and we really enjoyed it. The design and feel is very different from other hotels. The rooms were super quiet which is unusual is most places. The restaurant offered some great options. The staff upon check in was very nice and helpful. We will be back.

I must admit that I don't typically enjoy staying in hotels due to the small space. My room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was very professional and accommodating to our group. I would certainly stay here again.

John was very helpful at the front desk - very calm and competent, friendly and professional. He immediately changed our room and reported a problem with the first room we were assigned. The restaurant and bar was great. The food was really amazing and the bartender super nice. The rooms are really bare - they are lofts - cement walls, no closet, pretty bare bones. but It was what we needed and the location was wonderful. I only gave a 4 star because of the original room and the bareness of the rooms.

Great place to stay, feels just like staying in a NY loft style apartment. Beds were really nice and clean. Only draw back was that the bathroom is very open to the room so not a lot of privacy when it comes to sound. Hotel staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Would stay here again.

The staff was very professional and supportive. I received help with my accommodations when there was a slight error on my arrival date. The room was fantastic. Guest services were great. One recommendation would be to add more track lighting in the rooms. The natural light is great during the day but the room is much darker at night with the limited lighting. Overall I truly enjoyed the hotel and would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at the NYLO Plano at Legacy! We stayed here on our wedding night and it was so relaxing and check in was a breeze since we were SO work out and I was still in my wedding dress we were just ready to get up to the room.
The rooms were amazing and the bed was absolutely amazing to sleep in and so soft. We will definitely be back.

I really thought staying at NYLO would be super cool and kinda swanky. I loved the whole New York loft idea. However after staying I feel that they took what could have been a really cool idea and used it as an excuse to pare down the room, the amenities, and the decor to virtually nonexistent. It just felt really cold and concrete. The bed was quite comfortable, but very small. I can't believe it was supposed to be a queen. The front desk staff was very nice and professional. Not only did they allow me to check in early, they even loaned me a charging cord that I had forgotten. Overall a good experience, glad I tried it, but I guess just not my cup of tea.

All I can say is wow! Fantastic stay. Your staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered. They were very accommodating and genuinely cared about making my stay the best it could be...and it was. I lived in Frisco for 7 years and always wanted to stay at this hotel. I moved to Houston so I was visiting and had a reason to stay! My daughter and I enjoyed the Comfy Bed and the modern atmosphere, we did however find ourselves wishing there was a plug to charge our phones next to the bed. The room was wonderful! Thank you so much!

The hotel was all in all a good experience. The room was nice and comfortable and the decor of the hotel was modern and up to date. There were just a few issues we had at check in.

We got to the hotel a little before 4 pm and checking into the hotel took longer than it should have. The guy at the front desk had to call and eventually leave us at the front desk to try to figure out what room we would receive. Mind you I called the day before to verify my reservation. Then when I asked him the hours of the pool I was told the pool was open until 11 pm.

We got back from our event at 10:00 and asked the front desk the way to the pool and was told the way but that the pool closes at 10:00. *Now the lady at the front desk was able to call and get the ok for us to swim for a bit since we were told something different. However the pool had a lot of leaves on the floor and only one working light. It was also a little awkward having to walk through the restaurant to get to the pool.

Like I said these are minor things. All in all we were good with our stay. It would have just been better if checking in wasn’t such a hassle and that everyone was on the same page.

Customer service was great, very helpful and nice. Complimentary coffee, and water is a plus. The amenities offered met my needs. Very modern style rooms that provided thick walls that minimized noise. Rooms were clean and had a lovely charm.

I didn't know what to expect when we booked the room at the NYLO in Plano. We were on our way to take care of some sad family matters in Oklahoma but didn't want to drive straight from Austin after work on Friday. The thing that first struck me was the simplicity of the inside...very atypical lobby, no frills but clean and inviting nonetheless. The floor in our room was smooth concrete and it was perfect! (no rug, therefore no smells or weird stains). Beds were super comfortable...as I mentioned we arrived pretty late but the staff encouraged us to use the pool, even though it was after 10...much appreciated with two kids that REALLY wanted to get in the heated pool on a cool night. Loved the shower...would have spent an hour in it if we didn't have to leave to get to OK. Also, being an engineer, I appreciated the way the interior infrastructure was not hidden behind hung ceilings and drywall. Will definitely stay there again if the need arises.

I want to first say the staff is nice, I certainly appreciate their service. At the time of this review the facility is simply in need of some minor updating. When I was dropped off my hands were full with my roller and my briefcase so I tapped the assisted door opener. The button was hanging loose and about to fall off it seemed. This wear and tear continued to the suite (523) where the faucet was about to fall off the sink. The light fixture on the bathroom mirror was also loose and crooked. Aside from the needed updates this facility is just a modern, new construction building, designed to appear as an older structure. Simply put there is poured concrete everywhere. Enjoy.

This hotel is really nice if you are travelling alone. I love the loft feeling with exposed plumbing and pipes inside the room. The bathroom on the other hand is not private.. the walls and door does not meet the ceiling hence no privacy(not my thing).. would have given it a 4.5 star but thank goodness I was traveling alone. Btw. Watch out for long blond hair in your sheets, makes me wonder if the linen are truly clean..

Warm smiles greet you as you walk in the door, the gleam of wood contrasts the pervasive concrete of the interior. I appreciate the architecture - even though the interior is smooth, unstained concrete it is warm and inviting. The room was perfect - great beds and smart - convenient bathrooms invite long showers and prepare you for the new day. It is my first experience at NYLO - and look forward to my next one.

Everything was great about this hotel. The wife and myself needed a little staycation and this was the perfect spot. Only stayed one night, so didn't get to use all of the amenities offered. But rooms were clean and comfortable, we purchased the Bed and Breakfast package, which got us free breakfast and late checkout, which was really nice. Overall, I would stay at this NYLO or other NYLO locations again!

I chose to stay in NYLO for my wedding anniversary this year since it was something different from the standard chains. When we arrived to check in our room was not ready so we were upgraded to an available room. We did appreciate it and it was totally unexpected. We did request a mini fridge in the room and got it, but had to pay a "delivery fee". Wouldn't have minded so much, but it was full of old food (from I assume a previous guest) so I needed to clean it, and there was a bigger problem later.

The room itself was nice, but could have used a bit more cleaning. There was a lot of grit on the floor which was particularly noticeable because of the concrete floor. There had been stuff tapped on the wall in the board room type area and there was still tape and paper scraps on the wall.

Honestly our biggest problem was that randomly the power was out for a few hours. Which on top of all the other problems this caused our fridge was pretty much useless. Sure I was given a flashlight to use, but that was the extent of anything offered up or explained.

Although the power went out, the service was still outstanding. The customer service was excellent as well. They went above and beyond and were very apologetic for something that was out of their control. Beautiful, industrial and classy, esthetic. I will definitely stay again. My only complaint, the $100 deposit that we were not informed of. Luckily, it was fine for us but it may have been an issue for a less fortunate guest.

The hotel is very clean!! Love that! The bathroom was not very sound proof with the walls not reaching the top. Even with family, there are things that should not be heard. The pillows were very short. At first I thought they were decorative pillows, but figured out, they were the ones for sleeping. Could not roll from side to back without rolling off off the pillow. The bed itself was VERY comfortable.

It started at check-in. It was quick and seamless. Then I went up to my room and it was perfect. I freshened up and went downstairs to my company Christmas party. Everything was perfect. At the end of the party, exhausted from my long day (up at 5:00 AM, work half a day 4 hour drive to east Texas and back, then the party from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM), I feel into bed. Wow. The bed and all the linens were amazing. I slept like a bear in the winter! Check-out the next morning was just as pleasant and seamless as check-in the night before. I loved every minute of my stay. Only draw back? No vending machines!

I checked in, went to my room. I set the AC at 68. When I got back from dinner, it was at 72. I thought since there was not activity in the room it had a default. I went to bed and the unit made noises all night and never reached below 71. At 5:45 AM I could stand the noise no more. Got up and got ready for my meetings.
Shower was great!
I would not stay there again. I like to sleep. Unit made noises all night and did not function correctly
I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it tasted burnt. We had sandwiches brought in for lunch on day 2 and they were eatable.
They man who served us was very good though. Hispanic fellow with a beard. I am sorry I did not get his name. He was very good!

The experience of staying in this hotel was good. I liked the way the interior is designed, it was unique so far.
Light arrangements was super cool. Availability and attitude of the staff was good. We had a 3:30 AM check out and it was hassle free and quick.
An area of improvement is the food options for vegetarian people. These options are very very limited.

The cement floors throughout the entire hotel, including the rooms, kind of threw me off. But it was the bathroom with the 3/4 walls and the opaque shower wall that had me questioning the set up for more than one person to enjoy. When I arrived at the hotel I was told the elevator could go up but could not be "called" to floor 3 - my floor. Interesting. I will say the room was clean and the staff at the front desk and restaurant were very friendly.

Amazing Service!

I stayed at NYLO Plano @ Legacy for a job interview I had. After I accepted the position I once again stayed at NYLO while finding housing in the area because of the amazing service I received the first time.

During my first visit, the attendants were incredibly kind and helpful. They helped me schedule a shuttle and provided me with toiletries I had forgotten to bring. I also had a delicious meal at their restaurant.

During my second stay, I visited the restaurant again and asked for a drink at the bar. I mistook the name of the drink for another and when I apologized and told the server, she said it was no problem and happily made another drink and also said I could have the first one complimentary.

During dinner, there was a discrepancy in our order - it was not the server's fault. The servers were incredibly accommodating and said they wanted us to be happy with our food. They quickly brought out the new plate. On top of this, Chef Ronnie came out and gave us a complimentary tray of assorted chocolates!

When you're in an unfamiliar area, having friendly associates who you feel truly want you to have a great experience makes all the difference. I would gladly stay at this beautiful hotel again.

Lauren, Maria-helena, and John are excellent front desk associates. It is always a pleasure staying here!

I have a company Christmas party scheduled there this year and have a special rate of 99. I went there this Saturday with my kids and the cost was 105. Thought the company special on rooms would be a little better than 5 dollars. First room we had, AC out. Had to go back down stairs, with three kids under the age of 8, at 11pm and ask for a new room. Front desk people were great. Asked for more pillows, called back down and told them to forget it because they had not been delivered and it was 35 minutes past the request. 2 of my kids had already fallen asleep. Remove the stains on the entrance couches also, looks bad. Rest of it was good and again, staff were all very friendly.

I love NYLO Plano! Very cool modern vibe. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The food we were served both in the restaurant and at our workshop was delicious and healthy. All of the staff was nice. A bit more attention needs to be given to maintenance. One of the two elevators was not working, putting a strain on the one and making travel up and down slow. The stairs were locked so if you came down on the stairs you could not get into the lobby. Thus you had to depend on the slow elevator. In the main floor there is only one public restroom for women, and it only has 3 stalls. Two of the 3 toilets were out of order.

Too many hotels today use cool catch phrase statements with either no intention of honoring those statements or without properly training staff to fulfill those statements. My experience with NYLO Plano was just that. In the room the guest directory specifically states "common areas are for our guests to use whenever they like". Paraphrasing of course don't recall the exact wording. Yet Thursday night around 11:30 PM my colleague and I were told we had to leave the outdoor seating area because it was closed. We were bothering no one, not even drinking, just relaxing, chatting and enjoying a cigar. But to compound the discrepancy between catch phrase and reality, the manager who informed us we had to leave the area was singularly unfit to work in the hospitality industry of any kind. When I asked why we had to leave the area when the guest directory conflicted his position, he simply kept repeating "because it's closed" over and over again with no apology or further explanation what so ever. It was as if I was not a guest of his place of employment but a trespasser and vagrant who needed to be shown the door. So save the catchy phrases and just do what you say you will.

We stayed here back in 2013 for my birthday, and here we are 4 years later and when we knew we needed to stay in the area again, we absolutely wanted the NYLO again! It is my absolute favorite hotel in the area. The rooms are so unique and cool, there is a great view from every room, and the style is very modern. I did notice that the seating in the lobby has visibly aged over the last 4 years. The orange seats could use a good cleaning, but that would never keep me from coming back. I can't wait until our next stay at the NYLO in Plano! We have only ever come and stayed for one night when we just needed a night away from home, but I hope to be able to get away for a few nights in near future and am excited to check out other amenities such as the pool and restaurant/bar!

My stay was during the Labor Day weekend. The front desk staff were friendly. The bar staff was a bit laid back, though it wasn't busy at all.
I think the place needs a little updating.
It is in a great location and is pet friendly.

I stayed for 2 days and asked on 3 different occasions to either fix my shower (little to no water pressure) or tell me what can be done to solve the problem. Was told that the maintenance team would look into it and they would let me know. I had plans both nights and asked every time I walked by the front desk, but sadly, no one took care of it. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but the faucet had 10 times the pressure of the shower. I have stayed here on other occasions and have never had this issue.

The first impression of the hotel was already lagging. Front desk is not the friendliest, seemed not happy to be there. Common areas smelled funny and didn't seem very clean. So I confined myself to my room which was fine since my plan was just to relax. Room was fine, bed is comfortable, shower was nice. My biggest disappointment was when I called in the morning to order breakfast and found out there was no room service. The front desk person told me I could order from the restaurant and go down and get it. My plan was to relax, take a long shower, do my hair, etc, with no hurry, so getting dressed to go get my breakfast was not part of the plan. I just drank the coffee that was provided in the room and a lone apple I had grabbed in the lobby the night before.

Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted by reception in a friendly and business like manner. Check-in was quick and efficient. I booked a bed with two beds and a small seating area was also included. The beds and pillow were quite comfortable. There were no outlets next to the beds on the wall which created a bit of a problem. We had an issue of service in our room. We left our room at 10:30 in the morning and at that time housekeeping opened our door propping it open with the door latch. They were cleaning in the room next to ours. Upon returning at 2:30, the door was still open and they had not yet cleaned the room. I had to request service again in the room. In spite of this, I tipped the cleaning crew for both days of my stay. We had a leak that was reported to the office and we got a response but it was slow -but fixed before sleep that evening.
Everyone at the front desk was friendly, very helpful, and provided us with good information about the area.

We booked the Lifestyle Suite. Nice room, came in and the ac had blown out black flakes all over one side of the bed and nightstand. It had an outside terrace that was not quite what we expected. Pictures showed a table and chairs. Outside had patio chairs and couches that were like the ones on the pool area. Not all the cushions were there, some were sticky, there seemed to be oil by a drain. Lots of space with lack of decor or nice lounging chairs.

Other than that, it was nice. I would set the room up a little different, to be more like a home feel.

Front desk ladies were sweet.

Upon arrival, the entire block's power was out. The front desk was very welcoming and they were able to get me in a room. Once the power came back on, they were very nice to provide the room keys and change my room as the one they had originally put me in was incorrect. The only downfall is there is no dresser space. Really, no place for clothes at all. You almost have to keep it all in your suitcase or put it on the couch. Great staff and amenities, though.

My wife and I stayed at the NYLO for Father's Day weekend. This is a unique hotel with a loft vibe. Artsy and a younger crowd. We liked it - lot's to do close by (restaurants, movies, shopping). We did not eat in the hotel restaurant but the bar was nice and people working there pleasant and attentive. We will be back!

Online reservations - very easy to make
Front desk - courteous and very helpful
Jr. King Suite - specious, quiet, very comfortable

This was my fourth time at NYLO Plano. I have always enjoyed my stay here and the last time was no exception. Always clean and inviting, food and drinks are healthy, delicious and strong!

Already looking forwarded to my next visit!

Nice boutique hotel.Great price point. Love the decor. Reminds me of the warehouse lofts in Chicago and New York. Friendly front desk staff. Shout out to Garland in the bar, who took great care of us during our stay. Didn't give it a 5 stars because the grass by the pool needed some attention.Canvas curtains in the room were stained with sauce. Overall, I would recommend NYLO Plano.

This was my second time staying at NYLO Plano and I have now decided that I'll stay here every time I need to work. I live about 45 minutes south of Plano. I am an entrepreneur and my business strategist is in Plano so I will take a day to come up and work once a month. Its such a cool hotel, you feel like you're staying at an apartment! The vibe at the bar is awesome - Eric and Breylin are as talented as they are funny. I wonder why the bar isn't packed every night - I think more locals need to know about the bar. There's no reason to not have a packed house! It's an all around good time. The front desk staff are on it, though they aren't always super bubbly which is fine - they know their stuff! I've never had an issue with cleanliness or anything and the beds are SO comfy!

After driving by this property many times, I figured it would be a fun "staycation" get-a-way. The staff at the front desk are very polite, but very indifferent to what you need. The staff at the bar and restaurant are outstanding and go out of their way to make your meal and overall experience enjoyable! Even for a busy Mother's Day brunch they did an outstanding job.

My big issue was the room, I booked an upgraded suite, and the room description and pictures fell very short of my expectations. On the hotel web site, the pictures and description was not what I booked. The rooms are nice and have an industrial look, but was lacking the "huge windows and soaring ceilings". The ceilings are the same height as my home, the huge windows was actually one regular sized window, not the multi windows as seen in the room picture on the web site.

I asked the front desk about it and they essential blew me off very politely, I was even willing to pay for another upgrade, but it was never offered.

We will try again, but this time will book in person to make sure the room is what I expect

We love this place. In a word, simplicity is the key. They make it simple as soon as you arrive. The check in quick and seamless. The rooms are a simple comfort. The bar/restaurant is great attached and simple. The pool is perfect. The service is uncomplicated and very efficient. The BEDS! Oh, the beds! They are the best I've found in any hotel, and they are so simple!

NYLO impressed me purely by design. I love the way the hotel is set up. The accommodations are impeccable and the restaurant kicks ass! Great outdoor pool/courtyard and sauna/gym facility. I went on Vacation and slept til 11 (nearly 12) every day. Super comfy beds and close to The Shops at Legacy which are full of great adventures to be had!

I will be back!

I think the hotel has a great atmosphere and will be a great place to stay. However, even being married I do like my bathroom to have a full wall for privacy!! Having no wall to cover the bathroom and being able to see through the door when you are using the restroom is odd.

The second thing that we saw was a bit disturbing. We came home from dinner and your security gal was angry with a customer. Obviously there is two sides to each story and we didn't get to see how he was treating staff however the security guard was way out of line. She was causing an uncomfortable scene for everyone. She was rude, loud and was yelling at this man. When she got into the elevator with him, she said no you all come in. Us as well as a few other couples were so uncomfortable that none of us got in the elevator with the security guard and this gentleman. This man truly was calm and said what did I do and she was completely inappropriate saying how she is a woman and she can do whatever she wants. Just want to say the man may have been in the wrong however the way she acted towards him was 100% not acceptable and if that were my husband or myself I would have called the cops on her.

I really like this hotel it was very unique, neat and clean. I really didn't like the front desk area, during my stay time at the hotel. The restaurant wasn't What I thought it would be, service was not good at all. You have to sit and wait for someone to come to you if u dont say anything. It was only like two people there didn't go over menu or prices being our first time there. But everything else was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at NYLO Plano. It's a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff. The room was fantastic - we had a great view of the courtyard. I would recommend it to all my friends and family.

Love the style of the hotel. The lobby staff was really friendly and helpful. The price if the stay was also worth it.
I would give the place a 5 except for the restaurant. The bartender got my drink order wrong and the meal and drinks at the restaurant we're over half the cost if staying at the hotel. The restaurant was way over priced.

I stayed at the NyLo Plano on two trips to Dallas in the same week. I was very impressed with the decor, service, food - overall experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Loved the room decor and amenities. The restaurant was awesome, I have dietary restrictions and the staff went over and above. A bit short staffed perhaps since all four meals in ate (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners) took a lot of time but everyone was really service-oriented. Great chef, great menu!

I was delighted to have the opportunity to experience this hotel. I was traveling for business so I was only in the hotel from midnight to 9:00 am the next day but in that I time I truly enjoyed myself. The room was amazing and FUN! int eh morning I went for a walk and when I came back I tried out the swing in the lobby.

I did not catch her name but the maid that was cleaning up the lobby was such a delight! She even pushed me on the swing! Thank you... You staff was a delight to work with and I truly enjoyed my stay!

My husband and I love the NYLO because we feel like we are truly away. The rooms are so comfortable, you don't want to leave. It's close to so many restaurants and shopping. The only things missing are a magnifying mirror and a bathtub in the bathroom. Other than that, it is very urban and comfortable. The staff is great. Very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is a great place to get away. The staff is helpful, the amenities and common areas are well kept and enjoyable. The decor is updated and relaxing. We had a great group meeting/retreat and all thoroughly enjoyed. I would go back!

I liked the loft-styled rooms. The mattress was very comfortable and sleep-inducing. My only complaint is that it's too high. I'm 5'2" and found that getting into bed for 3 nights was a struggle. It felt like I was climbing up to get into the bed. A person my height or shorter, with a bad back or arthritis in the hips, will not be a happy camper.
Very helpful staff and great food in the restaurant. Also, numerous other eating options within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed staying at this place. April from the restaurant was amazing! Friendly fun and very helpful. She was right, the pork chop was amazing. Thanks for such a great stay. My only regret is that I didn't hear of you guys sooner. Definitely going to be my regular stay when I go visit my office in Plano!

The room was great, the bed was comfortable, and I really liked the decor. If you are sharing a room, it's kinda awkward that you can see who's using the toilet even though the door is closed completely (better be comfortable with who you're staying with) at a certain angle of the room. The maid service had no regard for the do not disturb sign-- they knocked when we were in the room with the sign up. Then when we were out of the room and kept the sign up (didn't care for service at the time), they still went in to clean the room. Good if you really want your room clean, but sucks if you want privacy.

NYLO Plano was better than we expected. Very comfy bed and the softest pillows ever! The room had unpainted concrete walls, wood and Lucite tables, very chic lighting, and a one cup Keurig with complementary water, and tea and coffee pods. The shower was fantastic too! We are definitely going to visit again...and we live just 6 miles away! A very nice spot to "decompress and get away from it all"!

I get the whole NY loft deal. They get that point. But not upscale. Plastic cups? No hair dryer? No coffee cups? Sheets not tucked in? Totally taking the minimalist idea beyond my comfort level. Cute place, nice staff that's it.

Checked in at 5pm on New Years' Day. We got to the room and the bed was not made and the bathroom not completely cleaned. We told front desk about this as we went to dinner and she (Jessie?) promised to get the room ready right away. We returned at 10pm and found the room was still not made up. I asked the front desk for another room, and she immediately gave me a key for a different room on the same floor. She also gave me breakfast vouchers which was a welcome gesture and the food was more than adequate.

I love the style of the NYLO and I was surprised that this error when the hotel was not close to full.

From start to finish, this was one of the best trips of my life, and I have NYLO to thank. My husband and I were getting away to celebrate our marriage, and everyone there was so accommodating. We had a fantastic time. Kudos to Jacob at the front desk for being so helpful to us, and my friend who was staying in the room next to us. The decor was fantastic. I love that they made industrial feel warm and inviting. We didn't want to leave! We loved the rooms. It felt less like a hotel, and more like a loft. It felt like home. We will absolutely be back. There was talk of a remodel happening next year. I can't wait to see what they do!

Swanky and trendy hotel designed in the true likeness of a modern New York Loft with exposed brick, pipes and large warehouse style windows. Free breakfast buffet (moderately decent food) and free shuttle. Very cool place to lodge with friends or while on business travel. Hotel is centrally located near lots of restaurants, shopping, and corporate parks. There's a cool lounge, a nice gym and outdoor heated pool on-site. Based on the patrons of this hotel, clearly it's the hot spot for the cool kids 😎. Well, cool adults ranging from ages 21 to 80. Yes, every age group was represented, but all with a bit of coolness, edginess, and swagger...

The two major issues for me were:
- The musky smell on the pillows. 😑 Buy lysol and you are good to go.
- Concrete floor in room with only a couple small throw rugs. Wear thick cozy socks to keep your feet warm.

This weekend my husband and I stayed 2 nights at NYLO Plano for a quick weekend getaway. This is the second time that we have stayed there. We absolutely love it! It is very clean and we love the modernness of this hotel and all the decor. The staff were all very attentive and kind, also the bar is great!
We have stayed at some of the other NYLO locations and while they are all great, the Plano one is our favorite! The best part is its location. It is close to lots of restaurants and Stonebriar Centre, which is a great mall! I recommend this hotel to everyone that I know that is traveling to the Dallas area.

So trendy!!!! Exposed pipes and brick this place was super nice to stay at. We faced the pool so the view was nice. Only downside was on a Sunday the bar/restaurant downstairs began playing music at 9am and it was quite loud. Other than that the staff was quite nice and the rooms were very nice. The location is also very nice in Plano. Super close to other restaurants, bars and nightlife.

I checked-in and out with absolutely no problems at all. The gentlemen at the front desk offered me different floors which they had available, which is always nice.

The hotel decor is really unique and a truly amazing experience. I was worried the concrete would be bad on my feet, but felt really good. Not cold, or rough. The bed was comfortable, the staff was nice, the room had a good view. I had a problem with my key on the second day, but the lady at the front desk fixed it with no hassle at all.

The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars is that even though it's concrete, the sounds from the hallway and the next door's plumbing does get through. Not loud, but enough for me to notice it.

I liked the modern-industrial finishes and overall look of the rooms and common areas. I accidentally left an item in my room after check out and the staff did a great job finding it for me so I could get it back. I enjoyed the conversation with your shuttle driver too. The bar and restaurant was lacking in the same level of service and I feel that should have ventured elsewhere for dinner. Such a cool bar area, but it was practically empty and the slow indifferent service was probably the reason.

I enjoyed my stay there. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their food is in on par. At night there are certain events for guests such as live music. The bar is a little pricey.

The rooms are pretty nice for the price, the air con is extremely loud and the light switches are in the most difficult place imaginable but it's a very spacious and well decorated and comfortable room

We only spend one night in the Nylo and it was pretty good. The modern decorations for not necessarily my style they were tastefully done. The hotel was mostly clean, although there were a few spots I was a little turned off by. I will say that I am generally very picky about that sort of thing though. The staff was incredibly helpful and very nice I had no issues whatsoever with them. All in all a great stay.

Concrete walls, floors, and ceiling. Exposed pipes. It's nice and minimalist, but I would prefer the normal hotel experience.

Great place to stay, absolutely amazing rooms and atmosphere. If you're local like I am, great place to hang out on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night at the bar and backyard patio. The bar and backyard reminds me of the hidden placed in Hollywood or even Rainy St. in Austin.

I went to meet a colleague for drinks in the bar. The lobby and bar area had some really great artwork and furniture. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The gal behind the front desk was a riot. We sat outside next to the pool and it was very relaxing. All in all a good experience.

Came here for a "stacation" . The restaurant and bar closed much earlier than the hours posted on the website, and what we were told by the front desk. Tried to complain at the front desk and say we didn't want to stay if that were the case, and we were told the manager couldn't be reached until the next day. As we sat in the lobby in disgust, we watched others go through the same exercise: they were given the manager's card, told the "hotel side" was different than the "restaurant side", and they couldn't be helped until the next day. So we decided to come down at 8 A.M., because that's when the manager would be arriving the next morning. Well, here we sit at 8:30, with no sign of the manager. How do they stay in business?
