Beautiful grounds! Loved the adult only pool & the ocean view pool. Our condo was very well kept with an updated kitchen. We hardly spent any time at the condo because there’s so much to see on the island. I highly recommend.

Nice village and facilities. One bathroom has a smell of urine so we avoided it. During our stay, there was a strong smell of sewage which we believe it was an individualized case. The rental manager Mildred responded quickly, came to investigate and called the maintenance. They couldn't figure out the cause but offered to change our location. Later we decided to move to a different hotel and manager quickly cancelled our reservation for the rest of our trip and did not charge us for the cleaning fee. Thanks Mildred!

Ocean front complex can't be beat. 3 pools. Close to everything you could need, but far enought away from the busy downtown.

We go to Hawaii once a year and always stay here. The condos are roomy, comfortable & close to all of the places we like to go.

Been here three weeks great well kept condo. We’ve been here seven times over the years but sadly due to a blonde security guard that I will not name her we probably won’t come back. Love the rest just not her. Aloha

Being in Hawaii it would seem one wouldnt have much to complain about. This condo complex is nice in a nice area close to a grocery store and a few restarunts. The grounds are well kept and the pools are nice. My gripe are the managment of this place.

There are a few 'hotel' websites that these condos are being marketed on. So you choose a two bed room or three bedroom and when you show up youd expect a consistant product. But each unit is owned by different owners and theres no standard of ammentiy (or the standard is vauge and way to flexible). For example we reserved a oceanfront two bedroom. We walked in and i felt like we stepped backnto 1972. The place hadnt been touched since the original construction Im sure. The fridge was rusty looked tired. The tile counters were olive green the art was faded. There was a small tv in the living room, but it was so small. There was a cassette tape boom box for pur using pleasure and a the 5th edition on "Maui Discovered" to read (Hello....we are on the Big Island). This unit was not luxurious nor was it 'nice'. There wasnt even a front doormat to wipe sandy feet. It was a slumlords attempt to keep tenants coming without sinking a penny into their investment. Luckly for us the stove didnt work so we were granted a new unit.

Again weird management style here: the front desk is open until 5 and they dont care about problems with your unit. They said call whoever you made your reservation with. I said you mean the website clearing house is going to send out a repairman...i dont think so. By chance I found a property managers number in our condo and was able to remedy our broken stove. They gave us another unit and it was well kept, and comfortable. It had ample serving settings and usable kitchen facilities. Its worked out good.

I wont stay here again because unless youre on vrbo or airbnb you wont know what youre going to get on check in. Theres plenty of other places to stay. Also I was surprised by a $200 mandatory cleaning fee, payable at checkin, but thats more of a documentation problem of the hotel website i booked via

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best prices around...

I couldn't be happier with our stay. After my wife and I had to abandon a nightmare rental house after just 12 hrs we were left homeless on our dream vacation. We showed up at the office and asked to see the one condo they had available. It was very nice but way too big for just the two of us. We were desperate (prime season EVERYTHING is booked) so we said we would take it. Ladies at the desk heard our story and felt so bad the gave us a huge discount and really took care of us. I would recommend this property to anyone. Very clean, quiet, and nice location.

Pros: great location near ocean and bay harbor and large shopping center, oceanside pool and hot tub, very clean and spacious 2BR unit (3009) with washer and dryer. Cons: no beach access from the complex (pretty common issue on this island due to lava), at check in we were told A/C would incur additional fee of $25/day. We didn't need it in March but are frequent renters of vacation units and have NEVER heard of such a deceptive practice. The spas were so overly-chlorinated that it stung our eyes and skin within a few minutes of use. Wifi in the unit was spotty and went out for a few hours at least once. As others alluded to, the unit was very outdated, circa 1980's with a lot of raw, exposed (unfinished) wood in the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry plus, unlike many owner-rented units, it was not well-stocked with necessities. It has basic cookware and dining supplies but be ready to purchase tin foil, food storage (baggies or plastic containers) and even more toilet paper if you are staying more than a couple of days. One would think they would stock according to the length of stay but apparently not. If you are looking for a decent place in a good, quiet, convenient location near the ocean and are not too picky about updated decor or high end amenities, it's a good fit.

Great location with some nice amenities. They have an Oceanside pool, an adult pool, and tennis courts. The condos are a little old, but they have everything you'd want in a beach side apartment.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. No beach, but 3 great swimming pools. Not walking distance from Kona, but walking distance from a nice smaller shopping mall with everything. Beautiful views.

We did not book via Outrigger. Very nice location. Condos have been improved over the years some more than others. Only few offer air conditioning. Best sure to have one in July and August. Pool was neat and clean. Tennis court excellent (concrete). Lots to do besides chill on the porch. 2609 is highly recommendable.

Fourth trip to the island, just booked this condo for the third time. We are avid travelers yet still price conscious. This has been perfect for us. Just at the end of all the busyness of alii drive and walking distance to a supermarket \ shopping plaza, we love the location and will continue to book this facility. On our last trip we tried a different facility equally priced and were disappointed. If your looking for a brand new facility with beachfront, go somewhere else and pay for it. For our family its been wonderful.

Stayed here for two nights with my family in B2125. While the room was spacious, it did have dated carpets and furniture and some mild mold in the shower on the second floor bathroom, around the switch which changes the faucet to the shower. The toilet paper in the toilet room of the same bathroom became infested with ants on our second night. The bedroom on the second floor became extremely hot during the day, but cooled down during the evening so long as the fan was on. The fridge door in the kitchen also had a problem opening; at a certain point while pulling the door back, a popping noise would sound and it would just swing back really fast.

None of these problems affected my stay that badly. It seems each room has a different owner which maintains it, so the quality really differs from room to room. Something to keep in mind.

Otherwise, nothing else was bad. The pools were great, the view on the beach was great, the view of the beach and Mauna Loa from my room was decent(loved seeing waves crash over the rocks near one of the pools), and the grounds were well maintained. Props to the desk receptionist for recommending us a restaurant to go to ( Sam Choy's; terrible food, but what a spectacular view) as well as where to grocery shop (there is a KTA supermarket in Keauhou Shopping Centre, and a Wal-Mart is at the intersection of Highway 11 and 190; have to buy bags at Wal-Mart though). If you want to go to a restaurant, I would suggest going to Keauhou Bay via Manukai Street and Kamehameha III Rd- it's walking distance away, and there's a couple of restaurants surrounding the bay, including one in the Fair Wind area with an "Ahola Keauhou" sign that's fairly decent.

This is a Condo not a hotel, so if you want room service stay somewhere else. Loved our stay. We were here for 10 days. Our condo was a one bedroom unit right in front of the ocean pool with beautiful view of ocean and sunsets. the grounds around the condo are immaculate. the grounds people are out there working and keeping them nice all day. The staff was so nice. Condo was clean and comfortable. 1.5 miles to an amazing snorkeling beach. 10 -15 minutes to an array of restaurants to chose from. So quiet you can listen to the birds singing and the waves crashing in the rocks. We feel we have found the place we will stay when we are on the big Island. So pleased with our find here!
