This resort is another world. Everything is absolutely gorgeous and top notch. The complimentary activities are fantastic. One of the crew took us out on the catamaran and visited some of the nearby islands and even a floating convenience store. The food is mostly very good, definitely the most limiting element of the resort

This resort is a small paradise. On the pros, the resort has a limited number of villas and feels very private. The entire island on which it is based is pretty small and feels like a jungle with white sandy beaches. The views are magnificent and if you opt to go to the lagoons or snorkelling trips, which can be visited as part of the free excursions of the hotel, you'll see more wonders of Palawan. The 2 restaurants and 1 bar at the resort are relatively cheap (comparing to FS or Shangri la we visited in Maldives and Mauritius respectively) and the Spa packages are also offered at very attractive prices. This is a place to relax. It is suitable for new couples who want s romantic gateway or people who genuinely need the rest. The majestic scenery, the Hiking tours, the lagoon tours etc make for very beautiful moments and pictures. On the fee cons which do not make me reduce the stars I give to this hotel: poor internet, only 2 restaurants and one of them is in fact a pool bar, and only 1 bar. The menus are relatively limited but tasty nonetheless. Overall the experience is well worth it - you feel much closer to nature here than in other destinations of this type.

One of the best mini resorts, the weather is perfect for the beach and snorkel. A beach villa on the beach and the largest stretch of coral with plenty of fish right at the front of the hotel room. I am amazed I didn't even need to ride a boat to find this, the snorkeling gear is free for the duration of my stay and I can go snorkel whenever I want. Plus the water is a wow clear. The quality of the stay is good, but the perfection of the hotel is created by the friendly staff. Very helpful and catered all my needs efficiently.
Also a plus one for conservation. There is a good job being done to reserve the environment here, straws and cotton buds are all paper, and toilet water is filter recycled. And there is no smoking throughout the whole island, only at the one designated spot at the hotel bar.

Hidden paradise! PRO TIP: for the breakfast buffet, go outside on the balcony to the left and you'll find they have an amazing selection of hot food, including an omelette bar that you can have the cooks build with local sausages, meats, and veggies. I only found out about it on the last morning!! So sad. Otherwise, a dreamlike stay with canoeing, cave exploration, island hopping, snorkeling, and beach bumming. According to the manager this is rated one of the top 50 resorts in the world, so kick back, spend that money and enjoy :)

The best place I have ever seen in my life as exotic island. And I believe I can say that having visited Polinesia, New Caledonia, Maldives, Zanzibar, Seychelles, Bahamas, Brazil, Malaysia, Miami, Ghana, Marocco, Tunisia, Thailandia, etc. etc.. This place is the Paradise. It is the first time I arrive in place where the place is better then the photos I saw on Internet and event of the resort web site. The level of the room is outstanding as such the level of the service. You can benefit of the resort boats to have very nice excursion together with other amenities as for instance free guide snorkelling or kayaking sunset. Breakfast is good and also the restaurant and the bar are fine. Forniture on the beach are perfect. You have very comfortable sun bed and umbrella together with a beach where you stay basically alone. Reef is very easy to reach so you can see every day the fantastic underwater life. Wifi is working well. I summary this is the place where I would like to die. Invest. Go there.

The rooms are big and spacious. Thoughtful details like local fruits and local snacks in the room. Service is impeccable. The place is very peaceful.
There is only one restaurant in the island but if you get bored with the menu, you can ask to be brought to the other resorts the company owns for lunch or dinner

This place was more than I expected and was the such a beautiful resort. The service was top notch. If your into secluded and private resort then this is the place. So relaxing and peaceful place to be. Highly recommended for scuba diving and private renting private boats to tour the hidden gems of El Nido where the tourist normally don't go. I would to this again in a heart beat.

Luxurious amenities. Excellent service from well-informed, service-oriented staff. You can choose to be busy or just laid back. Plenty of activities to choose from - island hopping, lagoon tour, snorkling with sharks, diving, etc. My only problem was lack of flights available to El Nido Airport. So I had to fly in through Puerto Princesa Airport and take a 5-hour land trip to El Nido town.

Almost impeccable with the exception of maintenance problem. Had a pool villa and my night stand lamp not working and it wasn't fixed after two reminders, meaning manual unplugging of the light cord every night.
Having said that the sea and it's remoteness makes it an idyllic place to rest. Offering daily free activities (island hopping, snorkeling, hiking) there's things to do and places to relax where you are just by yourself and the shooshing sound of the clearest blue waves.
Massages aren't as great as the Thai resort, E.g. Rayavadee in Krabi, service is attentive, amenities comprise pool, fitness center, library, pool bar, beach bar.
Food is standard.

It's a very nice resort with amazing food and many activities. However, sometimes their food would be a little bit burnt and the cheesecake didn't taste good because of the cream. Also there is a small variety of ice cream to choose from.

The best Hotel we had ever been. My husband and I traveled around Asia the last year. We went to Bali, Phuket, Singapore and Palawan, the hotels that we stayed were 5 stars. But none of them were as good as El Nido Pangulasian Resort. The service is outstanding and the food impeccable. We enjoyed our stay, we are looking forward to go back again. As well, I'm interested in buying a timeshare, if there is one.
