Certifications

Green Globe

Green Globe’s International Standard for Sustainable Tourism is a certification scheme that requires hotels to report on their sustainability performance throughout their supply chains. It traces its roots back to the United Nations Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992, where 182 Heads of State endorsed the Agenda 21 principles of Sustainable Development. The standards are a collection of over 330 compliance indicators that are applied to 41 individual sustainability criteria - these can be divided into four themes:

• Sustainable Management
• Social/Economic
• Cultural Heritage
• Environmental

Clients can calculate their CO2e footprint, the financial cost of that CO2e, and track their performance of energy and water consumption and non-recyclable waste production. The certification is only awarded to members that have a compliance rating of at least 51%. The award can then only be maintained if members continually improve by 3% every year.

Very good for a 4 star hotel! Best location, close to everything. If you need parking, there is a public parking on a side (next block from the hotel). One day parking there cost us about 44 EUR for 24-hours and the next day was free, because all public parking in Amsterdam is free on weekend.
Regarding the hotel. Clean rooms, a little too soft bed, but comfy pillows.
Overall, good experience! 👍👍👍👍

Simply the best hotel to stay in Amsterdam. Perfect location and magnificent rooms. Far better than other mid-upper hotels, best in tier and beyond! I’ve been many times and we always want to stay here.

Good location. Can access various key tourist sighting seeing locations and restaurants easily. Hotel room is small and good for 1 person. Hygiene standard is not up to 4-star.

This hotel was nice while we were staying in Amsterdam. I have no complaints from our actual stay, we enjoyed our time there very much.
However, trying to get in contact with the hotel after departure has been an absolute nightmare. We have been sending multiple emails to the address listed on the hotels website (an address I have sent/received emails to/from previous to our stay.) This email address is now apparently invalid. I have even reached out to the property on two different forms of social media with no reply. IF ANYONE READS THIS please get in contact with me. We are seeking information about an item we think we left behind.

Amazing hotel. Room was fab, bed was comfy. Front of house staff went out of they're way. Will definitely be back.

Beds were a little soft for us but pillows were comfortable. Nice shampoo and soap in room but washroom set up was not really ideal. Shower didn't have a great seal and water went everyone first time but figured it out and kept pressure lower next time. Toilet is also just behind glass door so have to be pretty comfortable with whoever you're sharing the room with. Gym was decent. The location was great. Easy to walk to main spots. Took tram from station and bus to airport. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The bathroom is inside the room, no doors. Just a tiny shower box, a toilet and a sink in the corner of your room. It's supposed to be trendy and cool, except that it is not practical. For example, you can't regulate the shower temperature without getting your room floor wet and you step out of a hot shower straight into a freezing cold room.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Beautiful stay... we got the loft room. Two story bedroom, huge spacious and bed was extremely cosy. If your planning on doing lots of sightseeing staying here is a shame cause you won't be spending all your time here. 10/10

Very good hotel overall. Breakfast is very good in fair price, considering the average prices in Amsterdam. The room we stayed was nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The stuff were very friendly and helpful, as well as discreet. My only negative feedback is if that smell of frying food coming from their own restaurant in the ground floor to the lobby and up to the fourth floor, were our room was located. The location was super convenient.

1st class service & Amazing Breakfast. Stayed for 3 nights and let me tell you these beds are unforgettable. Shower & bathroom have shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers. Breakfast buffet downstairs at Momo has absolutely everything. (23.5€) Over A+

You really pay for the location, that’s all. Cleanliness of the room wasn’t perfect (which it should be, for this type of hotel), and overall vibe is just that of a mediocre 3 star hotel. My bed was just too soft, felt like I was sleeping on a half deflated air mattress. Service was good and staff was very friendly! There’s better hotels out there in Amsterdam at this price range though.

Elegant hotel with very friendly staff. Bed was too soft for my taste, but they brought firmer pillows when I asked. Some room features took a bit of getting used to: eg plugging your key card into a slot inside the room to turn electricity on.

The place is very neat and clean. The standard rooms are clean and nicely arranged but very small. There is no separated bathroom. Instead, the shower and toilet are in the room behind a glass door. The sink and wash area is by the bed which is a bit strange but for my understanding, many accommodations in Amsterdam center are like this.
The location is excellent. Right by Vondelpark and the museums, 5 minutes to main touristic city center and easily accessed by public transportation.

I'm currently staying at this hotel for 4 nights and so far so good the room is perfect, the bed is one of the comfiest bed's I've ever laid on. The shower is perfect. Smart TV in the room which you can mirror your mobile phones screen to in order to watch Netflix. The hotel is right where the action is right next to the shopping district and right next to the museum District, perfectly nestled right In the middle . Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone taking a trip to Amsterdam.

We were sent here from another hotel as they were overbooked. This hotel was probably better as the staff were really friendly and helpful. Made sure we settled in alright.
The breakfast in bed was excellent and huge portion. Although we only ordered for one, the two of us could not finish it at all.

Great location near the Riksmuseum. Rooms are small but have a modern design, well thought-out except it's hard to shower without water splashing outside the tub - glass wall instead of curtains but it doesn't extend far enough. Friendly staff. Nice tea and macaroon service in the lobby. Wifi works.

Firstly the loaction of this hotel is amazing, it's within walking distance of pretty much all tourist attractions. The room (Queen Superior) was a decent size and was relatively clean too. The bed was really comfy and the TV had a wide selection of channels plus the ability to stream video from your phone. The room did have one United Kingdom plug socket already in there that was really useful. Shampoo and soaps are also available in the room too. Overall I would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for a work event. It seemed a bit on the pricey side, but I could understand why. Also, the restaurant in the hotel was great. From memory, breakfast is 23 euro and is a buffet style. You save 5 euro if you pay in advance.

Comfortable room, nice lobby for working or meeting, just be aware it gets busy. My shower never got hot but lukewarm was fine! A very clean, trendy place with polite, helpful staff. Right by the park as a bonus. Hoping to stay again next time I come back. 😊

Lovely, modern hotel - mostly catering to the business class, but within a stone's throw of the two best museums in town. World class restaurant (MOMO) attached to the property - very close to tram lines and the liveliest square in Amsterdam - makes the Park hotel perfectly situated for an Amsterdam visit.

Great location near shops and restaurants. Rooms are small with cubicle for shower and toilet. The balcony door is locked and the window only opens 6 inches. (The manager did open the balcony door for me ) great friendly staff very helpful. Once checked out not so helpful. Have to check out at 12pm not being picked up untill 5pm no place to have a shower before you leave very hot and sticky would like freshen up before we travel home. They will charge you a full nights stay to freshen up. Will not stay again

Hotel is in a great location for exploring central Amsterdam and further out. We were able to walk most places and there are a lot of good restaurants 5 minutes away.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
They have a room where you can keep your bags if you're early to check in etc which is extremely helpful and thoughtful. It seems quite secure too as there is someone manning the room and tags that you hand in to retrieve your bag.
The breakfast is 18 Euro per person which I feel is quite steep, the quality is average with few hot options (which weren't good quality) and some croissants, bread, fruit etc. Quite normal for European hotels but average quality.
The room was nice with comfortable beds but it wasn't clean, the floor was covered in dirt/mess when we first arrived so clearly hadn't been hoovered which seems ridiculous! The surfaces weren't particularly clean either but the bed seemed clean enough thankfully. Room also smelt strongly of cigarettes despite it being a no smoking room which was extremely off putting.
We also had an issue with the "minibar" service, every night we would have to ask for clean mugs, teabags and spoons in order to make a cup of tea - the used mugs were just left in our room and not replaced.
Overall good hotel and glad we chose to stay here because of the location but think they could do a bit better for the price and 4 stars.

Location is amazing , I got an executive room(420) which was small enough and the seating in the room wasn't great Felt very weak , but the bed is big and very comfortable .The mini bar has good options but expensive ( no surprise there ). Bathroom is also small but has two sinks and nice soaps, shower is very small but always had hot water. Room service is 24/7 and are very nice and professional on arrival. Breakfast is reasonably priced and lots to choose from , would recommend a visit mainly due to the great location.

Fancy boutique hotel in perfect location if you want to discover the city - either walking or using tram.
Beds feel like marshmallows. Didn't love it the first night but must say you get used to it.
Bathrooms get very very moist after having a shower and there is no hooks for towels.

The bed is incredibly soft. Like a marshmallow. Stupid soft. I literally had trouble getting out of it. Like, physically. The staff was also incredibly nice.

My biggest gripe came from the fact that our room was set up with 2 beds when we asked for a single bed. It took them near 40 minutes to fix this after having checked in well in advanced while running on 2 hours of sleep. It was a "when it rains it pours" moment.

That aside, I was pretty happy with just about everything else.

Had a fantastic room with television at end of the bed and the softest most comfy bed I have ever had in a hotel. The staff were brilliant. It's on a tram line making it easy to get around. Only downside was expensive parking but it shares that with most of the hotels in Amsterdam.

Very good location, just off the Vondelpark and within five minutes walk of the major museums. The staff were all very helpful - especially with directions towards the centre of town.

This is my preferred hotel in Amsterdam - having now stayed here three times in total. It's the one I recommend to friends and family.

Great hotel, rooms are clean, staff friendly and affordable, amazing location! If i had to be critical, rooms could use better maintenance. Shower door was Jury rigged and the light switch was stuck in the on position. Over all I would visit again.

Perfect location with the airport shuttle 5 minutes away. The room was large with a comfortable bed and a smart TV, however, I couldnt get the smart functions to work with my Android phone.

The hotel has a great feeling, with a gym open 24/7 including both cardio and weightlifting in the form of dumbbells and some machines.

Didn't try the breakfast as 20€ per person was a bit too hefty in my opinion, but it seems to be the standard rate here in Amsterdam.

Our check-in time was 3 pm but we had to wait another 45 minutes in the lobby due to cleaning. When coming straight from the airport this might be a concern if you are on a schedule.

Park Hotel is chic, welcoming and well located. The rooms are well appointed, stylish and very quiet. The beds are super comfortable and importantly for me, they have black out curtains. The staff are lovely and work hard to make sure your stay is perfect. Will definitely be staying here again!

Loved this place. This was the last stop on my honeymoon trip to europe and definitely the best hotel. The room is clean and very nice. The air conditioner is great. Staff are very helpful. But the very best part is the bed which is AMAZING and the shower is wonderful too. Very happy :)

Just left a place which I booked on airb&b which have to say was shocking, buyer beware they say! Looked up a hotel to stay at instead so took a pun on this little gem as I realised now after only two hours I now know this was the place I should have booked. I lost money on the airB&B but much happier I choose this hotel. BTW great bar down stairs and great staff all round., thank you Park Hotel perfect!!!

My family and I stayed for six nights recently. The rooms were very good and the hotel well organised in general.
The main reason for making a comment is to compliment the staff. Everyone we asked for help or advice were happy to help and carried out their tasks very cheerfully. It is a very welcoming place - which is what you need when travelling. I've travelled the world and stayed in many hotels but have rarely felt so comfortable.
If you are reading this and wondering about staying here I would recommend that you give it a try!!
The hotel is very well located and there is a choice of rooms both on the front [ busier ] or at the rear - very quiet.
Whatever your choice enjoy Amsterdam - a friendly city with one word of caution - watch the bikes!!
