Very friendly staff and pet friendly. It's a renovated hotel with a pool and hot tub. Both of which are well maintained and out side with a look of the mountains. There is a bar, cafe and a restaurant which are rated highly in the area. The cafe is great for coffee and breakfast crepes. The hotel backs on to a nature reserve and marina which are good for walking. Rooms in the front have a much less appealing view of the parking lot and trains. Overall, it's a very nice and higher class of a hotel and I'd return in the future for a good getaway.

Booked this hotel quite randomly when I was looking for a pet friendly hotel around the area and so glad we did. Not sure if all rooms are newer but our first floor room is totally renovated, has ice cold AC and is huge. The lobby is beautiful as well. We had brunch at the French cafe here which was delicious and beers on the patio of the sports bar. Most of all - very friendly staff. Will definitely make a point to come back!

The view is great with lake and mountain.. There is so much to see and explore. At evening time, it is a great place for your to walk around. Besides, you will be able to see the train pass by.

This place is spectacular! Everything, from the front desk to the room views is beyond reproach.

The staff are extremely professional and courteous. The restaurants, Sandbar and Don Cherry's, have the same menu. The Sandbar is quieter and closes earlier at 9 though.

The rooms are clean and modern, even comes with a telephone in the bathroom. Not sure why, but ok. Views of the lake are the best, and are memorable. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again.

Out of the room's windows, you can see the beautiful lake. It's a stunning view, and the hotel has a indoor and outdoor pool which is super cool because it's connected. In my room at least, there was a jacuzzi and a shower box. Overall it was an amazing experience.

We were there this weekend as wedding guests. Check-in was easy and quick. The room we stayed in was spotless! Even the grout, corners, shower drain, light switches, etc. were spotless. The room was quiet and we had a gorgeous view of the lake. The bed was comfortable and had an assortment of pillows to choose from. The towels were soft.

Front desk service was polite and efficient. The lobby is gorgeous, and though the building seems older it is incredibly well maintained.

The french cafe has wonderful crepes and coffee and is a comfortable place to start off a good morning.

We would stay there again for sure. And we would recommend it to other people.

This is unexpectedly luxurious accommodation. The entrance is very grand and the decor is very nice. There is ample space everywhere, even in our room. The view of the marsh, the lake and the mountains is stunning. There is so much to see and explore, right on the surrounding ground themselves.

The staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable, and even took the time to work with us to accommodate a special request relating to a personal, family matter.

We have no complaints at all and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It had been a long time since I’d enjoyed a hotel as an experience rather than just a place to sleep. The location is privileged and the attention to detail and courteous staff made us want to stay in the room much longer than our usual. The Prestige is a perfect balance between old fashioned service and meeting the needs of modern travel.

The suite was lovely, beautiful view off the balcony, and thoughtful gift bag from guest services. Bliss spa was amazing and the hot stone massage to die for. The noise in the hallway kept me awake, and service at the sandbar restaurant was mediocre. Prices and food are wonderful. Front desk ladies are a joy and the cleaning ladies very polite and helpful. A great birthday besides the lack of sleep from noise.

My husband and I stayed here on our honey moon and absolutely loved it! It's gorgeous as soon as you walk in. The service was great and the beds were comfortable. The view from our window was beautiful. And you're not far from the wharf. The swimming pool is indoor/outdoor. Will definitely visit again! 😊

Decent location. Few restaurants nearby but close early. Askew’s (grocery store) 10 min walk. Not much to do in the evening. Good place for overnight stay only. WiFi was a bit slow. Overall the room was clean but lacked electrical outlets. The shower was very weak and confirmed with 2 stays within 3 days.

Best place to stay in Salmon Arm! Hotel has everything you can possibly expect from high quality hotel - spa, shopping, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, amazing restaurant and stunning view. Rooms are very clean, spacious and well kept. Hotel has lots of parking for guests and is strategically located for an easy access to all the local restaurants and attractions. Rooms are very reasonably priced.

Well the kady we were dealing with at the front desk Lisa was a nightmare! She really had no idea what she was doing and long story short it ended up with me having a hold of 350$ on my bank account. Totally ruined my whole trip was stressed out the whole time. The food was pretty ok. The pool was nice actually probably my favourite part. The rooms were very clean my only complaint with the house keeping was that they woke us up at 8:30 in the morning. Next time will stay at comfort in or super 8.

Nice place with a beautiful view and sitting on a nice harbour front. Rooms are good, restaurant is decent but hallway smelt a little.

Lovely hotel right next to the river park. A bit of a walk to town (10mins?) but the air and scenery are totally worth it

The view from the room was incredible and the staff were super friendly. The hotel could use some work however. I noticed crooked light fixtures, broken jacuzzi jets for the hot tub and cobwebs everywhere. Even still I'd stay again. Everything was clean and tidy; just a little worn down.

Fantastic food. Fantastic service and beautiful view. The sand castle and pier near by are a must see.

Everything was neat and tidy. Staff was polite and prompt. The front desk called to see how we were doing and if we needed any special arrangements. Overall, great.

The hotel is very nice and kept clean. The fort desk staff are absolutely THE BEST in helping navigate complicated reservations (like mine) Fiesal the front office manager went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way possible. The awesome treatment, and the clean, comfortable rooms will definitely have us staying here in the future.

As a side note, the restaurant in the hotel had a lack of organic and gluten free options, a not so clean patio, and sub par service.

This place is very nice. The details in the room pampers you. And for a reasonable price. I stayed on other hotels of the same price and you can't compare. Plus nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. Restaurants and bar. Great service. The only one thing I didn't like and it has nothing to do with them is one of the businesses within the hotel. The French Caffè. Great attention and nice place but they don't have many good options. Definitely I would come back more days.

The front staff were excellent. And the rooms were amazing. Reminded me of the 1950's,which how fabulous it was, but very modern too! And the ceiling was so high! Being 6'8, I loved this. Will return again!

We came to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and I really appreciate the bottle of wine that was waiting for us in our room. We both loved the room and the veiw. Before super we went on a walk down the pier and it was beautiful. We had a nice supper downstairs and enjoyed our omelettes in bed the next morning. The prices where very reasonable. I don't have a single complaint from our stay! April 2017

The elevator is down, so we have to walk to the 3rd floor. The staff are nice n offered help. The room are warm n cozy but is a bit noisy, you can hear next door talking. Overall is pretty nice.

It has an amazing view of the lake, cool arcade. Rooms are good size, nice and clean, and has a great sitting area in the lobby

The only down side of this location is the train tracks. A block away on the road in. The hotel and amenities are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are new and spacious.

Clean with many amenities (gym, pool, hot tub, restaurants, etc). Would stay again.

Great experience here - rooms were very nice with great views of the lake, restaurant/bar was friendly and a popular local hangout. French restaurant serving a wonderful breakfast and coffee attached as well. Great value for the rates here, will be back sometime.

My brother's wedding reception was held in one of the conference rooms and it went great. There were no issues I could see and the food was excellent (their catering staff).

Great location and views, rooms starting to get outdated staff friendly. Had bad experience when hosted our wedding reception there a few years ago but hopefully they got rid of that person who managed the conference rooms.

Well equipped rooms with microwaves, plates and utensils are hard to come by. It was a nice stay. The greatest annoyance was that there was only one elevator for the entire hotel.

Not really worth it, restaurant is very lacking there's a total of about 2 dishes with no meat other than a salad and the food was your generic bar food, no continental breakfast offered. When we first arrived on the screen door on our balcony was off the track and we could not get it on, it took 2 days for this to be fixed and then fell off the track again. Also because the building in right by the lake it has shifted over the years so they had to relevel it, this resulted in a one inch gap from the floor to the screen door anyways essentially making it useless as we still encountered bugs crawling under with no effort. The elevator is also one of the slowest I've used in a while, but i like walking so this personally did not bother me. While the staff was fairly friendly that was about the only good thing other than the complementary ear plugs given. The room layout is not bad and most seem to have a mini fridge local cable TV on a wall mounted flat screen, as well as a microwave. The bed was OK at best and the pillows were absolutely horrid, one softer than a marshmallow offering no support and the other was stiffer than a rock. Also during our stay our internet kept going out which was quite bothersome, the internet speeds were also quite disappointing as watching a video on my current gen phone on low quality resulted in buffering every 5 minutes, sometimes freezing all together. Overall its location in town is great though as its right by the pier and about a 5 - 10 minute walk to downtown. Considering everything I believe it to be overpriced, despite the location. However, we did have a couple incidents at the hotel and the manager Sebastian is a very professional guy who was very accommodating for us and really made our trip a lot better, he is a great guy and talk to him if you can.

Superb service and lake view rooms. Had to ask the front desk to stop a neighbour smoking and they got onto it right away. Quiet, fantastic view, and very comfortable bed. Lobby is currently going through major upgrade though, construction material was everywhere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Stayed here twice over the last week. First night, my friend and I enjoyed the view from the balcony, watching the herons, geese, and nesting birds. We were concerned about the food based on previous comments, but ordered room service and were satisfied with the food. The second stay was 6 days later. Ate at the Pub. Her nachos were loaded with chicken and cheese; so much so, she wished they had offered a half-order. I had the pork medallions. Excellent.
Folks at the front desk and Pub couldn't be nicer. They remembered us from the previous stay, had my friend's charger that she had forgotten waiting for us at the front desk, and inquired about our travels. I will definitely be coming here again.
The shops around the resort close early (many at 4 or 5 pm) but the staff were able to provide directions to other places that were open. Really enjoyed our stay, both times.

The hotel lobby is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The building hosts several boutiques and a pub/restaurant for dining. Rooms are clean, but do not come with a full sized desk. Would likely stay here again.
