The rooms were generously spaced, clean and comfortable. The grounds were well done; the garden & sea views were exceptional, plenty activities to keep you entertained and the animators are friendly. The food however, could do with a major upgrade.

Generally the hotel is nice, the staff are open for assistance but their waiting service is poor especially when it comes to ordering of snacks and drinks. They have a poor service a waiter can tell you they are not the one who take orders and will call for you a waiter who will end up not coming. All in all hotel is good but service is poor. They do have friendly faces at the reception and gate

A good place for a holiday, the pool is really big and beautiful. The food is great the buffet has food to cater for everyone and always in plenty. They a great live band on some evenings. The rooms are good we got an epic view of the pool and the ocean. However, the hot shower is a rumour it's rarely hot and when it is hot, the water pressure is too low virtually drops. The gym wasn't available during our visit and we were told the gym room was being used for a conference. The staff are not helpful at all, when you ask a question they'll refer you to another staff member who might refer you back or tell you they don't know. It's very frustrating. During lunch and dinner you can finish your meal before the waiter brings you a drink, they are overwhelmed by the orders since there are usually so many people.

Its one of the best beach hotels in the north coast. Its Located on the mainland of Mombasa city around Shanzu estate. Has a wide beach area, good room services, one of the best African delicacies and deserts. Flamingo has a wide secure parking area, with good security.

You have a good view of sunrise from the sea with rooms facing the Indian ocean. It has a big swimming pool and offers good buffet for weekend. Its a good place for a family weekend.

The hotel has good conference facilities with and ability to hold different groups at the same time. The rooms have current projectors and speakers.

Waiters and waitress are friendly and the reception is warm. Its a place i would recommend for both local and international visitors since its relatively affordable compared to other beach hotels.
