We just stopped by for a cup of a cup of tea which was nice. We had a good seat by the window with a view, but the area was more of a bar than a tea place, where we probably should have gone. The staff were helpful.

Went here as a frequent visitor to Portrush. My first visit to this hotel
Arrived evening time but restaurant was packed. Never mind, the tennis was on TV so we had a drink and waited. Nice bar area and pleasant staff. Called to our quiet little table for 2. Good,if limited, menu. Quick service and delightful food courtesy of Nigel, the chef. Everything very reasonably priced. Very attentive staff, good food. Enjoyed my visit. Will definitely be back.

Warm welcome to this hotel restaurant. Food is good. There are lots of choices, and the portion sizes are generous.

Some good views of the sea from the tables at the window.

They make lovely curried cod.

The prices are very reasonable and the place is very clean. Ps there is usually a parking place or two outside the front of the hotel

Spent a weekend here with family celebrating my mother in laws 80th Birthday. The hotel was brilliant, with views of the sea and a garden. The rooms are spacious and good. Staff were brilliant, always going the extra mile for us. Food was really good. The only let down was the disabled rooms, such a long walk from reception, no walk in shower, lack of real disabled facilities, steps into the restaurant. Apart from this the hotel was brilliant.

Stayed here on a business trip for two nights and it was quite nice. Everything was very clean and the breakfasts were very good. The restaurant/bar was good for dinner and entertainment in the evenings as well.

Nipped in for a cup of coffee and asked for a brownie to share. It came liberally doused in chocolate sauce with a scoop of ice cream on the side, not what we expected or wanted at 1030 in the morning. A few pence short of £10 so a bit much for morning coffee (which wasn't hot enough. Pleasant enough surroundings and staff but not going to set the world on fire.

Attended on Sunday 25th March with my family. We were a large party having a meal after burying my father the day previous. I asked for the curry with a small amount of rice and a few chips on the same plate. I was told I couldn't have this as the chef only cooked as per menu. I didn't think this unreasonable as both rice and chips were on the menu.

Only had lunch here didn't stay over. Staff were friendly and accommodating even when I questioned the slightly confusing specials menu. Food was lovely and was served quite quickly which is always good. Restaurant and surroundings were fresh and clean and there was even a painting workshop going on in part of the restaurant which added to the ambience.

Another visit over. Enjoyed the hotel again.... Cosy and warm but the room was still spacious. Love the bath. Sea view okay. The only complaint I would have is that the food is nothing to get excited about. The breakfast is not at all tasty.....soda and potato bread saturated in grease also the fried egg just like rubber. No way worth £9.95. The winter menu is definitely not to my taste and could do with a bit more thought to it. The beef curry was ok but the steaks were hit and miss according to how you wanted it.
Would go back again.... The staff one and all very pleasant and helpful..... ❣️ ❣️

7

The hotel is positioned in an optimal spot. A minute's walk from the Portrush Waterfront with plenty of excellent attractions. The service is good and the bar staff are easy to talk to with plenty of knowledge in the local area. The breakfast is standard, unfortunately I have been unable to experience the dinner in the hotel due to the nature of my stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, impressive got a three star hotel. Though small, the hotel has most things essential to a short stay.

5

Been staying a few times. Very tired. Carpets and decor are as per Ramada from the time of opening some 10yrs. Breakfast and food disappointing. Soda bread and potato bread deep fried to within an inch of its life. Tasteless. Main restaurant poor. No starters such as a basic in the form of 'garlic bread'. Service average. Food hygiene rating 2 stars out of 5. Won't be staying again. Trio advisor a good b and b

Booked for one night at reasonably expensive rate of £125. Was first disappointed that there was no car parking available on site (or near it) and then surprised to be advised by staff to park in the no parking zones because the traffic wardens 'don't work after 5'. Furthermore I noticed this hotel has just received a 2 star food hygiene/safety rating, which is terrible for such an establishment. Would not eat here. Rooms are 'ok' but not worth the price per night.

Called in for dinner from the early bird menu. Everything was cooked perfectly and arrived quickly, but the food could've been more adventurous. Still, enjoyed my visit very much.

Friendly staff and had a lovely spacious room overlooking the sea. It was clean with a comfortable bed and so had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was ok, buffet style so not just as nice as a freshly cooked breakfast but enjoyed it. Would return here.

Will definitely stay again. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfy bed. Very good cooked breakfast in a pleasant restaurant. Ideal location in the middle of town but close to the sea. And sea views from the room! Only slight downside is it is an older building but it is looked after and kept nice.

had dinner and a few drinks there the other day food was very good ate of the bar menu had the fish and chips and the burger and chips both were of a very good standard and reasonably priced. the restaurant it's self was very comfy to set in and we had one member of staff stand out above the rest his name was Stefan and he seemed to be everywhere tending to all guests needs and directing other staff who were let's say not as welcoming or helpful as he was the food and the service we got from Stefan was enough to bring us back again

The hotel is very nice, quite lovely. However, our package deal was incomplete (we were not given our champagne) and the dinner service was a bit of a bad ending. The food was wonderful and most of the staff was incredible. However, we had to ask for our coffee and tea five (yes, five) times and re-order our dessert three times (four times total). Then, even though they charged our card for the meal, they also charged our room (double charge). It was remedied, obviously after producing our receipt, bit from then on the staff began to treat us like we were trying to get one over on them.
So, beautiful hotel. Wonderful food and restaurant entertainment (the singer was excellent ). But the staff is about half and half.

5

Hotel, views and location good.
Staff excellent especially Stefan the waiter
Food pretty poor.
Chutney with pate was a cheap runny pate with dyed onions.
Burger was like the ones you get a from a catering van with far too many bits of bone or whatever it was that I had to spit out
Onion rings under cooked so batter was still soft and onion raw.
Homemade bbq sauce was spilling out but had no taste at all.

Location is fantastic as always, parking is limited but available. Room was clean and functional however bathrooms could use more attention - see sink and bath plug holes. Service was fine but not memorable. Worth the winter rates of below £55 for B&B but does not warrant more.
