I went to an anniversary dinner that was held in one of the banquet rooms. The room was perfect for such a large event. The tables, which seated over 250 people, were not too close together and the decorations for the room were elegantly done. The sound system for the music was absolutely fantastic. The food was not the best that I've had but it did suffice. Everyone had a wonderful time thanks to all of the staff and the servers.

The hotel room was comfortable enough. Shuttle drivers were nice. The reason for my two star review is because of the front desk staff. The woman on duty sighed when I was asking questions about the possibility of extending my stay, and was not at all helpful and even borderline rude when she just walked away from me without even trying to assist me. I will be flying to Denver often, but will book a different hotel in the future. This is a nice hotel, but not nice enough to put up with rude people! Denver has many selections that are just as nice or nicer to choose from!

Hotel was newly renovated (not totally complete, but no noise from renovations evident) and overall had a nice feeling to it. Its only a moderate walk to the light rail system. All the hotel staff were all friendly. Restaurant staff were all very good too. The train track is not that far from the hotel which means you do hear trains sounding their horns at reasonable volume even with doors closed. It didn't bother us but if you're a sensitive sleeper they did provide ear plugs to assist. Overall I would be happy to come again.

Very nice hotel for the price. Very old looking outside and renovated room but still shows age in spots. On the negative side I had to have three different keys made and a change of room before I could get into my room. Only got a bottle of water out of the ordeal. Second issue was that the wake up call button on my (very old) room phone took me to Denver 911. Neither issues were huge deals but both seem incredibly avoidable for a recently renovated hotel. Will likely stay again but hope for a better experience next time

Elle was literally the best front desk worker I have EVER met! She was super, super, super sweet and welcoming. Not only was she amazing but the room was too! Its super clean and comfy! Overall the experience was the best I've ever had! I don't care if my next event is an hour away from this hotel. I will most DEFINITELY pick this hotel to come back to!

THANK YOU ELLE! If this hotel was to lose you, they would be taking a major hit!

Love,
The Bday Girl!

Highly recommend. The Renaissance at Denver Stapleton was a pleasant experience. The hotel is excellent value for the money in the area being a 4-star hotel at the price of a 3-star hotel or lower. It seems to be a popular hotel for conferences which is nice but keep in that it can cause some high traffic if you are visiting for other reasons.

It has nice architecture with a great pyramid style attrium and rooms have exterior balconies but not necessarily a great view on the east side.

They are currently undergoing some renovation but there wasn't a downside to that but rather the upside of a newly renovated room at a lower price. They also were great about waiving the parking fee during a short one night stay because they weren't overly booked up.

The area has amenities just a short drive away but not a lot in walking distance. It's also great proximity to I-70 which is nice whether you are coming into Denver or on your way out in the morning.

Great hotel for the money. The in hotel restaurant was really good.. check out the Angus burger and the drummies. The hotel shuttle van can take you to a dispensary, get you into the back entrance then give you like 10-15% discount on everything and take you back to the hotel. The rooms were clean but the pillows for the bed we're crazy uncomfortable. Very flat.

Location was quiet. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Huge shower. Best beds ever! Friendly staff. And free shuttle up to two miles from hotel which includes the Walmart near by.

Everything was great!!! Slow elevator early when everyone is checking out but not a reason to pass up this hotel. The front desk people are amazing and so helpful. Even gave my daughter and her friend a discount for their first-ever lyft ride. So nice. If I'm ever in the Denver area again I would definitely stay here. Highly recommended.

The rooms are very nice and modern. They have cute little airplains on the ceiling! The beds are big and soft. The bathroom shower is huge and good water pressure. All of the staff is really nice and the room service is great quality. Great place to stay!

Just renovated. Very nice rooms. Restaurant menu is a little light but everything that is served is good. If you love Starbucks coffee this is not the hotel for you. They only have Pike's Place.

Cool hotel where the elevator disappears into the ceiling which is kind of freaky the first time it happens. The restaurant was entirely under construction when we were there so breakfast was a little bit awkward, we ended up getting seated right next to the waiters station and I had coffee spilled all over me, but other than that it wasn't bad. There's a really cool Brewery in an Old Firehouse just around the corner that I highly recommend if you're staying there. Also the key cards on the gate for the parking garage didn't work when we were there so that was yet another complication.

I went to the renaissance for a professional event. The hotel has a parking structure that you can pay for or the other option is to parallel park on the streets nearby. The hotel itself looks very nice and has placed the event hall in the basement. The event hall itself is nice and large with decent audio so you can hear the speakers from the back wall. Everything is clean and professional looking. They provided cold water which the staff actively refilled as needed. The only downside would be that the room did get hot when it was completely filled to capacity. A little more AC would have been nice.

We enjoyed our stay. The whole hotel is nice and very clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. The main restaurant was closed so we ate in the bar/lounge area. We had the triple meat pizza. It was good but it reminded us of a frozen one. The margaritas were good and they didn't skimp on the tequila. We paid for the club lounge access, we usually do. We were impressed with the street taco buffet for dinner, the desserts, drinks, snacks and breakfast spread. It's definitely worth the money to have that access. The gift shop has a nice selection of items including items made in the USA, which I look for. Our room was on the top floor. The only drawback was our view. We were looking at a shopping center. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and a huge weight room.

No refrigerators in rooms, early 90's remodel. I was very disappointed to say the least... the staff was excellent however, rating based on amenities. Black mold in the shower. On the bright side Station 26 Brewing is a half block away, I highly recommend grabbing a beer and good truck eats!

Edit: I gave them a second chance & this time I had a much better experience. Higher level room was newly renovated, clean, & I had a refrigerator! Staff was delightful as usual. 2 extra stars from my initial review, well done Ren.

Very nice. One of the nicer hotels I've stayed at.. 1st time here in Denver also! The look is business/classy only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the queen bed was a little too hard for my liking otherwise very great to stay. I booked at hotwire for $75 a night I got a steal

Nice hotel near Stapleton shopping and neighborhood areas. The hotel has quick access to I-70 and is relatively close to Denver International Airport. The hotel is nice inside and has an updated feel. There is a restaurant inside and many other eating options nearby. There is the Station 26 brewery around the corner. The hotel has plenty of parking on site.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Gave us an upgrade because of a computer error with our reservation. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and downtown Denver from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was awesome!! Beautiful clean room. We enjoyed our stay.

This is my go to hotel when in the Denver area, 1 - 3 times a month. Check in staff remembers you from previous visits. Love using the outdoor pool area during the day to get some work done before going in for a night shift. Restaurant is good, bar will get food from the restaurant if you ask (restaurant is currently undergoing renovations). Bar tender even made a special trip to the kitchen once to get something for a drink I asked him to make that wasn't on the menu. Gym is phenomenal; washer and dryer are free! Parking, however, is not; valet service has limited hours and is typically unavailable when I'm coming and going. The few times I have used it it's been fast, and they did assist with bringing bags to my room when I had to bring a lot of equipment for work several months ago. Balconies in every room are nice, it's great to have the chance to sit outside and eat healthy room service breakfast.

Wonderful hotel! I was there for a conference, and the staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a two mile radius for free. The breakfasts and lunches I had were amazing as well. There is a wonderful gym as well as a pool there. I hope to visit Denver again, and I will definitely be staying here.

Decor in the rooms was beautiful and the beds were amazing. Not the best location in terms of quality, but good for getting to the airport. Also, in the visit, we had an amazing shuttle driver. If I remember correctly, her name was Annemarie, but I'm not certain.

Great hotel. Kind staff. Wasn't the most exciting prices or best tasting food. Also had some unprofessional events take place on behalf of staff and the aftermath wasn't handled very well either. Had a spilled food snafu and left with no recourse. Still will come back. Expect better service next time and when will the back restaurant construction be finished? That chef is phenomenal. I prefer that restaurant to the one at the front of house lobby.

Remodel is awesome!!! Room was nicely appointed and had good furniture. Bathroom was superb and very modern. Indoor elevator atrium is also really hip. Was here for a banquet event and the plated banquet dinner was fantastic. The Banquet Manager was awesome and super attentive. Overall experience was 5 Star from beginning to end.

Hotel was beautiful, but did not like that they charge for parking in the garage. The check in process was not accommodating as our room was not ready until 3 hours after check in time (6pm). The hotel staff was somewhat rude and seemed bothered that I kept asking if our room was ready because we were waiting in the lobby. The room was very clean and very nice and had a great view of the city. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was amazing. Bartender in the bar was very nice!

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Trying to give an honest review. I stayed here about a month ago and had an absolutely terrific experience. The place is big and nice. The staff is incredibly friendly to people and pets. The rooms have balconies with excellent views. Lots of homeless bums around the building, but the hotel itself is a hidden paradise from all that. The hotel has a safe parking garage, pool, hot tub, bar, and restaurant. The hot tub was nice. My husband and I were impressed with this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Recently stayed 2 nights. Rooms were clean, hotel was nice. Parking garage costs a lot extra. The rodeo was in town and there was hooting and hollering all night long in the lobby. If you were in town for the rodeo and partying up it would be great. If you wanted rest and sleep (especially with kids) I would look elsewhere.

Stayed during the Stock Show. The design of the hotel amplifies the noise of gatherings on the various floors. Even with the ear plugs that were supplied by the hotel you could hear guests having lots of fun late into the evening. Add the noise from the road and the train and that equals little sleep. The room itself was clean and spacious. Loved the shower. The bathroom could use more light for the application of makeup. Ordered breakfast and it was delivered early and hot, but the hash browns were slightly burnt on the outside and mushy. Scrambled eggs were decent, but didn't arrive with the requested cheese. Thankfully, I carry my own salt because no salt or pepper was included on the tray. The sausage was the same as you get from Wal-Mart and the bacon was standard thin hotel bacon. The sunrise from the balcony was beautiful. I wish I could have gotten a better picture.

Good hotel and good value if you can get a reservation early enough. They are currently undergoing renovations but it is not an inconvenience or an eye sore at all. One downside is that the room did not seem well insulated. The heater was set to 76 degrees and even with the fan on both high and auto, the room never heated up properly.

The Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel has an absolutely outstanding staff. The rooms, on the other hand, are s bit lacking in amenities for the business traveler. No chest of drawers and a 3 foot diameter table for work. All rooms come with ear plugs because a light rail commuter train blows its whistle as it approaches the crossing at Quebec St. Doesn't bother me, but it might bother someone else. There is a full hot & cold breakfast buffet available. For dinner try the beet salad. It was excellent and enough to split. Parking is $13 per day self-park, $19 per day valet. If not for the staff would rate 3 stars.

Good price for what you get. Rooms look tidy and modern. Our TV did not work, but we didn't use it anyways. Have to pay $9.95 for a day of internet access. Parking was $13/day for garage. Free parking is available behind the hotel. Indoor pool and jacuzzi were nice. Hardly interacted with staff, but concierge was pleasant. Will visit again someday.

My bf and I had such a lovely stay at this hotel. Elle, the front desk employee was very helpful. We had a problem with our reservation and she made sure to find a way to make our stay as lovely as possible. Not only that she is very friendly, she is also very resourceful and has a great problem solving attitude. If we will have another vacation in Denver, we will definitely come back to this hotel again.

The updated atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant & room service was a little pricey, but the food was good. Every one of the staff is courteous & helpful. But the first morning of my stay a construction truck was backing up outside of my window at 6:30am. That's not the wake up call (or time) I wanted on my mini vacation. And the train is so obnoxious! It runs non stop. The hotel should be required to disclose this type of information in its description. I'm a light sleeper and this is something that would've played a big part in my decision to stay here!!

Very nice hotel with a very polite and accommodating staff. It easily could receive a 5 star rating, but there are a few things that brought it down to 4. I would give 3.5 stars if i could.. the renovations are really nice, and the staff was extremely friendly. I did not notice ANY noise from the train station, so I believe people saying that are just trying to complain. However, I knew renovations were going on in the hotel and I am not one of those customers who is aware of this, yet turns around and complains about the noise. The problem with it, was that we were told (without asking) The construction hours were STRICTLY 9am-7pm on weekdays and 10am-6pm weekends. This sounded just fine. They were doing heavy construction on BOTH rooms surrounding ours. the first night, construction stopped well after 11pm. Very unpleasant and unenjoyable. Then, the next morning, it starts before 8am. very loud. On our last night, the staff had left the sliding patio door wide open all night, and the door to the hallway was propped by flipping the hotel lock on the door, so it would hold the door open. We happened to have a heavy wind storm on that night, and the wind was coming though the patio door, and slamming the hallway door open and closed over and over again and we clearly were woken up at 5 am by this! We called the front desk and they first wanted to know how long we would be staying. Why does that matter? Why in the world would they leave a room totally unlocked and open, and leave the patio door open? The construction workers were also here several times just standing outside our door/ nearby, talking (past 11pm!) not working, just hanging out. Made us feel somewhat uncomfortable!

On another note, the water pressure in the shower was crazy. It went up and down, up and down. It would be so low you would just stand back and wait for it to gain more pressure, basically trickling out of the shower head.

Also, the room service forgot half of our breakfast when they delivered it, but the guy delivering it was so polite and personable, we didn't say anything.

We weren't trying to complain, and still aren't. We got our hotel room for $69 a night. This place is a steal, and offers tons of amenities for the price. there is also a shuttle to surrounding areas/train stop, and plenty of stuff in walking distance (keep your eyes peeled for sketchy people tho)
For the price, this hotel definitely deserves the 4 stars despite the issues we had. Just some things the hotel should take note of...

Very nice hotel. Nice amenities. Staff are great. Room was clean and we'll stocked with towels, coffee, etc. The hotel sits close to the highway and light rail so there is a certain amount of noise on a consistent basis. Parking is ample but does cost extra. Some of the rooms have balconies which offer some nice views. Would stay here again, worth the cost.

Very fancy place, friendly staff. My only complaint was the train, it blew the horns no matter what time it was. The hotel provided us with ear plugs BUT there were 3 of us and 1 set of ear plugs. Restaurant downstairs is legit! And Starbucks is APPRECIATED!

Remodeled rooms are wonderful! Very high end. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a $13 charge for overnight parking which I thought was a bit steep. Get a west facing room and you get a wonderful view and a balcony which is just the cherry on top! Very happy with my stay and will be a return guest!

Will never stay here again. Nice lobby, cool vibe, but there is no way to get a good night's sleep in this hotel. Trains are running all night blowing their horns. Even without the trains, the windows are so poorly insulated that you clearly hear all the highway noise: cars, trucks, motorcycles, as if they are driving right THROUGH your room. Rooms come with earplugs as an indication of what to expect. Nice hotel going through renovations, but don't stay here if you plan on sleeping. I stayed on the 'more quiet' side of the hotel, on the 9th floor.

Very attentive staff. Rooms are attractive and clean. They were doing some remodeling but the construction noise was only during the day and they provided guests with white noise machines and ear plugs. Honestly I didn't hear anything. The fitness center has ellipticals, treadmills, weight machines and free weights as well as balls and mats and is spotless.

Hotel was amazing. Remodeling was going on but it was still quiet in my room. Friendly staff, free laundry services, indoor and outdoor pool. Convenient location as well. Close to shopping areas as well as the light rail so you can take it to downtown.

Currently under renovation and the new rooms look amazing. There are still minor issues, such as no ethernet outlet and some noise issue like construction and a train(though not near as people make it out to be, but if it you do see it as an issue the hotel has both a white noise machine and ear plugs already in the room.) I think once it is all done, this place will be a great stay for me every time I come to Denver, especially for their shower.

This is a very nice hotel. Good sized rooms and very modern and nice lobby area. The beds are also comfortable. 4 stars because the Union Pacific train is loud and woke me up a few times. I would still recommend. I would recommend bringing ear plugs.

The hotel was being renovated during our stay, but it is shaping up to be a real nice hotel. It has a great atmosphere in the restaurant/bar area. It is also conveniently located right off I-70 east of Denver. The bathroom was spacious and modern, and the room had a small walk out patio. There were just a few issues. Our bedside lamp did not work, and for a while we thought there was no hot water, but it turned out you just have to let it run forever. Also, purely cosmetic, but the carpet was cut a bit short and you can see the edge not quite reaching the wall. This obviously did not affect our stay, but it appears the hotel is quite rushed to get some rooms operational as they continue the construction process. Overall it was a great stay and a great value!

Fantastic service. The rooms are quite comfortable—even if you're sleeping on one of the cots—and the staff is always kind and helpful. It's worth noting that there's a rather noisy rail crossing near the hotel, but I actually found it oddly soothing to hear the distant train horns during the night. Overall, highly recommended hotel.

Nice place, clean, friendly staff
"Italian" restaurant in lobby- somewhat pricey
Hotel has only a multi level parking garage, which they charge guests to use. Our work truck did not fit in the garage, so we were told to park on the street, and advised that the hotel would not be accountable if anything happened to it.
Stayed here last night, the building has at least 3 floors under renovation construction
Upon checking in, we were told the nearby train sounds every couple of hours, yet this was not the case. After 1 or 2 AM the train sounded about every 5 to 10 minutes. The hotel offered ear plugs. On top of the train sounding all morning- their was drilling and construction as well from the renovations. Commented and made a complaint to the hotel staff, and was brushed off.
Hotel should offer complimentary breakfast or a compensation of any sort for the noise both within and surrounding hotel. Especially for the construction renovation.

We stayed here for a weekend and the staff was AMAZING! We had never been to Denver before so they were very helpful with suggestions and letting us know the easiest ways to navigate the city. Jerry the shuttle driver was so great recommending and taking us to this awesome little restaurant for lunch just a few minutes down the road. He was so fun and even remembered all of our names the next time we needed a ride. The other shuttle driver Ransom was just as awesome giving us all the info and answering all of our questions about the area too. This was the best customer service for a hotel I have ever had including all of the nice girls at the front desk that also helped us. Thank you!

Really nice lounge area and bar. Made accommodations to the guests because of construction (earplugs and sound machines) even though we didn't hear anything. Hotel staff were nice and gave us free parking. However, WiFi is pay only and toilet paper is one ply. The fixtures could also use some updating. All in all, I'd come back for another stay.

Perfect hotel with impeccable service! We were in Colorado for a Soccer tourney and one of the girls turned 16 during our stay. Emmanuel at concierge was so kind and accommodating. We brainstormed a surprise treat that was delivered to her room. It was a candy bar with different size jars, apple cider (Emmanuel traveled to a local grocery store to get the cider) and balloons. The birthday girl loved it (as did her teammates)! Thank you Emmanuel for helping to make her sweet 16 so memorable!

We came to Denver for our granddaughter’s graduation from Jonson & Wales University. I chose the Renaissance Stapleton because of the location and rates. We didn't know what to expect and we didn't know about the renovation. Yes the renovation was a bit of an inconvenience but hey, there are a lot of things in life that are an inconvenience. That being said, our stay was really first class. We loved the whole feel of the hotel and how very helpful and accommodating the staff was. We were able to bring in out-side food and have an informal dinner in the sitting / reading room. Our first night we ate in the Elevate room. We were the first to arrive and were waiting for other family members and they let us sit at a larger table to hold it until they arrived. The food was very good. The other times we had breakfast in the Vivace cafe. The food was great and our server, Angie, was super. It's nice to start the morning with a good cup of coffee but it's even better to start the morning with a person like Angie. She brightened our day! Our room was very nice and very clean. The TV wasn't working but after calling the front desk someone from maintenance was there within 10 minutes to fix the problem! Overall this was great stay and an excellent choice.

Under renovation but hardly noticeable. Had to pay around $15 to park my car at hotel garage or it's on the street and that is if you can find a spot on Street. Staff was super nice and helpful and hotel is really big and upscale. This is one of the only hotels that offers walk out balconys on rooms. Non smoking rooms but you can go on your private balcony instead of going all the way down stairs to get outside.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a room here and they had the cheapest rates around...

The staff was friendly and always willing to accommodate our needs (promptly brought us a mini fridge upon request). While we were here the hotel was going through remodeling and updates. The room we had was not yet updated, however we did have a balcony which was wonderful! We left the door open constantly for the fresh mountain air. The breakfast buffet, which was not included with our stay, was delicious, it also included an omelette station. The hotels lobby was also very impressive and beautiful. The bar downstairs also served Starbucks coffee, the bartender Dante, is super friendly and can make a mean drink! The location of the hotel was perfect, two dispensaries within walking distance and a strip mall with numerous restaurants, as well as a super Target and a movie theater. The hotel offers free shuttle service to anything within 2 miles, which includes said strip mall. So in short, we will definitely be staying here again.

It's in an odd part of town but good access to stores. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and happy. Pleased with our stay.

Pro - comfortable rooms which are being updated now. Nice lobby, pool, and work out room. The restaurant breakfast is nice if expensive. The free street parking makes up for the expensive garage parking fee, but does get full on weekends.

Con - the train. I wish I'd listened to other reviews, because it really is intolerable. There are earplugs and a white noise machine in every room, so the hotel knows its bad. Otherwise, the TVs are old and channels selection is worse than other hotels, like the Courtyard in Cherry Creek.

No refrigerators in rooms, early 90's remodel. I was very disappointed to say the least... the staff was excellent however, rating based on amenities. Black mold in the shower. On the bright side Station 26 Brewing is a half block away, I highly recommend grabbing a beer and good truck eats!

Comfortable and clean. The front the desk was very helpful and check in was fast. No more airport shuttle, but still a pleasant stay.

Rooms are a little dated, but still satisfactory. Lobby and open area design is modern and great, staff very attentive. Unfortunately, a train announces itself crossing a nearby street a few times throughout the night. Though not blaring, you will notice. The hotel knows this as they do leave earplugs as a courtesy.

The staff at this hotel is hands down! Very kind and so very nice everyday! Have stayed here 2 times for a lengthy stay. Rooms I heard will be renovated soon. But all in all, the rooms are fine.

I love this hotel. The rooms are very pretty, the bed is comfortable. There's a wonderful desk in the room that has outlets we can plug all of our electronics into, so we don't have to search for outlets. We enjoyed the lobby bar. My favorite meal was the breakfast buffet in the restaurant and Robert will always be my favorite waiter. We find the location to be easy to get to from I-70. And convenient to downtown without being downtown.

Loved this place! We had an early flight the next day but got there early (noon) and they were able to check us right in. It was so perfect as we were able to enjoy the afternoon and evening in Denver and pick up the lite rail to the airport the next morning. We especially enjoyed the whiskey/bourbon tasting at 5:30 and the brandy sipping before we went to bed. We plan to return to this place again!

Older property. Unique design. Great breakfast. Omelette bar. Noisy because of highway and light rail. Good place to hold a meeting.

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Nice rooms. Fun lobby and bar. Lobby menu has variety options. Starbucks right on site.

Cons: Pool could be warmer, hot tub clearer and pool room more up to date. No continental breakfast or coffee.

Very nice and very clean. The breakfast was good and the facilities were wonderful. I don't know if I would stay here if I wasn't attending a conference because of the price though

I went to the Renaissance for a work event. It was an all-day event, with breakfast and lunch provided. The food was so great! The hotel is very beautiful and garage parking is available. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall a great experience.

Very nice atmosphere. Lots of cool architecture. Rooms were comfortable.
Service was mixed. Started off well, but as it got later staff was too tired or understaffed to provide good service in the AM.

Overall, I appreciated the location of the hotel and am grateful for them hosting the New Years event I attended.

Stayed here for a new years event and was disappointed. Our room was big, but wasnt kept up or cleaned well. Our balcony was disgusting with leaves, cigarette butts and stains all over. The wall paper is bubbling at a seam and is black around the vent as if it's never been cleaned. Only one outlet on the night stands worked and just barely. We ended up having to turn the heat up to 80 to get the room warm as the door wasn't sealed correctly, letting in a lot of cold air and noise from the street below.

Overall, very upset about this experience. It has been one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

This hotel is very, very nice in terms of common areas and staffing. 5 stars for the staff and the lobby and parking, etc. However I was less than amazed by the room, specifically the bed. The room was a fine size, everything was how you would expect this caliber of hotel to be. However, I could not stop tossing and turning from various soreness and pain from laying on the bed and its all-very-soft pillows.

I hate that this is so personal of a complaint, as anyone who prefers very soft beds and very soft pillows galore would love it. Between myself and my wife in the same bed we didn't sleep as good as we would have hoped. Typically there are pillow options at other hotels in the same tier as this one. That would have helped immensely!

I was originally going to make this a 3 star but after typing it out figured that was a bit harsh for one, albeit very major of a hotel, complaint. A photo for proof we slept in the bed!

Visited Renaissance Denver Stapleton to attend the Sounders v. Rapids game. It is a partner hotel to Dick's Stadium is about 3 miles away.

The common areas are nice. The lobby bar is lively and pleasant.

Our room (1120) was very clean and large. If you needed to accommodate a crib or rollaway, you could easily in here. It also had a connector if you need adjacent rooms. The balcony overlooks the large shopping area across the way.

Downsides: the room clearly had 2 beds at one time and was oddly laid out. The couch in the room was rather shabby and seemed out of place. No drawers, only a console with shelves - however the closet is large with lots of hangers. No fridge or microwave.

Parking garage is only necessary if you need valet. There is lots of street parking. You cannot go straight into the hotel from the garage so there isn't much point to parking in there ($16/night).

It's okay. The price is affordable and the hotel staff are great. Very helpful and courteous. The property is dated. And location to new train station is a little bothersome but they help with noise machines and ear plugs. The station is supposed to stop blowing horn soon.

This review is for an omelette made by Joshua. I took some spoonfuls from a vast heap of prepared scrambled eggs, wondering if they were even real. They had no flavor. I looked back at the buffet and saw a chef receiving orders and realized I could order a freshly made omelette. I returned, chose from a broad array of ingredients on display. In 3 minutes, Joshua the chef created one of best omelettes I have ever ever tasted. Thank you. The fresh fruit at breakfast buffet was also delicious. The food was good enough at lunch and dinner—4 star—and this omelette was 5 star.

Overall this was a good hotel. EXCELLENT ROOM SERVICE!! (Can't say the same for housekeeping) ***When I went down to check out they charged me 250.00 for smoking in the room and they told me they had photo evidence of it. (Which they couldn't show me because I'm pretty sure they didn't have them!!!!) I had my 1 year old with me the whole time, and most definitely did NOT smoke in the room with her. Apparently a maid went in my room on a day I am certain I had the privacy tag on the door, and took pictures of cannabis valves ON HER PERSONAL PHONE!!!! But didn't clean, replace towels or make the bed. I got my money back because obviously I was wrongfully charged (& got 2 days of garage parking taken off) BUT, if the maid had time to be on her cell phone to take pictures, she had time to clean/replace towels. THE MAID DID NOT REPLACE TOWELS FOR THE WHOLE 5 DAYS I STAYED THERE AND ONLY CLEANED ONCE!!! They also sell pipes, Ash trays, cannabis cook books....ect in the hotel gift shop so if I had cannabis in my hotel room IT SHOULDN'T MATTER!!! & again for the record, there was absolutely NO smoking in that room and anyone with COMMON SENSE WOULD KNOW THAT!! FOR GOD SAKES I HAD A 1 YR OLD BABY WITH ME IF YALL THOUGHT I WAS SMOKING WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL THE POLICE???? Management needs improvement because as a manager, if one of my maids tells me that there has been smoking in one of my non-smoking rooms, i'm going to either go up myself to check it out, OR call to see if there is smoking going on, NOT CHARGE SOMEONE'S CARD FOR $250 not knowing the truth!!! After all of this, all I'm walking away with was a half-way decent stay and a CANCELLED debit card 850 MILES AWAY FROM HOME!!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, besides Las Vegas. The architecture and design of the lobby is beautiful and stunning, and immediately lets you know that you are staying at somewhere worth while. Our room rate was amazing! We stayed in a room with a king sized bed, sofa pull out, and a balcony! The swimming pools, both indoor and out, where are awesome and my kids loved playing in them and they also had great hours for them, all the way until 11 p.m.

Every encounter with the staff was awesome, and they all had great customer service. The hotel has 2 restaurants inside of it, and both had a wonderful menu and decently priced. We ordered bar drinks from the bar and both where excellent mixed drinks, and great service from the bartender.

This hotel is our new favorite place, we will be going to Denver much more often, and now we know where we can stay! It is very close to alot of the major attractions in Denver, and has an awesome parking garage.

The beds and sheets were sooo comfortable, and the entire establishment was very, very clean. Thanks Renaissance for making our stay in Denver AWESOME!

Missed a layover and United put me up at the Renaissance. Very sophisticated, clean, and updated. My stay was very short but the staff were welcoming and helpful. No free wi-fi, but the 4G LTE coverage was perfect.

Horrible internet service. I got speeds of 5mbps first night and 10mbps second night paying the premium amount and the internet kept shutting on and off all night. No way possible to stream Netflix. Loud common area and I was on the 6th floor. Valet takes a very long time because they are never around. Heat in room seems to start randomly rather when it needs to heat up.

Booked on line when our flight got into Denver airport around 11 pm. We were very pleasantly surprised. Such a beautiful classy hotel. Looks like it has been recently updated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The linens and room was clean. Fun balcony. The shuttle to and from the airport was bumpy but nice. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the wifi was not free. If I had stayed longer then 1 night, it would have been more upsetting. I also noticed that the parking was not free either, however I didn't need the parking, so I wasn't to upset. Over all a very nice stay.

The hotel was a very nice place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the parking was a little confusing, our balcony had a great view but the door was hard to open, and the food was good but very expensive. Nice place to stay but I'd eat elsewhere.
