Best in the west 👓💃🕺🍷🏖☀️🇪🇦

Stayed for a week beginning of February.The hotel was in a good location,5 mins from long Sandy beach. The food was excellent and the Hotel was spotless. Staff very helpful and were given a glass of fizz on arrival.Only fault we could remark on was the smoking areas were very close to non smokers in the dining areas.It was our first visit to Gran canaria would certainly return to this hotel.We booked through jet 2holidays and were told that they have their rooms on the second floor only, the rooms were very spacious and had big balconies, only downside being they overlooked a busy road which was quite noisy.Of course we were told we could be upgraded to a pool or sea view at 28 pounds per night, .

Great friendly staff nothing too much trouble. Food and drink excellent quality nice rooms and pool area.

Staff attentive and helpful. Room and towels cleaned daily. Nice touch having a reserved area for families by the kids pool, and drinks very reasonable if not on all inclusive. Some of the best food I've ever eaten on holiday with a fantastic selection of fish, meat, veg and dessert... Everyone was well catered for. Would definitely return again!!

Lovely , comfortable hotel . Pool great temperature and area nice but a bit slippery and obviously the age old issue with the people putting their towels on the sun loungers at 8 a.m then going to breakfast and even to the beach etc ....shake my head at this lack of common courtesy .
We had an all inclusive price and it was so worth it .The food is really fresh and delicious and the waiters and cooking staff bent over backwards to please.
Room clean , beds comfortable and when we asked for another mattress it wasn't a problem .
Mainly German , Belgian , Swiss and French Tourists .
Everyone communicated in English if needed. I speak English/French and Spanish so had no problems .
Lots of play areas for kids and a kids club .
Good Value and a relaxing stay . I will go back

Well this hotel is definitely worth the 5 stars. Thoroughly enjoyed our week away at this resort. On our late arrival we quickly checked in and we're told to go for dinner as it was due to finish within half an hour. Got our room card and went. Returned to the room, bags already there and a bottle of fizz 👌🏽.

Through the week the staff did the best they could to ensure we had a perfect stay. Although not all of them speak English some do try and some have fluent English which helps.

Room itself was good. It was a room at the end of the day, only spend a limited time there. Shower was lovely however.

In terms of food at the resort. Everything was fully cooked and tasted really nice. Although if you're a vegetarian you'll find it hard if I'm honest. My wife had food but struggled a bit as even their salads had traces of meat or chicken. However they try to do their best for you. The fresh fruit and dessert was lovely.

Pool area and bar is very nice. Poolside opens at 0845 and you have tokens for towels. Just hand them over to the pool attendant and they'll give you your bed.

Evening entertainment was good and different each night. Live singers too that sing a mixture of songs.

The beach is literally down the road, About a 2 minute walk.

Would I go back again with my family, without a doubt I will. Kids loved it and the staff interacted with the kids alot.

A lovely well run hotel. Geared mainly for older couples but staff are fantastic. Very close to jumbo and beach.

Excellent hotel. Very child friendly, good food, 5 minute walk to the beach, a supermarket across the street, car rental nearby, quiet and clean rooms. We had nothing to complain about, not even the weather 😉

in my opinion: one of Maspalomas best Hotels. Very professional and friendly staff, perfect experience for a good holiday (decided to move to here because of this expenrience). Rooms in perfect and very clean condition. If you want to check a hotels quality, look at the outfitof the cleaners staff: also nice, clean, freindly, greeting you by your name.

This is what I call a good hotel: the Manager-Lady, Mrs. Maddras, is running the whole day to almost every corner of the house.

Freind living here had prolems, everything could be discussed and cleared in minutes.

Very nice hotel! Truly deserves all its four stars. Almost all staff speaks English and/or German. The food is great as well as the choice and variety.

Excellent service, good food and drinks. Could do with more high quality beds but apart from that very good hotel. Staff was very friendly and took great care of our kids.

Attention to detail is the key here, the staff are so attentive to their guest's needs and nothing is too much trouble for them. Everything just had a polished feel to it, the food is top notch with themed food nights alongside various staples like roast meats for the pickier eaters. Food is a much higher class than other all-inclusive hotels I have stayed at with options like rib steak cooked to order at lunch. There's no scrimping on the drinks either with brand named spirits being used at the bars alongside local lagers and wines. Wine wise, the waiters in the restaurant are happy to serve a bottle to your table with your meal rather than you having to repeatedly order by the glass as you do in other hotels.
Make sure you bring suitable attire for dinner as there is a dress code in the restaurant meaning you can't just turn up in your pool attire - for gents it's smart-casual such as dress shorts and T-shirt rather than your swim shorts!
Rooms are clean and comfortable, with cleaners visiting every day, everything is absolutely spotless. There was a note left when we went in that if the mattress was too hard or too soft, they'd happily swap it for something more your preference!!
The pool area is divided up into an outdoor bar with lounge area, the main poolside with plenty of sunbeds, then other terraced areas away from the pool if you just want to relax.
I can't really leave a review without mentioning the free WiFi - top work whoever installed that!! There isn't a single area of the hotel where you can't get a signal, and it's fast too. Even with a hotel full of people your browsing experience is better than most people's home broadband connection!
Any grammar errors in my review can probably be attributed to the generous measures the bar staff offer, ably assisted by my phone's autocorrect.
Tldr; fantastic hotel, you won't be disappointed!

First impressions are good. Wonderful food and a lovely hotel. After a few days I'm realising this is in fact an amazing hotel. Staff are so friendly and attention to detail is key to a what makes this hotel what it is.
Food in the restaurant is good and is another outstanding feature here. It doesn't have that continental bland generic taste you experience so often when dining at your hotel. It all looks so nice too, especially the deserts.
Highly recommended, you only have to look at TripAdvisor too for confirmation.

Cannot fault the hotel at all. Staff friendly on arrival. Champagne at reception. Room spotless and spacious. Balcony overlooking pool. No early morning wacky races for sunbeds in the morning. Unable to reserve beds until 9am. Always able to get a sunbed in our choice of location. Food is varied and delicious. No fat on the meat at all and staff everywhere so happy and friendly. Only downside is that when coach pulls up, you can see graffiti on exterior walls which isn't a great first impression. Equally, I'm not sure about Playa del Ingles but that isn't the hotels fault

I love the Sandy Beach Hotel! All Facilities in the hotel are clean. The hotel garden/pool/dinner area is well done! Staff always friendly and funny :-) There is a wide range of food at breakfast/lunch/dinner (even for veggies as I am). Rooms are big and luxury, very comfortable beds. Hotel offers animation programs and change the food theme every evening and after dinner there is always some program such as music, Quiz and more! I like the balcony in the rooms (they have a glass fence which allows me to have a view over the hotel area and even over Maspalomas and the ocean). It's a high end hotel with very affordable prices.

Here now 1st of 2weeks..its spotlessly clean.food 1st class.staff very helpful. Nudist area for the all over sun tan on the roof top free saunas and steam room ..free wifi ..no horading of sunbeds which once you find one along comes pool attendent with soft cushion for you freash beech towles every day..advise dont feed the doves..will defo come here again thank you sandy beeches for wonderful time x

Nice staff and great food. Quite and clean. Maybe 300 m to the beach. Very central. The bakery from this hotel is fantastic.

Hotel service is second to none. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food is fantastic and very varied and freshly cooked in front of you.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Die Essensauswahl ist top und die Zimmer sind sauber. Sollte etwas nicht stimmen, ist die Rezeption jederzeit besetzt und löst alle Probleme ohne weitere Fragen. Die Liegen direkt am Pool sind natürlich kurz nach Öffnung durch die älteren Bewohner für den restlichen Tag behandtucht. Manchmal werden die Tische im Restaurant etwas voreilig abgeräumt, hier hilft aber eine Sonnenbrille als "Handtuch" und die Hektik der Kellner wird nur von der Hektik der Chefin übertroffen, die manchmal damit die genannte Tisch-Problematik verursacht.

Das Sandy Beach hat einen sehr hohen Anteil an Stammgästen, und auch wir kommen immer und immer wieder. Und das hat seine Gründe …

- Wg. der noch überschaubaren Anzahl der Gäste, ist man keine „anonyme Nummer“, sondern
ein individuell geschätzter Gast.
- Große, renovierte Zimmer mit geräumigen Balkon und kleinem, separaten Ankleidezimmer.
- Ein eher kleiner, aber sehr schöner Wellness Bereich mit Aussicht auf das Meer.
- 2 Fitness Bereiche – nicht extravagant – aber mit allem was man braucht, um fit zu bleiben.
Einer davon mit Blick auf das Meer.
- Mehrere tolle FKK Terrassen für ungestörtes Sonnen.
- 3 x täglich ein exzellentes Buffet mit absolutem Top Service, welches wirklich keine Wünsche
offen lässt.
- In allen Bereichen ein perfekter Service mit immer freundlichen und kompetenten Mitarbeitern.
Wünsche werden einem geradezu von den Augen abgelesen. Selbst das Top Management des
Hotels mit der Direktorin Frau Matas ist immer zur Stelle und persönlich ansprechbar.

Es gibt sicher andere gute Hotels in Gran Canaria mit imposanten Lobbys, spektakulären Infinity Pools usw. Aber das Sandy Beach hat etwas ganz Spezielles, vor allem wg. dem unschlagbaren persönlichen Service.

Kurzum, das Sandy Beach ist für uns wie „nach Hause kommen“. Einchecken, Wohlfühlen und der Urlaub beginnt. Wir waren gerade im Januar dort und kommen erneut

I may only be young, but i know a good hotel when i see one. The welcome in is warmly and the rooms are very comfy and cleanly with great views. The hotel contains a large number of activities such as a big pool, games room, sauna, jacuzi, nudist deck (out of the way, us children not to see ) and a spar with a variety of treatments. I went to this hotel in easter with my dad and we are trying to go again, though there are no spaces left, i am very dissapointed, so if you can, i would definately recommmend you book this hotel. The food is a spectacular buffet with an amazing range of starters, meats, fish, vegetarian options and puddings. It was more ood than i had ever seen in my life and it all tasted as good as it looked. It was not only the people serving the food that were friendly, the waitors and bartenders were amazing, not to mensiob the manager. My dad tells me that if we went again, she would still remember us... i hope so!
I would like to go again to say thanks to all those who made my holiday there extra- ordinary! X
