Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and moderately updated but visible signs of age, especially in halls and bathrooms. Parking is 45$ a night for guests which was unexpected. Noise carries through hallways and walls very easily, we could hear upstairs guests yelling and banging (I guess that’s on them) , but also toilets flushing all around. Restaurant and Starbucks were closed due to COVID. Did not use pool but the view looked nice from the pool onto the monument circle.

It has beautiful scenery and is nice and clean and well kept and really kinda fancy and huge. And in the middle of town.

I will upgrade this to to a five-star once I see if the new management is better than the previous. The previous management were very rude and we have stayed every year for the lighting of the Monument Circle and do it as a family tradition, but last year and year before, we had rude and very unprofessional treatment while trying to reserve our rooms.

Very good experience!
Hotel very well located, near the action!
The front desk employees were smiling, friendly and very helpful.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable and well furnished. Very hot water and good pressure. I'm happy about my stay!

So far so good. The room is comfortable and clean, though slightly dated as many Sheraton's are. The location is right in the middle of everything so I love that. Haven't had a chance to hit the pool yet but looking forward to it.

This is a nice hotel, right off monumument circle in downtown. The rooms were as expected of a Sheraton - comfortable, clean and well maintained. The elevator was a little rickety, which made for interesting conversations with other hotel guests. The lobby and staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I'd stay here again.

We stayed in room 1121. The room was clean and the service was great. The staff was friendly and and there were quite a few added conveniences like our own coffee maker in the room. The only thing was there was a large bug on top of the shower rod when I went to take a shower in the morning.

The conference rooms are very well put together and comfortable with large tables in the basements which was perfect for Gen con night games. The room was alright and the elevators were not working quite right when called from the lobby. But overall it is a nice hotel

I came for a 2 day meeting. We were served breakfast, and the fruit and muffins were so good. They also had pretzels with jalapeño cheese, that was tasty. The employees were all nice and treated everyone well. The hotel was clean, and I'm looking forward to book a room there so I can see how the rooms are.

I have Sheraton membership and I love staying here when I’m traveling for work. I love Sheraton because allow special people to work, special person like Morgan. Morgan helped me in a particular situation, she understood my expectations even if I was so tired that I was no able to communicate properly. Thanks Sheraton to make my staying comfortable allowing people like Morgan to work.

It's a nice Sheraton. If you usually like to stay at a Sheraton then you will like your stay here. Fitness center is adequate for most people's needs. Employees are very friendly. Although there is no hotel shuttle to and from the airport the city does operate an express shuttle which is a good option for transportation.

Located right in the heart of downtown this hotel is one of the finest in the area. The rooms were clean and spacious. We got the room on the 16th floor so the view was spectacular as well. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels and other amenities. The room had a desk and chair as well as an accent chair with ottoman, a television, a closet, a dresser and iron. The breakfast service was great as well.

5/5 would recommend this hotel. Indianapolis was packed from a huge conference and they were able to find us a room to stay to accommodate us when our Air bnb fell through and every other hotel was booked. Very beautiful hotel. Friendly front desk, bar tenders and house keepers. Starbucks in the lobby is also a plus.

This Hotel is amazing. Scenic views, rooftop pool, clean updated rooms! everything you could ask for. Not to mention the staff was beyond accommodating and always have a smile on their face. I stayed at the Alexander recently (the newest most “modern” hotel in the downtown area) and was beyond disappointed the staff there were inhospitable and very rude. But the Sheraton staff absolutely blew me away they were amazing! I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel. Their breakfast buffet is okay, though pricey for what you get. I'd suggest Wild Eggs, which is a lovely breakfast place within walking distance. Parking is $40, which I think is a bit high. Don't get rid of all your room keys before trying to drive away, as you will need one to exit the parking garage.

VERY NICE stay. Friendly staff, good location for the business meetings I was there for. Comfortable rooms, a little noise one night but nothing too bad. Restaurant/bar was nice, good food and very upbeat guys working. I'd definitely use this hotel again.

Hotel was decent. They were extremely busy while we were there due to five weddings in the same weekend. They only have four elevators to support 20 floors and at times it took upwards of 15-20 minutes to get between floors. Even though I confirmed multiple times that I needed adjoining rooms they were unable to fulfill the requirements. However they did upgrade to a larger room with a pull out couch which was able to accommodate our needs.

If it wasn't for the location I would give this hotel two stars. The location was perfect for visiting downtown. As for the hotel, the rooms were small and so were the beds. You couldn't sit comfortably on the toilet, and you had to reach under the counter in order to flush it. The front desk staff were nice enough, but a member of our group had something stolen from their room on our first day and the hotel doesn't even have cameras in the hallways.

Stayed here two nights for professional event. Only complaint is that the elevators are old. They move to your desired floor very quickly, but you can sometimes experience extra g-force as you come to a stop. As of wiring, they have signs saying they're working on modernizing the elevators. Room was clean. Nice view of the Monument from the conference rooms on the 21st floor. Dinner was good, Starbucks coffee provided for people participating in event. Breakfast was very simple muffins and fruit. The banana bread muffins were very good, though. Good location in the city.

I love downtown Indy. But I’m more thrilled if we get to stay in the Sheraton. Always very clean. Fresh linens, great views, nice cute gym overlooking the city sky line. Have yet to get there when the rooftop pool is open, but I can only imagine how cool that will be. You feel nothing less than royalty when you stay here. We love it!

Diverted due to a storm, we found ourselves in Indy with a voucher for the Sheraton. What a delightful surprise and a pleasant pause in disrupted travel. Mike at the counter and Nicole, a server, were very helpful in arranging our departure in the am.
Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms.
Thanks Sheraton!

Wonderful, they upgraded us to a suite, gave us Club access free snacks and drinks 24hrs day, free breakfast, they send a tray with fruit, waters and different hot teas. We ate at the Alexander bar and grill in the hotel and it was the best hotel restaurant we have ever been to. It was a wonderful experience. Definitely would recommend it and will return!

Good. Doesn't set itself apart from other hotels. Clean, courteous, well run. All the things you'd expect. Definitely not bad, just not "special. I will say the view was great up on the 14th floor. Definitely convenient being at city center. Close to everything.

They are trying to upgrade this place, but it has suffered from years of shoddy maintenance and neglect. This 21-story building went up in the late 1960s and is showing all of its age.

We were there in the winter and it was so cold in the room there was ice on the inside of the windows. A card in the room instructed guests to leave the blackout curtains closed in the summer all day so that the room wouldn't be so hot. Time to fix the windows was before you had those instructions printed and laminated.

The bathroom had been renovated so badly that there was no way for the toilet lid to stay open unless you were sitting down. Folks who stand to pee need to hold the lid open while doing so. There was not enough water pressure in the shower to rinse the shampoo out of my hair.

Cheap doors and thin walls make sure you can hear every conversation in the hallway even when people are being considerately quiet.

Surfaces in our room were nicely clean, but walking on the carpet made my white socks look like I had been walking through a field of coffee grounds. Closer inspection showed crusty grime in all the traffic areas. The dark grey color of the carpet hid this at first glance.

The public spaces had obviously been redecorated recently, but the workmanship was so shoddy that everything looked sad and tired. Nice wallpaper was hung on crooked, lumpy walls. Nice tile was installed on floors that had not been leveled. The Panorama Lounge on the 21st floor is a great space in theory, but we had no view as the ancient windows had all fogged and iced over.

The attached parking structure is so filthy and dark that my husband would not let me go there alone even in the middle of the day. I'm a seasoned traveler and I felt very uncomfortable in this place. Elevators can only be accessed by crumbling concrete stairs in many places, so if you are rolling a heavy bag you are out of luck. Also if you drive a truck, van or large SUV you will need to park elsewhere as the ceiling clearance is 7'4".

The staff worked hard and were friendly, but I had to go back to the hotel in the middle of a busy day because the reservations system had checked me out with 2 days left in my stay. This meant I had to stand in a line at the height of check in traffic and then come back again to have new keys made when the new set did not work. I was late to a meeting because of this and it was very frustrating.

The room rates at this property are reasonable, but I found the overnight parking rate $30 per night too high for the location. Indy is a fairly small city and I would expect parking to be $20 or less overnight.

The rooms are average. On occasion, I have been upgraded to their suites which are very nice and spacious. The concierge lounge is nice. I like that it is accessible 24 hours and that can grab beverages or light snacks after hours.

The front desk staff is friendly and responsive.

Friendly and helpful staff. The building is a bit on the older side, however it is well maintained. The in and out privileges with parking is a huge plus if you are going in and out of the hotel as often as I do. Other hotels in the area didn't offer that which was a deciding factor for me. The rooms are standard, I opted for a king bed. The washrooms are due for a reno however. Poorly thought out design as water from the counter always drips on the floor. The toilet bowl lever is underneath the sink counter so you have to reach around the toilet to flush. I stayed 4 nights, opted for no housekeeping one day however on the other days my shampoo, conditioner and lotions weren't restocked. I did like getting the VIP guest of the day with candies and wine though!

Convenient location right at the heart of downtown. Right next to Circle Centre Mall and Monument Circle was visible out the window. Clean rooms and employees were friendly and helpful. Parking garage was connected and easy to access. Was able to leave the car in its spot until 7 PM the day I checked out. Didn't try the hotel restaurant, but was glad it was there and serving food late.

Room was fine, location was great. We were easily able to walk everywhere. All 4 elevators broke down the day we checked in. We had to take the service elevator to our room. They only had one elevator working the next morning so we took the stairs down 9 floors to check out.

It's a nice hotel but for the price of this place you would think they would have working elevators. Several times I was stuck on the elevator for over 15 minutes as it went up, then down, before finally making it to the lobby. Or another time waiting and waiting for the elevator just for it to finally stop at my floor but it was full with no room. I ended up using the stairs. Not fun when you're on the 16th floor. I did have a very nice view and the room was very clean.

Good hotel, great rates, great location. Everytime I'm there something isn't 100%. Elevators, lobby, meeting areas, bar, etc always something seems a little off. Historic building and they are definitely upgrading it. Service is great. Ask for views of the monument!

This hotel has excellent front desk staff. Especially Tyler who gets five stars!. They were very helpful in allowing our bike's to be stored in a side room in front lobby. The room was clean and well set up on the club level floor in addition to the view of the statue in the circle. A roof top pool is nice on the 9th floor. The club lounge offered snacks, water and pop 24/7. The breakfast in the morning was nicely done with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries, and juices. Great location for downtown Indy. Near the white river park plus Accra to bike trails.

We are here to attend a course at Methodist Hospital and this was the recommended hotel. It was close and convenient to both that and downtown with lots of options to eat at in the evening after the course. The hotel itself is nice, you can tell it's older, but it has been updated and the rooms and beds are nice. Parking is kind of expensive, but convenient. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and the pool area is nice.

The biggest issue is how noisy it is. It has been one of the noisiest hotels that I have ever stayed at. Every time a toilet flushes or someone takes a shower above, you can hear it. We are by the elevator and people were yelling in the hallway last night and doors slammed multiple times as late as 4 a.m. We could hear our neighbors fighting and watching TV. Outside, the traffic and construction sounds woke me up multiple times during the night, which I know they couldn't help.

I want to start out with the positives, because this hotel definitely has some. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean and in a great location. The beds are also very comfortable. The pool deck with views of the monument is very relaxing and gives with the feeling of having your own private roof top. Unfortunately, we had several problems to start the stay. We were told we could split the hold between cards upon check in when we made our reservation and then told we had to put it all on one card at check in. The water pressure for the shower is abysmal and I do mean abysmal. Borderline unusable. I was also less that impressed with the bottle of water sitting in our room with a $4 price tag on it. Come on Sheraton, you can provide free bottle water. That, or at least water not at 100% mark up and trying to basically what amounts to trick your customers into buying it. Overall, if I had to stay here again, I would be okay with it. That said, given a choice I would try something different.

Perfect hotel for being at the heart of all the action! What a view! And a full Starbucks in the same building at street level? Awesome! Best place to stay for 4th of July fireworks! The roof pool is killer! Recently renovated rooms, also. Spend the extra on a suite. As suites go, it's definitely worth the price. Will stay here again!

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The rooms were comfy and looked newly updated. The only issue with my room was a rattling noise in the air intake for the air conditioner. It is right downtown, within walking distance of the state capital building. There is a fitness center that is typical of most hotels: treadmills, ellipticals, and a few dumbbells.

The hotel was under construction during my stay. However, they do have a free breakfast and a free happy hour. The bathroom in my suite needed to be updated but the entire suite my co-workers stayed in has recently been updated. My guess in a few months this whole hotel will be updated.

The hotel is well-situated near many tourist attractions, restaurants, and businesses. Parking is a bit steep at $25 a night, but there's not much street parking, so that's about your only option. I stay here all the time for work. The service is generally good. It is usually very busy because it is located in downtown. The elevators can be very slow in the morning when it is busy. Let me start with the positives: The hotel is in a great location The beds are SO comfortable and the bedding is top notch. I slept like a baby, even the first night and I normally do not sleep well on my first night in any hotel. The bar staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome and like they'd always known us and appreciated us being there. When seeing them the next night in passing the waitress said she hoped we'd be back that night because she really enjoyed waiting on us. So nice of her. I love that every room has a fridge. That is a great feature when traveling with kids/athletes. Here are the negatives: The hotel NEEDS some updates. The bathrooms are very small and the walls are thin. The air never got below 71 in the room and we had unseasonably warm weather last weekend. The elevators are painfully slow. But my biggest complaint is that I really NEEDED a late check-out. They said they could not give me one because of booking, yet they were booked solid all weekend and I never has housekeeping come by before noon or later so not sure why it was a big deal. Others in our group got it but I was told since I didn't have "platinum" status I couldn't get a 2 pm check-out. Well either your are booked or not so WHY would being a platinum member matter at that point since you already have a capacity issue? In my haste to get back from the convention center to check out, I left my Nike tennis shoes in the room. I have left 3 messages on the "lost and found" voice mail and have YET to hear back. Gives me the feeling like they could care less if you left something of value in your room or maybe they just consider it a "donation." There are other hotels in the area and I if I don't get a call back about my shoes I am going to the corporate headquarters. Every customer should matter.....not just "platinum" members. As a former corporate customer service trainer, I know you have to treat "non-platinum" members like they are one already if you want them to actually be loyal and get to that status.

The only reason we can't say excellent here is b/c our room had a thermostat issue and would not work properly leading to a night of no sleep. However, these things do happen and had we not been out all evening I'm certain maintenance would have been able to correct the situation.
Upon walking in, we were greeted and spoiled. When we checked out with Damien, it was the same experience. We felt like we were seeing old friends at the front desk. It was fantastic! Even the toiletry/snack shop woman came out to greet us and spoil our daughter. You have all won our hearts over with tremendous customer service! The way it used to be and the way it should be! We loved the location and loved the updates in this hotel. I mean, even the hallways were beautiful on the guest floors! No loose carpet edges...trendy colors...we are happy to return to this location and hopefully soon as we didn't get to appreciate the property like we would have liked. As I type, I have decided to change my review to excellent. Thermostats break, it was not a fault of anyone. Just bad luck on our end.

Every thing looks awesome from the second you walk in, but when you begin paying attention to everything else, it doesn't match up. The AC is all broken throughout most of the rooms, at one point it was 88 degrees in my friends room. There are no microwaves in the standard rooms but there is a very dirty one behind the front desk that they'll allow you to use. The mini-fridges don't get very cold in any of our rooms. The bathroom is nice but very small, and the shower head has very very little pressure at all. The view of the circle was excellent but the widows were very dirty. The rooms are also lacking in lighting especially at night. The elevators run very slowly or very very fast, it's somewhat frightening. At night, you can hear everything from people walking in the hall to someone taking a shower upstairs and it slowly adds up and gets very annoying. Room service is excellent, I ordered a burger and it well exceeded my expectations, just don't drink the water they give you along with your meal. They have a Starbucks and an Alexanders Bar and Grill downstairs that prepares all room service requests along with being a functional restaurant. There is a CVS right around the corner which was very nice. When staying in this hotel you cannot possibly get any closer to the downtown area, some find that nice and some will not. The fitness center on the 21st floor was very nice and not busy while also having a great view. All staff was very kind and they did the best they could while taking care of other guests

Overall the hotel was nice. My only complaints would be that both of the blankets on the beds were visibly dirty, we asked for 1 to be changed because we only needed the 1 bed. I called down to the desk to ask if they had Benadryl and they were supposed to call me back but never did. Also, in the morning I went to start taking our stuff to the car and my girlfriend was still asleep. Housekeeping knocked on the door and walked in on her sleeping (not fully clothed) and then an hour later housekeeping was knocking AGAIN even though I had the do not disturb sign on the door. Check out wasn't until 12 and they were knocking at 9 & 10.

The City Centre was very nice. The conference room had nice decor and was well lit. The projector was colorful. Starbucks was close, so if you need a mid-morning pick-me-up, it's there.

We stayed on the club level which has an amazing view of the city. The room was very nice and modern. The hotel had folded up towels into the shape of an elephant and left it on the bed to welcome us. The hotel also left us a complimentary bottle of wine and some snacks. The breakfast on the club level was also very tasty. I would highly recommend the Sheraton City Centre.

When I go to Indy for work, this is my preferred hotel. Love that it's right downtown, has a Starbucks inside, and is very clean and classy. Wish the hotel restaurant was better, but what can you do?

Lots of places near there to eat & do within walking distance. The hotel was very clean & the staff was nice. The room was clean & had many outlets for devices.

Sound proofing in the room was not good and I was kept awake half the night by guests coming and going. Breakfast service was also dire, no one took my order, milk for coffee served in a carton, food not up to scratch. Cleanliness of room etc was good.

We stay here about twice a year. The location is amazing and the view is great (especially when they have the monument lit).
But this year we had a few problems with the room. The tub had a very slow drain (a 10 minute shower led to standing in ankle-deep water), there was another guest's beverages left in the fridge, and the closet door looked like it had been pulled off the hinges.
Fortunately for us, we spent most of the evening bar-hopping so it wasn't a BIG issue, but I have come to expect a little more from this hotel. We informed the front desk of these problems on checkout.

Very nice rooms. Great location. There is no complimentary breakfast but they have breakfast available for purchase at the restaurant. There's also a Starbucks on the first level which is a nice bonus.

Very clean place to stay at. They gave us free water, wine and nuts for signing up and a huge discount on a room. The staff was very fun to be around and professional. Only complaint is the cleaning staff came in while we were sleeping, which was pretty awkward. It was an honest mistake though. Love this place. Would recommend.

My daughter was married their on Sept 4, 2016

Hannah was her contact person. I feel Hannah went above and beyond her duties to assist us. Thank you.

The food we selected was prepared as expected.

My only complaint, were the slow elevators.

I would recommend the Sheraton for a wedding venue.

Overall, great stay. The staff were nice and the facilities were nice. The hotel is also in a great location! The only con I have is that the upkeep of the rooms was not as great as other hotels in which in have stayed, but this is not to say that they leave the rooms dirty. Cleaning could simply be a bit more thorough.

Nice hotel with a great location in downtown Indianapolis. The service is great at the desk and at the cafe, and they conveniently have a Starbucks as well. The rooms are comfortable too. Overall, a good experience.

I was staying here for a wedding. The staff was very nice and we were given a suite. We stayed there with my infant son, but because of the sturdy structure we couldn't hear anyone in the halls or other rooms. Great restaurants within walking distance.

I've stayed at this location a number of times. This visit I was pleasantly surprised to be selected "VIP of the night." They literally rolled out the red carpet - there was a red carpet runner from the door halfway into the room. A cute origami towel pet was waiting for me on the bed along with a single red rose and some snacks. Nice touch!
Hotel has convenient parking, a Starbucks in the lobby, and easy access to the canal for a morning run.

Beds are hit or miss unfortunately, my friends in another room got a pretty stiff mattress and mine was like sleeping on a cloud. Great view of the memorial in the city center. Bathroom fan didn't work however no biggie , staff was super friendly and helpful. Been going to Indy once a year for football and have stayed here for the past 3 times, good location everything is within walking distance!

I reserved my room by phone and paid ahead of time. I had asked to reserve a king suite but when I go to check in the front desk tells me I was only makes down for a regular king room and they cannot fix it until tomorrow. So I take the hit and just deal with the regular room for the night. So I go up to room and what I see is what you would expect from a cheap 35$ a night run down motel you see in the movies. The ceiling is deteriorating with multiple large chunks missing from it and I can visibly see more ready to fall. I go into the bathroom and stand in wonder as I try to comprehend what was going through the mind of the person who decided the layout and size of the bathroom was a good idea. Why anyone put a towel drying rack IN the shower is beyond me. Or why they would shove the toilet halfway under the vanity sink.... Despite all of these shortcomings I deal with the room because I am tired from traveling. Then I realize that the wall/door to hallway (that the entire floor shares) is so paper thin that I have absolutely no problem understanding the conversations of passers-by. It's almost comical. For the price that I paid, I would have expected much better....

The location is nice and the bed was comfortable. However, i would not recommend this place to anyone unless they absolutely have to stay on monument circle and they dont have a choice. Check in is at 4 pm, and when we got there at 6:30 pm our room was not ready. They put us in a corner room to make up for the unavailability. Upgrade my bum. The bathroom was so tiny. The toilet was in the most awkward place. Face the mirror.... Sink on left and right beside it is the toilet. Nestled in the corner and counter top. The tv picture quality was fuzzy, it took ages to flip through the channels, and the tv ended up not working before we checked out. This is the WORST hotel that I have been in when it comes to noise. I can hear whats going on in the hallway, the room across from us, and the one next door. Now this is not the hotel's fault except when it comes the sound proofing quality; it just added to the bad experience. I didnt appreciate being woken up at 7 in the morning by a child pitching a fit and the mother yelling at the child handling the situation poorly. This lasted a couple of hours. Overall, very disappointing experience especially for a hotel that supposedly boasts in a higher star rating.
