Excellent Hotel, beautiful design. Great rooms, and ecoxriendly as well. There is no location in Milan which is closer to the city center. We have been coming for years and will continue to do so!!

Sleek, modern hotel right in the heart of Milan! You can’t beat the location: the Duomo is steps away, great shopping and restaurants are right at your fingertips, and pretty much all of Milan is walkable from here. Two tips though. 1) Don’t bring a car, you won’t need one. And 2) While the rooms were nice, you won’t have much room to store things thanks to their swanky minimalist decor.

I travel around the world. Stay at many 4 and 5 star hotels and this hotel really tops a lot of them. 1. Great location. 2. Very cool ambiance. 3. Amazing staff. 4. It’s the little things. 5 did i mentioned the staff? They were really wonderful.

Funky hotel, in a good way, with an enviable location right next to the Galleria and Duomo. Rooms were small, but efficient with nice design touches. I especially liked the gold/bronzed metal covered bathroom. It felt as if all that metal would protect or seclude you from being located by any electronic means. Gym was small, but had everything needed. I didn't go to the bar, but it was happening.

Design but not always convenient.
Bedroom: big enough. Bathroom sink too low. Bath not easy at all to clean die to the material. I don't know what, but a petrol smelling is present. Like for any cheap Chinese product. Not great.
A message is here to prevent us to ask to change the towels too often but we have nothing to put those when wet...
Too cold even without the A/C.
The thing really cool was the massage chair. Ok not a great and expensive brand. But that was cool to use it after a too long day. That won't replace a real massage but it's nice to have and to test.
Bed is correct.
Breakfast area: a tiny place. Tables really low. Small things to seat. Lack of space. When served in the main small room don't take a place close to it or you'll be in the path of everyone.
Good quality of products. I'm used to more choices but that was fine for two days.

You can't see it in the pictures but most of the walls and equipment are black. The bathroom is all black. Not that common. But interesting.

The location is ideal as close to the Gallery and the Dormo.
But a bit noisy. People never sleeping. Then the trucks for delivery, cleaning and others.

Stayed here with my wife for two days, amazing hotel. Great location, literally next to the Duomo/square. Concierge is very helpful from giving recommendations to see the city off the beaten path to even upgrading our room and adding free breakfast when she found out we were on a baby moon.

Design hotel right in the city centre. Not according my taste as the room was too black for me, but haven't found any issue. Be aware there is a bar downstairs so it might be a little bit noisy.

Great designer hotel with cool rooms in the very center of Milan. Awesome location for seeing the must-see sights and of course the very best of shopping in the immediate vicinity. Hotel Cafe turned into fancy bar in the mate afternoon with DJ and tons of people. Slowest check-in and checkout I've experienced in a long time, and not the place if you look for peace and quiet.

Stayed at Straf hotel in Milan between May 31 and June 2.

Pros:
Hotel staff were efficient and accommodating.
Good location as it is near tourist attractions.

Cons:
Hotel room while artistic, is not well-designed; the room is painted black throughout making it looks extremely gloomy.
And because of the dark room, dust and dust mites are visible.
Housekeeping service needs improvement as room remains unkempt even after cleaning service.
Because the bathroom counter space is built at knee height, there’s a lot bending over when I needed to use things that are placed on it.

It's time to make a stand! Surely we live in an age now where a decent hairdryer shouldn't be hard to come by? A 4 star hotel shouldn't be providing their guests with a "Barbie doll" hairdryer that has 2 speeds!

Excellent modern hotel and bar. The bar was hopping on a Thursday night with a DJ blasting music out onto the street and the patio area.

Beautiful, ultra modern design hotel, located at steps of the Duomo. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Everything that is needed is there to enjoy a good stay at Milan.

Nice place full of young people, I stayed there for lunch and I enjoyed their carbonara with artichokes, the service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a hurry and I had time to speak with my colleagues

Stunning location. Somehow too hot in the room even in February...? I had to leave the windows open in 40°F weather all day to get the temps cool enough to sleep comfortably at night.

9

Very interesting design, but mostly made good by the staff who are simply excellent. The room was comfortable, but a few functional quirks do suggest form over function is the main design driver. Large comfortable bed. The breakfast is simple but good quality, with a good variety of choice (cereals, croissants, bread, bacon, eggs, Italian hams, cheese, fruit - there really is something for everyone. Recommended.

Incredible location just steps from the duomo. Comfortable trendy bar associated with the hotel next door. Service very helpful in arranging transportation and helping us with lost airline luggage. Included breakfast buffet style with nice tea and coffee options and great pastries. Also had a few hot items. Very modern concrete design in rooms and fascinating bathroom style. Very eco friendly so soaps and bath amenity are in bulk and refilled which I'm a big fan of environmentally. Recommend! DONT drive here, hard to find and no parking nearby so just taxi or train.

I had a great happy hour at this place. Great food and nice music and staff. Small but cosy location in Duomo. Happy to have discovered this place. I only tried the bar and the happy hour with unlimited buffet, but this place is also a hotel. There are two entrances, one for the hotel and one for the bar.

Great hotel, rooms are well equipped, location is tripple A and staff goes out of their way to create a friendly and warm experience. New favorite in town! Recommend one of the 6th floor suites - great. Thanks

Beautiful hotel with a fabulous location. It is literally next to the Duomo. Walk out the front door and you are only a 1-10 minute walk away from the most popular attractions in Milan.

The room is like a work of art. It's absolutely stunning. I wish my house looked half as good!

Only 4 stars because, just like a work of art, everything in the hotel looks amazing, but is impractical. All of the doors are "Norman Doors" ( looks like you should pull, but instead you need to push or vice versa), the electric outlets are hard to find, the faucet is hard to use and the trash is small and hidden. Once you learn where everything is and how it works, it's fine. Its a little frustrating at first though.

I would definitely stay here again

Straf is awesome, rooms are unusual and artsy, there's a Bluetooth speaker TV with premium channels a bar next door and it's right next to duomo. Milan is so hot right. Now but you would not know it the air con is perfect in the room. Would recommend.

This is a design hotel, and it shows. Clean lines, modern style. It's very Milano, the design centre of Italy (perhaps the world). I liked the look of the room, but style and function aren't always in sync. I had to climb under a table to find what is I think the only electrical outlet in the room to charge my electronic devices. But they do provide a Bluetooth speaker for guests to use. Some things were counter intuitive, where light switches are, for example. And the lovely rain style showerhead is strategically located so that it's impossible to take a complete shower without wetting your hair. There is a stylish bench and a matching Ottoman, but no chair. The location however is ideal if you want to shop or visit the Duomo. Wi-fi signal is good. Would prefer a connection that requires a password, but that's a quibble. Breakfast is pretty standard, soy milk is on offer for cereal and coffee. Fruit is fresh and good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Strategic location. Good room, with good size bathroom. It is not excellent because there is very limited support functions (small gym, no swimming pool, tiny breakfast space).

Modern, great location, nice breakfast included in the morning. Rooms were very modern, some with a massage chair. Noise from the street wasn't great but died down after 11.

Ambiente piacevole e chic

Oddly designed room. Very spartan in color and design. One wall of our room was deconstructed. With an infinished look that looked pretty crappie for a hotel room.

8

Nice, modern and clean hotel, if you're a tourist the location is perfect right next to the cathedral and close to all the shopping. The breakfast selection is small but actually one of the best I've had so far and I do a lot of traveling in my work. If you like the song Hallelujah - hallelujah, there's a karaoke bar or something nearby so you'll hear it at least 5-6 times a day from your room. For the hint immune, the rooms aren't too well audio isolated so I guess it's my one and only complaint as I stay here for business and enjoy peace and quiet after a long day. That said, I like this hotel and would be happy to return as a tourist.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and well layout. Quirky rooms but good fit out, not enough power points, especially near bed head for charging phone overnight. Noise from bar below can be a little loud.
