I've been coming here for over 20+ years now (as my Mom lives in town). Great hotel deals. Great place to bring the family, they have Kids Quest for the kids (so the parents can do what ever: $10.25 per hour (use room key and get 10% off also search Google for Kids Quest and you will find other deals you can use (free meal/$2 off per hour), and they have several restaurants and slots/table games. The strip is very expensive, the locals know where to go: this is the place if your looking for a great time and a good deal. If you are into seafood: definitely check out the Oyster Bar, it's fabulous. The Buffet is good food for the price, not great food, but it definitely will fill you up so you can go about your day/night.

I nice place to stay and the casino's a fun place to take your money. If that's what you're into. They couldn't find my cousins $50 pillow. But, who leaves a $50 pillow behind and what adult man brings a brand new $50 pillow on a cross country trip with him? Anyway, the room was clean, I did have one little incident around midnight one evening. I came up to my room and there's a homeless man sleeping in the back of the hallway. No biggie, I felt terrible but I called down to the desk and told them what was going on and they came up and brought him down with no incident. For me hotels are about the price and if that's right I'll be back again.

This is MY local Stations casino and I love it! It has everything and more. I love the food at the buffet and Oyster Bar. The property is always clean and the staff is great. Shout out to Russ at the center bar. His amazing cocktails pair perfectly with his witty personality! Keep up the great work Sunset.

Our family always loves going to Feast Buffet at Sunset Station, especially since we often get half-off coupons that makes it totally worth it. The buffet has real ice cream, not just soft serve, and the carving station's roast beef, ham and turkey are all quite good. I personally love the whole roasted garlic they serve in the Italian section, but I know not everyone will like peeling out the cloves by hand. All in all, it's a very affordable and satisfyingly filling place to eat! And be sure to tip properly!

We usually go to see a movie if anything. Have encountered only friendly, professional staff throughout the property. Great selection of places to eat when we want to grab something there before or after a movie. We have also attending a couple of concerts there and had a great experience. Great parking lot with lots of parking options for every area in the casino you seek.

I haven't visited there in years, but it is still a nice casino and the people who work there are down to Earth and friendly. The only disappointment is that they changed to uniforms dor the cocktail waitresses. I can remember when they were black shorts with boots and it looked tasteful, yet sexy. I don't know whose idea it was to change their uniforms, but I liked the old look better. But I still had a good experience at the casino and it is probably one of Station Casino's better properties, along with Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch.

We went to the movies. The theater was clean, the chairs that we used were not broken nor were they sticky with any unknown substance.
The only real bottleneck is the usual one at the concession stand. When it was my turn to be next the cashier closed his line and then I was last.
Just seems there's a better way to do that. Granted, this happens everywhere at the bank at the grocery store at the library. It's just as easy to say to your last customer, " I'm closed after you." It's been my experience that most people do very well with that. Other options would be a light just like the grocery stores.

Have visited and played at all the Station Properties. Sunset is large and spacious and conveniently located by the freeway. Entrance to parking and layout can be tricky if your not familiar with the area. Directional Signage needs to be more prominently placed. Rooms are nice and spacious and good value for the money. Locals like playing here rather than going to the strip because of the Location.

Loved the pool. Attendants were friendly and knowledgeable. Able to buy items we forgot to pack at the gift shop. The valet service was prompt and cheerful. Great movie theater and bowling for the kids. Across the street from a mall.

The Hotel's location is very convenient for shopping and dining. They also have a security guard near the entrance of the elevator to ensure safety. Their pool is beautiful, equipped with Cabanas and ice chests. I subtracted a point for the cold shower in the morning (all hot water was gone), and a point for the older, very uncomfortable beds. I would only stay here again if I brought my own roll up foam to place over their matress.

I had Sunday brunch with some friends this past weekend at the Feast Buffet. First, the pricing is strange with the casino card discount. We were initially told for 8 adults, a child, and a baby we could get the discounted rate with 2 cards. After one in our group got the second card we recounted and there were only 7 adults, and the children. This size party we were now told would need 4 cards to get the discounted price. The food and service were perfectly fine for our brunch.

I've been going to this casino for years and have always thoroughly enjoyed myself. Even when I lose money. I mostly play the tables and most of the dealers are awesome and make playing a fun experience. The restaurants are fairly priced and there is no shortage of choices, not to mention the buffet is huge. The steak house is a bit expensive but the food and service are incredible. They closed the Mexican restaurant and replaced it with a fast food type place. I was really bummed about that. They also have a really nice theater and bowling alley so there is plenty to do. Oh, they also have a "day care" be that will watch your kids while you lose their college funds.

Sunset station is a great casino for locals. I've lived here my whole life, and sunset station is one of the best outside the strip. The movie theater has the large recliner seats, which is a must have for me in this day and age. The buffet never disappoints, though I've never tried the other dining options. I love the arcade & the bowling alley... I can't gamble... yet! But I'm sure one of my first times will be at this staple of my childhood. Overall I'd say it's not necessarily worth the trip out if you are staying on the strip, but for locals or people in hotels nearby, sunset station is a great place to go.

We love Sunset Station (and other Station Casinos). The hotels are off the strip, but still close to all that action. Prices are a fraction of what The Strip hotels typically charge. Plus, great restaurants, "Kids Quest" child care is available. A great bowling alley, movie theater, and of course a casino. Better than The Strip in my opinion.

Sunset Station is the perfect neighborhood casino. There's something for everyone: adults, teens, kids, and seniors! It's our family go to place for entertainment, food, and fun. The new theaters with the easy chair seating are fantastic! My husband and I love having a fancy dinner at the steak house, which is reminiscent of old Vegas. When we have family in town, Sunset Station is their favorite as well. Grandma and Grandpa love all the senior specials they offer! Their outdoor concert venue is great, we've enjoyed lots of country western shows there!

The feast buffet is very delicious my family and I can go for just $30. The casino is expansive and I enjoy the craps table and keno. Keno is available at the buffet during dinner. The bowling zone is a ton of fun. A kid playground area that my son overly enjoys. Kids arcade too with lots of fun games. Movie theater next to arcade has good movies, chairs and snacks.

Room was supposed to be remodeled but the shower had rust and drains we're slow to drain. Movie theater had luxury seating. And I would recommend the oyster bar. It was amazing! The oysters and shrimp cocktail was delicious. I got the crab boil and my husband got a seafood pasta special. We will definitely eat here again!

This place is great. The staff are very approachable, the environment is so lovely and welcoming, and everyone in league is funny and supportive. I come here as a supporter of a few league members and have zero complaints. The next time you're in the area on a Tuesday night, stop by and be apart of a fun environment that has great staff and great people. You will not be disappointed.

Old school.....need to nice...they need to get better air circulations. We had a great time @ the Foodie Fest. This is the 3rd Stay in Casino built after the Palace Station then the Boulder Station. Its was ahead if it time when new. Great local spot for the South Vegas community. Go see. Have some fun. Staff is kind and friendly Rooms are clean and reasonable.

Great place to stay, gamble, eat and play.... Great location with easy freeway access and an In and Out right across the street. Great option outside the strip. Only 15 min drive to anywhere, $20 Uber ride to the strip... but you might not leave. I always want to give Sunset Station a 5 star review... They're so close.... If you're looking for a bit more, just head to Green Valley Ranch, owned by the same family. They obviously have their favorite properties... It's too bad Sunset Station isn't one of them... So much potential to be amazing... but a GREAT neighborhood casino. Definitely check it out.

A nice hotel that's away from the strip. It's a little more peaceful of a place than downtown Vegas and the prices are lower as well. Though when the weekend comes it gets pretty packed. The movie theatre is the most comfortable in the area. There's a daycare for kids, and a small arcade. I come here to bowl when I get bored. Fun place the rooms are nice, wish their pool was indoors as well as outdoors, can't find the Jacuzzi.

Lots of amenities for the price. Not a 5 star resort but you can get a room comped if you play blackjack on a $25 table for 1/2 hr. I was able to get a suite for playing blackjack and craps. Hotel has a good buffet for low prices, the I oyster bar is a great place for a date. Good food prepared right in front of you and the seafood is awesome. Sports book has a huge viewing area and plenty of windows to place bets..they have hot dogs for a buck during games.

The first impression is this is a nice place. Then we go on and start getting to know the employees and we think all the more of this hotel. It has recently been remodeled and it is clean and comfortable. The only thing I really miss is a coffee pot for coffee first thing in the morning. I will be coming back. My stay this time was for 7 nights.

The rooms are very nice. Very spacious and clean. I love ordering the room service. It comes from the diner. They are always fast and it taste amazing! I think their diner is better than the buffet. I think the buffer is lacking and we'vee gotten sick the past few times we've been. Other than that the casino is nice. Definitely a casino you can win at Very nice staff.

We went for a Monster Jam viewing party. Set up was low key with big screens and comfortable seating. (Club Madrid) Expected a bit more as advertised as "party" but it was just a video playing on screen with no staff interaction. Got pizza from a restaurant inside and carried to our table to watch. Cannot say much else as only visited the viewing area. Very beautiful glass mosaic inside. Parking was easy, free, and convenient.

Stayed one night in February. The hotel room held a totally fine standard, the 24/7 cafe had flavorful breakfast food and a attentive server, casino was just as a hotel casino on the strip but less crowded and inexpensive for evenings entertainment. Only thing was the buffet, greasy and few vegetarian options, but it was expected. You can do with out the buffeet. Nevertheless, my partner and I was positively surprised by the great value we got for our bucks.

Sunset Station is a place where you can do almost any or everything. And do it in your time. The atmosphere is only Unique by being where you are, when you are. You can't find another casino that owns it like the Sunset.
Not even by another Stations casino.
I have enjoyed almost every comfort at the Sunset, and hands down, betting you're bottom dollar on the Sports Book is a winner every time. Expansive and comfortable in a homey way, yet you are surrounded by technology that is state of the art. Sunset is to me my
"second home".' If you find yourself getting to the point of " tummy thunder", there is a food court with plenty of you're favorite tastes , open until ? There is to much for me to tell in this short speech and you should know that you will want, for not, at the Sunset Station.

I mainly go to Sunset Station to see movies. They are regal, which means you can gain rewards points by using your regal card and the seats are all recliner seats. Its not as crowded as other movie theaters nearby with the same seats. The theater is always clean and the employees have always been really nice. The only problem I have with Sunset Station for movies is that if there are only handicap seats left and the movie has already started, they will not sell the handicap seats, no matter how long the movie has been playing. They would rather take a loss, which seems a bit strange.

The movie theater is awesome because it has luxury seating. The bowling alley has so many lanes. Bonus: If you go to the movies keep your ticket stub and you can bowl one game for free, you just need to pay for your bowling shoes. Buffet is decent for the low price. Get the food they cook fresh, like stir fry and burgers.

Sunset Station is a great locals hangout. The casino is large with plenty of game options, and friendly staff. It is kept really clean, and they do not pump that creepy perfume into the air like on the strip. The food is good with a variety of options to choose from. Plus the ceilings are awesome, painted like the sky and beautiful stained glass art. Parking is free and close to lots of shopping and not too far from the strip action. I have never seen the bathrooms disgusting like the strip either, which I appreciate. Not sure about the hotel rooms as I am a local, but I'm sure they are decent. A definite fun place to visit.

This is real Vegas hotel. Not just a hotel in Vegas. The rooms are comfortable. But note there is no coffee makers! Starbucks is right downstairs in the lobby. Restaurants are cheap. The slots are lucky, and the BINGO room is so fun.

Nice casino property. Has a movie theater with reclining seats and the ability to purchase and reserve those seats before actually going to the theater. Especially useful for new releases.
Also features a Fatburger, Ben N Jerry's and a pizza place, whose name escapes me, but is actually pretty good. There's also the Oyster Bar, which is popular but not my thing and a formal Italian restaurant with good food and fair prices.
Add in the bowling alley and Sunset Station has plenty to do besides gambling.
Have never stayed in the hotel so I can't comment on that but judging from the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property I'm sure they are more than adequate.

Went bowling here on Christmas Day. Service was great, great atmosphere, and food was good as well. We had chicken wings and pizza. The wings are fried and crispy, not fatty. A little small but really good. We had a great time, I would go again.

I always enjoy coming to this casino. It's not small but not so big that you get lost in it. All of the restaurants are very good and reasonably priced. The bar locations are unique and quaint. The Regal Cinemas inside has reclining seats and is much cleaner than many other theaters. There is almost always something happening here such as a concert or a special event either indoors or out. Parking isn't usually too bad maybe a little heavy on the weekends. All in all I very much enjoy coming to this casino for food, drinks, games, movies and other entertainment.

We went to Sunset Station for lunch at the buffet and to play some casino games. The hotel wasn't busy, it was a Tuesday after all, so we basically went right in to the buffet. The food was good, everything was full and fresh. The casino has lots of options, new games, old games, good ole video poker. We had fun and will be back.

This is a friendly, clean and welcoming establishment. I love the variety of slot machines and they pay fairly well. The facility has a kids play area for drop off, movie theater, and a bowling alley. Numerous fast food options such as subway, Ben and Jerry's and Fat Burger. They have a sit down dining area and a large buffet. Players club is helpful and point system is fair. I highly recommend this cadino and hotel.

Sunset Station Casino is one of our larger 'local' casinos. Very nice atmosphere, with entertainment for the whole family! They have a very diverse full casino! If you want to make it a family night, there a large, clean and modern movie theater, arcade center and they even have a bowling alley for your whole family, class get-togethers it even your league can play! They keep the entire casino extremely clean, throughout! If you make a smart and economical choice to stay, for the business trip, family vacation or even a romantic get-away, their rooms are a very nice choice! The pool is nicely set outside along an Amphitheatre, where summer concerts are held throughout the year! And of course the Bingo Hall is always a fun choice, just in case your wanting a slower, yet loads of fun, pace!

Rooms are comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was good.
One bad experience: The cafe waiting staff never came to our table last night. We were seated by the receptionist and then sat waiting to order but the waiter never came. He came to the table next to us and we tried to get his attention but he ignored us. Finally I walked over to him and asked if someone was assigned to the table. He said he would find our waiter and left. We waited quite a while and then decided to leave.

The casino was great. It had a wide variety of slots. The table games pit was a bit small but also had a good variety of games. The only bad thing on the casino floor is that the gift shop closes at midnight during the weeknights.

Along with the early closing of the gift shift, the other (and main) reason for my three-star rating is the air conditioning in my room. As far as I could tell, the unit was working fine; except that it would not cool below 70 degrees. Thankfully I did not stay at this property during the summer months.

I only played in the Casino and I like this place. Drinks are very very reasonable priced, especially if you gamble (Free). But, even if you don't gamble, during Football Season they have a special for 5 beers for $8. That is a fabulous price. All bartenders are nice and professional. Staff are great. I wish the music was a bit louder and i wish the casino was a bit more livelier.

Great area near a very nice Galleria mall..several places to eat, large sports book. Bowling lanes very nice great for kids. It's a little dark in the casino area but so much to do

They give you a hard time to prove who you are, if you take a coupon for the buffet!.. They ask for 3 forms of I.D., & make you feel like your a criminal or something! ..my sister & I almost walked out!.... But yes.. The food was good.. Slot machines are pretty fixed, so that you don't win much!... Had fun with my sister, but was disappointed by the stinginess of the place...( workers at buffet restaurant, 1 in particular was rude..The cashier was like a Nazi guard!..)... What's up with that!?.. Wouldn't go back, unless they fixed their attitude towards their visitor's! ...

They don't give very many comps and aren't very loyal to locals which are their main customers. Their players club rewards aren't all that great either. Their slots aren't very loose and I've ran into plenty rude employees. The best/nicest employees work at the rewards center, of course, because they're usually the first point of customer contact.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times.
The rooms are great. Comfy and clean.
No refrigerator in room so that's a bummer.
Ask for a lower room because the higher ones on one side of the hotel can be loud due to incoming airplanes.
The buffet is fantastic and at a great price.
There are various restaurants and a GREAT movie theater in this facility.
Great gaming machines to choose from.
NICE pool area but not open very late and since it's outdoor it isn't open year round.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms have been renovated with very comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are a little worn.
The service is excellent and very efficient. Situated away from the strip, but nearby there is a large mall.
The hotel is part of the Sunset Station Casino Resort - has several restaurants, bars, casino.
Excellent choice for both business trips and family holidays.

Sunset Station is our go to place in the neighborhood when we want a night out. As clean and as nice as an off strip can be while still retaining a touch of the weathered desperation that so many American "Casinos" make their own. The buffet is classic and will not disappoint the stereotypical imagery one comes to expect.
Security is a little too in force but what can that hurt in post 9/11 America?
The high points are the recently renovated guest quarters that are appealing, comfortable and contemporary. And, everything works.
What's not to like?

Truly a local haunt, not the sexy sunset strip kind of place, but definitely a place to consider if you are planning a trip to vegas. They have something for everyone ...except a spa. I was there for a conference and I found the rooms well maintained and comfortable. My own accommodations were updated, clean and comfortable. Would stay there again. Caution to travelers who have never been to a casino resort...you cannot avoid the smokers every casino allows smoking.

I've been going time Sunset since the beginning of August due to the proximity to my home. I've only had experience with the casino and all that it entails and I must say it's spot on when it comes to providing a guest driven casino experience.
They offer hotel accommodations, movie theatre, arcade, sports booking, bingo, live keno and a wealth and variety of slots and table games.
The layout is vast and well designed. I've been there at least 10 times this month and have yet to see it all. In the beginning, being unfamiliar with the layout i often times needed assistance. From the janitorial services to the supervisory gaming hosts I've been tested with nothing but dignity and respect.
Still haven't been a jackpot winner but I enjoy trying! Great food, family fun and entertainment.

When I went to Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, I just went for the movies, bowling, and playing Blackjack. The atmosphere there is what I would prefer over the atmosphere on the Strip when I'm just trying to have a relaxing day. The tables can go as low as $3, so your games May last longer with just $20. The movie theater hustles nice comfy reclining seats and a modest selection of alcohol. The bowling alley was also a great size. The tickets to the movies ges you one free game at the bowling alley. I would recommend this casino.

This was my first time visiting Sunset Station, but it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the price of the buffet. It was very reasonable and affordable. The selection of the food was great as well. I went to the bowling alley at Sunset Station and it was pretty cool since it was black light bowling. Seems like I enjoyed it more as a teen, but I had fun with my friends. Some of the videos they showed were inappropriate for many of the children, so I wouldn't bring any child under maybe 10, but this was also at 930pm, so my kid would have been asleep at that age. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries and it was really good! They used a good thick cut bacon and the fries were made to order. There were a lot of younger kids there, so it isnvt a place I would frequent, but I don't mind every now and then and I am sure it isn't like this when school is in.

Went bowling. Lanes were a little crowded. They were running a special. 2 games for 5 people for $25. Bar wasn't open but we were able to get a bucket of beers from outside the alley for the table. Nachos were somewhat blah. Would go again. It was fun.

most of the restaurants are good, and the kids quest is an awesome place for the kids to go have fun while the parents do their own thing. they have a nice bowling alley as well. hotel rooms are your basic room, nothing special there. buffet is horrible, got food poisoning last time we ate there. overall not a bad place but not the best either. Kids Quest is probably the biggest stand out for us.

Sunday brunch at Sunset Station was a delight! Better, by far, than at Boulder Station. Wait staff was attentive, happy, eager to please. We were there with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson who were only in town for about 3 hours. We were able to really enjoy our visit with them & a fantastic breakfast too!!

We had such a great time on a recent visit at Sunset Station. We had forgotten our invite number for a stay and when we were dropping a friend off at the airport decided that it would be pleasant to stay the evening before the drive back home.

We went to the front desk to inquire and the people there were extremely helpful in providing us with a Casino Host number to get approval and that all happened in 15 minutes. We stayed the night, had breakfast and toddled off to home with some change left over from our gambling.

This is a very friendly casino which has been updated in every way. The rooms were furnished in modern style. The restaurant was remodeled with the customer in mind and the wait staff was super friendly and very prompt with great food. We had steaks which had us remarking how could they do this at this cost and we have to get the recipes.

All in all, we have kept this as our favorite casino facility in Las Vegas area. Would not hesitate telling our friends and neighbors go and have fun . It does not cost an arm and a leg!

We wanted to stay at a place that was away from The Strip but close enough to Thomas and Mack and offer us things to do with our children. It has a Kids Quest (WIN!) A movie theater, bowling alley and arcade. It was exactly what we needed. We are really enjoying our stay.

Bowling for a work function, great time. Food was good but didn't inform us that it was ready. We were waiting for it to come or to be told it was ready. 20 mins later we went to get it and it had been waiting. Communication on that process would have been nice. Other than that, it was good.

The staff is awesome. The gamble is not for the weak of heart. If you like losing and gimmicks this is the place. on the other hand. The food is great. Has a place to watch your kids while you drink and gamble. the atmosphere is very convincing yet the return very depressing. Better off to hit Dottys or a small convenient store if you want a real chance at leaving a winner.

Only stayed one night but the amenities I did use were great. Pool is beautiful with lots of chairs and lifeguards on duty, towels readily available. Casino was nice, broke even. Not on the strip but walking distance to walmart, plenty of restaurants. Hotel has a movie theatre and bowling alley.

This hotel isn't on the Strip, but it's nice! The buffet was great. The casino was fun. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice option if you want to get away from the crowded Strip.

Three waitresses had passed before getting a drink. Also I overheard people sitting at a table in the bar remarking about the waitress had not come by even once. We had to goto the bar to get drinks which as a resident here I feel we should have better service. Maybe hiring more astute waitresses would be beneficial.

I visit here often. All of the restaurants have excellent food at great prices. Special deals in the Cafe for Players Rewards Card holders (free to sign up for a card) and great rewards like free dining, free gifts and free entertainment for using your card on gaming if local, free room stays and more if you are from out of town. Special perks for Seniors on Wednesday. Excellent bars with live entertainment, indoor and summer outdoor concerts, food court, bowling and primo movie theaters. Special events hosted here such as the Foodie Fest. The staff is friendly and makes both locals and out of town guests feel welcome. Lots of FREE PARKING! A big deal since so many hotels & casinos are now charging exorbitant rates for parking. One of my very favorite places to go!

Free WiFi is awesome. Pam Ramos the cocktail waitress is fantastic and the overall variety of gaming to choose from is incredible. The various food outlets make eating easy and fast. Movies, Starbucks and even a kids quest on property leaving you no excuse.......It's time to gamble!

Local and a regular there. Nice sized sports book. On football Sundays they play the games in their theater and its a good spot to catch the action for free. We like going to the movies and having dinner at the casino. It's so convenient. Great selection of different priced food options. And the theater has lay back reserved seating so that's a bonus.

Had a blast at the bowling center the other night. Service was good staff there is very friendly and helpful. A little Smokey by the bar area. But what do you expect? It is in a casino.

Took my family bowling. They have a lot of lanes, and the prices for weekends are okay. Shoes were very clean, as were the tables and alleys. Everything seemed well kept. During our second game, they switched to cosmic bowling, which is fun but it's dark so it's harder to watch small children. Overall, we had a great time. My only complaint is that the bowling center seems light staffed, so when our ball return malfunctioned, we had to wait quite some time before it was fixed.

Depends upon what you're looking for. If you want slick glamour, this won't be your place. But if you're looking for decent accommodations at a good price, you might consider this place. Nothing special, mind you....just pretty good. I stay here because I have a client near Henderson, and it's very convenient.

We booked a standard room for the weekend. They oversold rooms and end up putting green us in a king suite for the same time frame. Nice! Played some card games and to most of the dealers are great. The pit bosses are cool as well. I asked a deck of cards, they gave me a BOX of cards :-) can't say I've broken even yet, but the dealers and bosses make it worthwhile. Even the cocktail waitress was very dependable l.

Great spot for locals and travelers alike. Feast buffet is affordable and delicious. Restaurants are terrific also. Awesome theater and bowling alley inside hotel/casino! Generous point multiplier days!

This is my favorite locals casino! Sunset has a comfortable atmosphere and overall nice people. The games have a decent payout overall, but they keep taking out my favorites to put in flashier slots :-(. The buffet is way over crowded at almost all times now and the variety doesn't change much. The kids love Kids Quest though. There are great games and play areas, but the associates there could be a bit more attentive due to some nasty children that frequent. Overall a decent, comfy, locals casino!

Went to breakfast at the cafe. There was a wait as expected. The wait turned out to be less time than was told to my wife and I up front which was a good thing. The service however was slow and lacking. We saw our server a total of 6 times. 3 of those times was purely to drop items off. Our check was dropped very early into our meal with no offer or opportunity to get deserts. We watched tables get sat after us and then had their order taken first. Our server didn't even get the drink order for the others that were with us before he asked them for their food order. The server was visibly frustrated with the way that he was getting sat with tables. Extra waiter/waitress support would have made the experience for myself and all other customers better.

The room was very nice and it was already he did when we walked in as the day was very cold and that was very nice to walk into. However, we paid for a late checkout at 4 p.m. knowing we would not be in until the wee hours of the morning and wanted to sleep in. We are awake 2 times around the 12:30 p.m. hour by housekeeping staff pounding on our door like they were the police even though we had a do not disturb sign on door handle. This ruined our entire stay we did not get to sleep as late as we wanted to and it's BS that we paid for a late check-out and ended up getting up early anyways. Unless staff at the front desk and housekeeping improve their communication between each other we will not be staying here again! As locals that's very disappointing as we have stated almost every other Station Casino property and this is the only one that had this event occur

Sunset station is probably the best station casino. I looks very clean and spacious. The building does not feel old. We went for dinner to the Oyster bar which was excellent. It was very similar to the Oyster bar at palace station. Parking was easy and plentiful.

Nice hotel and casino. Rooms were very recently refurbished, nice pool and security at the elevator. We stay there several times a year when visiting friends in the area.

Went to Sunset Station for a movie at their Regal Cinema. Movie was great and the theater had been remodeled with the electric recliners. Very nice.

Went to the cafe for a bite to eat after. The hostess cashier was pretty rude and kept complaining about working alone. The food was ok, the desserts were terrible. A horrible dry excuse for a brownie followed by an equally terrible slice of chocolate cake that the rude lady told us they didn't even have when we ordered the brownie. Will not go to that restaurant again, but the theater was good.

Great place to stay if you are in Vegas for business. Seminar cellar, a steak house within the sunset station, is great. It's a bit more mellow than the strip or downtown casinos are, but it's clean. More importantly it's easy in and out.

Very nice hotel, excellent room rate. Casino was bigger than expected. Bowling alley and movie theater were very nice too. Highly recommend this place. Food was good and reasonably priced. Great alternative to the strip!

This is a tough one. This hotel has so many plusses but one BIG minus. The carpet that leads to the elevators to your room smell so badly of chemical cleaner it's borderline nauseating. When you sit in the Cafe, the smell wafts in and ruins your meal. Having said that...the rooms are newly remodeled and fabulous! The staff are kind and couteous...shout out to Kourtney in registration. The buttermilk pancakes are awesome and the musical guests not bad. Good parking, well lit, felt safe staying alone.

It's nicer then Boulder and crappier then Green Valley. Its that happy medium that many people find comfortable. It has good food and drink specials in its restaurants and bowling is always good. Over all a great casino.

The food at the buffet was fine, but the service was not there. The staff was very "casual" and very friendly toward each other, and not concentrating on their duties. My dirty dishes sat on the table for the longest time with wait staff walking by 15-20 times ignoring what's on the table.

We got two rooms during the labor day weekend... we paid 4 times the regular price..but still decided to give it a try... rooms are ok but the temperature in the rooms were very hot.. the ac hardly gets the room cool.. it felt more like just the fan on.. .. very disappointed for being our first time

Our room was not soundproofed at all we heard the TV & conversations in both rooms on either sad, as well as the hall. The casino slots were disappointing, in that none of the newer, story-type slots could be found. The pool closed at 9, so didn't ever get a chance to swim, after sightseeing all day, then dinner. There was a 90 min wait for Cabo restaurant, even though no one was waiting. The food at Feast was not worth the money. Biscuits were hard, & eggs, pancakes, etc, we're cold. We have family who've been to Feast & warned us, but we thought it was a one time thing. It wasn't. With that, the staff was very friendly and helpful, but I don't think I'd stay there again.

Used priceline to reserve this and paid $60 but got a huge suite like hotel room. It was awesome and the best Priceline deal we had ever gotten.

Maybe the $60 we paid was "expensive" for the area, who knows, but we were happy with our room.

Sunset Station Casino can't say many bad things about them. If you go to the Italian restaurant make sure you get the correct change back I was scammed a dollar fifty I did not mention it to anyone but next time I will.

It's a great hotel in my opinion because it has the kid area. I take my little baby cousins and sister here all the time, most places don't have this feature which makes this stand out a lot.

The movie theater is awesome! Seats are comfy and you can move it to your liking with the buttons on the right of your chair.

Cheers!
