Convenient location to everything. Ample parking. Clean rooms, decent staff. I would stay there again.

The rooms were fine enough. Area was close to wine trails so that was definitely nice. The bathrooms were pretty rough though. Peeling floor mat in the tub, wish I would have brought flipflops.

The room was pretty clean old soap from the last occupant was still there along with the shampoo but the bathroom itself was clean or at least seemed clean. Room was clean the previous occupants bill was still folded up on the table but not a big deal. Staff is always extremely friendly and you can't beat the location

Check in was super quick and the same with check out. They had a nice waffle maker that was quite good.

A fine hotel - easily accessible and close to the Warren Dunes, and walking distance to the Sawyer main street. The room was comfortable, if a touch dated - not that it bothered us. Pool and fitness center are available, and had a decent breakfast in the lobby. Would recommend!

Staying in town for a friend's wedding and I love how close the super 8 is to the dunes and everything in sawyer/three oaks/Bridgman. Great location but the hotel itself doesn't do much more than give you a place to sleep. You can work out or swim here but spent most of our time out.

One of the best Super 8s I've ever stayed at. I loved being so close to the local Greenbush Brewery (their pizza is fantastic).

The hotel stinks and had molds in the room but it was cheap so we couldn't complain. Staff were friendly and seemed to do everything from reception to maintenance to house keeping. Very hardworking kids!

Stayed here to attend a funeral in Sawyer. Good if you just want a place to sleep and a quick breakfast. Room 101 was clean and decently comfortable, but smaller than our other relative's rooms. Close to the side entrance which was convenient for our dog. The shower water pressure was a light rain while the faucet poured out at the same time. The hallway by the door, stairwell, and entire third floor wreaked of marijuana for the 3 days we were there. The water has a strong chlorine smell so we tried to get bottled water from the vending machines to drink instead. The water was out so we tried for lemonade but diet Pepsi came out instead. No one was at the front desk to ask if they could exchange anything. Fortunately, Family Dollar was open right across the street. The price was right though, because you get what you pay for.

If you need a bed with a light that turns off, this is fine. If you need a well functioning shower and amenities that are better than basic soap, look up the road a bit, but you'll pay more. All said, it's safe, it's clean enough, it is what it is.

The room was clean and does everything a discount/budget hotel should do for a guest. Fridge, microwave and decent TV in the room. Pool was out of order and front desk staff are mostly missing from behind the desk. Their reservation service is completely broken on another note.

Fair price for what you get. The room was a good size, fairly large. Staff was friendly.

I give this a 4 not because it's so great, but because it was better than I expected it to be. Which is great when going to a budget hotel. Room was clean with newer items. Had microwave, fridge and coffee maker as well. Pool was also clean and nice. Free breakfast had waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, cereal, toast, yogurt, bananas, coffee, juice, coco....all good. We would stay again for the price and location. Only complaints....hair dryer was broken and we wished pool stayed open longer.

Clean rooms, nice service - our AC went out and the front desk promptly put us in another room. Beds comfortable, basic amenities, good for a couple nights as needed. Recommend.

Good location, definitely not a bad place, few broken or not so clean things. Last time I was there I found a used up bottle of anal lube from the lions den down the road by the ashtray outside lol. But normally quite comfortable beds so so shower, staff OK most the time. Normally not very full. Good places to eat all around you.

A little expensive for not the greatest room but definitely conveniently placed

Stayed at super 8 in sawyer michigan. Our room was 2 doubles in accessible room. Room was clean , we had plenty of towels and bathroom essentials. The only complaint would be that the refrigerator in our room did not get very cold. We had to out our drinks in the freezer and when we took them out in the morning they weren't even frozen. We were going to get breakfast there, but the selections were only 2 cold cereals and pre packaged Danish. Ok accommodations, most likely we will return.

Decent Super 8, the staff makes it better though. Will stay here again.

Very peaceful outside. By the interstate, but clean and peaceful. Located by a gas station and store which made it convenient if we needed to get anything as well as located by some really good local food. They have both refrigerator and microwave in the rooms which was a big plus. The next morning we went and got the complimentary breakfast, nothing big and fancy but some of the basics; toast, waffle, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs. During breakfast I believe the owner or the manager came to greet us and asked how our stay was and was very friendly. All the staff was very friendly. One of my favorite things was this Super 8 had Veteran Parking. That to me means so much, and they will def get my business again!

Clean, well cared for property. Will stay again.

Good motel within walking distance of downtown Sawyer (small village) and trucker stop gas station. Easy access to the freeway. Nothing notable other than being a good, inexpensive place to stay overnight.

Mini fridge and a microwave in the room? Not bad for a Super 8. We didn't mess with the indoor pool or the provided breakfast, but the rooms were clean and the beds were acceptable. But know in advance that there are no bars or restaurants (except a combination Taco Bell/Pizza Hut building into a TA gas station) anywhere close to this place.

It was ok just the elevayor sounded unsafe

Good rooms but they have many maintenance problems. Good overall and the employees where nice.

Clean rooms, pool looked nice but didn't have the opportunity to use it. Staff was pleasant and helpful about pointing out great places to visit in the nearby areas.

Unfortunately, our jacuzzi room stunk and we had to switch rooms. The next room we realized wasn't cooling off, the AC compressor wasn't coming on. Had to move again. For a room where discounts weren't offered this wasn't a good time.
BUT, the next morning I told the manager what happened. He acted genuinely concerned and wrote down what I was saying Then he gave us a 10% refund on our room. To me, he made it right.

Pretty good motel for the price. Bed was comfy, room was nice. A walk away from a great restaurant/Brewery. (GreenBush). The pool should be updated severely. Other than that it was not a bad stay. Was nice to get out of Chicago for a night!

Hotel is older and difficult to maintain but wasn't.
Staff was so professional and courteous that we will definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
