We arrived and immediately appreciated the ambiance. it was warm and cozy, but with plenty of space for our large group to spread out. in this restaurant kids are enjoyed alot and the crayons, papers on the tables for them to color. the restaurant's entrance is wheelchair ♿ accessible for old people

The intricate designing and details of this hotel are completely mesmerising. It’s a little pricey but if you can afford it, I would totally recommend you to spend the night. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I felt at home during my stay.

Taj Deccan has been our choice every time we come to Hyderabad. It is definitely due for a overhaul renovation which I believe they are just about starting to do. The best thing about this property is it’s staff. They have an awesome staff, starting from the doorman, bellboys, front desk reception, the staff at the restaurant etc. The service with a smile seems to be embedded in the staff. They are the most courteous staff I’ve come across and that is the main reason why we always return to this property.

Nice place to stay at a very reasonable tariff. Excellent morning breakfast. You can feel the wood and heavy vineer in rooms. Well maintained despite being old property. I guess Hyderabad otherwise is also reasonable place for hotels.

One of the 5 Taj properties in Hyderabad. This one is a 5 star property. A well maintained hotel. Rooms are good but the aging is started showing off. Swimming pool and gym are good.
Breakfast spread could have been better. I guess it is concentrated more on to non indian crowd which the hotel has in decent numbers.

Lovely place that provides the outstanding Taj hospitality, lovely rooms that are spacious and clean. Lovely traditional furniture and decor but then I love traditional. Lots of greenery and open grounds for a break from city crowds.

The room was really good and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast buffet spreads huge. Had so much offering that we could not indulge in all. Staffs were extremely polite. Enjoyed my stay there. Great ambience and good food. Went there as part of a group from our Team. Service was very good. Choice of menu was good too. We all had a good time. Hotel is located at very good locality. On arrival you will receive a signature TAJ warm welcome. Rooms are large and maintained nicely. Very comfortable beds. Cleanliness is very well maintained. Food is great. Staff is very attentive and supportive.

The hotel is at a very prime location in the city. The service is good. The rooms are also nice, but could use a little more attention to detail from the housekeeping management.

Edit: The management responded to this review very promptly and painted the bathroom in our absence. Extremely impressed by the attention to customer satisfaction.

Its a beautiful hotel in the prime location. I had breakfast and lunch there. breakfast is nice and lunch is not bad. Good Ambience. But the tables and chairs in the conference. Rooms are age old. Nails coming out of them.

We had a team party.... the place is calm and we'll maintained. We had our party in Syn grill n bar. In starters we liked fish, sushi(prawn) and rolls. Buffet was set up outside and the spread was good. Live counter was amazing and fresh mango rasmalai was good.

Taj Deccan high is famous and one of the oldest hotels in Hyderabad it is near by other Taj hotels in that area. Located in Banjara hills main road, easily accessible to all parts of the side. Attended a business event here where the Banquets are very pleasant and food is great.

We booked the Deluxe suite and it was upgraded to the Presidential Suite free of cost. The rooms vere vast and the whole experience was luxurious. The only gripe was there were no health faucets in the bathrooms. Breakfast could be tad better. Other than these the experience is top notch.

Visited Syn with colleagues and guests. The restaurant is virtually empty yet the service is slow and at times non existent. It's mostly one experienced person assisted by a bunch of ametuers. However the food, especially the vegetarian fare is pretty good. Limited options for dessert. Overall, a nice and cosy place with inadequate service. If you are accustomed to waiting and have loads of patience, give it a try....

Nice hotel and affordable. Most staff are very nice, attentive and also spoil you a bit but the staff at front office is too pre occupied at all times with some papers.

More number of wallet parking staff to park your car in no time.
Easy to locate hotel while driving, the hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality.
Buffet dinner menu had lot of items. Enjoyed the salads and deserts.
Overall experience was awesome.

As always, excellent service and very comfortable stay. It is always a pleasure staying at any Taj property. Only problem was with the bathroom. Needs to be remodelled to prevent bath water from flooding the whole bathroom.

I visited Taj Deccan Hyderabad on Oct 2017. Its located nearby Airport in the heart of the city. Service provided by Staff and full team was the best in all my hotel history.
Food quality was very good.
Rooms are very spacious with many facilities.
Some events/concerts also happen in the evening.
Free Breakfast depends on what package you book.
Free Wi-Fi till you check out.
Mostly rooms had the best Wardrobe, fridge, Snack items and Alcohol.
Cleanliness is awesome.
Its a quiet place.
I give 5 stars.

It's a very nice Five Star Hotel. Most I love about this hotel is the environment. There was beautiful garden and also you can listen to beautiful live performance by the singer. The melodious music would take you to the heaven.

This premium hotel hosts many exhibition and sale under Ultimate destination of shopping. Ofcourse this place is a fabulous and very well maintained decorum, staff. Pricey rooms, easy to notice from the normal traffic. Check out the ongoing sale picture.

Very nice place to stay with family, open spaces Are enough in the property which you don't get in new large hotels ,Deccan has large Garden on the pool side good restaurants , food quality is also very good. Chefs are good and supportive in terms of customize food for small kids.. over all good experience and lived up to TAj brand

Rooms were decent. But the Buffet priced at 1500/- was bad as compared to the pricing. While checking-in, the lady at reception didn't seem hospitable. Overall experience was less than Okay

Pleasant place to board in. The lobby was good. Pool was also big enough for 30/40 people. Had black coffee at the pool side and it was made perfectly. Expensive but worth it. Just been only to arena coffeeshop for a business meet, never visited the hotel or booked a room.

Long way to go to reach the high standards of Taj group, it's a property of GVK resorts. Old yellowish towels, not much facilities in the rooms, elderly dark staff , many of them have poor personality, understanding levels lower than expected. Needs urgent attention by top management. My first stay!!!

Went to have sushi...it was more of an Indianised version...too much rice and the fish too was refrigerated one...no freshness.. exorbitant pricing.. look for a better place to enjoy sushi

One of the big and spacious hotel in Hyderabad. Once I visited to attend an educational fair. The staff behaviour found good. Spacious parking area with good gardening.

Good place for travellers as it is centrally located. The food menu is wide and tasty and packages are very attractive.

I actually visited the hotel for just an expo so I didn't get a chance to look over the hotel we were given a hall for all the needs of the expo ,but the hall we very spacious, it easily accommodated over 200 students. The hall was all good, air conditioned with some sweet perfume smelling around. Overall I had a very good opinion about the hotel.

I have been only to banquet hall for evening party. Classic place. Good service. One time visit.

Taj Deccan has strong brand name because it's standing strong for last 25 years.
Although it's 3 floor hotel and bit noise because the coffee shop is just in the centre and all the rooms are around it.
You might smell lot off food because the Live Kitchen are at coffee shop. Since this place attracts lots of social event you might feel the sound of music.
Apart from all this, the brand Taj has its own advantage:- great service, staff and property.

I haven't stayed at Taj Deccan but i can assure you get the finest features and services , best in class environment provided by the TAJ Group . Its posh luxury hotel i have been more often to there SYN Asian Grill Bar .its opened all over the night time sneak in anytime u get everything over there . Nights are just awesome around there the outdoor sitting beside a waterfall and cool breeze with a chilled beer in hand gives a sexy and tremendous feel . the place is so calm after midnight that it makes u feel so relaxed . and the people who serve u there are so friendly that i have been there they come and talk to u and they try to give u the best . Simply to say until your not short of bucks good place to enjoy :-p specially to relax

Whether it's a multi star hotel, here I can review what I felt. Coffee is kinda good. But what was astonishing was a water bottle worth Rs. 55 was sold at Rs. 250. Wow!

We booked this hotel on British Airways and got a heck of a deal. the staff was so committed to making our stay very pleasant that they would do anything for us... and they did. The breakfast buffet varied everyday we were there and is included in the price of the room.
