Front desk clerk was super friendly, one of the best checkin-in experiences I've had! Go for the valet parking, as it's only $5 more and the parking garage is 1.5 blocks away. The hotel is fancy, clean, and well kept. There was a noticeable slope to the floor in our room, grade from the outside wall towards the bathroom - but I guess that's because it's an old building. Some articles of clothing were not where we left them the night before going to sleep, and my wife never found one of her socks. Since the door was chained shut I think the place is actually haunted, though in an amusing and not spooky way.

Love this place, been wanting to stay here for decades finally got my chance. I'm quite happy with the deep soaking tub and constant hot water. The beds are supper comfortable, friendly staff with a touch of old world courtesy to match a beautiful historic building. I recommend this place to everyone.

In March we came here for my birthday, they upgraded the room to a suite with a beautiful fireplace and bathroom. When we got into the room we found they left us some soft peanut brittle and a birthday card. I feel like they really went above and beyond and everyone was very kind! Thank you guys very much for making my birthday even more amazing!

Nice rooms, and friendly staff. I could knock stars off for no continental breakfast, but they have a restaurant that opened after I had to leave. Parking was $17 a night if I parked it myself, $22 if their valet did it for me.

Great service, clean rooms and easy access from I-90. With the Post Street Ale House in the same building, it just adds to the experience.

I have stayed at all of the Davenports and always thought of the Lusso as a lower tier. I was wrong. Great rooms, service, and a more boutique feel. It is my new favorite Davenport! Give it a shot, you'll be glad you did!

Loved my time here. Nice. Room looking over the city. Huge bed. Wish there was not the resort fee or lower parking rates.

Pleasant hotel. Friendly staff. Amenities (there is a mandatory fee as part of the room rate) are shared between the four Davenport hotels. One negative for some will be that the AC system blows air all the time, regardless of whether it is heating or cooling. I like white noise, but even for me it was pretty noisy. If you ask at the desk they can have maintenance turn it off in your room each night, say from 7pm to 7am. So, you don't get the noise, but also no heating or cooling.

Gorgeous rooms and a conscientious, friendly staff! We stayed during hoopfest (ironically, a coincidence rather than intentional timing...), and they were helpful in aiding us navigate parking and closed off streets. The concierge gave us excellent dining and activity recommendations. The rooms were a treat, with a cozy atmosphere and nice walk in showers.

Really nice room. Would have been nice if they offered free parking though (17$ per night is pretty pricey, given the cost of the hotel)

Comfortable rooms, internet was iffy (we didn't upgrade). Pleasant staff, although we didn't interact with many of them. Lots of hot water and excellent water pressure.

Excellent guest service, very nice and comfy room with huge bed. I really like the bathroom layout and the Davenport bar on the corner street was very great as well, 5/5 in my book. The whole experience was amazing and thanks to the Davenport, I was able to see the phantom of the opera at the Ibn performing arts center.

When my work brings speakers into town we often have then stay at the Lusso. The staff is always incredibly attentive, patient, and all around wonderful to work with. The hotel is lovely and the rooms suit our guests well. We're very happy to work with them every time!

This is our favorite hotel of all time. You can't be disappointed with the Lusso. We stay here every few months and it is a wonderful place with great character, charm, and the banking of the Davenport brand. Bad sleep is impossible here.

8

Always a pleasure to visit the Davenport collection. Top notch accommodations and service. Loved the room. Top floor jr. suite had automatic gas fireplace, HUGE shower and tub enclosure with monster jets in the tub, big screen, a full bank of windows but primarily a view of the building across the street , and of course the most comfortable beds around.

The drawbacks for me was that there was no mini fridge, and the wall safe wasn't functioning properly.

The proximity to downtown and SO MANY things to do is always a nice when you're looking for options for entertainment.

Very good hotel though I was expecting a more retro style room. The breakfast for elite are not very good on site but you can use the voucher at any Davenport collection hotels.

Beautiful historic hotel in the center of downtown Spokane. Immaculate. Well worth the $150 a night ... you'd easily pay $400-500 for a room this nice in any major city.

The location was far from our venue, but it was nice that it was so central and close to the other Davenports. Roomswere very sparse to come by since they were fully booked. I did enjoy how well decorated they were and spacious. And the service was top notch

Wonderful room, beautiful hotel, pillows were too soft, but that's a personal preference. The bathroom was huge and well appointed, and the hotel staff(from multiple of the Davenport properties) were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Can't say enough good things. We're hoping to stay at the Grand next time we visit Spokane.

The room was nice and big. There was no fridge though but maybe I'm just not used to fancy hotels like this. The service was great. The elevator was broken and the parking was a couple blocks away. Not bad for a downtown hotel.

Staying at the Lusso was fun for a one time thing. We ended up staying here as the Davenport was full and figured it would be a good time to try it rather than stay in the tower. There were a few amenities that the Lusso didn't have that you got in the Davenport, but the cost was the same for us. We didn't mind so much as we were going to be out for most of the weekend. That being said, if I had the choice the Davenport is just nicer. Lusso needs to step up a few things to keep the same prices or lower their prices a bit since not everything is included. Rooms are fine, but Davenport's rooms are nice. It is unfortunate they get compared, but since they are all owned by the same company they might as well do more improvements for it or just consider it a lower level hotel in the shadow of the giant that is The Davenport.

I stay at Hotel Lusso a few times each year. It is an upscale "old-style" boutique hotel. Older hotels are my favorite kind and this one is truly a gem. The rooms are good size; the lobby is beautiful!
The location could not be better to enjoy a downtown experience. It's across the street from the historic Davenport Hotel, two blocks from River Park Square (shopping, dining, and movies), and just blocks from downtown concert venues, symphony and theaters. There are plenty of dining options within a short walk; including the casual pub downstairs - The Post Street Ale House.
Prices currently start at $99 for a queen ($119 weekends). King Rooms are 30 bucks more....
