Outstanding location.

Rooms are good, beds are comfortable. Rooms are a bit tight, by American standards, but average for European I’d guess.

Tube from Heathrow to Leicester Square is painless. Once you’re there it’s close to a few tube stations, Embankment and Leicester square we’re what we used primarily. Used the water taxi once as well.

Friendly service. Perfect spot. Room was kinda small but we really just needed a place to stay in a great location. It was that and more!

Really nice hotel. Room carpeting a but dirty. Or old. But otherwise great. Baths were clean. Good service.

Great location and very comfortable hotel. We had a kitchenette in our room so it made it easier to make our own meals instead of having to eat out all the time.

Stopped into the wine bar for food, drinks, and a place to charge our phones. The drinks were tasty - I had an Old Fashioned. We shared a 'Board for Two' (or something to that effect) which consisted of some cheeses and British meats, and then got on a London Ghost Bus tour right outside.

Fabulous. I have been to coming to London for almost 40 years and it is the first hotel in London that I have found that; is spacious, has staff that speak understandable English, that has a good shower, has a TV that you can hook up your phone and iPad to, that is a reasonable price. In addition it is well situated.

Comfortable room, high ceiling, high tech TV, free WiFi, located 100m next to Trafalgar Square, great location!

A nice stay with ok value for money. The room was tidy and well insulated from the buzzle of the Street. Only complaint is the size of the bed which barely fits two adults.

7

Very nice room. Clean, with everything you could need for a nice sleep. Comfy bed, prime location and a Tesco's express down the road should you need more milk or coffee. Check-in is was very quick and efficient. ONLY bad point I would make was the holding amount they took from my card was much higher than the room price then charged me again for the room on booking out and it took 10 days for the holding amount to be refunded. Make sure to factor that into a budget.

Excellent 4 star hotel. Just off Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. But just a block from there is Leicester Square and the Theater District. Great location. Just a block from tourists so it is quiet at night. Also, it is 2-3 blocks from two tube stops. Embankment or Charing Cross

What can I say about this place.
Positioned very close to the very heart of London and in such a magnificent building.
As you go through the large turning entrance door, you are welcomed by an Art Deco reception area with floor to ceiling marble and large chandeliers.
The staff are very welcoming , polite with with happy faces and efficient.
The room was spacious enough with out feeling cramped and extremely clean.
Would I ever return to tbis hotel?
Most definitely.

Not helpful and arrogant. Broken toilet. And delayed due to housekeeping. Would rather of paid for a travel lodge.

Five star location and nice interior. The room we stayed in was a little bit claustrophobic and lacking a decent window for natural light.

Room was very good; clean, comfy (small) bed, nice (smallish) bath, and enough storage space. All rooms are on upper floors.
Front desk staff are TOTALLY UNHELPFUL. Acted like we'd disturbed them trying to check in. We were not used to the 'self check' system they used (had never seen anything like it) and they acted like it was a HUGE INTERRUPTION to help us. No help with suitcases; finally did tell us where the lift (not elevator), was located. Oh, and they gave us our key, but damned little else.
Location, Location, Location is what this hotel offers. Bar, but no cafe. But close to Trafalgar Square with St. Martin in the Fields wonderful basement cafe in it. Also a local chain is just up the street. Everything in metro London is really close, either within easy walking distance, or you can jump in the tube and get there in minutes. For that it is perfect. BUT,
I'm not sure I'd stay here again though. The front desk staff act like they really don't WANT you to be their guest. And there are plenty of other small hotels in central London who are friendly, helpful, and looking out for guests.
Oh, right across the street is the Sherlock Holmes Pub. If you are a fan of the books, TV series, or movies it is a MUST stop. Good food, drinks and friendly staff.

The bed was super comfortable, loved how centrally located the hotel is to everything in London! We enjoyed having the cold, filtered water on demand with the reusable water bottles. Awesome hotel!

9

Great location, beautiful lobby, clean and larger rooms. Interior is very quiet for the location with hardly any road noise. My only criticism would be that the pillows are a little flat so we needed to ask for extra ones - nit picky of course.

Great location. Large rooms, particularly for London standards. Spectacular bar/breakfast room...marble and chandeliers.

Didn't have to pay for it, so no comment on value for money

Great location and reasonable prices (for central London). Staff are friendly. Not luxurious, but you're not paying for luxurious. Rooms are clean and well stocked, if a little smaller than is typical.

6

Mediocre for the price and reputation. Rooms akin to a Holiday Inn. Food available through the hotel is again mediocre, along with the service. If I could rate 2 1/2 stars to make it perfectly in the middle, I would. Nice, but nothing special. They skirt by with their location and slack on the rest.

Really friendly staff, except when you call the front desk. No fridge in the room. We also weren't told to not use our own hair dryer. You must use the one the hotel gives you. I just blew up my $250 hair dryer and it almost caught fire because the voltage is too high. When I told they front desk they were short with me as if I was to know that before coming. Every other hotel has been just fine with plugging things into any sockets.

8

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Don't call the front desk though as they seem angered every time they answer and will hang up immediately after answering a question wether you understood or not. I've had to call the front multiple times to figure out that I didn't have what I was supposed to have in my room, for example towels and and iron. The last first probably swiped them and our room was searched by the staff to make sure we didnt take it... A little offended but it over with and resolved... Right next to a lot of history in the city.

Perfect location for London! Close by to a tube station so you basically can go anywhere in London. Perfect for Soho and the surrounding areas.
The room is quite nice although quite small (normal in London). The staff is nice and helpful.
Overall a good hotel.

7

Great location, impressive exterior.
It is on a main road, so some rooms may have road noise, but this was okay with earplugs.
Bed was comfy, TV was modern and shower was powerful. 12 noon checkout is a nice bonus too.

Great hotel! Good room-service quality and selection, friendly staff, nice rooms with plush beds. 30 second walk from Charing Cross, close to Soho, Covent Garden, and the Thames. Would stay there again anytime!

A very nice location near Trafalgar Square, with easy access to the Charing Cross and Embankment stations. Very short walk to the National Gallery and the Portrait Gallery. Soho is within easy walking distance. The hotel rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. The staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel restaurant was good, but a little pricey. The marble lobby is quite attractive. Many eating and public transportation options within short walking distance. Stayed there just after New Year's and would definitely stay there again.
