I had to cancel my reservation due to virus and work. Dana and Ann were fabulous. I plan to go in the fall or spring. This is first class. I will go because when someone does what is right it makes you want to be with this organization in the future. . Brad Williams

Disclosure: I am a Montage associate. Montage Palmetto Bluff is an amazing 20,000 acre resort and community nestled in the South Carolina low country. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen with so much to see and do. If you've never taken the opportunity to visit Palmetto Bluff, I highly recommend that you do. You will not be disappointed!

From the drive into the property all the way through check in you can tell you will be in for a special treat here. Pretty much a storybook setting though real. Stayed in both the Inn and the Cottages and the beds are super comfortable and linens nice and soft. Beautiful bathrooms with high end toiletries. The grounds are amazing with so many things to do and see for any age. Golfing, kayaking, fishing, biking, and even bowling! Service is top notch with Southern hospitality. Food is pretty good anywhere but don't miss breakfast at Buffalo. Trust me, your stay will not be long enough.

It’s an enthusiastic 5 star rating. This place is luxury amazing. It’s huge. It’s a massive like 10 square mile property with a hotel as well as private homes. So much space to explore. Being there, you never feel like you’re intruding, the staff is thoughtful as are the amenities and when they’re offered. If u can afford to stay here... do it. You will not be disappointed.

The Inn at Palmetto Bluff is an amazing place for a romantic weekend, even off-season. Rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with ample "creature comforts", and the TV even has Chromecast and plays music in the large bathroom. There's a daily resort fee but they do provide the amenities to earn it. It's easy to drive to from the surrounding area. Service is friendly and very guest-oriented.

I enjoyed staying here but it is a little inconvenient to get to and from the check-in and your place. The cost per night is a little hard to justify fir the location.

Palmetto Bluff is the most unique resort community we have visited. The Inn is new and their cottages well maintained. You can walk, bike, cart to anywhere on the entire property of 22,000 acres (at least the portion that is developed).

As for amenities - everything and anything (other than snow skiing and ice skating, this is the deep South after all ;) ). Golf, skeet shooting, fishing, dolphin watching to name but a few, and it is kid friendly but with sufficient privacy for those without children.

Several restaurants on site make it easy to never leave the community and only need a car to/from. Plus it is only 30 minutes from Savannah, which is a great day trip if you want to see one of Georgia's original cities.
If you are not familiar with Southern coastal weather, you may want to visit in the spring/fall as the July/Aug time frame is rather hot and humid.

Overall - highly recommended. This is a place we will return to!

Once you turn off the main road onto the property, you are in a completely different world! Located between Savannah and Hilton Head, Montage PB is nestled in amongst what seems to be acres of quiet solitude - it definitely takes a bit to get to the main lodging!

The main area just opened about a month ago and is fantastic! Spacious with classic decor and a quiet grace. The grounds surrounding it are also lovely and definitely carry a ton of southern charm. I loved the bikes that were available to get to the outer accomodations. I was lucky enough to be in one of the rooms (felt like a condo!) closer to the main area. LOVED the two pools (great idea, by the way). Note to management - the side gate on the larger pool is super heavy and difficult to open.

I had the lower level unit (each building has about 10 units but it doesn't seem too crowded or loud which is fabulous) My room was lovely but I was really hoping to get a room with a tub! I had an ADA unit that had the roll in shower so I wasn't able to get the full tub experience. Yes, I know most people don't take a bath in hotels but I do especially when they are freestanding & fabulous.

I was there for a corporate event and the meeting was held in the chapel near the main area - SO cute and adorable and actually well fitting for a corporate presentation as they placed great sitting couches which were much better than the usual conference chairs.

We also attended a dinner event at Moreland Place on the property which was magical! The hotel trekked us out in boats and the ride there was just lovely! We were served roasted oysters and pulled pork and there was also a guitarist - super lovely open area with market lights. Dinner was served in a covered area, buffet style. I wasn't really impressed with the food as I'm a bit of a southern food snob but overall it was good.

I think the wait staff is working out the kinks in the main restaurant as breakfast seemed to take quite a while to show up and several people were late for meetings because room service never arrived.

We also had a dinner event at the Canoe Club - another amazing spot on the property. Great decor & atmosphere with a waterside view.

Overall, this resort is a complete destination spot and very relaxing

Beautiful low country charm. Buffalo's is a great place for some food and to soak in the views if it's not too hot to sit outside.

Incredible experience, impeccable service. Excellent gluten free options including a bread selection. Shrimp cocktail was freshly prepared with a nice bite in the sauce. Filet was cooked to a fine med rare with good seasoning. Atmosphere is unmatched.
