A great hotel in a great location. It had a nice boutique feel to it and I liked the size of the rooms well kept clean rooms and decor, staff are friendly and very helpful, and most importantly rooms have air conditioning to keep you cool in the humid Singapore weather.
Some cons:
The bathroom was small and not easy to move around in. The restaurant downstairs offered some nice food, but the menu was limited and expensive for what you get and the seating arrangement in the food area felt like I was in a school food hall. We weren't satisfied with the limited breakfast options on the menu after a couple of days so conveniently went to a good rated cafe within 2 minutes walk called Tolidos Espresso Nook. Hotel laundry service was also expensive so i found a self service laundry within 5 minutes of the hotel (do a Google search and you'll find it).
Nearby recommended food:
- Golden Mile Food Centre (food hawker place)
- Tolidos Espresso Nook
Overall, the pros outweighed the cons and I'd highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for something that has some charm and isn't your typical shoebox type of hotel room.

It has its pros and cons. Generally it's a good looking place with an interesting decor. The double rooms are a tad bit too small. Cleanliness is alright. Definitely not living up to a 4 star rating. Location is really great though. Especially for Muslims. Lots of halal eateries around. Just a few minutes walk from the Sultan Mosque, Arab Street and Haji Lane. All in all of you are to consider all things it's not a really bad place to stay. Although I think it's a bit expensive for what it offers.

The hotel staff were so good and friendly.
The room we stayed in was smelly though from cleaning products. Didn't really go away. Noise from a band playing till 2am did'nt help when we had just arrived on a long flight from London

Great location. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. A bit noisy at night. Not sound proof rooms at all. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was extraordinary friendly and accommodated any reasonable requests. The hotel and our room had a great atmosphere, and the location is great for adventurous foodies. Our booked room wasn't available, so we got bumped up to a bigger room. Unfortunately, the stairs to and from the second level were a bit too steep. Overall, we enjoyed a great stay.

Location - awesome! Very close to little India and Arab street. Conveniently located near all major tourist spots in Singapore
Room quality - very small rooms. Mine had barely any exposure to sun. I did like the free handy phone they offer, which anyone can carry for no charge. The phone offers gps and access to map, with calling on a charge
Free breakfast - they offer bread, fruits and cereal on buffet, and have weekly fixed menu for breakfast dishes, for example English breakfast, yogurt with fruits, etc.
... do meet the person who manages the breakfast. He knows bit of Hindi and sang a famous old Hindi song for us 😜

What a nice place, we took the loft or attic room and liked it very much, all staff is friendly, dinner outside is SUPER RELAXING, breakfast is good but "boring"
outside at night all the small streets with food and bars are fun and friendly ...

Great Hotel, conveniently located close to Arab Street which is a food heaven. Staff are nice and rooms are great too. Stayed 3 nights and 4 days. Only thing you should consider if you are staying over the weekend is, there is a live band on their premises, although not too much noise but the bass comes through and the Jalan Sultan road gets noisy with drunk people on Sunday nights. Hope this helps

I like the room decor. Although it is actually small but they make it looks like bigger.

I'd recommemded this place for everyone visiting Singapore. The area situated between the Singapore's downtown and also Arab Street. If you're looking for foods, there are a lot of them in Haji Lane Areas (approx. 10 minutes walking from the hotel) and there is also a big Masjid near it. The architecture is kind of vintage but we'd love it! The staffs' english are also understandable for non-simgaporean

Location is relatively close to the city. Ambience of the room is nice. However It's kind of noisy. The front desk is very courteous and helpful.
We have good experience in Singapore, however, the Hotel room was very small, without window, but a good example for Delhi peoples, how to adjust in small rest room. However, I will prefer another hotel for next visit. Staff is very gentle, nice and co-operative. For Veg. Indian, few more items to be added in break fast . I wish all the very best to them.
