The Westin Boston Waterfront

Whether you are traveling far or planning the staycation of a lifetime, make it count at The Westin Boston Seaport District. A vibrant neighborhood in an iconic city, the Seaport District offers rich history, world-famous attractions, and hidden gems for those who want to take the path less traveled. We are close to family-friendly fun at Boston Childrens Museum, stunning exhibits at the Institute of Contemporary Art and much more. Whatever adventure you choose, come home at the end of the day to stylish accommodations with everything you need to recharge for the next one when you book at our outstanding hotel. When you are not out exploring the city, enjoy our 24-hour WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, plush Heavenly Beds, full-service on-site Starbucks and casual dining options.

The revitalized Boston Waterfront bustles with activity, from culinary to cultural—including the city's stunning new landmark: the Institute of Contemporary Art. The area offers terrific options for runners or walkers, but of course guests may also enjoy easy access to water taxis, ferries and tour boats as well as the T train.

Steps from The Westin Boston Waterfront, an aquatic shuttle takes you to the historic Boston Harbor Islands—a national park like no other. It includes 34 islands that lie within the large "C" shape of Boston Harbor.

It's a quick ride to the Back Bay, the Financial District, and family attractions such as the New England Aquarium and the Boston Childrens Museum.

Shoppers will be happy to know that Downtown Crossing, Bostons historic shopping district, is just 10 minutes from the hotel. The district is home to more than 300 boutiques and specialty shops—from buttons to books—as well as major department stores, including Macys. All around the marketplace, pushcart vendors offer enticing food options and the kind of colorful merchandise that makes shopping here a unique experience.

Also not far from the hotel is Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. It's the seat of American history and the site of one of America's most famous shopping and dining experiences, Faneuil Hall Marketplace. For over 250 years, the marketplace has played an integral role in the life of Boston's residents.

I stayed here for three nights: mostly very comfortable and pleasant. All the hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. My only real complaint is that the interior air is ultra-dry, to the point that I ended up with extremely chapped lips. Perhaps this is just inevitable in large hotel function spaces in the dead of winter. Great to have a full-service Starbucks right there inside, but sometimes the line can get quite long and slow. But lots of nice touches all around, including the concierge desk where you can get a Band-Aid right on the spot.

Excellent place to stay and seems to always be busy. Room are very clean and comfortable. I love this place for business trips. Great selection of restaurants close by and the food at the hotel is very good. Bars are great!!!!

Very clean rooms and facilities with a very friendly and helpful staff. The pool area is nice as is the work out room. It is near to most anything you would want to do in Boston. My only real grievance is that the hotel's restaurant is open only for a very basic breakfast currently. There are other options on site that are perfectly acceptable not to mention you can get nearly anything delivered If you don't wish to venture out.

This hotel hosted a major conference and they were great at providing staff that help the delegates with check in/check out and directions for the different rooms during the conference. Also a great service is that they would rent workout gear for a fee! There is a walkway from the hotel to the convention center, which is great for winter and rainy days. The only thing negative was I put my do not disturb sign the first day. From then on it was assumed that I didn't want housekeeping. So I actually had to tell the staff when I needed housekeeping.

Classy joint. Glad my company paid for it.

Very convenient to many places in downtown Boston. If you are going to the convention center, this place is a must since the convention center is next door to the hotel.

All of the staff was friendly as expected and there were restaurants on site open late.

Enjoyable stay. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Oh. And I loved the showerhead.

The hotel is overall a well appointment place to stay at for a conference in town especially if it is in the convention center. It can be very busy and crowded. The rooms are clean, fairly updated and spacious. There is room service available as well as two bars, a restaurant, a Starbucks, a convenience/gift shop and a comedy venue on premises. Parking is available either for self park or valet, but be ready to pay top dollar.

As with many big hotels the lack of attention to detail from room service to details related to room appointments can be observed.

The indoor pool and hot tub are sub par for the sort of place and price this hotel pretends to be. Mold, chipping paint and overall poor craftsmanship is not entirely masked by the low and colorful ambient lighting.

I have only been here for meetings, but the hotel seems very modern and updated. Conference rooms are large and well furnished. There's a decent Cafe in the lobby. Staff had always been very friendly and willing to help find my destination Location could not possibly be more convenient to the Boston Convention Center.

Pleasant, clean and conveniently located. The hotel was just a short 10 minute walk from the Silver Line stop. It was perfect for me since I didn’t have but one small carry on. The hotel is next door to the convention center so you should expect the “convention crowds” at most hours around the lobby areas; I saw many people during my stay however I didn’t hear any noise or disturbances in my floor. Our room was the expected standard size, nothing to write home about but felt new and was comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected. They have a buffet or you can order from the menu. Our server Clara was very attentive. The food selection was somewhat large and fresh. I would not stay here during a holiday but it’s a great option for an overnight between flights our in town for business or a convention.

Saw a show at Laugh Factory. Small, intimate venue. Could have been laid out slightly better to provide view of the stage in all seats, but otherwise positive experience with attentive staff.

First time in Boston. This was a super clean hotel with the nicest staff. The hotel is pretty big and it's impressive how clean it is everywhere. If I make my way back to Boston I'll def be staying here. The prices are very reasonable and I felt like first class! Pictures are from the city view room option.

The Westin Boston Waterfront exceeded my expectations. Earlier in the week I notified them we would be arriving early and they allowed us to check in early at no extra cost. The hotel was super clean and the staff were professional and friendly. Was surprised by the number of excellent places to eat located in the hotel and so close to it. I will be coming to Boston again and will make reservations with the Westin again.

Beautiful location. Beautiful hotel. Great amenities and rooms. Very spacious rooms and accommodations. 55" tv in the rooms, super comfy beds and pillows, swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, Starbucks, and 3 different restaurants in the hotel. Walking distance to many of the local sightseeing destinations. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Hotel Staff was simply amazing! They answered all my questions and recommended awesome hot spots. Lawn on D is literally next door. Our room was extremely comfortable . Our XL uber took us to the city at $12 on a Friday night so it is perfectly located for a night out. Thank you for a great time! Matt I believe was his name was great!

Really nice hotel. Extremely clean, fast and personalized service, new and modern finishes, comfortable bed. Answered the phone by greeting me personally when I ordered room service, and they were extremely accommodating. It's also located in the heart of Boston and very convenient for my business trip. Would highly recommend this place.

Incredibly nice staff. Our daughter had a cold and they brought us a humidifier within a few minutes upon request. Room (two full beds) was small but very clean with modern decor. Plenty of storage for a weekend trip for three people. Easy access to the Lawn at D.

I was here for the Robotics Summit & Showcase and the service was absolutely wonderful. The food is great, the staff is incredibly helpful, and the free open bar bar tenders at the convention were friendly. Overall the hotel has a very modern and grand feeling to it. The interior decorations are beautiful. Great place to stay and hold a conference.

I spent 3 days at the Content Marketing Conference held at the Westin. The facility was well-kept. Service was exceptional during breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Anytime I had a question, there was someone nearby to guide me to the proper location. When I left my laptop behind after a presentation, the attendant was more than helpful. Looking forward to #CMC2019.

Review of The Westin Boston Waterfront

I've stayed here twice, both times exhibiting at a tradeshow at the Boston Convention Exhibition Center...

High-end hotel with great decor and having a Starbucks and restaurant in the lobby is a definite plus. Rooms are very spacious and presented with luxury. Bathrooms can be described in the same fashion. A bit on the pricey end, but that's to be expected being in the location it's at plus it being a Westin.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in a plus location.

Decent hotel. Great check in experience. Friendly and efficient. Rooms were decent, clean and well appointed. I was quite satisfied. The meeting facilities were excellent and the tea coffee and snack breaks were handled quite efficiently. All in all a good hotel stay experience.

Great location, right next to the convention center, and a ten-minute walk from restaurants. I was surprised by how close this hotel is to the airport. Only about a 10-minute cab ride with moderate traffic. Service is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. As in any hotel, room service meals are way overpriced, so count on eating out or eating at the restaurant downstairs.

Conveniently located to convention center. Staff was helpful and resolved all issues as quickly as needed. I try to be as green as possible and they actually respected that with their program. Great hotel, but definitely pricey.

Great facility in a great location. Room was excellent. Spacious, huge tv, bed was comfortable, shower was notable with a large overhead fixture. Unfortunately I had a similar poor experience with a desk agent others have mentioned. Nothing inappropriate, just barely recognized my presence. Housekeeping was always friendly. On the whole I'd recommend, despite the lackluster customer service experience.

What a lovely time we had. From the first moment we got there, Isaac at the front desk who was fabulous, answered all our questions, was always with a smile, friendly and professional everyday we were there ~ was an incredible first and lasting impression. Our bellhop, Muloba, was so wonderful, friendly & professional! He was so great to us! James, the doorman, was full of smiles and fun. He was making everyone feel like they were home. The hotel maids were always with a smile and always pleasant! This hotel was on point! You were always relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Everyone that worked there that you would see always greeted you and were happy. This place goes above and beyond!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The accommodations for guests are top notch. We enjoyed our stay here for an organization event and it did not disappoint. From the start of checkin, our stay was seamless. Our reservations host was extremely kind and thorough from our first greeting.

The accommodations included a spacious, modern room equipped for restful sleep and relaxing stay.

We enjoyed beverages downstairs at the bar and Starbucks for a caffeine fix located in the lobby area.

Another perk was the location of the hotel. Guests are an Uber call or walk away from some of Bostons best spots for food and drinks.

The hotel offers a plethora of seating areas to mingle in the lobby, which was incredible after our events were over.

Our event held through various rooms and ballroom was stellar. The food was not my favorite, but what was to be expected for a catered formal event.

We also were able to utilize the restaurant downstairs. I do not remember the name, but it was open conveniently late, so we were able to snag some tasty, decent bar food and beverages. It was amazing having a spot in the hotel that allowed us to enjoy a few cocktails and late night food "close to home."

I stayed here for an event some months back. First, beautiful hotel and great location. The cons: front desk agent was awful. Did not acknowledge me and I was the only one in line. Additionally he made unprofessional comments that it’s good that I’m traveling alone as I may meet someone. He was implying that I can take someone back to my room. Lastly, he told me my room wasn’t ready but I could upgrade for $20 more. He did not mention by doin so, I would receive more fees. The room had a loose faucet which I made mention the next day. It kept dripping whenever turned on. Of course this same front desk employee was working and he said he would make a note of it. No apology or anything. I expected a little more professionalism for a $300 room. I’ll be in the area again in a few months but I honestly don’t know if I want to stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the employees were friendly. We went for a convention, and the rooms were set up well. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Except I found one bathroom that was locked at 9:30 pm. So I had to walk to the other side of the building to use a different bathroom. Other than that it was perfect.

The Westin is a really nice hotel, and a great venue for a show. The staff I have dealt with are always very professional and accommodating. I look forward to each of the annual events I attend there. One of which puts a lot of demands on the hotel and they always handle the experience like pros.

Great hotel with all the amenities. Staff was extremely friendly made the stay more comfortable. Location is great if your going to downtown, airport, world trade center, harbor side, and many other popular spots in downtown Boston. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Only complaint I would have is that the TV in the room was small, and parking is not free.

I attended a convention here and the place was packed. It was incredibly easy moving from wing to wing and there were digital maps that were easy to read if you needed to find your footing. Our hotel stay was good. The room was clean and the staff was nice. I like this hotel and would recommend it. It's in a nice location in Boston as well. One bad thing - The TV in the room did not work, and we did ask for someone to come up and look at it. No one came but if we persued further I'm sure someone would have eventually.

We stayed here from 12/29 to 12/31 for our honeymoon. Very nice staff. Room was clean. Very minimalist. There are two bars and even a comedy show on site!

The walls are thin though. We walked by a room at 11am & heard a lady moaning 🙃... Maybe she was just too loud? When in the room, you can't really tell/hear much.

Good location; close to everything. Uber at your door in minutes!

I did not stay in a room. I went to City Bar for a company holiday party. It was very nice. We had a private party and were given half of the bar space. The bartender was prompt and I never waited for a drink. The wait staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and came out frequently as we had passed appetizers. Overall it was a great exoerience.

This is my third time at the Hotel and Convention Center for a recruiting event. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I love that the convention is in the same building and I do not have to go outside in order to get to the convention. There are also many taxis and an easy traveling for Uber. The staff was friendly and attentive. On the day of my check out, they allowed me to work from my laptop for 4 hours uninterrupted while I waited for my flight. I definitely plan on using this hotel next year when I come up for the event.

I attended a professional event with presentations and group seating in one large room, demo stations, registration and reception across the hall. There were no other groups in that area, and it was not busy or distracting. Service staff were welcoming and professional, food and beverage service was high quality. The Westin has its own parking and there is a large lot next door, though in the back. I can from another event a few blocks away; good for ride services, bit of a hike for walking (but hey, steps!). Lobby area bar and coffee shop; separate bar/restaurant just off the lobby to the left. Very nice and professional.

No free WiFi in 2017? Really?

Rooms are fairly hotel basic considering how posh other elements of the hotel are designed to look. I've had much nicer rooms in much less expensive hotels. If you're here, it's because of the convention center and convenience. There's really no other reason to come here. It's just okay.

I liked this hotel. It was spacious inside, and the coloring and excellent lighting have a sensation of even more space. Bar, breakfast area, lounge and conference rooms on first floor plus large conference rooms on ground level/basement. A plus is the water taxi stop from the airport is right beside it, the best way to get there from the airport IMO.

The location is very nice to be close to downtown and the airport. Great services. I loved hotels that provides pet beds , bowls and miscellaneous stuff for needs for dogs. My pup loved the cleaned and washed bedding. If it's clean my dog will sleep on it. If it's not clean he won't. So I trusted this Westin Hotel Beautiful room and the views !!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a modern look. Rooms are clean and well appointed with decent views. Closet is pretty small if you're staying for more than a couple days. Also found the workout room to be a little limited, but everything else was great.🎾

The Westin has some of the most comfortable beds in the Boston hotel scene. The room was clean as always, the toiletries were plentiful and I received my complimentary bottles of water as a Gold SPG member - refilled on Wednesday as well. The Westin is definitely a convention center hotel, and always has an event going on downstairs, but the bar is always available. Food and drinks at the bar are always fantastic and the bartenders are fantastic. My only issue is with the showers. The hot water comes on quickly, but the shower head options are both pretty narrow or weak-streamed. I would prefer a traditional shower head, compared to the options in the bathroom. Otherwise, the place is great!

Excellently average. No special experience or effort to beat expectations. Room and hotel design very common. Though the service is very responsive and friendly (though not proactive), bed and shower are great (though no shower gel standard - you have to ask - and no other bath amenities), and the gym is spacious and well equipped. Breakfast staff, particularly Mariano, is very friendly (though food not great).

Very satisfied with my experiences at the Westin Waterfront. The location is great, with close proximity to some very neat areas. The conference / event areas, while not brand-spanking-new, are in good repair, serviceable and appealing. 4/5 stars simply because some areas have begun to show their age slightly but overall a great experience.

Rooms were very nice, though they should use their housekeepers to monitor fixture problems in the rooms (exception, not rule). Perfect hotel for those going to the convention centre. This hotel is also steps away from the World Trade Centre "T" subway stop. The food is pretty much like any hotel food. There's a Starbucks at the hotel. The choices in the concession store is not as much as one would like but it will do. There is a pool but would be great to have a sauna. There is a jacuzzi. The gym is great and having $5 gear rental (including sneakers!) is a great idea. The running concierge is a nice touch.

My stay at the Westin Boston Waterfront was very good, bed was comfortable room clean and came with Starbucks coffee that you can make in the coffee maker. One slight surprise is the tv that is in the room is much smaller than I would have imagined compared to other hotels. Location is good, only 10 - 15 minute ride from the airport depending on the traffic. Staff is very accommodating.

The hotel was a great location for attending a conference. It's a little far from the historic Boston sites, but it is close to good restaurants down by the harbor. This hotel is situated very close to the waterfront in an extremely desirable location. The area offers an incredible choice of things to do and has a great restaurants. Reaching the hotel from the airport with public transportation is literally a breeze and free. The hotel was built about 10 years ago and still feels like new. It is very well kept, the rooms are a good size with everything one might expect from an hotel of this type. I only had breakfast on site, but it was an excellent experience. The menu choice, especially in terms of healthy dishes. The staff are fantastic and very much looking out for their guests. This is by all means a location I recommend to anyone wanting to spend quality time in Boston.

Great place to stay in Boston. 30 minutes walk to downtown. There are many bars and restaurants around. Hotel itself has two good lobby bars. Food is good as well.
Hotel is always busy though. If that annoys you. All in all good experience.

Place is chic and stylish. Staff is very friendly, and professional. Rooms are spacious, cozy, and clean. I love the option of the rainfall shower in the bathrooms. I recommend this place to anyone!

Quality staff, they were very flexible with my check in and out. The rooms were spacious and had a nice view. I would recommend this location if you plan on staying near the convention center.

Beautiful hotel! So clean and well kept. We requested early check in and the hotel was extremely accommodating about getting us in as early as possible. While the room wasn't available, they kept our luggage so we could walk around Boston. The only bum feature to the hotel is that they still have actual double/full beds as opposed to queens.

Nice rooms with excellent views. Close to the convention center but a little far from everything else. Great staff and really nice lobby. The bar and room service food are quite good.

Great hotel. Beautiful location near the water. But a short Uber ride to all major Boston areas. And the staff had been excellent. Will definitely return.

Hotel is good because it's connected to the BCEC and that's about it. Newer hotels in the area are much nicer and offer more updated rooms for around the same price. You're just paying for convenience here.

Concierge was knowledgeable and helpful. Transportation to and from is convenient. Location is perfect for conventions. Restaurants are plentiful with good variety. Hop on Hop off tour is a free 5 minute shuttle from the lobby.

It was exactly at my expectations for the price I paid. The only gripe I had was with the restaurant downstairs, the one that had fish and steak fries. The waiter was horribly rude to our table, rushing us and then refusing to split our checks only to do it in the end anyway and claim he told us he would. He looked flustered even though the restaurant wasn't even busy. We were there to talk and network and we felt rushed out the door. Awful. Everything else was great. The people were nice, the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. I would definitely stay at this Westin again next year for the convention.

Whenever I have stayed at the Westin by the convention center these folks have shown that they are passionate about customer service. Every. Single. Time I have stayed they have above and beyond to made my stay a great one. The staff genuinely care about the guests.
This last stay I had to stow my bags at the front desk. The attendant Aziz got them out for me, but I accidentally left one of them there. When I came back for it, he saw me from across the lobby and had it back out front by the time I got to his desk.
Can't say it enough: If you want a place where they care: Westin Boston Waterfront.

Great location if attending a convention next door. Really easy to park and walk into the hotel and even the convention center. The staff is usually pretty nice as well. We have stayed here for the past 6 years for a conference we attend each year and have only had 1 issue. That issue was we were given a room that already belonged to someone, when we walked in they weren't in the room and all their stuff was there. If we were bad people we could have stolen everything and no one would have known. When I went to the main desk to inform them, they said sorry and gave us another room. I tried to push the woman as to why this wasn't a big deal to her and she just didn't seem to care.

There is no free breakfast here which is a big bummer when other places close by offer breakfast during the week. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are up to date with rain shower heads. I don't like them but they are nice and clean. The beds are nice and the pillows off different plush so you can find the one you like.

We will be staying here every year, it's a nice hotel and the location is great!

The location of the Westin Waterfront is perfect when attending a convention at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. You cannot get closer than a hotel attached to the convention center! The rooms are clean, bright, and fairly spacious. Lots of towels provided in the restroom. We requested more pillows but they weren't brought up but assume this is due to being very busy!

Amazing rooms, nice and quiet. Awesome fitness and swimming pool facilities. Breakfast was decent, Starbucks within the property. About 30 minutes walking distancd to the shopping area. Overall great hotel, never a disappointment with Westin. Worth every penny

Had a wonderful time at the Westin Boston Waterfront. My family and I were so pleased with the service provided by the entire Westin staff. Everything I requested was taken care of with courtesy and friendliness (I loved it ^_^) The room was immaculate, huge fitness room with plenty of options, pretty good size indoor pool and jacuzzi, Starbucks Cafe on-site, skywalk to the convention center and convenient location. I highly recommend this great place. Tip, ask for a room on a higher floor facing the city.

Staff are kind of odd. Stayed over a month in this hotel for work. Food is ok to decent when getting catered food. Room and amenities are good. Pool and jacuzzi are great and hours are pretty great I think it's like 5am-12am

I was there for a meeting and the hotel itself was beautiful! Parking was odd to find but easy. Drive right to the front and you'll see the directions to underground parking. We had hundreds of ppl meeting so breakfast was cramped and fitting all of us in one meeting room was also impressive. The lunch provided was great. I'd consider booking a room in the future.

Nothing to complain about this place. Very well situated. Within walking distance of the city and easy to get a cab to the airport as well. Very nice big rooms, comfy beds and the bar down stairs does good food and drink.

Comfortable and spacious rooms, and a wide several in-hotel restaurants and bars help to make up for this hotel's distance from restaurants and bars. The staff are very attentive and helpful. I was attending a convention, and the hotel is straightforward to navigate, if a bit sprawling.

We stayed at the Westin on December 9, 2016. The hotel and view from the room were very nice. Be warned though, the hotel is adjacent to a convention center. We were not warned of this when we booked the room. The conventioneers were beyond rowdy as we might have expected had we known. Security was called to the room next to us more than once. At 3 AM without sleep, we almost gave up on sleep and left. Buyer be ware.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

The hotel is nice and in a nice area with tons of stuff you can walk to. It's connected to the hotel and conference center, which is nice during cold weather or rain. The staff is hands down one of the most accommodating and friendly of any hotel I've ever been to. I usually prefer to stay here when I am in Boston because I have had many good experiences.

Pretty nice, I was little turned off that I received a package which was slightly heavy and was charged $39.95 for a 'handling fee'-- however my room was spotless and comfortable. It's also at a great location for the conference center and its very easy to get into the city. Independent Starbucks inside the hotel as well which is nice.

Perfect location, view, and service. Very clean. The only issue for us was the breakfast. $24 per person is a bit ridiculous especially since we have 7 people in our family

Very nice hotel. Huge lobby. Service is nice and the room is very comfortable. I tried the breakfast buffet and I would say it's OK. The hotel is located right next to the Boston conference center, so convenient if you have meeting there. There isn't a lot of good restaurants close by though. Overall highly recommend.

The location was great. There are many places in reading distance. The downside is the passing. Like most hotels in Boston, passing for parking at a hotel is like passing twice; It is expensive. The staff at the hotel was very nice and I would definitely stay here again. Next time I hope to try their restarting called city view.

If you are attending something at the BCEC you need to try to stay here. While there are plenty of great hotels in the area, this one is literally connected to the convention hall. You can't beat that for convenience. Other than that the hotel itself is great, friendly staff, two good restaurants and the signature Westin Heavenly Bed.

Good hotel for business travelers. I forgot my toiletries and they provided everything (toothbrush and paste, antiperspirant, and shaving kit) at no charge. That's service!!!

Great place. Nice room and was not in a busy area. Price was a little more than I wanted to spend for a night in Boston but after hearing what others are paying it wasn't that bad. My only complaint was no wi-fi. Even fast food restaurants have free wi-fi. The view of the skyline was awesome.

I only stayed one night and we were on the preferred floor but it was so nice. The room was beautiful, we had a wonderful view, and the staff was so friendly they even knocked on our door just to give us water and chocolates!
