It is clean and relatively new, but the staff are not helpful or even polite! They ignore you and continue their chat if they feel like it. We stayed there for 3 days and only one lady at the front desk actually put an effort to help us (and to be fair she was very nice), 4 other people at the front desk and none of them even answered our simplest questions like how to get food late at night, whether it is safe to park the car outside, or which metro line takes us to the center.
There is a €4 wifi fee per 24 hours (July 2018), so make sure you plan according.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Polite and helpful staff, quiet place, clean and comfortable bathrooms. 24 restaurant and bar. Only the WiFi is not free, but I have more than I need on my phone. So really fits me. Would stay again, likely to be soon

Clean, friendly staff with decent English proficiency. Small room without free Wi-Fi and no hairdryer. Close to Metro station.

The hotel is fine, but I wasn't impressed by it. Definitely worth the money though.

Cheap but not too cheerful. Variable water temperature in the shower. No soap in soap dispenser. Not very central. Looks like it's in the middle of an industrial estate. Irons and hairdryers overheated after about 30 seconds. If you book directly with Travelodge, wi-fi is free in the room, but otherwise it's 3.50 a day which is a bit steep, especially as Expedia shows free WiFi, which only applies in the lobby and is painfully slow. That said, with the abolition of roaming charges, if you have a decent amount of data with your UK mobile plan, it's better using your mobile plan. The only issue I had was running out of battery.

Room was cheap at the booking and okay, but I had to pay extra fees for the parking, wifi in the room and breakfast.-> in total not so cheap like expected. In the bathroom the air ventillation not stoppable during the night. Reception could help with metro ticketes, recommended to ask!

Most important it was a very clean place and spacious for my triple bed room. Staff was very nice and helpful. Transportation was accessible.

A nice place to sleep and eat breakfast but not much else. The rooms are quite small compared to other hotels across europe. But they have everything one needs to temporarily stay. The breakfast was good with a good selection. My main complaint is the size of the room. It is smaller than it feels it should be. Also i would really appreciate a pool of any size to relax after a long day of walking. Overall the hotel is nice place to sleep in Madrid.

Decent basic rooms, air-conditioning worked on. Breakfast was pretty decent also. Paid WiFi worked well also
