This is an amazing hotel. Beautiful old abby converted into a modern hotel. A very nice breakfast in the mornings. There are some nice little places to eat close by. About a half an hour walk to the vatican. The hotel stay comes with an online newspaper app from all around the world. The hotel also gave us a cellphone with gps and data for our stay. Highly recomend it. If i return to rome i would book it again.

1) Location: Good only if you have a car. If not, access to the public transportation is poor.
2) Room and facility: Relatively well managed, even if it is very old. No complementary water nor the kettle inside the room. You also have to bring your own tooth brush and pastes. Breakfast is good.
3) Staffs: I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, but they didn’t give me even 2-hours late check out for refreshing after the half-a-day tour, which made me feel that they were either stingy or inflexible.
All in Rome were good, except the last day in this hotel.

Beyond incredible. Everything about this place is magic. The location the restaurants the lobby the drive way to come in the quaintness the design. Love this hotel. The only place to stay.
Clean wonderful beautiful perfect in every way. The best part was that I didn't have to see any tourists acting like they were walking in another dimension. Normal sophisticated decent people who have already traveled the world several times around and dont look like scared space cadets on some kind of voyage. The staff st the hotel were beyond professional kind and straight to the point. They dont waste your time and they have the keys and all necessary ready before you can even blink.

Clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and courteous and helped us with a few 'extras' like storing our bags before check-in, calling a taxi for us after check-out, guidance about local attractions, etc.

They also do one thing I haven't see elsewhere: they give you a cell phone to use while you're there, pre-connected to cellular service and with most popular apps like Google Maps pre-installed. The system is called 'handy'. You're allowed to use it free while you're there without using your own data or calling minutes. This proved to be a great help for us because my phone has a pretty weak battery but the hotel's phone lasted a very long time on each charge. We used it to navigate all around Rome. The pre-installed custom launcher also has features like the ability to click right in to find companies offering tours of local sites; we used this extensively. I probably could have found these on my own but I would have spent a lot of time trying to find the best deals; the 'handy' phone did it all for me. At first I was a little concerned about the security (to use it effectively you have to connect it to your Facebook and Google accounts) but it offers a data-wipe feature which wipes all your personal data when you leave. After checking it out a bit, I chose to trust it and it was a great help to us.

Very beautiful hotel with cozy rooms. Staff was excellent and did great job of making me feel welcome. The rooms are missing some basics amenities like coffee maker and iron but this would not prevent me from booking another stay.

Beautifully charming hotel. Historically significant with old world elegance and modern features and amenities. Well situated in a great part of town walking distance from many interesting sites and fantastic shopping in nearby piazzas. The staff are gracious, kind and very helpful. The great breakfast is just one more plus.

Nice setting: hotel is located in an old monestary - but the breakfast was not good at all (eggs soggy and no good bread). You nearly had to beg to get a coffee at the breakfast. Once I asked if i could get a normal coffee from the machine and the waiter said no because they had some Americano Coffee that was brewed this morning on the buffet. It didnt interested the waitress that I said that I already tried it and it tasted not good. Btw: No one was drinking that. My boyfriend and I normally are looking forward to have breakfast in the morning - but this was not the case at this hotel.

This hotel is a converted monistary recently started as a hotel. I have not been in any of the rooms but I went for a visit. It's conveniently placed at the bottom of the Gianuculo Hill in Trastevere. Unique, impressive, entrance . Grand hallway. Inside garden. No kidding..... One minute walk to the night life. Just a few minutes up the hill and you get great romantic views looking down on Rome.

This hotel was a very good choice for my stay in Rome. It's inside an old convent, so the building itself has tons of character. The location was great; close to a lot of restaurants in the Trastavere area and about a 20-30 minute walk from most of the major sites in Rome. The staff was extremely helpful (with policies like holding your room key for you so it can't get pickpocketed). The breakfast included was very good, not just the cheapest thing they could find. Just a note if you do stay here: look up directions before you arrive. The instructions on their website include using the 125 bus which is now out of service, so you'll need an alternate route. Overall a great experience, highly recommend.

A hotel in what was once a convent was an interesting introduction. This hotel has comfortable rooms with a high level of service from the staff. Notable features include a rare view of Rome from a roof top terrace and a mobile phone with unlimited data and calls included in the room tariff.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel.
The room is big and clean. The bed confortable and last but not least there is air conditioning.
The service was very good. Each time we came back for a pit stop during the day, upon our return at night the room will be clean again (towels changed if we used them during the day, bed made if we had a nap). There was a mobile phone available in the room for calls, internet and to use outside of the hotel.
The breakfast is a buffet with simple and good choice and you can ask for hot drinks. Not the best I had but it was good.
There is a rooftop with a nice view and some chairs (no service provided) . The staff is friendly and at your service. Most of all they remember you.
Good hotel in Roma in a very nice area of the city that I warmly recommend.

7

Beautiful hotel and exceptional service by the front desk. It does seem to be a very popular event space (business/wedding/etc) so our stay felt a bit like we were intruding on these larger parties, but the breakfast was delicious and the garden area was ideal for sipping coffee in the morning. Rooms had a lovely old world charm, reasonably quiet and they were in great condition.

A wonderful hotel in an ideal location. The service was excellent and breakfast always very good.

You're immersed in history when you stay here. All the major attractions are what I would consider walkable distances however the Trasteverde area is so enchanting you may just want to stay there.

It was a nice hotel in Trastevere but it felt better suited for hosting events. I staied at eight hotels during a trek through Italy and this one (was not awful at all) but felt the least welcoming/impressive.

Excellent place! Very well reconstructed, the service was helpful and fun, the room was excellent and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I've slept in!

The only negative points would be that the public transport is 10-15min away and the WiFi didn't work properly in the room.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Delicious buffet breakfast was included in the price and was just a solid start to each day in Rome. Don't cheat yourself and overload your plate with pastries and pancakes and all the breakfast things. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable and staff was just so pleasant. Felt like home, only better.

The hotel was awesome. The room was not overly large, but well laid out and comfortable. The bath was luxurious.

The staff all spoke English and were extremely helpful. I had some issues (not hotel related) for which I needed help and the front desk people went out of their way to assist me.

The ambiance of the hotel is striking. The former convent presence is acknowledged throughout the hotel with informational signs and a few pieces of art to view. A small working church sits in the front of the hotel. There is a pleasant private courtyard that can be used for breakfast or just hanging.

The hotel sits on the edge of Trastevere, away from the throngs of college kids that can be a nuisance, but close enough to be in a piazza or any one of a hundred restaurants within ten minutes. There are a few restaurants literally a hundred meters from the hotel entrance. We ate at one and it was good.

We walked from here to all of the main tourist spots with no difficulty.

We loved the beautiful courtyard where we had breakfast. Also a lovely view from the roof terrace.

Will definitely come again next time we're in Rome.
